Ilili is a popular spot for authentic Lebanese cuisine with a lively ambiance and beautiful decor. The food is flavorful and high-quality, though it can get noisy and reservations are recommended. Some found it a little overpriced.

Soooo excited to find Kibbeh Nayyeh here - I’ve been craving it for so long! Mezze dishes were delicious and easy to share. French Toast was very creative and fun. Fattoush was fresh and flavorful. Would come back here, especially for the Kibbeh Nayyeh.
I had a fantastic experience at this Lebanese restaurant on 5th Avenue in New York. The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavors and perfectly prepared. The cozy atmosphere made the whole meal even more enjoyable, creating a warm and inviting space to relax. The service was outstanding as well. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great Lebanese cuisine in the city!
Great food and great service. We tried a lot of the food as part of their Journey Platters. The lead waiter was very precise about the food order and managed things perfectly. Definitely a place worth checking out.
As a Lebanese, I have to admit I’m (very) picky when it comes to Lebanese food, as it carries precious memories and traditions. I can truly say that every dish felt authentic and infused with love, reminding me of home in the most beautiful way. My favorites were the tabbouleh, kebbeh and the eggplant chips (modern twist). The sumac margarita was absolutely delicious. The setting is refined and elegant, without feeling pretentious. This is Lebanese cuisine done right in NYC.
If you’re craving real Lebanese food, this is the right place. Also, Fabian is amazing ,very attentive and warm. If you want great food and great service, this is the place to go.Chef’s recommendation!!you won’t regret it!
Already looking forward to my next visit! The Lebanese cuisine was bursting with flavor and beautifully prepared. The grilled octopus and mixed grill are absolute must tries. You can really taste the depth of spices in the beef shish and chicken kebab everything was incredibly fresh. The drinks were crisp and refreshing, rounding out a fantastic meal. Highly recommended!
I just wrapped up the most epic Holiday Luncheon Party from my healthcare staffing company ProMed Staffing Resources at ilili restaurant NOMAD and I'm still buzzing! Jessie Jodet, Private Event Manager extraordinaire, made the whole experience seamless and stress-free. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail are unmatched. We were in good hands! Stepping into ilili felt like a holiday miracle: festive vibes, twinkling lights, and a tree that sparkled like magic. The private room was perfection, accommodating our crew of 30 with ease. But let's talk food… oh, the food! ilili took us on a delicious Lebanese culinary journey. Creamy hummus, mouthwatering fattoush, crunchy falafel... and don't even get me started on the mains (beef and chicken kebab, halibut on squash purée…YUM!). And those crafted cocktails? To. Die. For. The service was top-notch, too. Carlos, our waiter, was attentive and friendly, and Jessica, the manager, stopped by to ensure we were all having a blast. If you're looking to book your next company event, you know what to do. ilili NOMAD is the place to be. Jessie and the team will make sure you and your guests have an unforgettable time.
We received a shipment of food all the way from here to Scottsdale, Arizona — and wow, what an incredible experience! The food was absolutely delicious. Everything arrived uncooked but beautifully prepared, complete with clear, easy-to-follow instructions on how to create the feast. This meal was a thoughtful gift from our colleagues while my wife was hospitalized for over two weeks. At first, I’ll admit I was a bit disappointed that nothing was pre-cooked — but I couldn’t have been more wrong. Once I followed the instructions and prepared the dishes, the results were phenomenal. We felt like we were having a true feast in Lebanon! The appetizers were so fresh and flavorful, and every bite brought back beautiful memories of authentic Lebanese cuisine. My wife, our kids, and I absolutely loved it. It turned out to be one of the most heartwarming, delicious meals we’ve ever had — a true gift in every sense.
The place was really nice. The architecture was really nice and it felt very cool. The food was incredible and I went with my friend and asked for two different plates and shared and it was more than enough. Although this may vary and will depend on how hungry you are. The he prices were fine and the staff extremely kind!
This place is absolutely phenomenal! The hummus, tabbouleh, and kebab kezar were all so flavorful, and the spicy sumac margarita was incredible. The pita bread was warm, soft, and delicious and they even brought out a fresh plate with dinner. Everything was just perfect from start to finish!
One of the best Lebanese restaurants I’ve had! Beautiful presentation and amazing flavors. I’ve tried many Lebanese spots across the US, but this is the only place with a perfect tabbouleh! Fresh, balanced, and authentic. The grape leaves were delicious too, but strangely both dishes weren’t listed on the menu (thankfully we asked the waiter, who was super friendly and helpful). Great vibes, great food, highly recommend!
