Yummy salad with goat cheese, cranberries, apples, beets, greens, chicken & dressing. Also tried my partners sandwich with chicken & prosciutto with pesto. Yum! Ate outside under covered area with the dogs.

Mendocino Farms never disappoints. The avocado quinoa salad is my go-to now, and before I went vegan, I also loved the Caprese veggie panini, which was always a favorite. I was first introduced to Mendocino Farms back in 2014 or 2015, and it’s been a place I’ve continued to come back to over the years. The Brea location is my go-to, even though it’s a bit of a drive for me, but it’s definitely worth it. If you have any substitutions or specific preferences, just let the staff know. They’re always helpful and accommodating. I once had to come back a second time because I messed up my own order, and the staff and management were incredibly kind and didn’t charge me for the second order. They truly cared and showed respect, especially knowing it was a drive for me. They really take care of their customers and make sure everything is done right. I can never give this place less than five stars. Consistent, welcoming, and always a great experience.

This spot has always got some high quality sandwiches that are fresh and yummy. Somehow their menu items have done a fantastic job and getting the best of both worlds when it comes to being on the healthier side while at the same time hitting all the flavor spots in your mouth. The sandwiches are great, so you’ll have to return to try them all. The couscous is amazingly good too and one of our favorite sides.

Except our favorite, Chicken and Prosciutto , we ordered Chicken Parm Dip this time, marvelous!!! Chicken, Mendo’s krispies, melted mozzarella & parmesan, pomodoro sauce, basil, Calabrian chile aioli, on toasted sesame roll served with extra pomodoro for dipping, make sure you'll eat the sandwich every bite with the dipping sauce, and you know what, pour the sauce onto the sandwich, don't just dip it, you'll know how good it is !!!

Delightful, plentiful and healthy food choices are what you can find here. Sandwiches seem to be the staple here although I did notice they serve pasta, salad and other entree options. Surprisingly you could also purchase beer along with your healthy dining choice. The pesto sandwich and grilled cheese sandwiches came with fries and the portion sizes were perfect. The sandwiches where perfectly presented. Although the food prices are a bit high its is what you would expect at an establishment like this. Very similar to Corner Bakery or Panera. Dining area was very clean during my visit. They even had a few outdoor games to pass the time while the food is brought to you. The outside dining area is a nice tranquil area to enjoy your meal. It was much quieter than the inside dining area. During my visit, all staff members were very kind and welcoming.

My first time here — had the sweet peach & goat salad to go. With chicken, goat cheese, spicy honey, peaches, almonds and so much more — SO GOOD I actually crave it! I recommend trying it soon, not sure if the chef’s specials are around long term. Just wish they would open up a location closer in North OC! Hint hint

I absolutely love and desire this place. You see, I hated things that seemed off brand. The day I tried it was the day I wanted subway. But, my dad convinced me to try it. I was upset and very dissatisfied that I didn’t get subway. I decided to order a salad because I didn’t wanna risk anything. I absolutely hated the salad! But my sisters sandwich looked very good. For all my years of living I’ve always hated steak. But when I tried the chimmichuri steak and bacon, my world changed. I have never loved something more in my life. I love it so much I would pay hundreds of dollars for one singular bite. It’s the best thing ever. The flavor, the texture, and how full it makes you in just a few bites. It is the best thing I have ever tasted. Please get it.

I had lunch with a friend. Since it was my first time here, I was thinking about what to eat, and ordered Avocado Quinoa Salad, Peruvian Steak Sandwich, and beer. Only 4 kinds of canned beer were available, but it would be better if they sold draft beer. The salad with fresh vegetables, avocado, and quinoa on the plate was very tasty. Especially with the dressing. Peruvian Steak Sandwich was also a great combination of meat, vegetables, and bread, and the portion was large that I was full even after eating only half. I was satisfied with food. I'll try another salad and sandwich next time I visit.

Really tasty, fresh food! I got the turkey sandwich and it was very good. They were really accommodating of substitutions/changes to what we ordered. The servers were all very friendly. Ordering was quick and easy. Prices were reasonable. I would definitely go again.

