This location along Van Ness Avenue in SF. has been here for many years. Well maintained, clean tables, very fresh salad bar, friendly employees, plenty of seating, delicious food.
I was pretty satisfied with our food. Almost everything was prepared and cooked properly, a little pricey, whilst still being worth it. If you're looking for a nice spot to eat out at, this is the spot.
The pizza was delicious, Italian sausage, mushrooms, white sauce, light bake. Yummy

This location is clean with wonderful food and staff. The pizza was hot and prepared in the usual quality way of Round Table restaurants. Area is a bit sketchy later in the night, however delivery is available. Enjoy!
Haven't had Roundtable this good in a long long time. Head and shoulders the best quality roundtable in SF. Pizza was well cooked and generously garnished. Staff Sara and Russell were friendly and welcoming.

Well I actually did not go in so I was limited to what I answer too. So. I wish I had more information, I only order the pizzas over the phone. If you trying to save money, this is not the place for saving. Probably just my opinion the best pizza hands down.
I ordered online, and liked the convenient service. The delivery guy came 10 mins before. I gave him tips; he's s nice and friendly person. I asked what his name was and he told me but I forgot. I only remember that he drives a cool Ford bronco.
Round Table was the first pizza place I had when I first moved to SF, CA. I consider myself somewhat of a pizza connoisseur (I can make a pizza from scratch ). Even though my wonderfully gorgeous wife enjoys my pizza the best, her choice as well as mine, will be Roundtable Pizza. The guys that work there are just great with wonderful senses of humor. Go have some great pizza. And tell 'em Bud sent ya. BON APPETIT!

I always go in for the lunch special and convert it to a combination. Personal size with a salad bar and a drink for under 22 bucks now their lunch special is limited to a time frame so remember that good pizza good personal size combination is the best for me.

Visited 12/27/23. Our experience was awesome! It was raining when we arrived. The person at the front welcomed us in and offered a place to put our wet outerwear. We were able to get set, peruse menus at our table, and then order. The restaurant was clean. The food was absolutely delicious. We had pizzas and salad bar. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Nice people, very tasty pizza, free refills, friendly atmosphere, comfy seating. We really really enjoyed it there, there are lots of other shady places nearby where you do not even want to enter. Not this one, this one is a definitive recommendation :-)
One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! Ordered from our hotel and was delivered to the door with no problems. No complaints and very tasty! Will definitely buy again when back in town.
Round table pizza was very important for my halloween costume in 2012 because I wanted to be a Knight of the round table. The pizza was pretty good too. It's easy to get to on Van Ness.
I love the pizza in its my very favorite. It may be a little bit expensive but that can be avoided if you take advantage of their Monday madness special for all pizzas are 40% off.
“Personal pizza” size is too small for an adult male (could probably eat 2-3)

Great tasting pizza at an affordable price on vanish street in San Francisco. This restaurant is conveniently located near Polk street and all the trendy bars. Very easy to go up and grab a bite of pizza by the slice .

The food is great but the customer service is what made me not give them the 5 stars. I understand some rules but if I'm putting in the pin of my card I shouldn't have to show you my ID then to top it off act like I don't got the money to pay for it. Man I pulled out my cash and paid for it and told the cashier to keep the change because it was nothing to me now if he would have let me use my card and been nicer I would have gave him a bigger tip but since he didn't and then to top it off acted like I didn't have the money....man he got like .37 cents as a tip..but didn't even tell me which deals they had until I asked... if I wouldn't have asked I would have paid way more and especially since he knew that they had a special for what I wanted to get..Thats the first thing he should have offered
Round Table Pizza is my go-to pizza spot in San Francisco, CA. They are very punctual with their orders and never keep me waiting. They always are nice and courteous to me when I pick up an order. They have so many options to choose from which is great.
Round Table is a nice pizza place. It isn't bad at all. It was actually really good. I'm not Gordon Ramsay, but the pizza was awesome. 10/10 would go there again.

