Living and working in the area means lots of places to try, but this is my favorite burger spot, even if I usually order a chicken sammy.

Had a great experience at this Shake Shack yesterday on the way home from Tahoe. This is a very convenient location with easy parking in front. Adriana and her crew were very helpful, and they provided excellent customer service.

We went and were pleasantly surprised the food was great and the service was even better Christina brought our food out and was the super friendly and made our stop at shake shack even better. Highly recommend for the food and service.

The hype is real! Honestly, so many people have said this place was the BEST, but I didn't want my expectations too high and then be let down so I went in expecting an "ok" burger. The burger was a little smaller than expected but so good. For me, I like my burger cooked all the way through and it was. It was thin and juicy and the edges were a little crispy. The cheese fries were soft inside and crunchy outside with just enough cheese. Two downsides, but not a mark against them ..... long lines and no where to sit BUT OBVIOUSLY that's a good sign! Definitely tasty and worth 5 stars! Oh and ALL 5 of my kids loved it too, that's a win!!!!!!!

For fast food, this is about the best experience you can hope for all around. Although as far as speed goes, I would actually call it "moderate". Considering it's a burger joint, think diner wait times instead of having your burger handed to you 180 seconds after placing the order. The burgers and fries are great. Haven't tried everything on the menu, but the meat is quality, and the taste and texture are exceptional even when they're not cooked rare/medium-rare. Ingredients seem fresh and compliment the sandwich well. Buns are toasted and made for a good texture combination providing you don't leave the sandwich long enough for them to get soggy. I'm a French fry fan, and these taters are crispy, not overly salted and fried to a great consistency. Employees at this location are usually warm and inviting, and during busy periods, the restaurant is often staffed well enough to have folks help you through the self-serve kiosk system where the ordering process happens. Otherwise, the kiosks are user friendly, I believe there are eight of them to prevent too much waiting, and the full menu is on an adjacent wall so finding exactly what you want is simple. Restaurant is clean and spacious, not loud, and there is Foosball and a small shuffleboard table, although the finish on the shuffleboard is shot so sliding the pucks is almost impossible. Code on the bathroom keeps them clean and in good order, and asking for the code at the counter is a quick and easy experience. Love this place and have returned a few times since trying it. If you like smash-burgers, you won't be disappointed.

I've been wanting to try shake shack since I saw one in L.A. I was not disappointed the burger was Delicious with a soft perfectly steamed bun and the cherry peppers were amazing. My husband shake stack was just as good the fried mushroom burger I'm sure would have been equally as good alone too (which is an option). I loved that the boys could play dinner games while we waited for our food to help keep them entertained while we talked. The person who delivered it for checked back up on us unlike most places that deliver the food and if you need more you got track them down. Over all the experience was great and I highly recommend it.

Staff immediately welcomed me as soon as I walked in. Ordering at the kiosk is super easy and quick. Food arrived quickly & ingredients were fresh as always. The staff member that delivered my food was so kind & offered to grab utensils for me. Danica, another staff Member was making rounds in the dining area to check on guests & anticipating their needs. She approached my table to check if I needed anything and offered to refill my drink. She is very friendly and warm!

Tried their new honey hot chicken (I think that's what it was called) it was pretty good! Not spicy, more on the sweeter side though. And cheese fries are a must. I think their chicken burgers are better than their beef ones.

First visit here and super impressed so far. My roommate got it Door Dashed a couple nights ago and raved about it, so I knew I had to give it a try. The physical restaurant is cute. They have kiosks to order yourself, which I love for several reasons: no rush to finish your order because there are other kiosks for the people behind you to use, you can easily customize which increases accuracy, and it keeps me from talking through a mask to another person less than 6 get away from me. Also, I was immediately greeted by someone who showed me exactly how it all worked. She was extremely friendly and helpful. I got the bacon avocado burger and fries. Order was ready pretty quickly, and the guy who have it to me was also very friendly and helpful. Food? Yesssss. Burger was yummy and fries were crispy and hot. 100% will be back, and will be trying a shake next time!

I just love this place. Great juicy hamburgers custom to the way you like it. The crinkle fries are fried to perfection. The real milkshake are delicious. The atmosphere is fun and open and rather inviting...if you want an awesome burger I highly recommend you check the Shake Shack out. You wont be disappointed!

