Went to Outback for the first time... I know I know we don't get out much. We had incredible food an amazing server and a great time. They are following thru with requirements very well and I look forward to coming back. 10 stars from us.

I took my wife out to dinner. Normally we would go to one of the local steakhouse downtown Grand Rapids.MI. For whatever reason my wife said let's do Outback. I said you joking right SS no Outback is where we are going. As normal she made the right choice. OMG, the food and service was amazing. My steak was seasoned to perfection. The place was clean and my waiter was on the ball. I will definitely come back again. Great job team outback on alpine avenue.

I got the 9 oz fillet with lobster tail, Sweet potato, french onion soup, and a blooming onion. My steak came out perfect medium, tender, and seasoned perfectly no steak sauce needed. The lobster was sweet and delicious. The sweet potato was soft and creamy with the butter and brown sugar mixed in. The soup was standard but very filling. The blooming onion I had was crispy however it had a slight burnt taste to it. The service was amazing, but I came in after lunch during a slow period. Music is not too loud nor offending. The room was a tad chilly but not bad. I definitely recommend this location.

I stayed at Suite 2 Home by Hilton and ordered a steak, sweet potato, broccoli and for later a salad. I also ordered sweet tea. It came with a large bag of ice. The packaging was sturdy and I was surprised the steak was still warm and not over cooked at all. I ask for MR and it arrived MR. They know they are doing. The mushrooms and onions both came in separate containers. It includes rye bread and butters for the bread and potato. 10/10. Will order this again.

We came here for our anniversary on a weeknight. The server was attentive but not too interruptive. The food was BEYOND AMAZING...from the french onion soup, to the steaks, to the cheese cake. The steak was probably one of best I've ever had. The manager came by and asked how we liked everything and when we told him everything was AMAZING & that we came to celebrate our anniversary he added in a complimentary dessert!

Outback is my and the wife's favorite date night spot. Never need to wait too long, and it doesn't matter if you are getting ribs or a steak. It is always good! Plus it's a bonus because it is always around $100 with drinks and apps.

Stephanie gave service that exceeds expectations. She immediately made such a personal connection with each of my family members. She was very attentive to all of our needs, giving us the most exceptional service ever received. I have visited this place many times and I always have a good experience. My food is always great! I love the bread they bring out before the meal! I typically get a steak and it's always cooked correctly. The wait staff always does a great job. The pricing is accurate for the experience and good quality. I would highly recommend someone to visit this place if they are looking for a good steak!

We always love outback! It’s where my husband and I met (worked together there about 14 years ago!) excellent service at this one, and the food was on point! Idk the bar tenders name today, but she was super energetic and kind serving us a drink as we waited for our table. Diana L was our server and she was very attentive and efficient. Out apps came out and we waited to order. Soup was next, right on time, and the entrees came out at the perfect time as well. Byron runs a great crew here! Thanks again to Diana for being such a great waitress :)

Service was amazing, our servor was so nice and prompt. My steak was perfectly medium rare and the blooming onion was delicious.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat for lunch. Our steaks and chicken were prepared perfectly to our liking. Vegetables and sweet potatoes were also prepared properly, not mushy and overcooked. The separate gluten-free menu made it easy to find selections that would work with our dietary requirements. The waitress was kind and also helped us select foods that wouldn't cause allergic reactions. Our lunch visit was not too busy and we were able to be immediately seated. I had issues with the food at other Outback restaurants but never at this location. I was very happy with our visit.

Service was outstanding. The food I ordered was mediocre. Atmosphere was pleasant. Kinda loud, but I thinks the booths are too close. I felt like my head was going to hit the head of the person sitting behind me. I will still eat here if in the area again. Food is not expensive at all and they have a large variety on their menu. They have a convenient way to pay at your table. My Mother was extremely chatty that day so we stayed at our table Longer than usual and no one had a problem with that. No one rushed us. Our server actually asked us if we wanted some extra drinks even though we had paid our bill; which I thought was nice of her to ask.

1st trip to an outback steakhouse. Ashley was our server and she was marvelous. Thoroughly explained menu items with the enthusiasm of a truly loyal team member. She made the experience worth taking the time to review. She laughed at my cheesy jokes and made us laugh. She was honest and I believed what she said was what she believed. Will probably never be in the area again but would return if I ever was. P.S. please let her know I've never actually been to prison.

We got food delivered through Door Dash, and it was just as good. This is a perfect outback location. They do everything amazing.

It was a satisfying dining experience with well-seasoned steaks and a laid-back, rustic atmosphere. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was pretty good. The Bloomin’ Onion is a must-try, though prices can be a bit high for a chain. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a hearty meal.