Came here for Restaurant Week and it’s a perfect choice! $60 dinner with pretty generous portions! The ambiance is gorgeous and mysterious, look at that stunning wall draping from floor to ceiling! Service was good, our server would check in just often enough so we could also thoroughly enjoy the meal and friendly company. The food was so delicious, and the chilled Lebanese wine was very refreshing and really hit the spot on such a humid and musty day. The sommelier who came to our table to describe the flavors/notes was very engaging, helpful, and personable.
We were visiting New York City for the weekend and had heard wonderful things about ILILI. We were blown away by the delicious Mediterranean food they served us. Full of flavor and the quality of the ingredients were exquisite. I recommend getting a reservation if you are planning on going for dinner.
Great looking, lively space with a great bar and plenty of room in the dining rooms, but it gets crowded. Nice wine list, both by the glass at the bar as well as bottles in the dining room with a knowledgeable Somm. Lebanese wines are featured as well as a nice selection of French wines. Large menu and everything our group had was excellent. Tuna tartare and the lamb chops really stood out for me. Nice dessert selection. Happening place right now and it seems for good reason.
My daughters and I enjoyed dinner at Ilili, thanks to a work colleague who mentioned the restaurant. Amber lighting adorned the dining area, giving it a soft and welcoming atmosphere. We arrived at 5 30 pm, and patrons were a mix of businessmen straight from the office and families. Some were dressed in suits and nice dresses while others wore jeans and t-shirts. The dining room had ample seating with round tables surrounded by chairs. There was sidewalk seating as well. The bar was well stocked and vibrant, and the food was excellent. We ordered the hummus and pita, taboulleh, meatballs, watermelon & tomato salad and cashew rice to share. Everything was superb. The hummus was the best I've ever had. It was incredibly smooth. The pita bread was poofed up and fresh from the oven. The taboulleh was a perfect compliment to the hummus. The meatballs were breaded just right, so they were not too dry. They were served with a tasty yogurt dip. The watermelon and tomato salad had red onion and feta and was tossed in a very light dressing. It is a perfectly refreshing summer salad. My daughter had an cucumber lemonade which was cool and refreshing. My other daughter had a Roy Rogers and I opted for mint tea. All were excellent. For dessert, we indulged in the baklava and coffee and were not disappointed. The bathroom had unisex separate stalls with designer sliding doors and a nice sitting area. We will be back.
Here’s a polished and extended version of your review: Exceptional Dining Experience – Flavorful Food, Beautiful Ambiance, and Top-Notch Service. We recently dined at Ilili and had an incredible experience from start to finish. We went all out and ordered a wide range of dishes to get the full experience and it was well worth it! To start, we ordered Kebab Kerez, Fried Kibbeh, Cheese Rolls, Fattoush, Hummus, and Lamb Sausages. The cheese rolls, hummus, and kibbeh were absolute standouts. The cheese rolls came out hot and golden, filled with a generous amount of gooey, flavorful cheese, while the kibbeh was crispy on the outside and packed with perfectly seasoned beef inside. The hummus was velvety smooth and fresh. The lamb sausages, however, were a bit too sour for our preference. And while we appreciated the creativity behind the Kebab Kerez, the cherry sauce made it overly sweet, which didn’t quite work for us. From the mains, the lamb chops absolutely stole the show. Smoky, tender, perfectly charred, and seasoned with just the right kick ; they were so good we reordered them on the spot and even got extras to take home. The Chicken Taouk was another highlight-juicy, flavorful, and paired with a unique and delicious toum that really stood out. The fattoush salad was fresh and well-dressed, a good refreshing contrast to the richness of the meats. For dessert, we tried the Ilili Candy Bar, Knafeh, Basque Cheesecake, and a selection of ice creams. The Candy Barwas a fun and elevated take on a Snickers- rich toffee, chocolate, and crunch all layered perfectly. The Knafeh was beautifully executed, authentic and indulgent, with just the right texture and sweetness. The lemon sorbet didn’t impress us much, it was a little too sharp ; but the mango sorbet was smooth and refreshing. The Basque Cheesecake was also a great finish: rich yet not too heavy. We also ordered all of their non-alcoholic drinks, and they were all refreshing with vibrant flavors. My personal favorite was the one with grapefruit-tart, slightly sweet, and incredibly refreshing. We ended up ordering multiple refills of most of the drinks. The service throughout the evening was excellent-attentive, friendly, and very accommodating. The decor is upscale and stylish. It's also worth noting that many of the meat options are halal, which makes this spot even more appealing for Muslim diners. Overall, Ilili is a fantastic place for family gatherings or group dinners. We'll definitely be returning and recommending it to others!
