This charming steakhouse was an excellent find! Being brand new, the decor is fresh and inviting, making it the perfect setting for an intimate meal or a lovely dinner with a group of friends. I dined with a group of four, and the staff was absolutely superb, providing some of the most attentive service I've ever received. The wine list was quite extensive and varied for a steakhouse of its size, and the specialty cocktails seemed to be extravagant and popular. We ordered several appetizers, notably the oysters rockefeller and seared scallops, which were both to-die-for. Everything was fresh and made in-house. The French onion soup and lobster bisque, which was prepared tableside, were both delicious. The steak selection, which I understand is aged on-site, was fantastic. I enjoyed the Australian wagyu with bernaise sauce and a side of crispy brussels immensely, while the other entrees I sampled from the table were great as well. For desert, the souffle was the perfect ending to a incredible and memorable meal. On every dish we ordered, the attention to detail in both preparation and presentation was very apparent. This boutique steakhouse is truly a hidden gem and is a welcome addition an area otherwise crowded with chain options, offering what I'd consider to be one of the best dining experiences around.
Excellent dining experience with an amazing lake view! Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The food was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. A great addition to Bonita!
Delicious! The bone in seared salmon melts in your mouth. The lamb chops was so tasty. Loved the beet salad. Dave the Bartender was super friendly and accommodating. The general manager took time to talk and share some interesting history. All in all, this is a great place for dinner. We will return next time in Bonita Springs....
Fun place to spend a few hours. Sat at the bar and had a great time. Their Old Fashion was among the best I’ve had, smoke it right in front of you! The French onion soup and salad wedge was delish. We had a great conversation with a local. The service was excellent!
Fine dining hidden by a hotel along the water. Everything was perfect - food, service, and location by the water. The only negative i could say is the busy road and the mosquitoes... but once you get over those little things, it's tremendous flavors and a dining experience you will thoroughly enjoy! And that souffle... wow!
This place is such a hidden, and underrated, gem. The wagyu is some of the best I’ve ever enjoyed. And their take on oysters rock? SO good. I highly recommend a try (despite the hotel setting).
Best dining out experience since we’ve been here! Delicious food (specifically steak, crab cake appetizer and carrot cake for dessert), perfect drinks and amazing service from Zoran our waiter. 5⭐️s would recommend!
All was very good. Friendly and clean. Beautiful seating on the patio. Waiter was very attentive.
We had a great Friday evening dinner. The restaurant is part of a hotel, and also has free valet parking (don’t forget to tip). The server brought out a few warm dinner rolls and butter. They were very good. I started the meal with the wedge salad. It was really good. The bacon, blue cheese and tomatoes were delicious, and the honeycomb included with the salad was a great addition. My spouse had the scallops. They were very fresh and tasted excellent. I had the special fish of the evening which was a pan seared black cod with a lobster risotto and lobster reduction sauce. I loved it. We shared the side of Brussels. They were very tasty. We passed on the desert. All in all it was excellent food, but I think it’s a bit overpriced.
Our server David was fantastic- food was exceptional a very pleasant surprise! Excellent wine too
Came here with some friends and most of us had never eaten here before. The seafood was off the hook fresh and prepared beautifully. Service by David was wonderful and refreshing! I'll be back with others. You do get what you pay for in every bite! One of the best meals I have enjoyed in awhile!
The excellent cocktails, cuisine, consistency in top notch service and presentation have brought us back to dine here many times. We love this place! We enjoyed a fabulous dinner last night of filet Mignon and various salads and side dishes. Tonight we went back for the surf n turf and the pork chop. Each and every item was exquisite, tasty, and beautiful. The service could not have been better! We plan to return yet again, asap.
The atmosphere was great. Low key and elegant. Great outdoor patio. We had Alain as our server who elevates things to a new level with impeccable service. Lobster Mac and cheese was decadent, the beet salad with goat cheese and candied walnuts, amazing. Great steaks…Coming from Arizona where we do have an in season, I have to admit the level of pickiness and endless complaining I see since moving here, is at a new level…,Place is phenomenal, some people you just can’t please.
Chris Murphy took great care of us at the lobby bar. And the lady bartender in the restaurant also gave us great service!
Fantastic!!! In every way our Christmas Eve dinner was perfect! Service! Menu! Specials! Wine! Ample cocktails! Atmosphere! Noise level! Even ginger butterscotch soufflé to cap it off. What impressed me also was that, even though it was a busy opportunistic night, they didn’t rush us! We have been rushed out of other establishments that were more focused on flipping the table vs our experience. Well done by all!