We had a little hiccup today as my husband’s meal came out after the rest of us were done eating. The manager comped our whole meal. What a stand up man. Thank you sir we really appreciated your kindness.

Staff is always nice! If you have to wait it's not long and they have a bar you can sit at if you want. Steaks are always cooked to perfection, the ribs are amazing! My wife loves the 2 lobster tails, they are cooked well with good flavor. The atmosphere is fairly quiet even when they are busy. Overal,l good people, good food, and it doesn't break the bank.

Our recent dining experience at Outback Steakhouse was delightful! The prime rib sandwhich and fries  was a satisfying dish, featuring tender, slow-roasted prime rib slices nestled on a toasted baguette, topped with perfectly grilled onions, mushrooms, and provolone cheese1. The flavors were rich and complex, melting beautifully with each bite.my colleage had the salmon with toowoomba shrimp. The salmon was cooked well, was moust and topped with sautéed shrimp and mushrooms in a creamy sauce The food had a nice presentation. We apprecited the friendly staff who were attentive and prompt. The atmosphere is quiet and welcoming. We liked the attention to detail and quality of the food.

I always come here when I’m here for work. The food is always what you’d expect from a large chain. It’s always good but there is nothing to wow you. I like to do curbside pickup because the timing and service is always spot on. I switch it up between the filet and the porterhouse chop. Both always fill me up and taste pretty good. I’d recommend it for a consistently safe meal for someone who doesn’t want to be shocked with unexpected flavors.

Our group was comprised of five adults and one infant. They did have a sling to place the car seat into. The blooming onion was delicious! I was told that the salmon was cooked perfectly, and so were the steakes that were ordered. We also ordered an ice cream sunday and raspberry cheesecake, both tasted fantastic.

Outback steakhouse provides a great selection of food in an Australian setting. The food was fantastic and the staff was very helpful with my bit allergy. The only reason it's a 4 is because we heard different answers from different employees on what we could and couldn't eat, but it was all good in the end.

The waitress was phenomenal, she was top notch! She made the whole night worth going. Outback you need to take notice, her name is KRISTÍNA S. She must love her job, because we wanted for nothing, she was so helpful from the minute we arrived! We were a party of 7 on a Sunday at 4pm and she handled it like a pro! It was my first time at Outback Steakhouse and I enjoyed it, I will definitely be returning!

The main course was delicious. I got the Bloomin' Chicken, it was tender and flavorful. The Bloomin' onion was what one has come to expect, and had I been closer to it, I probably would eaten half of it. The family knows where to put it lol The service was a little lackluster. We waited for refills several times. It seemed like our server was very distracted. Life happens sometimes, but it is important to pay attention when one is working. It wasn't until after the tabs were settled that the server remembered that three at the table had selected from the "3 course meal" option and we were waiting for cheesecake. The building itself was chilly. I normally run warm, I'm the type to check the mail without a coat in February. I kept my coat on during our meal. TL;DR - Food was tasty, but the service and building were cold.

I took my fiance there yesterday which was November 24th 2025. It was for his birthday. We ordered our food and the food was good I had to use the restroom so on my way back I noticed a real foul sewage smell and the restaurant. It made me really really sick to my stomach. I addressed it to the server and she said she would bring it to the manager's attention. The manager did come over she did not say one word about the sewage smell. I had to bring it to her attention and she acted like it was no big deal. Probably can't really smell the smell because of all the cooking going on. Or being in the restaurant for so long you just don't smell it. It was a bad experience and needless to say after we left I threw up my food because I couldn't get the smell out of my nose. We visited with a large party. Service was very prompt at this location and we were seated quickly. The 8 ounce Prime Rib I ordered had too much gristle and was difficult to cut. I've been to Outback a zillion times, it's about as average as you can get for a steakhouse.

Everything was great till we got our food and then our waitress disappeared, I had no A1 sauce, steak was undercooked, then my spouses plate, ordered a chicken sandwich, (thin patty) but no tomato was served and spicy pickles on sandwich and on side, after asked for them to be on side.... But our waitress came like 15mins later, by then I just wanted to go home, 😞 it was 2 meals that fell short, kind of sad

The service was great! Ashley was very attentive and interactive, and the team worked together to get our food out and keep our drinks full. The food was decent, but unfortunately, pretty bland. The steak and chicken both need salt to bring them up to par. The restaurant itself was fairly clean and tidy, but the men's bathroom was quite the disappointment. The floors were sticky, the soap and towel dispensers were out or running out, and the lone urinal was out in the open with no side coverage at all. The bathroom door opens in, and they have not installed a foot pull for contactless opening once your hands are clean.