Shake Shack is great. It's okay for us to have more than one amazing burger place. I have enough burger love in my heart for Shake Shack *and* In-N-Out. Sometimes the future doesn't suck. The fresh, refreshing tomato, lettuce, and I add onion, with the pillowy bun, and the slightly salty patty. The fries. Crispy exterior with a light, fluffy core. The eponymous shake will ruin what others pass off as shakes. Thick, creamy, and delicious. Honestly, I avoid them in a personal showing of restraint. My only problem with Shake Shack is that they're so close, (less than a mile), and their app makes it so easy and convenient. Do it.

I love that they are consistent and they’re always willing to experiment with different types of products while also keeping fan favs!!! Yes!! And everything is the right balance of savory, sweet, cold and warm; it reminds me of California bbq and summers! Def better than In-And-Out, Habit Burger and most all others; I used to live by those other places but now it’s 10000% Shake Shack ya’errrd 🖤

The burger's meat was cooked to perfection, with a juicy texture, crispy bacon, and a delightful avocado topping, all complemented by a soft hamburger bun. The bacon cheese fries were equally impressive, featuring melted cheese and crispy bacon that was cooked to perfection, avoiding any burnt or hard textures. Overall, I was thoroughly satisfied with my experience and the food, and I look forward to returning. I am also impressed by their customer service, which I would rate as a perfect five out of five. The young lady was exceptionally nice when she delivered my food and drinks.

The hamburger was amazing, I had the smoke shake with the cheese fries. I’m telling you, yummy. The only I did not like, they have a foosball table and it’s so loud, you can’t hear anyone talk. Not even anyone at your table. If that foosball table was placed away from the diners it would be great. I still gave it 5 stars because the service, and the food was outstanding and great.

We were there 1/19 on a Friday, it didn't seem busy at all. We ordered from the tablet. The employee that delivered our order to our table was very attentive and sweet. My boyfriend ordered the Korean BBQ and the Double Golden State burger with a Shake-made lemonade. I ordered the Double Golden State burger, it was so juicy and delicious! With a Sunset Lemonade which was amazing I definitely recommend.

Food is always hot and fresh, never disappoints. Service is pretty quick as well. And I love that as you wait for your food, there's games you can play.

I ordered 4 burgers and two fries. Two of them were Shack Stacks. However, when I got home I found that the mushrooms in the burgers were missing! I paid for Shack Stacks but I got two Shack Burgers instead. I called the store but it just led me to a voicemail and no one replied. It was too late for me to drive all the way back to Sacramento to exchange for new burgers at that time so my problem was never solved. I ended up didn’t get the burgers I wanted and paid more than I should. To follow up. I came back to the store and they gave me a free meal as a compensate. The service is good and the manger is very kind.

First time at a Shake Shack and this one at Ice Blocks is amazing. I got the 2 for 8 hot dog special my friend got the cheeseburger. First off the prices are so good you will feel like you've gone back in time. The place is very casual and I wish they had relish and mustard with easy access but honestly who cares it is delicious and inexpensive. I got the cheese sauce and crispy onion dogs and wow! Delicious. I was full. Try it you will love it.

Absolutely divine experience. I will explain how hot it was outside. The dragon fruit passion fruit berry drink is delicious plus my newfound fahbulous friend The Divine Miss K. adds a splash of sprite to it and it gives it that kick that should actually be placed on the menu as an option. I added a touch of salt 1 patty is plenty thick but I am dying to try 2!!The sauces were one of the showstoppers. The honey mustard was delicious and I should have added a mix of the tangy BBQ and the honey mustard to the burger. Now THATS perfect. The fries were hot and crispy and thick. The kind where you you want a touch of salt and you nibble on 1 fry for 4 or 5 bites. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.. I’ve been Shooketh by The Shake Shack. The entire staff were great. The cooks however didn’t look like the knew how to take me as I do not look like an average customer. Hint:it’s The smile😬😁

The food is very good! The food here is filling but small. Sides are always very good almost no matter what you order. The limited drinks are very special and looked very good. The inside interior is very nice and sleek with games you can play with friends and family. The outside is very nice and the restrooms were nice and had a lot of privacy. The customer service was very nice and told us what to do and offered us water and to-go bags. If you have a dog, there are dog bowls with either food or water to give to your dog. This restraint is very nice with a lot of food you can pick in its menu. I would come back here and would recommend this restraint for hungry people in Northern California.