I called twice for a delivery and the staff was rude and inpatient while I was confirming my order and giving my card information. It's hard to want to stay because there are so many people hanging around there.
Not my go-to pizza place to begin with and this one is in a rough part of town. It only reminded me that I just dont like round tables food. The dough is spongy the sauce is bland toppings were uninspired. Of the pizza chains this one is my least favorite and the most expensive. Will be awhile before I bother eating Round Table again. I don't like this place. Always a commercial airing on TV. And always a new style of pizza to try...like the criss crossed crust topping pizza. Always a new fad just to sell a pie. But the pizza here is mediocre at best. I used to live right next to one of these and I just couldn't get myself to like it. All of the locations, including this one are always run down.
The pizza is good for the most part, but... The staff is incompetent. Nobody looks like they want to work there. They consistently mess up your orders. There is constantly homeless people around the area, and a few times they've actually come in and harassed customers. The staff did nothing, customers are left to fend on their own. You're better off getting pizza from a local place.
Telephone operators are very rude. They tried to overcharge you and you’ve been eating there for a whole 2 to 3 years and I gotta understand the prices go up, but not like this.
The pizza is great but I ordered the sir lancelot and it's no different from a regular pepperoni pizza but cost more. I'm not sure if they gave me the wrong pizza or its just false advertisement either way is wrong. The pizza is meant to be over loaded with pepperoni, it's not. It's a single one topping pepperoni pizza not even double pepperoni. I'll be calling and asking for the difference in price back. Edit: Forgot to update after I called them. Turns out the pizza is simply just a double pepperoni pizza but they give it a fancy name and change more just because of the name. I added one star only because the employee that I talked to on the phone was very nice. Don't buy this pizza!
The customer service isn't very good and they were not helpful when we had questions about the menu. They didn't have any beer, the salad bar wasn't very fresh and none of the arcade games worked. Along with all of this, the establishment was notnverly clean. I was really not impressed at all. I used to be a Round table employee and I expect much better than this!

Earlier today like around 10:20am I ordered one large pepperoni, Italian sausage and olives perfect order but the second order was the garlic chicken and I make sure it was. I have chicken on here, but it didn’t have chicken on there? I had a whole combination and I do not eat onions. And I talk to the manager I didn’t like his attitude he could’ve said you know what Sirr let me go ahead we make your order, but I will never order again it was for delivery. it is crazy during the Christmas season. He need to work on his customer service.
Delivery was 30 minutes later than they quoted (70 minutes from online order to in hand). They use a bottled ranch sauce for wings, unlike other locations in the Bay Area, which tastes awful in comparison. Very expensive for what it is and just generally disappointing. Corporate needs to check in on this site because it's way below expectations.
I moved to the Bay Area 2 weeks ago and since then I’ve visited this location 8 times. Called in an order at 9:30pm on Friday night. (1.5 hours before closing) Showed up and it was chaos in the kitchen. They seemed to be bickering about something. Then, the Hispanic male that takes the orders approached the counter. He didn’t say hello and he acted as if I was not wanted there. He asked if I was eating there or taking it. I told him I’d be eating there. He then told he the dining room closes at 10pm. I told him that I’d be quick. I explained that I called in an order and then paid for my order. I asked for the bathroom key to wash my hands and he said the bathrooms were closed. I insisted and he gave me the key. I came out and sat down. Then. He sort of tosses the pizza on the counter and calls my name. Every time I’ve been there, someone has brought the pizza to my table. I get up to get my pizza and they are now arguing in the kitchen. Then, I sit down to enjoy my pizza and an Asian man (employee) burst through the door yelling at the other employees and throwing a temper tantrum because they made the pizza he was supposed to deliver wrong. I was so uncomfortable. At 9:59, I got up and approached the counter for a to go box. The guy gave it to me and told me I need to leave soon. I told him I was leaving now and I made a comment about how grumpy they all were today. He just walked away and ignored me. I was so happy to have found this location, but I will not be returning. I don’t pay $36 for a pizza to be treated rudely by the employees.
Well the last time I went there it was not very good. my pizza was burnt (cheese) chicken wings had hella BBQ sauce to cover up burnt chicken wings .just not the best for the price . Dayum RTP RIP for me .