Great experience for happy hour. The food is amazing, our server, Fady, was outstanding and the outdoor patio is beatiful. We shared the lobster bisque, steak salad and had a scallop and a grouper entree. All the food was delicious. We will be back!
These servers are old school pros and the food is delicious. Great happy hour on drinks and food prior to 630 the Filet was the best I have had in a long time and the drinks were made perfect.
My friends and I went to this amazing restaurant a few nites ago and were so pleasantly surprised how good this gem is! They have a very good early dining promotion that made us very happy. Food was the best we all had in a restaurant in awhile.
Great dinner at a very fair price. The seafood was excellent and the pork chops very good. The best beet salad we've ever had. We went during the "Happy Hour" promotion that offered excellent discounts. We will return.
My wife and I enjoyed a nice, quiet date night here. We had Australian Wagyu steak that melted in your mouth and hit all the right tastebud notes. The French Onion Soup was amazing, as well as the Parmesan Truffle Fries and Mashed potatoes. We finished dinner out with a White Chocolate Wildberry Souffle. Most importantly, our server Michael was amazingly polite, attentive, and helpful. All in all, this was a great experience for a great price!
Amazing, experienced team. Well run. Expensive, though with a real chef in charge of his kitchen. And a different souffle almost every night. Great reason for special occasions. (And let the friendly valet park your car. He appreciates and is careful with well-tuned vehicles.)
Beautiful special occasion restaurant! We stayed at the hotel and they gave us a $40 coupon. This is NOT an inexpensive place, but it is a dining experience. My husband ordered the special turf & surf meal, which he really enjoyed. I had the crusted mahi-mahi with coconut lime sauce. We agreed that was the best of the entire meal. Our plates had 3 sauces and they were all freshly made and expertly accented the meals. The waiter was a professional career server. We enjoyed the experience - thank you!
The grilled swordfish, which was the catch of the day, was perfectly cooked to medium as requested, and was moist yet appropriately firm / meaty and delicious. The escargot we had was presented in a nontraditional way in a creamy base along with the puff pastry and was very good . . . and an alternative safer entry for those trying escargot for the first time. To be clear, the escargot was very good, but a bit heavier in the cream base and not your “lighter” traditional garlic and white wine base as found in France. Our Server was exceptional and an amazing delight! He made our first time experience at the Olde Florida Chop House even better. Our respective Old Fashioned and Gin Martini cocktails were meticulously crafted. Finally, the Happy Hour will make many patrons happy with designated discounts of 30% to 50% off of all food and $2 off cocktails and I believe $1 off beers.
We had a wonderful dinner at Olde Florida Chop House. Our water was very friendly and did an excellent job explaining the specials. The steaks were very tender and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend for a special occasion or getting together with good friends.
Great Discovery We spend a month in Bonita Springs each year and are always looking for new places to eat. While attending a concert here the couple next to us suggested we try this place. After reading the many great reviews about the food and a server named Alain, we gave it a try. Both exceeded our expectations. The restaurant also had a warm and romantic ambiance. It definitely will be on our list of favorite places.
We were celebrating my hubby birthday and we had a great time. Elegant Ambience , excellent service specifically our server David. Mojito and expresso martini were fantastic. Ceviche and lobster bisque delicious. Our main were waygu meatloaf and Tomahawk pork chop with spinach delicious. First time here and starting with the valet service, host, server great experience. Highly recommend.
:Everything a great steak house should be! Perfectly cooked to temperature steaks and chops with excellent and attentive table service by committed and professional staff. Creative drink menu, fresh and creative appetizers and salads. Generous happy hour with discounted steaks, appetizers and drinks. Highly recommend this neighborhood gem for great dining and service for business or pleasure dining!
Dave was a great server. We enjoyed a great Happy Hour on the patio overlooking the lake. We were with friends that drove down from Venice and we drove up from Naples and we all loved it. We all enjoyed the wagyu steak and lobster special. It was our first time there, but we will be back!!
Every time we're in the Naples area, we treat ourselves to this fabulous dining experience!!
Had a superb early-dinner, happy hour visit. The restaurant was clean and neat, inviting without being overdone. Everyone on the staff I talked to was friendly and helpful. Tenderloin steak salad was excellent, cooked just as I asked, my glass of cabernet quite fine, and the key lime pie at the end superb. All that notwithstanding, the best part was bartender Josie/Josephine: professional, efficient and personable in a genuine, not artificial, way. A rare find!