From the beginning everyone was so helpful and informative. Kaleo was super friendly and made sure we were taken care of the whole time we were here. They did have a transiet wonder into the store but they noticed immediately and there team worked together to quickly resolve this. They even sanitized all surfaces this person touched/put trash on. The manager even came by to introduce herself and make sure we were all good. I will always come back to this location because of the AMAZING service. You literally never find service on this level a lot of the time I will never forget my experience. My daughter who is 6 says she wants wants come back here everyday. Thank you to this team!

I had the Tiramisu Shake (limited time specialty) and it was heavenly! Tasted just like taking a bite of tiramisu. We also shared bacon cheese fries that were a 10/10 and love their fries are crinkle cut. We weirdly loved the little wood pic that it came with to eat with, it's a little 2 prong fork. It makes eating cheese fries more sophisticated and keeps your fingers clean.

I’m typically not a burger person. But this is my go-to. The burgers are tasty, and not too messy 😆 I love their crinkle fries and their drinks are always tasty! Self-service is convenient and they are fast, usually within minutes of placing the order. Only con is the location - you have to pay for parking and it’s always busy and you circle around a few times to find a spot. Definitely not the restaurants fault, but it might deter customers. It’s also kinda pricey since you have to buy everything separately- wish they had a meal. It’s such a cute area though - so I definitely make it work 🙂

I’d been hearing about Shake Shack in Midtown for a while now - several friends kept telling me I had to try it - but I just never got around to it. Well, I finally went recently, and let me just say: this place will absolutely give their competition a run for their money. The burgers? Solid. No complaints at all. Flavorful, juicy, and exactly what you hope for in a great burger. Same goes for the fries - crispy, golden, and just downright delicious. But what really surprised me, and honestly stole the show, were the chicken nuggets. I’m not exaggerating when I say these are the best chicken nuggets I’ve had anywhere. Period. From the first bite, it’s clear they use fresh, whole white meat chicken - none of that processed stuff. They're perfectly breaded, perfectly cooked, and incredibly flavorful. Total game changer. If you haven’t been here yet, do yourself a favor and go ASAP. I’m already planning my next visit.

Their burgers are 🔥 Their burger buns alone are 🔥 They are actually made from potatoes and has that sweetness to it similar to the “Hawaiian Rolls” Their patties are so delicious and tasty 💯% all natural angus beef. Their shakes have a scoop of frozen custard so creamy and delicious!! If you get French fries get it with the truffle oil. You’re welcome! This is my go to cheat day burger place!! I love everything on the menu and will return many many more times ❤️ Clean both inside and out including restrooms. Plenty of seating both inside and outside the patio area. First time at this location and it has great atmosphere! The queue was not as long as I expected it to be. The staff are friendly and helpful, and service is great as well. The food tasted consistent with other Shake Shack locations I have been to as well. Pricing wise, it's a little overpriced but that's just how it is across all Shake Shack. Would definitely recommend this location if you're craving for their burgers and shakes!

Holy hamburgers in Midtown!! This place.. WOW! 🍔👌🏽 I heard great things about this place and I was not Disappointed!! Those other burger places in town better move over! This place was Fantastic! From the Shake Shack Burger to the bacon cheese fries! To to my personal favorite the chocolate milkshake! Everything was absolutely delicious! An absolute must try! In my opinion better than In-N-Out! 💯

Definitely a fan of Shake Shack since I first tried one in Florida. Their food is cooked to order so comes out piping hot and fresh. I especially love their fries. The shake shack bbq burger (forgot what it was called) with the small diced peppers is my favorite sandwich there. Was glad to find a location in Sac and definitely recommend

I always order the same burger the shake burger single or double. The smell of the meat n cheese is crazy good. No other fas food burger is on that level in my opinion. The location is great, staff is good, clean environment. We are always satisfied every time.

TL;DR Food: 4/5 🥘 Service: 5/5 👨‍🍳 This tastes how I remember Shake Shack tasting in the bay! The cheese in the ShackBurger is super delicious (and I usually hate cheese in my burgers). We also got a cookies and cream milkshake that definitely hit the spot and could not recommend more. My one complaint would be that the fries were a little on the cold side. The service was also very pleasant even though they were having difficulties with their system! Definitely recommend this place

Super fresh. There was no line when I was there at 2:30pm. Fresh and juicy. Ordered the golden state burger along with a side of fries and 6 chicken pieces (all white and super tender). Spent about $25. It's on the pricer side. This is a taste of East Coast all american burger franchise, otherwise there's only a few other locations in the bay area and a few in LA only.