Ordered the new "Reign of Fire" sauce on my pizza and it tasted like tobasco mixed with normal tomato sauce. I personally disliked it, and it ended up making me sick for 24+ hours. I called in and they said there was "nothing they could do". I spent $45 on food that tasted terrible and made me sick...how is there nothing to be done?
Went in to buy a pizza, but had to use the restroom first. Guy told me I had to buy first, then use the restroom. I thought we were living in the US not a third world country. So I left. Very rude guy.
This place has horrible customer service. I tried to place an order on 9/6/2018 at 9:45pm and the rep (later said he was the manager) told me that the store was closed and he could not take a delivery order. He had a very nasty disposition. He mentioned that he sent his driver home early because there were no orders. The website clearly state the restaurant closes at 1030pm. Very, very, very, bad business ethics! Roundtable should consider changing their business hours.
The people at this specific Round Table was very rude to me for no reason at all. I just called today to order a chicken club and the man who answered the phone had a very nasty attitude. I ended up just telling him that I didn't want anything because he was so mean to me. I'm going to make a complaint to there HR department about this issue. I hope that they get it together and fix their attitudes.
We ordered extra sauce and the pizzas were extra dry. When I called the lady she said we should have ordered “extra extra sauce.” I told her we always order “extra sauce” and not “extra extra sauce” and it comes out fine. Lady with Spanish accent was unhelpful and confused. We are not ordering from this Van Ness location ever!
Terrible customer service! Will never order or pay money st this establishment. My pizza arrived an hour and a half later and was cold. The delivery person kept trying to tell him it was cold but he let saying it was warm. The box was even cold! Rudest customer service when I called because they burnt one part of my order. I just wanted to see if there was any way it could be replaced and the girl began to argue that “it’s made that way” which it isn’t because I’ve ordered that item many times. While the cashier was very helpful and nice and patient her name was ana T. Her coworker was very rude and said something very offensive. One of the worst pizza place. I ordered my pizza on 3/4/2015 for 3/5/2015 pickup. I pay with my credit card online because I cannot pick the pizza up. Instead one of my co-worker went there to pick up the pizza. The girl working there "KIM" (name on the receipt) told my co-worker that the pizza has not been pay yet. Therefore, my co-worker pay for the pizza (pay partial with cash and the rest on his credit card). Then, my co-worker told me that he pay for the pizza and that the girl did not charge my credit card because it has not been pay. When I called the store to confirm, they say they have canceled my credit card and it will be in pending state for couple days. Couple days later, I checked my credit card statement, the charge went through. I called them again, they told me they cannot find anything and they will call me back. After two days, they never called me. I call them again and they say the owner of the store is not in and they will leave a note for the owner to call me. Once again, I did not get any calls. I call them once again and they say to call in the morning. After at least 5 times of trying to reach the owner of the place, I finally got through him today on 3/17/2015. Of course the attitude of the owner was @#$@#% and they cannot view the transaction online and nothing they can do about it. Then they told me that they reversed the credit card charge on my co-worker and the partial cash is in-store ready for us to pick it up. Service like this is piece of !@#!@$. Side Note: When I finally talk with the owner of the store(3/17/2015), I was going to gather some information and I told him if I can call him back in 5 minute because I need my co-worker information. He told me "Im leaving in less than 5 minutes, call me tomorrow". What kind of service is this? Fix the problem before you go home. Not drag the problem until the customer forget about it.

