Pho Brighton

Really nice food. Me and my friend having pho house, fried rice, baby squid and spring rolls. Food came out really fast. Very nice atmosphere. Waiter and waitress are friendly and great service. Definitely will go again when we visit to Brighton.

Enjoyed a lovely afternoon at Pho,great selection of food and very tasty indeed . Service was great and not too noisy, recommend.

Our server Benjamin made our visit lovely and was very attentive, helpful and kind. The food is incredible and atmosphere comfortable and not too loud even when full and busy. I had the vegan tofu and mushroom noodle soup and it was divine, so fragrant and filling. Will be definitely coming again!

As typical when I travel the world, I always attempt to locate a Vietnamese restaurant. Brighton was no different, and after doing some research, stumbled upon this spot. I had the pho tai and wow…the broth was deeply and intensely flavorful. Hints of cinnamon and anise were evident. The mint leaves were a nice touch considering it’s an atypical garnish. I reckon they cook the broth for around 10 hrs. I usually do not give 5 stars but when I do, it’s well deserved. Highly recommend this spot.

Fantastic evening of traditional Vietnamese food in a less than traditional setting. Staff were super attentive and catered for all food allergies. Very fast service and no issues getting a table even when we had not booked. Was spoiled for choice on the menu and everything we did order was superb. Shout out to Sam our waitress who was delightful, also noted that it is a dog friendly restaurant.

The food at Pho is incredible, but that’s not what I want to point out today. My husband and I have been coming to this Pho for the last 13 years. As long as we’ve been together, this has been our go to restaurant in Brighton. From having our first dates, to meeting up with friends, to getting our dog, having our 12 week scan and most recently a baby, we’ve been to Pho to celebrate with good food. On Friday 23rd January (my birthday) we ventured out for the first time since having a baby and I was really nervous about feeding and changing her in public. We decided to see what the facilities were like at Pho, as although we’d been many times, our priorities had changed. We were blown away by the kindness of the staff. Initially, they thought I wanted to use the changing area and a table to feed my baby and were happy to accommodate us. We hadn’t realised at the time as we intended to eat as well, but they were happy to help us out just because I needed help, and not because we were going to buy anything. Three different members of staff helped us and every single person was so lovely and kind. It’s small things like holding doors repeatedly and moving tables that make life so much easier for new mums. I didn’t ask. They saw me and they helped because they could see I needed it. I felt so relaxed and could enjoy being in our favourite restaurant again. My experience with a newborn has unfortunately shown me that not everyone is happy to help a new mum, so I had been anxious about going out to eat with a new baby, and the staff at Pho made it such a lovely experience for me. I’m so grateful and pleased to say that our family will continue to be loyal to the Brighton branch.

Amazing place, the food was stunning!! Great gluten free selection! Even my partner that isn’t a fan of East Asian cuisine said that this was the best dish he’s tasted so far! We were served by a lovely Samantha that was very friendly and welcoming :) would visit again when in Brighton!!

We had a very lovely experience and Hui Lin was absolutely lovely, very patient and she made sure everyone’s order was right even if we were a very large group. She was cheerful and her customer service experience was top notch. It’s my first time here and the quality of the food was very impressive, very well seasoned and I loved the table setting. The price is very fair and the food portions were big and very satisfying. I will definitely be coming back here again.

First time eating at Phos. The staff was so helpful to suggest to right items, make myself cozy, and also made the me comfortable to experience the best noodles- ramen ive ever had. Shouts out to Lily, Dylan and Harley, absolute stars 🙏

Very good, as usual. Portions look deceptively small, but I can assure you they are very filling. All round good meal in relaxing environment with friendly staff.

Delicious food, good and friendly customer service. We went there for lunch and we had crispy spring rolls, soup and noodles. Good choice and tasty food. Reasonable price.

Wonderful Vietnamese restaurant. There is a welcoming feel as you enter, and the staff are smiling as they greet you. The menu is not overcomplicated, nice and simple and the food we ordered arrived fairly quick and very delicious. The spicy Vietnamese curry was superb. 5 stars well deserved. Payment by card only is a but disappointing but it doesn't change the 5 star rating.