We stopped by Shake Shack after visiting the Sacramento Zoo—just about a 10-minute drive away. The location was beautiful, very clean, and not crowded at all, which made for a relaxing visit. Ordering was easy through the self-serve kiosk, and the food came out quickly. The burgers were great, just as expected! Unfortunately, the fries were cold and the milkshake had a bit of a strange taste this time around. It was my mom’s first time trying Shake Shack, so she was a little disappointed—especially with the price and the fries—but she did enjoy her burger. I’ve had Shake Shack at other locations before, so I knew what to expect.

Shake Shack in the Ice Blocks doesn't hit like the one in the Vegas Airport. Took advantage of a free chicken sandwich deal on a Sunday. Got a single smokestack, nuggets, fries and the chicken sandwich which was free and paid almost $30. Food was shared between myself, my wife and a two and four year old, both picky eaters. The burger was good but pretty small for the price. Nuggets and fries weren't anything special. The sauces had a funny taste to me. The place itself is cool since it has games in the seating area. Service only knocked down since I used a kiosk to order but they kept the place really clean.

My beverage was filled to top with ice, my chicken sandwich was greasy and falling apart. I love fries, but the batch i received was disappointing. The were cold and hard. All in all not worth my money.

Don't like having to go through and pay online. We prefer paying in cash. Waiter not friendly at all, could tell he was a kid in a non social environment with computers doing most of the work. Too high tech and cold for me. Food ok. Would have been happier in a mom n pop burger joint with old stuff and warm and welcoming staff.

I have been to Shake Shack joints in New York, London, and Seoul, but after trying again in Sacramento, I just felt that the trend is at a decline. There is so much good competition even in Sacramento alone that just even the size of these burgers won’t make the cut. They are too small! You just go once and kind of not crave it again after.

I've been a big fan of Shack Shake having tried the locations in LA and Vegas. That's what makes it tough giving this place 3 stars but there was quite a few issues I couldn't overlook. They do have a pre-order system which seems to separate the orders times 15 minutes apart which is a night tough but my order was not ready till 15 minutes past my order time. I understand the issues with covid19 but if you have those specific times it's a big issue that it rolls over into the next period. I was gonna let this slide with 4 stars but this wasn't the only issues. They have a limited menu due to the current pandemic but even with that in mind the quality of my food was poor. The burgers were poorly constructed and messed up and not to their usual standards. It was very obviously rushed and thrown together haphazardly. It's one thing being late, it's another when it's late and the quality is not up to the usual standards. I plan to give this place another chance as I understand the issues and I've had good experiences at their other locations. Hoping they can work things out and get the timing issues fixed.

The burger was average nothing to go crazy over, the cheese fries were great and cooked to perfection. I really like that the burgers were from all grass fed cattle. In my opinion the prices were too high for what you got. Unfortunately will not be making this my go to burger joint so the search goes on.

It was a clean environment for the most part. The staff could of been more exciting, like stated welcome in or something. I only seen one person restocking and cleaning with a roster of at least 6 people. Food wasn't too bad but tasted rushed.

The burgers are pricey but they are very good. Very well seasoned patties with all the toppings is the way to go. Recently tried the Korean menu and nothing was memorable. $12 Chicken sandwich was less than mid. The regular chicken sandwich is much better with all the toppings. Ordering through the app is the way to go as they usually have app only deals.

Environment: they have a fooseball table and hand sized shuffle board, and the ambience is neat Food: ONLY GET THE SHAKE (it was amazing! ☆☆☆☆☆). The grilled cheese was disappointing due to it being the size of my palm ☆☆☆. Please note that the following observations were made after a 10 minute drive home. The two burgers ☆ we got were not just small but also the buns had an overbearing flavor. The burger had one piece of limp lettuce. Honestly ended up throwing away my last few bites of it because I couldn't force myself to finish it. I was really disappointed given how highly people speak of their burgers in these reviews. Honestly not the place to go for a good burger. The fries tasted/looked like they were made from frozen but they claim to be made fresh so not sure. Would definitely not purchase food from here again. Service: not much to say about it as we did not dine in, but the food was ready in a timely manner.