Fresh ingredients and nice shady patio spots to chill and eat. I had their chicken and prosciutto salad. Their pesto dressing was on point and veggies were very fresh. My wife had Vietnamese bhan mi - in salad style instead of sandwich. Very delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The creaminess helps the sandwich taste better in my opinion. This sandwich isn’t too big, so keep that in mind. Thai mango salad - if you like some tartness in your salad, this one is a good choice. The chicken isn’t dry. Noodles at the very bottom was good as well. If you want something light, I’d recommend this dish. Exterior: they do have outdoor seating and foosball table. Price: reasonable but $2.00 for a little bit of avocado is a bit much.

It’s an open kitchen so you can see the staff preparing the food. It took almost 20 minutes for my 3 salads. My all time favorite is their Avocado & Quinoa Superfood Ensalada!! I love everything about it, from the superfood krunchies, quinoa, avocado and chipotle vinaigrette!! You have the option of adding chicken for an additional price. But, it’s so delicious even without the chicken. I love added texture and bold flavor of the chipotle vinaigrette! Whenever I have this salad, it’s so satisfying and filling. There are many sandwiches to choose from. You can get soup or one of their sides to go with it. *********************************** Our group came hungry, after a long hike. And, Mendocino Farms hits the spot! Good quality food with fresh ingredients. Many healthy choices Cute decor and they have an outdoor patio area. Some gluten free and vegan options here. Seating can get really crazy here during the busy lunch and dinner times. You can look for seating at the outside courtyard near Whole Foods (after you’ve gotten your food of course 😉) Avocado & Quinoa Superfood Ensalada - love the superfood krunchies in this salad! And, of course, the avocado makes this salad filling. 🥑 The chipotle vinaigrette has a little kick but love it! This is my go-to whenever I go here. It always makes me feel like I’m eating super healthy but it’s also visually appealing and tastes delicious! 🥗 The Impossible Taco Salad - (One of our friends tried this salad) Plant-based Impossible chorizo was a little bland but felt good eating it (trying to be healthier) The Spicy Dijon Potato Salad was delicious. Pink Lady Beets & Goat Cheese Salad - pink lady beets and green apples are crisp. The goat cheese makes this salad so yummy. Love the presentation! So beautiful! The dining atmosphere is nice outside on a beautiful SoCal day. It’s a little loud but it is crowded lunch hour. Service was friendly and fast. Food was very good. Had the 1/2 sandwich( not so fried chix ) and corn chili soup. Friend had the chix prosciutto sandwich. Very filling and yummy. I would go back.

The Avocado Quinoa Salad was really good—fresh, flavorful, and packed with quality ingredients. It’s a generous portion, though; I added protein but didn’t need it—the salad is plenty filling on its own. Only downside: they serve plain tap water and that is disappointing. For a modern spot like this, filtered or sparkling would be a nice touch. Great healthy option overall.

There was no peanut butter and jelly in my peanut butter and jelly sandwich. They just gave me two slices of bread.

Although the quality of the food was great as always, the service was rushed and unprofessional. We walked in at 735pm. The inside of the restaurant had 2 other families when we entered, and there was over an hour left before the 9pm closing time, but it appeared as if the staff was already cleaning up prepping for closing. We placed our order at 7:40pm (check #311). We received our order approximately 30 minutes later. I had to get it myself from the counter, as what I assume was the manager based on her uniform, was very slow and focused on other matters instead of passing out the food that had been sitting on the counter for minutes. I don’t ever mind getting my order just don’t make it seem as if you’re going to bring it out to each table if this is not going to be a priority. By 8:10pm, an employee was already emptying out every single drink dispenser into plastic containers with lids. If anyone wanted a refill, the only way to get one was for the young lady to open the lid of the applicable container, stick a small plastic cup inside, and pour the chosen lemonade into each customer’s cup (I’ve noticed this on a prior visit). Your food is too good to be accompanied by crummy service. Oh, and by the way, your website doesn’t allow for expressing this type of concern. I attempted to do leave this information via your “Contact us” feature 3 times, and finally gave up after being frustrated when the “submit” button did nothing.