Amazing pork spring rolls ! Lovely peanut sauce . The chicken fried rice was so yummy . Really recommend this place . Service is great and quick.

Fantastic great staff great food top place to eat! I go here when ever I can and have never had a bad time or meal. Feel safe here as a coeliac. It a place where the staff know the food because it is so good they eat it too. It is a great place to go with friends as atmosphere is really good. It is also the home to may favourite cocktail 🍸. 130 ish for 4 that is cocktails starters and mains. Shout out to Harley and Kimberley for being super professional and fantastic hosts 🌟🌟 Still ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Oh and out of 100s of times coming here they have not killed me with gluten....as a coeliac this is a big deal to me 😁😁😁 31 march Still one of the best places to eat....love it 5 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

My friend and I had such a lovely time here! The food was fantastic and the service couldn’t have been better! Maizie was especially amazing — so friendly and attentive. We felt really welcome and relaxed. Great evening!!

Came in for a meal for my brother’s birthday. Never been before, and they went above and beyond expectations. Our server Francesco was exceptional! Made sure we felt welcome and appreciated, and took care of everything. Even when I asked him to take care of my brother’s birthday cake, he came back with plenty of candles and got the rest of the staff and even the neighbouring tables join in singing. Will definitely be coming back in the future! Thank you to the Pho Team and to Francesco!!!

Incredibly personable and friendly staff, and indeed obviously a very well Managed restaurant as there were plenty of staff to take care of individual needs… so the armoushphere was relaxed , and this made ordering easy and the food was beautifully fresh exiting and authentic . Francesco my waiter was really helpful and charming , and attentive , for me the feeling of being seen and noticed is important for a dining experience … Five stars all round

Incredibly tasty food. I’ve never been to Vietnam but this is what I’d imagine it to be like. It was my first time trying Vietnamese food too. I’ve had chicken soup, spring rolls, prawn crackers and banana fritters. Husband had the prawn curry and summer rolls and our LO had the kids noodles. The sweet chilli sauce was so delicious we almost licked the ramekin! Though I wasn’t too keen on the rice paper (but that’s my personal taste). I really enjoyed all the customisation that came with my soup (the wide choice of Vietnamese herbs and sauces). Husband liked his curry too. I did find the aroma of the establishment to be quite overwhelming but you kinda get used to it. Keen to try the wok noodles and the Vietnamese coffee next time. We were also served by Huilin who was so kind. Explained the menu and kept checking in on us. Thank you!

I will always wholeheartedly recommend Pho!! The food is incredible every single time 👏🏼 our server Ryan was very friendly + always made sure we had plenty of drinks + that everything was perfect! 🤩 the atmosphere was buzzing + the service was very good! Will always go back 😊

Martina was a lovely server. Great food, even better cocktails - if you like spice - go for the lychee cocktail! The food was yum and the prawn crackers to start were worth the extra price!

Great food and brilliant for celioac/gluten free. We're usually in Brightin over a weekend and Pho is always busy. This time we went mid-week and got a table straight away. The food is always hot and tasty. Try the coffee. Hot or cold versions it doesn't matter both ate great!!

Great food spot, the food comes out quite quickly and it’s delicious. Service was great, servers were really friendly, just wish they would’ve been more on it with clearing tables when we were done, so i could pay and go. Ended up having to chase someone to pay. I do think it’s because it was quiet, so i don’t mind too much! Will return soon.

I've been trying to get my mum to try new foods and we loved it here! A very reasonable price and tasty food. Minus one star as I booked a low seat but the only seats avaliable were the high seats - staff suggested putting particular requests if required in the booking notes.

the beef brisket is unfortunately a bit dry but the broth is sooooo amazing! I could drink it instead of tea in the morning !! and let me tell you about Bee, what a lovely server!! she was funny and understanding and kind, I would come back just for her ♡♡

The lady that served us was a fantastic server, along with everyone else in the restaurant. The food however was extremely mediocre and the summer rolls were so chewy it tasted like playdoh, not that i have ever tried paydoh. My daughters broth was wonderful that said and my chicken and prawn noodles were ok. We might think twice about a visit next time. purely for the food not the service which again, was very good..