First visit for My husband’s birthday. It was spectacular! Excellent water views, outstanding service, sides/steak were AMAZING, and we took advantage of the happy hour pricing. Loved it and will definitely be back to try other menu items. Old supper club vibes which we love.
Felt lucky to get a prime time reservation for 2 on a Saturday night. Once I noticed it was in a hotel I started to wonder if it would measure up. But I'm here to say it did! Service and ambiance was great. Food and drinks also delicious. We had the carpaccio, pork chop, salmon, and split the truffle fries. Found the portions to be fair to the prices. The side dish prices were a little steep but I'm glad we didn't order more as we did leave full. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a nice seafood and steak dinner out.
We had an excellent time dining here. The food was great, but what really made it a night we will always remember was the top notch service provided by our incredible and kind server, Alan. Alan was hands down one of the best servers we have ever experienced. We will go back here specifically to see Alan again, and we highly recommend that you ask for Alan to be your waiter. We ordered a steak that was cooked perfectly, the ceviche was wonderful, the beet salad to die for, the Parmesan truffle fries were scrumptious, and the atmosphere and wine were all just as good too. We are so glad we found this place while staying the night at the Trianon hotel!
Our food was outstanding. We tried the lamb for the appetizer which was just a hair over cooked at med-rare, but great flavor. The wedge salad was wonderful with the honeycomb. I had the ribeye and lobster and my fiancé had the filet. My fiancé and I shared the lobster tail and honestly the best we have ever had. Perfectly cooked, not hard or rubbery. It fell apart when touched with your fork, amazing. The room is dated, along with the placemats and worn handles on the steak knives. Service was excellent. Going back again!!!
Olde Florida Chop House has amazing service that is helpful and professional. Our dinners were good and there were no complaints, but there are better steakhouse experiences that are better in my opinion. I will return and give it another try. Excellent cocktails, though their special sangria was not good.
The service was excellent! Very accommodating with heaters and attentiveness. The food offerings were enticing, but flavors were just okay. Truffle fries were tasty, but cheese had a hard time clinging. Lobster bisque was fine but nothing special. Escargots were served in a different fashion - one puff pastry with the snails gathered around. It could have used more butter and garlic. Lamb chops were well enjoyed, as were the salad and crab cakes and souffle. It was a very pleasant experience.
I'm going 3 stars on the price alone, food is good and would be awesome if the price was half. While they do have "happy hour" and a $40 coupon if you stay at the hotel your still paying a minimum of $130. $67 for a steak... just steak, no side dishes, you'll pay $10 a piece for those. Around $14 per drink and $15 for desert, another $15 for your appetizer. You better be prepared for a very big ticket when you eat here. Staff is fantastically trained and the atmosphere is nice. Just too expensive for what it is
Maybe one should know to ask how crab cakes are prepared, but at another well known upscale steak house on 41 they were perfect. These were crispy and crunchy on the outside as if they were fried and the filling was mostly breading and some crab. Even a chain like Bonefish has good lumpy genuine crab in theirs with very little else in them. This was very disappointing. Not likely to return. Better to spend lots of money at other consistently good establishments.
First off, it is very expensive, but that seems par for steak houses in this area. Good happy hour deal with entrees 35%-50% off. But all sides are ordered a la carte and are not included in happy hour pricing (?), nor are desserts, so expect to pay well north of $100 for a happy hour dinner for two. My main complaint is ambience, dining room is rather bland, not a typical steak house vibe. Service was rather inattentive, not servers fault, but sign they are woefully understaffed. As our entrees were being served, a loud group entered and were seated at the table directly next to ours, even though the entire restaurant was empty! To his credit, our server moved us at my request, although somewhat begrudgedly at first. In summary, food is okay, not worth the money, and we won't be back.
I made reservations for 2, initially 3, for a Birthday celebration during Happy Hour. Our server was Mike, although he was pleasant, he was very dry and seemed bothered more than anything, and will charge gratuity to your bill. We ordered: Escargot - was very good, had good flavor, and served hot; Lamb chops - we were served 2 very small chops, flavor wasn't bad; Shrimp cocktail was fresh; Oyster Rockefeller had good flavor, filled with Spinach and bread crumbs but no Oysters in a single one; Blueberry Bread Pudding was very good, good flavor, and served table side. The Martinis were made to our liking. I did not appreciate Mike automatically adding gratuity, 25% gratuity, to my bill!!! We ordered Apps, 3 drinks, and a Dessert for a table of 2. The table of 4 was not automatically charged gratuity!!! Base off of my experience for my birthday, I would not recommend.
