Absolutely the best soup dumplings in Astoria!! So flavorful. The staff are always so nice and welcoming. Definitely get the black truffle steak fried rice as a side to the soup dumplings!!
Outside of flushing, it’s really difficult to find authentic yummy Chinese food. I love that I found Bundt. Their soup dumplings are delicious, the fried noodles are perfect, and every dish tastes like it’s made with love. The service is also great inside a friendly clean environment. It’s a mom and pop shop that definitely deserves all the love!
Beef noodle soup and soup dumplings were both very good. Staff was attentive and friendly. Will be visiting again with friends so I can order more. Trey sea num bah won ton
★★★★★ Best dumplings in town! Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly pleated — every bite is heaven. The xiao long bao soup dumplings are life-changing, and the pan-fried pork buns are crispy perfection. Super fresh ingredients, fast service, and great prices. Already craving my next visit! 🥟❤️
We ate here late afternoon and it was completely empty and then we were blown away by the food. Dan Dan noodles, steamed vegetable dumplings, fried pork dumplings, and pork soup dumplings were all exquisite. I can’t stress that enough it was so delicious I will definitely be coming back!
if i could give this place 12 stars out of 10 i would! i placed a delivery order for the wonton soup, wood ear mushroom salad, and beef and pepper noodle soup. everything came fresh and delicious, and way earlier than expected. the noodles had a homemade texture that i really enjoyed. i was feeling super sick, so i asked for more wonton soup broth in exchange for a free promotion item. they were super generous and gave me both! love their service.
I am SO happy I tried this place! I'm definitely not the first to say that there aren't any good Chinese options in Astoria. HOWEVER, Bund on Broadway has saved my Chinese flavor craving taste buds! Since moving to Astoria from eastern Queens I had basically given up on Chinese food because other than this place they're pretty terrible in Astoria. Did I mention their soup dumplings, dim sum, and noodles are hand made?? THE DETAILS: * Pan fried pork buns - These are REALLY good. The dough is soft but crispy on the bottom (vs other places where it's dried out) and it was literally dripping with the meat sauce when I bit into it. The sauce also wasn't bland like some other places. * Dan dan noodles - This is so interesting. I've actually never had this noodle dish before so I wanted to try it and the flavor profile is quite unique. Definitely recommend giving it a try! * Spicy beef udon noodles - My boyfriend loves udon noodles so he opted for this dish. Other than the fact that he said they could have been spicier (but he has a really high spice tolerance) he still said they were REALLY good and this is the only place we can get Chinese food in Astoria (lol) *Zongzi (sticky rice with pork wrapped and steamed in a banana leaf) - We gave this a try and it was very nostalgic for me. The rice was a little wetter than I'm used to but that might be me thing? Overall very tasty. Wish I got the salted egg one though! *Matcha sesame balls filled with red bean paste - Oh my gosh I've never had this in matcha form. I always remembered going to dim sum with my family and getting these from the push carts but this is a new take on them. They were still warm when we got them (we did delivery) and they were delicious! If you liked sesame, red bean, and the stickiness of mochi, you will love this dessert! I'll be ordering again to try their cold sesame noodles next! Take my advice and give this place a try (and check out the yummy photos)!
Go there twice continuously in two days. Of course because it’s sooooo delicious! For the first day, we just passed by and not expected this small street side restaurant is a hidden gem! The food just bring my thoughts all the way back to my hometown… So we went there the second day, and ordered different stuffs, also amazing. Definitely will go again. 👍
Ahhmaazzzing! I’m sure it’s culturally wrong to eat with hands but I just moved and do lot yet have silverware. The dumplings, especially the soup dumplings, are out of this world! All the food is not only tasty but also beautiful! Better than so many places I’ve tried in NYC known for their dumplings. I highly recommend!
The food is tasty here. I really like the pork soup dumplings. But the salted chicken was very yummy, pork belly bao tender, and the scallion pancakes are the best mix of crunchy texture and gooey inside. The only thing I haven't really liked was the seafood soup dumplings, but that could just be preference. The place is small. But we had no problem finding a seat for lunch on a weekday. Salted chicken this time was definitely pork.
Nice local finding Astoria. It was a slow night, only a couple of the tables. The service is quick. Food came out hot one at a time allowed me time to have some before going on to the next item. To soup dumplings were tasty and held together. The beef stew noodles had the right amount of chew and taste. Only thing I think would have made it better would be stronger hot sauce or chili oil. What they had is flavorful but not very strong. With the trip back to try some of the other stuff.
Guys, if you don’t want to go to Manhattan or Flushing to get soup dumplings, I strongly recommend this restaurant! Soup dumplings are great! Especially, the shrimp soup dumplings are amazing. The black dumplings are great aslo. However, I am not sure about noodle dishes here. But dumplings are yummy!!!
Anyone who reads my reviews (if that is a thing) knows I tend to lean towards being harsher with my stars. And this place definitely deserves 3.5 stars. Infact I would imagine a lot of people would go as far to say 4/4.5. They would be right if we where comparing this to places in the area that compete for this style of food. However iv been spoiled by Manhattan and the offerings there. While the buns are good her they don't compare with some of the fair within the city and therefore I can only give away 3 stars. However with all that said, this quaint little restaurant is decent. The food is tasty, served quickly and with a large amount of enthusiasm. Everything was as described with the spring roll being the weakest dish at the table. Currently this place is BYOB and there is a shop right next door. So that's super nice and easy. So lastly I should say I would probably go back but only if in the area and not going to the city. 🤷♂️
I had food poisoning after eating here. I had scallion pancake with beef and that’s the only thing I had today without my husband now I’m vomiting and having diarrhea but he is fine. So it think it’s definitely from the food I had here.
We ordered the Szechuan chicken cold dish last night and were surprised to be served a dish primarily covered in peanut sauce, as the menu doesn't mention peanuts at all for this dish. We asked the server who confirmed that this was the correct dish and that peanuts weren't mentioned on the menu. She didn't try to correct this, still charging us for it. We didn't end up eating it but even my partner's duck wasn't great, being dry and lacking in flavor. The soup dumplings were okay, but overall, the experience wasn't worth $60.
Its nit my first time to this restaurant. I ordered dumplings and pork soup and requested for chili oil. The cashier told me that it’s an extra dollar for chili oil. Last time i ordered they gave me two small container of chili oil without even asking. She said “they charged for it and it’s their rule” just disappointed and expecting for dumplings orders comes with chili oil without even asking for it. The food is good just not satisfied with the service. I suggest be more friendly with costumers because we are the one giving you business.
Yeah I will never visit this restaurant again. They aren't very cheap and I ordered two dishes. The first was fine but when I opened the second, I found a roach. When I called back, they wouldn't refund the whole order over the phone. I had to go back and show them. Upon seeing the evidence, they STILL wouldn't refund the whole order, only the contaminated dish. This is terrible customer service. They were not apologetic or anything. It felt like they didn't even believe me. 0 stars
I don't know what is going on with this place but why did they give a half full container for wonton soup with just a stack of wonton skins?! The drunken chicken was also disappointing, it was like they dropped an entire container of salt or it's brined. Called the store to tell about the chicken not being edible unless I was planning to die from a heart attack and they said that's how it's supposed to be. I've ordered this same dish from them about four times and it's never tasted like that. When I asked for a refund on only the chicken they were initially trying to understand the problem unil the owner got on the phone with an attitude and said it's Uber's problem and hung up on me. Called Uber and they said they can't refund because that's how the restaurant prepared it. Will not order from them ever again. I had recommended this place to others before and now I'm embarrassed that I did if this is how their service is going to be going forward. Extremely disappointed.