My husband & I were pretty much forgotten about. We were served our alcoholic beverage before our waters. Took 20 minutes before anyone even checked on us after that & we were seated at a table directly in the middle of everyone else around us being served. Fortunately after we finally got our water & our order was taken, food came out fairly quickly & was very good. It was just disappointing to be overlooked.

My husband and I have always loved outback but valentines dinner was not the best. We had reservations and got seated on time but we got seated at a tiny wobbly round table that usually is not in the restaurant. My husband had to tighten the table and put something under the legs to make it more stable. There was a black table cloth on the table that was so long it got wrapped around our legs. The table was so tiny that we could not even fit our waters, bread and appetizer. Both men and women's bathrooms were gross. Men's urinal was out of order and overflowing onto the floor with urine with used toilet paper on the floors and it smelled awful. In the womens bathroom one toilet was completely clogged, the other had a broken seat and the other had bloody toilet paper on the floor. With all that said - our food was still delicious and our waiter (Derek) was great. As much as we loved spending time together at outback, I dont see us going back again.

The Hooley Dooley Coconut Shrimp were actually jumbo. However, they changed up the Entree Salad from the Steakhouse Salad to the Sydney Salad, definitely not the same. Also, do not be fooled, if you order "All Shrimp" on the Queensland Chicken and Shrimp Pasta, they just take off the chicken and charge you the same. The Blooming Onion was a little soggy. The food tasted decent but overall disappointing. 🫤

There were many, many empty tables. We were told the wait was 30 minutes. The manager would jump in and help sit a couple tables from time to time. The 2 hostesses stood talking to each other. One cleaned one table. Once we finally got a table which had been empty the whole time we waited (20 minutes) the server did a nice job. We sat back by the restrooms. The staff walked in and out the side door continously! It was cold out. We were very cold at our table! Everytime a staff member opened the side door, the cold air came in. I have no idea why everyone was walking in and out the side door. Perhaps they could clean tables rather than walk in and out! The food was fine. The server did her job. The hostesses need to work rather than stand and talk to each other. Someone needs to learn how to clear, clean, and re-sit tables. The side door situation needs to be figured out before winter comes and the weather gets really cold. It's been years since I've been to Outback. After this visit, it may be a few more before my next.

I'm disappointed, frankly. Always have loved Outback, but this was a bad performance. Asked for a medium steak, was darker than my black shirt. Blooming onions weren't at bloom, just a mushy bog. My brother asked for a fruit cup... had bits of chocolate in it. Got it sent back, only to have what? More chocolate. That is really bad cross contamination. I would not recommend people with allergies to come here, I'd frankly be scared they may need an ambulance.

Our waiter Micheal seemed a bit flighty, started with drinks wasn’t sure which drink was who’s then I ordered the tenderloin got a sirloin I want to say I was charged for the sirloin I would have given a better rating on food had I received what I ordered and the steak wasn’t undercooked the baked potato was undercooked as well. the Cesar salad was very salty couldn’t finish it we have not been to a outback in years we even drove an hour to go, now I know why our outback closed, won’t be back

This is all personal opinion, if you like steak and you are rich, you can try it for yourself. The food has small portion, the picture shows the lunch special which is 12 dollars. If that is normal for a steakhouse, great, I guess I am ignorant and won't go to steakhouse anymore. I ordered the steak medium well, and I think it got overcooked, you can kind of tell by the color. The flavor overall was a bit too salty, again it's my personal opinion. Everything else is pretty on par.

Here is your $10.99 inflation lunch at outback. The food was meh. Not great, not terrible. This picture is the exact definition of why we do not go out to eat anymore. The portion size is absolutely hilarious. I cannot believe I had to pay almost 11 dollars for this sad attempt at a meal. I swear, the restaurants now days(not just outback) seem to just throw everything in a deep fryer or microwave. I could have literally done 150% better at home. I miss the good old days when food was good, plentiful, and cheap. Sigh....

I was visiting my daughter out in Grand Rapids and they forgot our steak. There was no one in the pick up area. I proceeded to the bar area where I was completely 110% ignored.

steak was undercooked for my little joeys kids meals and I wasted time and money and they wouldn't eat it. The bloomin onion was also undercooked.

We have eaten at many outback restaurants but this was the worst, no prime rib except well done and my rib eye was un eatable because of the seasons

Curbside.... 17$ burger.... Burger King looks better and at least you know what your getting

Very rude and racist host. Didn’t want to let us in. The place was almost empty with a few tables of white folks, and he said they didn’t have anything available and not in a nice way, the attitude was awful.

My husband ordered filet medium rare and lobster. His filet was more rare and the lobster was tough. He did not want to complain. Instead he ate fries and brought the steak home for the dog. We have not been to Outback in years and will not be back.