Ryan was super helpful and had good knowledge of the dishes, offering up great tips about what goes well with each other. Squid starter was the star for us, we'd recommend. Not anyone's fault but if sitting by the door (which we were), you end up having a frequent cool breeze from the many delivery drivers coming in and out... they also congregate together so you end up with the deliveroo massive peering in as you eat your meal... sit elsewhere if you can!, or if you are inclined to partake in some food exhibitionism then ask for the table right by the door...... your choice.

🌟🌟🌟 - A good selection of Vietnamese dishes, but could improve on flavour. We went with the classic pho and you certainly won't be disappointed. It would be even better if they added more of the good stuff into the serving, in my case, meat! 🍜

Service was alright and a nice buzzing atmosphere. Food was lacklustre and quite bland for 7 of us but the 8th person's meal was incredible (we all tried a bit!) Good range of gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options and tasty cocktails though. Definitely won't be coming back to eat but glad to have tried it.

Very sad as this is hands down one of my favourite restaurants of all time and to go there after not being able to for a few months and be told they will no longer process my NHS discount with my NHS card is very disappointing. The staff told me they will only offer a discount if I sign up to a gimmicky subscription service :( if you’re nhs you should just get the offer when showing your picture card - what more proof is needed. I do not understand why management are implementing this? The bill a;ready has an automatic service charge so why is nhs physical proof not given the same courtesy? This way I will not be able to visit as frequently as I used to, please cut out the middle man and have your deals be transparent again

food visually looks amazing, staff very attentive and helpful, atmosphere cozy too. however, we were very disappointed with the lack of flavour in both dishes we ordered (spicy beef bisket & normal pho beef brisket), meat is very tender however pho is known for its rich broth which we were expecting as the ratings for the restaurant were really good. however do not expect real asian flavours as I think this is more of a washed down pho. many good points but i think still can be improved

Food was good and came out quick. We were sat on table 23 and served by a guy with long hair. He was rude and we had to correct him multiple times on what drinks we wanted. He made us feel rushed in ordering and while we understand its a saturday around lunchtime, we felt the service could have been friendlier.

Food is amazing. However, I didn't realise there was a shortage of meat across the cpuntry, it the only thing i can think as to the am. As seen in the photo, there is very little meat The pork rolls were also amazing. All in all food was incredible however there is no way it can score highly after the sprinkling of meat.

We are a family of four with a child, and we were seated directly next to a door with a visible gap, allowing extremely cold air from outside to blow continuously onto us. This made the seating completely uncomfortable and unacceptable for a family with a child. After finishing our starters, we politely requested to change our table due to the severe cold airflow. The waitress responded in a rude and unprofessional manner and deliberately ignored our request, choosing to carry out other tasks instead of arranging a table for us. Her behavior was dismissive and clearly intentional. Following this incident, we were kept waiting for more than 45 minutes for our main courses. During this time, we observed multiple tables—who arrived after us—being served before us. When we finally asked another waiter about our order, he questioned whether we had finished our starters, and only then were our main dishes brought out. The food quality was equally disappointing. The main dishes appeared to be reheated, and the tofu dish was dry, dull, and lacked any freshness or flavor. Overall, this was an extremely poor dining experience marked by unacceptable service, long delays, and substandard food quality. This branch of Pho Restaurant failed to meet even basic standards of hospitality, and we expect this matter to be taken seriously and addressed appropriately

My experience at pho was not the best because there was this girl who was hiding under the counter this is not acceptable hiding under the counter. I thought children were sensible but for the food it was alright. It could have been better if my chicken wing was not salty. Next of all the employees were good though they did not ask if I was having a good day.