Was really excited to try Shake Shack for the first time after hearing about it for years. Always heard it compared to In-N-Out, with many of it's faithful saying it was better. Again, really pumped to give it a try. Sadly, I was a bit disappointed. It wasn't bad, would definitely have it again. But I didn't think it was nearly as flavorful as In-N-Out, or cooked as well. I also think Smash Burger is better, at least than this experience. I like their fries and shakes better for sure. But the main star just didn't match up. Would also say that the grilled cheese was horrible. I have never seen a grilled cheese that thin in my life. Quesadilla's are thicker! I'm definitely going to try again. Often times the first experience can be lessened by high expectations, which I certainly had. Also might have been an off day in the kitchen (short staffed or inexperience). So I'll try again and hope for better. But it's not bad, just not up to the hype or it's competition.

I ordered from Shake Shack a couple of weeks ago hoping to try the viral Dubai chocolate shake, but it wasn’t available online. I called the store and spoke to the manager, who said she would “turn it on” on the website but didn’t give any time estimate. It was already 11 AM and I had to place the order, which ended up being over $100. Unfortunately, when the food arrived, the burgers were soggy and way too salty. For the price, I expected much better quality and service. Really disappointed overall and not sure if I’ll be ordering again.

The burgers were cooked rare and we paid for well done. Well we selected our burgers to be well done when we used the kiosk that were there for a self service option. Mind you it was our first time there and was looking forward to a great experience. NOT 🚫 there was a nice young African American waitress who was VERY helpful. So much that you made sure we left there with Two New freshly cooked well done burgers and she suggested that we scan the bar code that was on every table for customer service purposes such as these. I made sure to scan and was directed to a survey that I gladly filled out. I was responded to by email and was sent a $20 discount code for the next purchase at their establishment. We'll see 👀 how that turns out.

Great for quick bite few games. Burgers are exceptional spicy caramel milkshake is different and yummy. Definitely give that a try if you go here.. plenty of room apple space for kids. There’s music playing so kids are free to make noise.!

I would not recommend shake shack to anybody who has tasted a decent burger. The fries were dry and almost cold when I got them. And the burger is not desirable in anyway including taste - it tastes frozen as well as the bun. The cheese is sweet which is okay in some occasions such as in a cheesecake but when the cheese they put on the cardboard-like room temperature fries and nasty burgers that makes a frozen burger taste delightful they aren't even trying to make the food taste any good. I do not recommend ❌❌

What a shame... My family and I had been dying to try Shake Shack. Last night, we decided to order and go pick it up, even though it's a 30 minute drive each way. We had trouble with the app, it kept declining my card, come to find out, the app pays to a New York address and my bank flagged it as fraud. Also, we had a coupon code that wouldn't work. Finally, after contacting the bank and verifying that we were making the purchase, it went through. Made the drive, and picked up the food. The employee at the pickup table was not very friendly, but whatever. Walked the 3 huge bags to the car (we ordered 7 meals, $108 dollars worth). My son excitedly opened the bag with the shakes in it, only to find that they were all almost completely melted and two of them didn't have their lids on, which made a huge mess. We cleaned it up and headed home. Digging in to the bag and dishing out food, my wife began looking at the burgers only to discover that there were only 6, hers was missing. And, they only gave us 2 ketchup packets for 7 orders of fries. The final straw was when my pregnant daughter bit into her burger only to find that it was almost completely raw. We attempted to call the restaurant and found out you can't. Only email. I'm now awaiting their response. 100% will not be returning, it was a disaster.

It took us 60 min to get our food, we have to reorder twice and we need to get a refund from the bank. For a huge company like Shake Shack, we were not anticipating such unprofessionalism from it. Huge disappointment, never coming back. Bye!!!

This burger was pitiful. Only two small tomatoes, two small pieces of onion and a quarter of a piece of lettuce. No sauce on the burgers or the side for the two that requested. Parm/ truffle fries was smaller than the regular order and costs more. Disappointed

Horrible i ordered my food & got the special Christmas cookie milkshake & I went to the restroom only to come out to find my food & milkshake thrown away in the trash I paid $21.17 for my meal & the manager wouldn't make me a new milkshake. My milkshake was still brand new I only took 2 drinks off of it.. & All the manager could do is tell me sorry I ca.t do anything for you. To go online & leave an email asking for a refund. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE So if u ever come here to eat dont ever leave ur food at the table and go to the restroom otherwise you'll end up like me wit everything thrown away & the manager telling u sorry there's nothing I can.do about it...

All burgers are salty, sweet treats are too sweets. I ordered Avocado Chicken burger, the avocado is missing. They refunded it but no sorry heard from the manager. Just disappointed!
