This is an old standby...everything is always great. Its a little crowded for my liking given the pandemic and that Jersey doesn't require proof of vax..so would go back during the week. We had octopus special for appetizer, 2 of us had cod oreganata, husband had zuppa di pesce (mussels were so-so) 2 chicken sangiorgio, and 1 broccoli rabe with sausage. Everyone was happy with their meal. We split 2 salads too...tasty dressing. Its BYOB...which is always great!! Can't lose going here.

Just came back from Dinner at this FANTASTIC RESTAURANT..The antipasto Seafood Salad was by far the Best I ever had.. We were a party of 8. The Main course for each was a Italian Steak with lemon ..Chicken parm..Pasta with shrimp..and Pasta with clams and white wine sauce..Chicken parm..Chicken Cutlet w Arugula salad on top..Pasta with Shrimp..Zuppa Di Pesce .. All 4 couples agreed ..one of our BEST meals Ever..It also is a BYO..The waitress Angelica and the waiter Anthony couldn’t have been more hospitable to make us all feel more at home..We will certainly be back again..Thanks San Giorgio for a GREAT NIGHT..😀💞

Go to place when everything else gets so old, and great for a date. Not one dish you can go wrong with. Only place in the triboro you can get nice italian without cheap canned red sauce slopped all over everything. Prices are fair. You'll spend more at Applebees. Sangiorgios is highly recommended.

My go to restaurant. I bring my friends and family there always because they have absolutely delicious food and a cozy atmosphere. The only hard part is deciding what to order. I love the double cut Pork Chop and the Pollo Lucio (chicken with baked potato crust on top) or sometimes the home made pasta or the Liver Anthony (with bacon and onions). I like to start with an artichoke or mussels or raw shellfish or one of the special salad appetizers. It's all good!

Everyone I ever brought here was amazed at how good the food is. As I’m reading all these reviews, there’s always that one who will find something wrong so they can sound like they know more than everybody else. this restaurant is in a class all its own trust me. The owner Rosario, who is the chef is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and his food is truly amazing. The best experience I ever had and every time I come the experience is absolutely amazing. By the way, I’ve been in just about every restaurant around. I’m in the restaurant business. I should know. if I could give this Restaurant 10 stars I would.

We celebrated my birthday with their food. Took out a dinner for 5. The food was wonderful. From the appetizers, calamari and mussels. To the main courses. Delicious. So much so that we ordered from them on our anniversary. Consistently good food. If you plan to eat there, small footprint and dry. Enjoy!!

We try to go once a month. Best BYOB in the area. The wait staff have all been there for years and very friendly. The rack of lamb with gorgonzola is delicious! We always get the stuffed artichoke. I have never tasted a stuffed artichoke as good as here. I wish they would expand and make the restaurant bigger! It is a hidden gem.

We will definitely be coming back here again! You really need to make a reservation. We turned up without a reservation and waited 10 minutes and were given a table. I think if you do make a reservation turn up on time otherwise you'll lose the table. The service was a little slow but service was excellent. The food was definitely the best we've had in years. The lamb was cooked to perfection and was delicious with the gorgonzola sauce. Everything tasted amazing.

Cozy and delicious! I loved the stuffed artichoke and the pork chops. The cooking was excellent. The meat was browned just right with crisp seasoning on the surface and the side vegetables and potatoes were sauteed perfectly.

The food was amazing and each course was served within a reasonable amount of time, never felt rushed and never had to wait for staff. It was a really nice night out. Only thing (and I didn't take any star away for it) is it's not really geared for parties of two, you can't make a reservation unless it's four or more and there's only a couple of two person tables. They'll set you at a four person if there is not a reservation, but we found that all four seaters were booked. We'll definitely go again, but next time we'll bring friends :)

Hidden behind/beneath Kinnelon Country Liquors. San Giorgio's has really great Italian food, which makes this place quite popular among the locals. It is BYOB so the liquor store above the restaurant is very convenient. It is usually very busy on the weekends. They do not accept reservations for parties of two, three or more, only. It's worth the wait. I've never had a bad meal here. They have your traditional Italian dishes, have a great steak, fresh seafood, veal chops and nice pasta dishes. Don't go if you are in a rush. It's slow paced dining and when they're busy, the kitchen can take a little longer.

This has been my family's go to local Italian spot for years. The food is consistently good, the prices are so reasonable, the staff is friendly and it's a BYOB. My fiancé had the potato crusted chicken and it was AMAZING! He gets it every time and it never disappoints. We tried the crab cake special and it was delicious. Large chunks of fresh crab, a honey mustard drizzle and it was not loaded with breadcrumbs. This time I was disappointed when I ordered my entree. I ordered the Veal a la Tony and the cheese was not melted completely on top and the chicken was not hot. I asked for it with spinach and they didn't add the spinach, no big deal, but it was on our check. I was also sad to see that they no longer give you the bruschetta with the bread, but I understand if they are trying to cut cost. Definitely a must try!

Even take-out is an 1 & 1/2 hour wait. We were here on Saturday & it took 25 minutes to get a menu. Although the food is good, the wait is not worth it.

Italian restaurant in the lower level of another building (seen on Google Street view). Small, dated interior with a lot of drapery separating the small seating area from the service areas and toilets. The food was adequate but most notable the service. The wait staff seem visibly annoyed to take our order (party of 10). Exactly 60 minute wait for the appetizers to arrive. Portions are large and the food tasty but nearly 3 hours for a meal is a lot to ask of customers.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for the past eight years and it has been excellent however tonight is a different situation. I ordered for pick up and I ordered shrimp with penne vodka and it was 20.95 and I was given three shrimp and the vodka sauce was very bland. I also had the stuffed artichoke which is usually amazing and it was undercooked and the juice was very bland as well. I called the restaurant to let them know and all they could say to me is they will tell the cook and that is it. They did not offer me A discount to come back or a coupon for next time. I am very disappointed and I will not be coming back as there are too many great restaurants around the area that would have treated their customers better in a similar situation.

Horrible Horrible!!!!! Would never go to this restaurant again! Went to celebrate a family members birthday. The service was horrible, the whole restaurant was very dirty. We waiting along time for very fair food. We waited a very long time our dinners. One of our guests received their steak dinner and a roach crawled out of his meal. The waitress came over and acted like this happens all the time 😳😳. Asked if he wanted another meal. We all were grossed out and attempted to not ruin the evening. He said alright. Not one management people approached our table to apologize. Instead the decided to charge us for the meal and my granddaughter asked why they wouldn’t comp his meal. The waitress and owner became extremely combative and almost start a fight. This place is disgusting on all levels. Never, never again😡

HORRIBLE!! Food was ok but the service was terrible, took forever. And to top off the 2 hours of waiting there was a bug that CRAWLED out of my brother’s food. We talked to the owner and he told us that he should have sat there and ate nothing rather than get a new meal. Then he basically threatened to fight my brother. Terrible!

Place is horrible and owner is beyond disrespectful! Got into an altercation with my 16 year old son in front of all the patrons in the restaurant. Will never eat there again and recommend that if you do, you do not speak to the owner as he is highly confrontational!! Food is average and definitely not worth the aggravation!