The woman who works at this place should not be in customer service whatsoever. I was placing a large pizza order for my office, over $3k, through ezCater and I had questions about the quantities and number of slices per pie. The woman was so condescending and argumentative, telling me to “figure it out” before hanging up on me. I reluctantly placed the order anyway. Then the day before the order, I noticed ezCater had the time listed incorrectly. I messaged ezCater but also called the restaurant to ensure they adjusted the time. Same angry woman again starts YELLING at me, telling me she won’t listen to anything I say, will only deliver based on her paperwork, and to figure it out with ezCater. I pleaded to please change the time since I’m the customer who placed the order and she only got angrier and more defiant. I should've cancelled the whole order then but didn’t want to deal with placing another order elsewhere. The pizza was pretty good. But that woman’s got to go.
The manager here is misogynistic and exceptionally rude. He threatened to call the cops on a peaceful group that spent over $70 on pizza over a soda refill. Was disrespecting paying women customers by yelling at them when they asked for a refund on disgusting watery soda. Please save yourself the experience of dealing with this terrible service and don't go here
I am really a big fan of Round Table Pizza and this place has turned into a real disappointment over the years. I came in with my daughter on Saturday night and this place has taken a turn for the worst. The people were rude and the place was dirty. I gave them 1 star only because zero wasn’t available for me. I don’t know what has happened maybe it was ownership but the quality of the place is horrible and to make matters worse me and my child had a loss of appetite due to the cockroaches. 😡 Someone needs to do something immediately!
Our pizza was terrible, the place was dirty, and the service was rude. Worst of all, a woman came in with a small child who needed to use the restroom while she waited in line to pay, and the staff refused to let her go until her mother paid. Incredible! They actually yelled at the woman when she tried to help her child to the restroom. I’ll never go there again.
This Round Table Pizza is the worst I ever used. The worker "Diego" was taking phone order told me to hurry up it had been 15 min. he was on line with me. I was on my cell and I looked it was 4 min. which 1 min. he had put me on hold. I had ordered $104.00 worth of food 1)King Arthur Supreme XL 2) Half Cheese & Half pepperoni and olive XL 3) 12 hot wings 4) Garlic twisty bread 6piece 5) Garden Salad They Charged my card & Never delivered. I called back & they say they have no record, Diego is not there and theres NO Manager. I got ripped of or they are pulling a Scam. I will be going into store tomorrow with copy of my Bank Statement