5 Stars — An Unforgettable Dinner at ilili! Had an absolutely amazing dinner with my family at ilili in Manhattan! From start to finish, everything was a 10 out of 10 — the food, the service, the atmosphere — truly flawless. A special shoutout to our incredible server Chris, and to Ali, who kindly (and hilariously) saved me from confidently walking straight into the employee back room — I was so sure that door led to the bathroom. Thank you both for making the night even more memorable! We ordered a delicious spread: the kibbeh, hummus, baba ghanouj, fresh warm bread, cheese rakakat, and the mixed grill plate — everything was bursting with flavor. Don’t skip the kibbeh nayyeh or the array of toum options — they’re next level. Highly recommend ilili for anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience with unforgettable Lebanese flavors and warm, attentive service. Will definitely be back!

Overall 4/5 Food 3.75/5 Ambiance 5/5 Service 5/5 Value 2.5/5 Ilili, Lebanese sharing dishes in a fine dining lens I was really excited to try Ilili since my husband has been raving about it. There were definitely some hits, but also quite a few misses for us and overall, portions were very small. We ordered 10 dishes for 6 people and still left hungry, so I’d describe this as more of a Lebanese fine-dining experience rather than family-style. Here’s what we tried: Rkaykat bil jibneh 4.5/5: The standout appetizer of the night. The cheese pastry roll was flaky, savory, and delicious Moussaka 3/5: My first time having Lebanese moussaka, I didn’t realize it’s served cold, and personally, it just wasn’t to my taste preference Beef fried kibbeh 3/5: A bit dry for my taste and didn’t quite hit the mark Baba ghannou 2.75/5: Not a fan of this hummus, the smoky flavor was too strong for me Mixed grill 4.5/5: The meats were tender and well-cooked, but again, portions were much smaller than expected Hearth-baked loup de mer 4.75/5: Loved this, almost boneless and beautifully cooked with great flavor even without the sauce Phoenician fries 5/5: Some of the best fries I’ve ever had! We loved them so much we ordered a second round Kebab kerez 3.25/5: The sauce was too sweet and overpowering for my liking Tuna tartare 3/5: Pretty underwhelming and not very flavorful. Overall: beautiful restaurant, creative menu, but expect small portions
I recently dined at ilili NoMad and had a really enjoyable experience! Food: The dishes were flavorful and beautifully presented. I especially loved the mezze platter, which had a great variety of tastes and textures. The flavors were authentic and satisfying. Service: The service was attentive and friendly, though a bit slow at times. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, which helped us make great choices. Atmosphere: The restaurant boasts a stylish and inviting ambiance, perfect for a nice dinner or special occasion. The decor adds to the overall experience. Overall, ilili NoMad is definitely worth checking out for anyone looking for delicious Mediterranean cuisine in a lovely setting. I look forward to returning!
I visited this place for the second time, but it didn’t quite live up to my high expectations. While I still enjoyed the chicken duo, pita, and falafel, the dips - baba ghannouj and mouhamara were a major letdown. Mouhamara was too dry, and the other was bit okay. The fries were also disappointing - soggy and not well-cooked. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience didn’t match the exceptional quality of my first visit.
We went during restaurant week. The vibe was great, and the food overall was nice. We weren’t a huge fan of lamb and I didn’t really enjoy the entrees, but the appetizers were amazing (especially the eggplant). The dessert cheesecake had a strong cheese flavor, which I liked, but the mouhalabiyyeh was just okay
Overall, I would come back. We went for a drink and a few plates to share ahead of a show and it was very tasty. The menu had a lot of good options to choose from but I really enjoyed the falafel and meatball dish. The drinks are very good as well. Our service was okay but our server was very annoyed with us I think. He tried to sell more items (not a problem, that’s his job) but when we politely declined he rolled his eyes. Since we were not very hungry, we only ordered a few plates despite being a party of five. Totally get it, for a 5-top we should have had a higher bill but we were also in and out in under 45 minutes. He was rude and made us uncomfortable. The food was delicious though and I would probably come back for a special occasion (as long as we had a different server). It’s super busy on the weekend so be sure to get a reservation.

The beef shawarma had a single piece of hard fat that was too large to be eaten. The meat was overcooked and dry. The manager said that it was normal for fat to come out because the meat and fat were cooked at the same time. The other dishes were also mediocre in taste, but the service was good. I gave 3 stars instead of 1 because the manager did not charge for dessert.
