We got two burgers. Two fried. Nutella brownie and docs cider. We really loved our burgers but they were on the smaller end. My husband got a burger that had bacon, bbq sauce, cheese. I got a BYO and it was delicious. My husbands Cajun fries were good and the spice kicks you after! I had the garlic herb and OMG best fries ever! They had so much flavor yet so subtle at the same time. The brownie was good as well! All in all we’d def come back!

Ok, let me just say this…I actually own a high-end bar and restaurant in another state and this was by far one of the most amazing experiences my wife and I have had in many, many years. Everything was superb! The server “Junior” was top notch and the manager, “Franklin” was terrific! Excellent experience, truly! The burgers are next level and so is the fish sandwich! You won’t be disappointed, I promise!

Saw the good reviews and diced too try it. "I got the The Master Piece" before I describe the tase im not a big fan of grilled caramelized onions or the fried egg with the yolk runny. That being said... starting with the bread in perfect condition not saggy or gross. The burger was a Master piece, the flavors were great from the meat to the onions to the egg. Delicious burger and very impressive combination of flavors 👏🏾

Loved the food here! Always a queue showing it’s busy but didn’t have to wait longer than 10 mins and went back twice in our visit to NYC as loved the burgers so much! Definitely try the specials if you get a chance

True NYC Burger Legend: Perfection on a Bun! Black Iron Burger absolutely delivered on its reputation. This was, without a doubt, one of the best burgers I have ever had. I went straight for their namesake, the Black Iron Burger (two patties), cooked to a beautiful medium well. The beef was incredibly flavorful and juicy, perfectly complemented by the savory, sweet caramelized onions. Every bite was rich and satisfying. On the side, the onion rings were the ideal companion. They had a light, crispy crust and were cooked to absolute perfection--no greasy sogginess here! To wash it all down, the fresh strawberry lemonade was tart, sweet, and genuinely refreshing. The entire experience was seamless, with service to match the outstanding food quality. If you're looking for a top-tier burger experience in NYC, stop searching and start eating here!

We just came from Canada (Ottawa) where we have the amazing burgers and experienced Black Iron Burger for the first time — and it completely exceeded our expectations! The atmosphere is super chill, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the whole vibe just feels authentic and laid-back. I had the Black Iron Burger with added bacon and it was definitely a perfection. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The bacon took it to the next level. I paired it with a Montauk Wave Chaser IPA, which was crisp and refreshing — the perfect combo! Everything from the quality of the food to the service and even the beer selection was top-notch. If you’re visiting New York, this place should be on your must-try list. It is just few minutes walk from Times Square We’ll definitely be back!

I truly was not expecting for this to be a sports bar! Although, not bad, it was very loud and busy. However, the burgers are absolutely freaking amazing ! We had 2 different ones. Fries were done perfectly. Burgers were super tasty & well crafted. Service was good. Friendly and busy staff. Ambiance, again, is not what I wanted to be but nothing I can do about that. Truly recommend this!

This place was awesome- the burgers were dope (the Iberico Burger was GODLY), the food came out FAST and was so good, but the best part of the experience was how great our server, Augustine was. Pretty sure he was the only server worker when we went in, but he was HUSTLING and did not miss a beat with service despite how busy the place was. Great meal for sure, but he was honestly the highlight of the visit.✨

The burgers are actually the best one’s I have had in the city. Understandable why they were voted the best in NY. The onion rings are also some of the best I have had. It was so good we ordered a second. You can taste how fresh the onions are and it’s not lathered with too much batter. You don’t feel uneasy after eating their food as it’s not excessively oily. The quality is worthwhile.

I had a hamburger and I liked it. However, the waiters clearly want you to eat quickly and leave, as they are trying to give the table to someone else. This is not very pleasant. The location is very central.

no wait time, server Franklin was so kind, personable and attentive. burger recommendation was good too. i would come back! my friend loved the grilled cheese. she kept talking about it as she ate it lol. fries were super hot and fresh!!

The veggie burger was a Garden Burger-style patty topped with avocado and the house aioli--simple, satisfying, and well-balanced. The garlic and herb fries came out hot and crispy, though the garlic was on the mild side. We're serious garlic fans, so others might find the flavor just right. The chicken sandwich stood out with its light, crispy coating and thick-cut bacon. Served on sourdough, the bread added a nice contrast to the richness of the filling.

I was optimistic with eating here. The reviews looked good and was craving a burger prior to a show. Decided to go here and had the midnight burger. Priced around $18. There was an expectation the burger would be great especially since that is the price for just the burger with no sides. The speed at which my meal was delivered was exceptional, however the burger was an epic failure. The midnight burger is two patties with cheese, bacon, and onion rings with an espresso BBQ sauce. This burger was flavorless. Nothing was seasoned. I am not sure how it is rated a 4.7, but definitely needs help. The bar staff were great and this is no reflection on customer service, just the kitchen/executive chef.
