I have eaten at all the famous taco places in NYC, Tacombi, Los Tacos etc etc but this place my god this place hits the spot. There is nothing better than this spot. It is worth the hike out to Brooklyn because these tacos are life changing. I haven’t even finished the last taco before writing this raving review. The service is quick and we felt well taken care of. It’s cash only but there is an ATM on site with a $1.50 fee which isn’t bad at all. Incredible food and great atmosphere. Would come back again and again.

Generous dishes. We ordered the carne asada and the fajita mixta and both were yummy. Spacious outdoor. Be careful they only take cash. There is an atm in the restaurant, though.

Great food. The tacos are big - two were more than enough for me. Not a cheap spot but I think it’s worth it. Staff are great.

We were looking for a place to have just a drink and we ended up having diner because food looked delicious. And it was! I recommend to try some margaritas and order some tacos

Nice corner restaurant. The food is very flavorful and the portions are not shy plus loaded with meat. They definitely do not skimp on the meat here. The nachos are not your conventional nachos. At first I was confused but after tasting them I was wow. I definitely recommend El Santo. Only one down fall and it’s not with service and or food. The one down fall is they only take cash. It is very worth it. The price is good, service is great.

An awesome spot to come and enjoy a Mexican dish and their amazing variety of cocktails definitely will get the job done with just one of their drinks. Environment is very welcoming and great selection of music. Will be coming again here.

Vibes were great for Cinco De Mayo and the food was awesome. I had Fish and steak tacos with a passionfruit margarita. It was a good experience and great service from the bartenders and staff. Good place to drop in and pick up a good drink and bite

Stopped by this spot for a post-work drink and it was a pleasant surprise. This spot has a bright and breezy, open atmosphere, perfect for a casual hangout. It was very difficult to get the waitresses attention multiple times even though she was literally in the room and not at other tables. Food was good although the nachos come with at most 8 chips. frustratingly comical.

Got al pastor tacos but the flavor was not there. The meat was very fatty.

I do not have a problem with the staff, the ambiance or the food. I do have an issue with the 20% tip being included on the bill and tax being added after the tip. I am not a fan of tips included but if the service is ok I generally just accept it especially if I had a good time, however we were taxed for gratuity. I will say they did remove the tip and gave us a new bill when we complained. What I didn’t like was the fact that we were told three times that no one has ever complained which is irrelevant and made me feel like we were being petty. In any case we paid the bill and exceeded the 20% gratuity.
