Some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. Delicious soup, dumplings, pot-stickers and their fried, crispy meat wontons are wow!!! Like they advertise - very juicy! Fried green beans so delicious. No real desserts.
This was my first time trying a dumpling and I was blown away by how simple and tasty it was. I've already brought a few friends here that were also raving about the traditional pork dumplings and planning to bring their friends back here as well. The staff was also very friendly in recommending dishes that were popular. I'll make any excuse to come here and have more.
Their name did not lie. Their XLB are actually super juicy, and they come out piping hot! So be ware or you could burn your tastebuds off before they can taste the savory porky broth inside the XLB. The skin of the XLB is not as delicate as din tai Fung, but close. The thing I regret not trying is the giant juicy dumpling they offer with a straw. I will go back and try it
This place was great. The dumplings are exactly like the name of the restaurant-SUPER JUICY! My friend and I are regulars at this point. So filling and so tasty. You can taste the quality in the dumplings. Thank you for existing.
The food is excellent here the dumplings are actually very juicy and you wanna make sure you don't poke them when you pick them up so that all that tasty juice goes in your mouth and not in the tray. Their entries are also delicious with very good beef and broccoli come out chicken an orange chicken. You are served by a squad of people who bring you drinks and food as it is ready so you are never waiting. The restaurant is very clean and And the staff are always very attentive.
It is absolutely super juicy. We were greeted and sat very fast. They have a good size menu. Our dishes came out quickly. Everything we ordered was hot and tasty. We got the pancake, soup dumplings, spicy wontons, pot stickers, house noodles and shrimp fried rice. Everything was delicious and juicy! We took a taro boba to go and it was very refreshing.
I had lunch here on a Monday, and it was not busy, so the perfect time to check it out! We ordered “Kung Pao Shrimp” & “Juicy Pork & Shrimp Dumplings (9).” Both plates were delicious. My fav about the shrimp plate, the sauce was good, runny (not sticky, which I liked), and not sweet or overpowering. The dumplings were delicious as well. I’ll for sure be back!
I don't care what anyone says. I've tried soup dumplings from all over Southern California including Din Tai Fung. This place has the best soup dumplings, period!
I’d say this place is better than din tai fung when it comes to straight quality and taste of the food! Everything is seasoned so well and reasonably priced for how much you get when you order. It’s a staple place to grab a bite for dinner and I love that they serve hot tea when you’re seated. Perfect spot for rainy days or to satisfy your Asian food cravings!
Loved everything Get Again: Shanghai Pan Fried Bun Vegetarian Bun Vegetarian Small Dumplings Both Juicy Pork Sweet and Non-Sweet Dumplings Amazing Dumpling, could eat here everyday Tried: Juicy Pork and Shrimp Dumplings Try Next time: Juicy Pork and Crab Dumplings Juicy Beef Dumpling Juicy Pork and Crab Bun
This place is my go to for dumplings. The beef rolls, chili oil wontons, soup dumplings are all fantastic. I also really like their pork fried rice. The food's never failed to be great here, I've seen slow service once or twice but nothing major.
Tried super juicy dumpling for the first time local Brea Chinese restaurant located in Home Depot Plaza Atmosphere is traditional, Chinese restaurant decoration a bit dated Service is very good We got the steam pork bun and pan fried bun. Both are very juicy. Shrimp fried rice is very large portion with big pieces of shrimp. Sweet-and-sour soup is very authentic Chinese. We also got the beef roll, which tends to be slightly sweet with sweet bean past sauce. Average dish is $16-$19 definitely a local Chinese restaurant I would often visit 5/5 stars Good alternative to budget friendly ding tai fung style food like the xaio long bao
So delicious!!! Their dumplings are truly juicy. they have a bunch of other really tasty things on the menu, we tried the green beans, cucumbers, and shanghai buns. We’ll definitely be back again. The service was exceptional and very timely, and the complimentary tea is a great accompanying beverage🍵highly recommend!!!
We love this place. Authentic homemade dumplings 🥟 are delicious. Our favorite is the Garlic Spare Ribs. Everything is great. Friendly staff.
