The food here at this modest family business is always yummy! I have been coming here for years. I got 3 birria tacos with consumé for $18 and ¡qué rico! Máximo's (the friendly chef) wife makes birria a lil different. I couldn't tell what was the magical ingredient that made a party in my mouth. Lol

My coworker turned me onto this place. I usually get the chicken or beef lunch special. For $12 you get a great amount of chicken/beef, rice, beans, salad, and a can of soda. It always tastes fresh and they’re pretty quick with delivery. Ive also tried the torte and the quesadilla, all great stuff with an authentic spin. If you’re expecting taco bell, this isn’t for you. Be prepared to eat.

Awesome burrito spot not far from 5th avenue. This place makes food that's very authentic and rich in flavor. I ordered the carnitas, tongue and chorizo tacos. It was delicious! Well seasoned and cooked just right. The tacos are not small in size and expect to eat around 3 to get full. Even on a rainy night this hidden gem was packed. I'll definitely be back to sample their other Mexican dishes.

Tiny hole in the wall and great for a quick meal! Got the al pastor and chorizo tacos which were spicy and amazing. I was full after 1.5 tacos and a jarritos!

I ordered the Carne Asada (Grilled Beef) Burrito. You definitely get your money’s worth. As in, you get a whole bunch of the chosen protein, beans, and rice. However, that’s also why I left off one star. There was only beans and rice (and a whole lot of it) in addition to the protein. And I don’t mind when a food is basic and just does what it’s suppose to do, but there was a lot of rice and beans, and the rice and beans were extremely bland. And that was the pain point. The rice was just not it. The steak though was abundant and flavorful!

I had a burrito. It wasn't anything special. Just lots of rice to act as filler. So much do that you barely taste the meat.

Wait time was about 30mins for an enchilada which is very long for takeout on an empty night. Despite the long preparation time, the pork was totally overcooked and dry. It was totally black. The rice and beans were also bland and dry. For $29, small quantity, bad food, and long cooking time, I would not come back. There is a taco truck on 14th street for half the price with much better quality.
