Its a relief to find authentic New York City style pizza in NYC. The last few decades have seen a trend towards overpriced small pie pizza that caters to a different demographic. Generally they serve a version of Neapolitan style pizza. (thin crunchy bitter crust) in small pie sizes with extravagant toppings and superfluous combinations. When you just need a real NY slice, and not one covered in siracha or spicy honey, there’s still hope and it’s here.

Something different. They have nice variety of choices. Thick and thin. Very nice people. Give ‘em a try! They keep some nice pop in the fridge too! You can get some cane sugar artisan pops or they have the classic license stuff. Every time im in town , I go here and i try something new. Indoor bar style seating or outdoors. Spices and toppings at the register.🍕

Stumbled upon this hidden gem and I’m so glad I walked into their doors. Their grandma pizza is indeed delicious, but also try the bigger slices. If you’re in Greenpoint or Williamsburg, make sure to come here!

Just what you’d expect from a neighborhood pizzeria in New York! Freshly made pizza, lots of cheese, basil, herbs and a lovely crisp crunch to the crust. Guys serving were also manning the oven were very friendly. Limited seating inside and a couple of tables outside. Definitely recommend!

We were eating at the local donut shop. We asked for a recommendation on a pizza shop. They enthusiastically recommended Greenpoint. They weren't wrong. Excellent pizza, exactly what you'd expect in Brooklyn. I wish I had tried the Sicilian. Friendly people. Good location. Bottled or fountain drinks.

Wow! While carmine's is sorely missed his legacy lives on. I was excited to meet Paolo, the friendly Sicilian pizzaolo and proprietor of this new pizzeria and chat about his hometown, a small village near Trapani. He prepares a great pizza with attention to detail. To taste!

Used to love this spot, probably picked up from here dozens of times. Haven’t come in a while, but they must have lost their minds. 35$ for for a half regular half veggie pie. Rationale was that apparently it’s 3$ a topping. I guess it’s 10$ for like 6 pieces of broccoli and 3 pieces of pepper? Apparently I look like a schmuck. It probably would have been cheaper to just get individual slices. I know pricing in greenpoint is stupid, but next time I’ll go to old reliable Russ instead.

Garbage pizza. Garbage service. Ordered for delivery, pizza came a sloppy mess. Called and asked for replacement, second pizza was even worse. Deliver drivers have attitude and can't properly do their job. Pizza should be pizza, shouldnt show up looking like a lasagna. Lay off the cervezas and perico.

My gf and I came in for a slice of pizza and the guy at the counter acted like he never seen black people before. He was rude and passive aggressive and we literally saw him do none of that to the white guy that ordered before us. DO NOT EAT HERE. It was a Friday at 3:40pm. Disgusting.