I came here to have a light meal. Four people ordered crab and pork dumplings and fried noodles, and the food came out quickly. The dumplings here were as juicy as the name suggests. The noodles were also delicious and we had a very satisfying meal. I want to try something else next time
Had dinner at super juicy dumpling last night, absolutely the best soup dumplings in the Brea area! Rival Din Tai Fung in my opinion, and everything is just delicious. Service is also friendly and prompt! We got the chicken fried rice, stir fried string beans (amazing), green onion pancake, orange chicken, non-sweet juicy pork dumplings (omg) and wontons with spicy oil (a must!!). Yes, we ordered so much for two but it was worth it. Will be back again and again :)
If you're looking for authentic Chinese food and soup dumplings, you have to try this place. I have been coming here for years!! Food is always spot on, and service is fast!
Came here to celebrate my birthday with a large group of family and they were so accommodating and attentive to our large group of 14. Everything was delicious to order and to put the cherry on top, they don't automatically add gratuity for our big group. I appreciate that so much eventhough we did end up leaving them a nice tip :) Love this place! We ended our meal with chocolate dumplings that hit the spot!

Lunchtime weekday and it's busy. Exhibit window shows noodles and dumplings handmade right in the restaurant. I had the beef noodle soup and green onion pancake. The soup was very tasty and the freshly made noodles were perfect. The onion pancake was a little too greasy but still tasty. I will be back to try other dishes.
Din Tai Fung wait time = 2 hours Super Juicy Dumplings wait time = 10 min On that fact alone, this place is worth it. Definitely recommend the rice cakes! Soft and delicious! We ordered the pork and crab dumplings, pork dumplings, large dumpling, green beans (delicious), and a fish soup (don't recommend). Everything was pretty good, except for the fish (very oily).
Pretty solid dumpling spot in Brea! The noodles were really good. They had that chewiness and texture that was quite different than other Chinese noodle dishes. I really dug the chewiness! The soup is as also very flavorful like a tomato base or something. The Shanghai pan fried dumplings were amazing. Their bottoms were toasted with whole sesame seeds which gave them a very unique crunch. The aroma was so mouth watering and the inside was juicy. So good. There were recommendations to get the big crab dumpling and while it was super juicy and jiggly (check out the video), it didn’t blow us away and the fact that it took almost 40 minutes to come out after we ordered it really killed the vibe. We were already done with our other food for 20+ minutes before the big crab dumpling came out and by then we were no longer in the zone for excitement to eat. It seemed like there were a lot of orders for the crab dumpling as other patrons were also waiting 40+ minutes. If they get that sorted out it will be a plus plus. Overall it’s probably the best pan fried dumplings I’ve had in a long time. I’d return for those and the noodles! The staff was attentive, almost too attentive that they hover.
Service should know how to speak English. Hard to communicate with. Gyoza was the only thing I would definitely pass up. Honey Walnut shrimp and Kung Pao shrimp were very tasty. Soup was a little bland but add chili oil and it would make it tastier. It is a little on the expensive side.
Pretty good. Taiwanese beef rolls were the best. The Shanghai fried buns were a bit too much bread and not enough meat. Everything else we ordered was good. Will definitely come back.
If you find yourself in Brea and have a craving for some mouth-watering dumplings, look no further than Super Juicy Dumpling. This hidden gem offers a delightful array of dishes that will leave your taste buds dancing with joy. Must-Try Dishes If it’s your first time here, there are a couple of dishes you absolutely cannot miss. The Juicy Pork & Crab Bun is a standout. These buns are perfectly steamed, with a delicate dough that encases a flavorful filling of pork and crab. Each bite is a burst of savory goodness, with the juices from the filling adding an extra layer of deliciousness. It’s no wonder this dish is a favorite among regulars. Another must-try is the Wuxi Style Pork Ribs. These ribs are cooked to perfection The portion size is generous, making it a great dish to share with others.
We came here for dumplings obviously. You won’t be disappointed if you do that as well. Worth our drive! Pork dumplings (sweetened) gives a little different twist from the normal one. Very good. Juicy. The dough is tender. The quality of the pork is delicious. The big juicy pork and crab bun is something you definitely need to try. I tried it in Shanghai before. This one is comparable to that. Very tasty soup. Cucumber salad, tasty and with good flavor. It’s good for rainy days. And it’s raining today. Best to come here early, if not, around 1:45pm, then you can skip the wait. We will come back to try more dishes.
Dumplings are indeed juicy. Fried Rice was enough to share and have leftovers with our order. I just wish the rice was a tad fried more but overall a good meal if in the area. Would eat here again.
