Lived in this neighborhood for over 40 years & first time eating here, not sure why but it will be added to my regulars from now on. Walking along the avenue and decided to grab a bite, glad we did ! Food was absolutely delicious & the coffee was very good which is very hard to pull off for diners. Mike & staff were so welcoming, so attentive checked on us quite a few times which is really important to me when dining out. Beautiful weather & a fantastic meal is a perfect way to get yourself going !!

My husband and I decided to go to breakfast. The diner we were going to is located on a block that was having a street festival so we couldn’t access it. We used Google to find another diner in the area and decided to come to Bay Ridge Diner. We parked and came in and was greeted by friendly staff. They are practicing all the Covid-19 protocols and asked to see our vaccination proof, which is also posted outside. We were seated and welcomed again. They even let us try a soup we never heard of but in inquired about due to its name. The soup is called Avgolemono and they brought over some for us to sample. We didn’t ask for it but they did it so we now know what it is and even explained how it’s made. We ordered breakfast and it didn’t disappoint. Crispy bacon that wasn’t disgustingly salty like some places and glorious home fries! My husband had french toast and I don’t even like French toast but his looked phenomenal. Challah was definitely used and a good amount of cinnamon and a sprinkling on confectioners sugar so it doesn’t overpower the delicate bread! The coffee was great too! We are definitely coming back! The service was amazing and the staff is stellar!

We've been coming here even before the pandemic. This Diner is definitely one of the best. The customer service is always on point. The owner and the son are both very friendly. Servers are polite. Place is always clean. The food is very good compare to other Diner. The price is reasonable even after the pandemic. They require the vac card to dine in. We will definitely keep coming here. If your in Bayridge, Brooklyn try this spot you will not regret. Great job to everyone at Bayridge Diner!

The food is delicious and service friendly and helpful. As you can see from the photographs the portions are huge and the seating is comfortable Btw they also deliver and are pretty quick after lunch And dinner hours. The prices need to be updated on their website otherwise their reasonable and nice size portions As for the new owners they are always helpful and appreciate you dropping in .

I've been to this diner twice with my bestie and absolutely fell in love. I'm a diner girl...love a nice diner to drink coffee and enjoy a delicious meal. The waiter is very nice (I like that he calls me Madame) and the food is delicious. Of course the coffee is good (diner coffee is the best!) This is my new favorite place to go when I'm in Bay Ridge 😊

Came with my family of 5 and 4 kids on our way to Delaware. We came for breakfast and ordered 5 over easy that comes with home fries and buttered toast. I was disappointed that it did not come with orange juice and coffee. The waitress was nice enough to let the cook know to clean the griddle as our food cannot come in contact with any type of meat. This could be a reason why it took a bit of a long time for our food to come out. The food was fresh and reasonable portions. Nothing beyond expected so we will not return. But if you’re looking for a regular diner experience this will do. I often compare all my experiences to a diner in Binghamton. The Binghampton diner had very reasonable prices with amazing portion of food! This everything else comes short of that experience. Bill: there is tax and gratuity is automatically added. There are two charges if paying by cash or card.

I do like diners, especially in New York. Though the interior is a bit tired, the food makes up for it. My Barcelona wrap was immense, and the fries were crispy and not greasy. Coffee was good. If you find yourself in Bay Ridge, give it a whirl.

We had breakfast, the Lumberjack and He-man. The eggs, ham, sausage and bacon were standard. The pancakes were awful - chewy, flat, and tasteless, as was the accompanying syrup. The waffle was also not very good. On the other hand, the service was exceptional. But, if I don't have good food, what's the point?

If I could put 0 stars I would. I ordered delivery and I would usually always get 2 eggs over easy with sausage and home Fries this time I decided to get a little extra. I have never had an issue until this point, I literally only received 1 sausage with my order and more potatoes than anything else. When I opened my other orders, I purchased similar but replaced the sausage with bacon & French fries. It looked like they sent the leftovers from someone's plate. To add insult to injury the eggs were runny and there was a plastic object in my pancakes. I called the manager who goes by the name of "mike" who told me I needed to purchase the sausage separate from my eggs when it’s supposed to come with it. Ge was rude, obnoxious & downright unprofessional. If I were you, don't go here. It's a ripoff & definitely not worth it. If you need any suggestions, Stewart's Diner on 86&5th ave, & also Bridgeview diner on 91st and 3rd ave is definitely worth your time, money and appetite.

Do not order from this place. One of the worst diners in bay ridge since owners. Changed. Multiple issues on multiple delivery’s. Do no order. They said they would fix the order and send appropriate food mind you this is the 3rd time they messed up the order.

Food was ok . But mostly upsetting that we paid cash but they put Non cash adjustment $1.73 and also $ 6.73 tip already included in the bill. We left cash tip $6 . So for the simple breakfast from eggs we paid total $ 51.10 scammers! Felt that we were ripped off for $18 just for the eggs . I am not cheap but it’s nonsense. And when I asked the bill to look at why it cost so much waiter was rude and said that it’s all because taxes and that we paid by card, meanwhile, we paid cash!!! So it wasn’t only taxes! Plus I got food poisoning. 🤢