Refused delivery to my address in downtown even though another Round Table Pizza location guaranteed they could deliver to my address. Was told by another location that they knew the owner for this location & service to my location would be honored. I was told that because my address was “downtown” that they did not deliver. Was not even 3 miles away.
Now why in God's name would you literally scream at me for trying to get a delivery lol.....you confirmed a name, not an address and effing SCREAMED about the address when I was nothing but polite because I've been going to this location for years. Yall were also rude af when me and a friend dined in not long ago and it was nowhere near closing so there was no need for it. Never good when delivered from vaness.i ordered a large pepperoni. I needed to use the restroom but I felt uncomfortable using it without buying something. So I bought a Pepsi, and the employee told me it's only for costumers who pay at least 7$. So rude, and the reviews here confirm it is a problematic place.
Be very careful. When you pay, the collector on duty at night is a scammer. He charged my order with my debit card and then told me your payment was denied. At that same moment, I called my bank. And indeed, the guy did charge my order. The bank's customer service told me so. I was in the store, and the guy who helped me said no! No, my card didn't go through... that's scamming. He charged me and didn't deliver my order. Be careful, my people. If something happens to you, call your bank or check your bank account... this is shameless. They scammed me right to my face... I reported it to the bank.
Sooo, it’s really hard to get me upset when it comes to customer service because I did retail management for 10 years. I am usually very understanding. We picked this place even though reviews are really bad, just because we deal with customers and we know people love to complain but never congratulate. Jesus Christ! I wish we’ve listened. The front desk lady is super rude, we tried to order a family salad, she said the menu was wrong and that they only make individual salads and we can’t share, my coworkers asked if the prices were right in the menu since now we knew is not up date, she responded... it might be wrong too. About how the pizza tasted, I don’t even care... customer services means EVERYTHING to me. She was not having it.
Russell C. SHOULD NOT answer the phones NOR work the counter. My company orders OFTEN front this location as our executives visit the property frequently. THATS DEFINITELY going to stop. He advised it would be cheaper to order online. Told me to call back if needed. When I called beck and as he began the order he told me to hold. He then came back to tell me no delivery is over. When I asked how at that time and why didn't he say that before telling me to look at website. He said they are closing early for "holy" days. Today is TUESDAY! When I said I'd be contacting corporate to find out if it's normal practice he then said ok they'll deliver but to make sure I'm outside because he's telling his driver to leave if not. When explained his tone and customer service was coming across hostile he responded saying he didn't care and not to say that to him. He told me since I was calling corporate he was calling them too. I asked for a name and he hung up. I ended up going to the store to our surprise he said they were closing early at 10pm well also to our surprise it was after 10 and they WERE STILL OPEN! His attitude was better in person tho which I'm happy for because I wanted so badly to slap the attitude right out of him. For me as a person in leadership of a company, customer service SHOULD BE OF A HIGH LEVEL OF IMPORTANCE. . .him being the face of that store gives a really bad look for it. Charged $1 for a Bag? Unacceptable for a Restaurant!* I was shocked when I asked for a paper or plastic bag at Round Table Pizza, and the employee told me she would charge me **$1 extra**. This isn’t a corner store—it’s a restaurant, and providing a bag for takeout orders should be standard, not an upsell. When I questioned it, she refused and insisted on charging me. Since when do pizza restaurants nickel-and-dime customers for basic packaging? If this is a new policy, it’s a terrible one. If it was just this employee being difficult, management needs to address it. Either way, I won’t be returning unless this changes.
The food was good service was bad. To be honest with you I’m pretty sure that my interaction was racially motivated, I was accused of stealing and then they weren’t trying to give me my pizza it was a bad experience. I never go to there anymore there’s a better place across the street.
My son and I were in town for a concert and afterward, we decided to grab a quick bite. We noticed this Round Table Pizza location open and I called 24 minutes prior to closing time. I understood that, given the late hour, I might encounter someone rushed on the phone, but instead, I was met with attitude from a snarky woman. I was told I would have to pick up the pizza in 10 minutes because they were closing, which was fine with me. We then rushed over. However, upon arriving no more than 10 minutes later, it became clear that the employee hadn't even placed my order. She seemed annoyed then fumbled with the computer, though the restaurant appeared nearly empty. She then informed me it would be another 10 minutes. I reminded her that she had initially told me to pick it up within 10 minutes, but she ignored me and instead spoke to the cook, who then rushed to the back to start making our pizza. I asked her why she had rushed me if they weren't going to make the pizza until I arrived. She responded rudely, saying, "People always call late and never pick up." At that point, I felt she was simply bothered by our "late" order and had been dismissive from the start. I asked for a refund before the cook could even begin preparing the pizza. As she processed the refund, she muttered, "I don't care," clearly demonstrating her indifference. It's a shame that our excitement for some classic Round Table pizza was crushed by such a rude and inconsiderate employee. Luckily, the Korean restaurant across the street saved the night. Great customer service and awesome food. Avoid the Round Table at this location or be prepared to encounter this female employee.
I wish i can give this place 0 stars lets first start by me callin them tellin them i want a med combination pizza the lady said 45mins to a hour they arrived in like 30min with a pizza thats not done as you can see the dough is still white in not done… so i called bck he told me he cant give me my money bck but he can give me another pizza im tellin him i dont want another pizza the first pizza was not done at all so he start tellin me he can bring me another pizza in i can jus return the 1 thats not done im thinkin in my head for 1 its covid so why would you want a not cooked pizza bck that jus came outta my house but anywho i repeat do not come to this place the workers are hella rude in they forgot my ranch in forgot to cook the pizza bad customer service i should have jus went to san bruno ave in got my pizza but didnt feel like driving…as im reading the reviews i see some one chicken is not done so its not only me somebody is go get sick so if you thinkin this place dont do it plz…in round tables if yall want this review took down give me bck my $35 now goodbye
Like how are you gonna make me pay for wings that I won’t eat if they are not cooked right 🥺I asked 🤦🏻♀️ Kindly for my wings to be extra crispy and When I came in they were not extra done I asked him to put them in the oven he proceeded to tell me that they are done and went to the back may be placed my wings to the side and did not throw them in the oven and came back and gave them to me and they still were damn near raw so irritating