Hidden gem in a strip mall. Came here for lunch with my parents on a Sunday around 1pm and were seated immediately. We had the juicy pork dumplings, house combination fried noodle, spicy wonton soup, hot and spicy fried chicken, and red bean buns. My mom and I split a mango slush as well, which came with boba. Everything was delicious. The dumplings were on point, the fried chicken had a mala spice that I really enjoyed, and the noodles had a great texture. Note that you order by writing down the quantity that you want in the sheet of paper, and then giving it to a waiter. Credit cards accepted. There’s ample parking in the shares public lot.
Waiter was quick in taking my to go order. And pretty much received the take out quick. I ordered veggie dumpling it was pretty good but I was expecting some good sauce. Veggie dumplings - no eggs in them so it good as vegan options. Will visit again
Update in 2025: Haven't been back for 5 years, until someone told me their soup dumplings have turned juicy again! Tried and indeed the case. Their soup dumplings are good now! Recommend: - Soup dumplings 5/5 - Fried rice 4/5 - Fried dishes 4/5 - Pan fried dumplings 5/5 Do Not Recommend: - Soup noodles 2/5 Gross, MSG broth without any authentic Taiwan flavor. - Wontons, which they still use store-bought wrappers in their packages. You can easily visualize it from the open kitchen. Not bad. ------------------ From 2020: Anything but their dumplings! Contrary to their name, the dumplings here were very dry: cold and not even one drop of soup! Not to mention they also used dumpling wraps bought from stores. -_-" Other than dumplings, other dishes were rather good. I also ordered their noodles and Kung Pao chicken. They were authentic without extra sauce in the Americanized way. Order anything but their dry dumplings!

Good, but not great like it used to be. The pork and shrimp juicy dumplings, while still tasty, had no juice in them. The Wuxie style spare ribs were good, but not fall-off-the-bone like they used to be, and the sauce was bright red, rather than the brownish-red sauce that they used to use. The hot and sour soup was full of goodies and quite tasty, but had very little sour flavor to it. I actually preferred it this way, but the rest of my party was disappointed. The eggplant with pork was very good and cooked well. In the past, we would arrive at 5:30 PM on the dot when they opened in order to get a table. Today, the place was never more than half full. My advice to the management: get your old chef back, or this place is doomed.
Although I don’t eat pork and wasn’t able to try the dumplings (most had pork in them), I still had a great experience. I ordered the hot spicy fish fillet, and it was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked, flavorful, and had just the right level of heat. The staff was helpful and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. I appreciate that they had tasty non pork options.

Wasn't very impressed ,especially with the fried rice. The rice was under cooked with no flavor. Probably won't return to this place
The food amount was small and tasteless. The waiters were friendly exc6ept the young girls with ponytails at our table. 5 people 5 dishes, when all the dishes on tables already about 5 minutes later, we still got 3 bowls and 2 pair chopsticks on the table ONLY......
The dumplings here were really good, but just shy of Din Tai Fung. I would recommend this place to anyone who doesn't feel like waiting. It would look a higher class restaurant if they removed pictures of the menu items from the wall too. The sweet pork dumpling and dumplings in hot oil were our favorites. The pork and crab.... Not so much.

Was excited to try this place. It wasnt fresh like I was hoping. The dining area was extremely hot to the point it's unbearable.
Not busy. We were seated. Then, ignored. No service for about 15 minutes. We left for better service and better food.
I had a terrible experience with a waiter who was extremely rude and didn't let me enjoy my time at the restaurant. He seemed very greedy, and I don't know his name. On Saturday night, I found a spot where I wanted to sit, but he rudely changed it and gave it to other people waiting outside. He claimed that he had three people to accommodate, but only three people were waiting outside. This was a complete waste of my time and ruined my evening.
The majority of the wait staff here lack proper training. Other than following instructions, many of them are unable to speak proper English. I've been there twice, and each time they made mistakes on my bills. The only Japanese waitress graciously informed us about the void transaction on the receipts for the first time. The other time, without saying anything, the receipts were simply thrown violently upon our table. There are several better Asian restaurants in the vicinity. Such harsh treatment is not something we have to put up with here.
I used to come here often and always enjoyed the food, which makes this experience especially disappointing. Unfortunately, the service during my last visit was very poor. The food was placed harshly on the table without a word, and the check was tossed toward us. The overall atmosphere felt hostile and unwelcoming. I’m not sure whether this treatment was related to us being Latino, but it did feel discriminatory and was both surprising and upsetting. Sadly, I won’t be returning again.