Not impressed by the high prices and small European portions . I have paid more and had better elsewhere. This meal did not measure up to what I expected for such a fine establishment. The atmosphere was pleasant and I enjoyed a quiet conversation with the wife. She wasn't impressed with her meal as well. I will leave her comments out as they were not constructive. We drove over Alligator Alley from the east coast to visit friends on the west coast. We had an enjoyable day with them and then we headed off to dinner. I would had invited my friends to dinner but they already had plans of their own. Oh well, mark this off of my list. It doesn't feel like an Olde Florida restaurant. I guess this place is for northerners who don't know any better.
Surprised to see it rated more than three stars. So many better steak houses in the area. If you work in the industry, then you know when you see a supposedly nice restaurant with early bird specials and 50% this or that, the place is going downhill. Manager seems pretty inept. I also miss the bartender that was there last year. She was simply amazing and it’s sad they couldn’t keep her.
We went to Fort Myers for date night fully intending to go to a favorite restaurant we frequent in the area. The hotel we stayed at for the night gave us a $40 dollar voucher for the hotel restaurant, and after looking at the enticing menu, we decided to change our date spot. On the voucher it said 18% gratuity was automatically charged. Fair enough. The food was delicious and the service top notch. The drinks were nice and strong so we didn't really look at the bill when it came and forgot the automatic gratuity. My husband tipped well (and the bill told how much to tip at the recommended percentages starting at 20%) Looking at the bill the next day, the restaurant did take the automatic gratuity as part of food charges (slick) separate from the tip section, and it was not the disclosed 18% but 20%. On top of that was the additional 20+% we happily tipped forgetting the automatic gratuity. Our waiter had a good night! But despite the amazing food, it left a bad taste in our mouth. Maybe the wealthy that were all around us would not blink at this, but a tip of almost $85 is pretty steep for a couple on a date night out of town. We left feeling a little robbed, and like we should have protected ourselves better. But who wants to need to pay close attention to things like these when you are on date night with a nice drink and a beautiful hotel room nearby.
I don't get the hype. The service was horrible Carlos was our waiter. The food was average, Beautiful scenery and the piano player is great. 5:30pm- 7:40pm here forever.
We booked a reservation for the outdoor dining area for Valentine’s Day over a month in advance. I got a voicemail from the manager a day before saying that he moved us to a different dining room. When we arrived we were told to go to the hotel lobby where they had a makeshift dining area. We were also sent the pre-fix menu beforehand with a drink flight option. When we were seated we were told we could not order it. It was obvious that they had cut off the bottom half of the menu. The couples around us seemed bothered by this as well. Our entree took about 90 minutes to arrive, and while it tasted good, the steak was tough. While the staff was friendly it was apparent that there was a lack of service going on. We left disappointed and still paid over $300 for a subpar experience.
Unfortunate experience. Reserved a month in advance and paid full price only to be moved into a makeshift dining room, denied the original drink menu, wait 90 minutes for our entree and be told, in short, tough luck about our experience.
Food was bland. Service was bland too. The server had the audacity to ask if the tip was a mistake (18%). I will not return and I would not recommend this place.
The Service was wonderful but very disappointed with the food. To start: the rolls were dry as hell. The French onion soup was terrible and the cheese on top ruined it completely. The filet had no flavor at all. The sides you order separate which the mashed potatoes tasted like instant potatoes and the asparagus was large and hard. Thank goodness it was happy hour and we got a discount on the steaks. BUT... the desert was great. Not going back.
Got the tomahawk chop and a fish of some sort to go...big mistake...chop was thin...dry...no seasoning at all! Topping for chop was in a tiny plastic ramekin to throw on top I guess...fish was same.....150 bucks + 20% tip....because I didn't know! I was too tired to run it back...never again! Take lessons from Yard house and Pewter mug on how to cook a chop....CHOP HOUSE
We went for Valentine’s Day were seated in a room seperate from the restraunt. Waited 90 mins for food and then when it came it was the two wrong entres. The waiter apologized but not wanting to wait another 90 min we ate the incorrect dish. Then was asked to pay full price.
