Solid spot for a slices - plenty of cheese, slightly sweet marinara sauce, and not overly cooked crust. The specialty slices are also delicious - especially their grandma slice. Service is also fast and friendly.

This place had flown under my radar until a friend recommended it. Grandma slice with garlicky breadcrumbs delicious (a little soggy on the bottom but worth it for the delicious flavor, if you’re big on the tomato sauce on your pizza)

I’m a decade deep in Greenpoint lotsa places have come and gone and a few places have occupied this current spot most memorably Carmine’s and that era of the hood holds a place in my heart. The current guys have re-instilled the once forgotten lore of a good slice in Greenpoint. Go say hi they treat you like family.

I very much enjoyed my experience here, the slices were about $4.25 per slice and worth every cent! I loved their Italian sausage slice, so flavorful and a good crunch to the crust. The two who I assume were the owners were so friendly and you could tell they were close because they were chatting with each other the whole time as they worked. Definitely coming back next time I'm in Greenpoint!

The grandma pizza is the best pizza I've ever had. It's rich and flavourful, with garlic, mozzarella, parmesan and chunky sweet tomatoes. The base is crispy and delicious. We came back 3 times during our trip to NY and it was wonderful every single time. We have nothing like this in London and we'll miss it!

Awesome Pizza, the Regular Slice and Sicilian are amazing and have that real old school Brooklyn taste, and are very hearty slices. The bacon pepperoni slice is like a meal in itself. Chicken rolls are great too. They also have gelato but not sure if its seasonal as i haven't tried it.

I ordered a pepperoni pie this week. It was truly perfect. I have only positive things to say. The dough was just the correct amount of chewy, it had the perfect amount of cheese . Been going here for a while now. I’ve got to say this place rules. Staff is cool and the pizza rocks! I have always had a good experience with getting food on time and the prices are on point.

This is run by the guy Baldo who worked for Tony at Italy Pizza on Manhattan avenue. I always thought Italy Pizza was one of the best we had in Greenpoint and Baldo carried it over and added some variety and flair to his food. I honestly believe it's one of the best chicken rolls I've ever had and all of his other slices are great as well. Of all the places we have in Greenpoint I will go there first.

GET THE GRANDMA SLICE. Pizza is a tough game in NYC. There are standards. When I first came here I found it to serve a fine cheese slice. Nothing special but up to spec. My opinion went way up though once I had their grandma slice. Easily one of the best grandma slices I've had in NYC. Bangin sauce packed full of flavor. Go here and get the Grandma it's a special slice in a city known for pizza. Good guys run the place as well.

Best stand up classic Brooklyn Pizza in the area. Nothing fancy or "special" about it other than that you can't find this kind of quality in this type of slice anymore. They used to be on Manhattan Ave and closed. Probably priced out in the rent, but I was pleasantly surprised to find them here on Norman Ave recently. So glad to still have them nearby when I crave a "slice."

My husband and I travel through Manhattan and the boroughs for work frequently. We've taken it upon ourselves to start trying as many pizza places as possible and keeping a list. I have to say that this place is one of my favorite. They're white pie and their vodka are amazing! The vodka is in my top three 😋 And my husband really enjoyed the pepperoni and the sausage! If this is in your neighborhood this should definitely be a go-to for you!

I've tried both Upside pizza and Russ Pizza (both in greeenpoint and nearby) got to say I actually prefer here they give you a larger wide slice the cheese is stretchy which the last time i had pizza that was this stretchy has to be Joe's Pizza its definitely on my top 5 as a native New Yorker. Some people might hate this but you know a pizza is good when you step into the pizzeria the smoke and smell hits you making your eyes water. I love how if you order more than one slice you'll get a pizza box not a lot of pizza spots in NYC does that I'm so grateful for it Definitely my new go to spot

Its a relief to find authentic New York City style pizza in NYC. The last few decades have seen a trend towards overpriced small pie pizza that caters to a different demographic. Generally they serve a version of Neapolitan style pizza. (thin crunchy bitter crust) in small pie sizes with extravagant toppings and superfluous combinations. When you just need a real NY slice, and not one covered in siracha or spicy honey, there’s still hope and it’s here.

Just what you’d expect from a neighborhood pizzeria in New York! Freshly made pizza, lots of cheese, basil, herbs and a lovely crisp crunch to the crust. Guys serving were also manning the oven were very friendly. Limited seating inside and a couple of tables outside. Definitely recommend!

I like the pizza here but they never have Grandma Pizza when they open. Very frustrating. They should have it ready before they open because it's popular. My dad has a pizza place.....at 9:30am he starts making the pizzas and has 9 different pizzas ready for customers by the time he opens. Have grandma pizza at all times so customers can enjoy.

Delicious !!! There really is something different about pizza in New York they say it's the water I gotta believe it. Ordered a slice of Sicilian pizza came out crunchy on the bottom melting cheese on the top really great lunch. Dairy Queen store inside the staff was exceptionally friendly. I highly recommend this place.

I used to love this spot but the pizza recipe has changed since new owners took over. The crust is now much thicker and they put way too much cheese on the regular slice. Sometimes the crust isn’t cooked enough because of the insane amount of cheese. If they could only go back to what they were doing before… alas I think I’ll have to find a new spot. The pizza just isn’t good right now!

We came later at night due to the high reviews but sadly the slides were somewhat stale and not heated through. I’d say the pizzas are on the thicker side to my taste, but that’s just a personal preference.

Grandma pizza is outstanding, probably the best thing they offer. Other pizza is mediocre or average at best. Beware, ask for an itemized receipt when purchasing more than a few slices. We were overcharged $10 compared to the menu prices.

No chance this pizza can be the highest rated in Greenpoint. Had a pepperoni, and a white slice. Both were bland, tasteless, and wasn’t even reheated properly. The dough was too thick, quite doughy, had a lot of chew. A shame. I’ll stick with Paulie Gees or Lindustrie from here on out. A lot to improve for me to be back.

This is not a NY slice. Their pizza is ridiculously thick. I asked for a pepperoni slice and I got a regular topped with a few pepperoni slices- not the same thing. Watery sauce and oily law quality cheese…that and a soda cost me 7.5. I can get a better slice for a buck

This use to be some of the best pizza in NYC when owned by the 2 Italians - since changing owners, the pizza is mid at best. The customer service was awful and the pizza itself is lack luster now. The staff didn’t know what to charge per pie and made up prices on the spot. The recipes for everything has also changed, and the quality has noticeably declined. A bit heartbroken, as I’ve been coming here for years and it never disappointed in the past.

Omg! Pizza was bad, no flavor, I ordered two penne alla vodka one with chicken and one without, they put cheese on the penne alla vodka, who does that, just plain gross. The chicken roll was nasty and dried, and they forgot my salad. Don't order from here!

Used to love this spot, probably picked up from here dozens of times. Haven’t come in a while, but they must have lost their minds. 35$ for for a half regular half veggie pie. Rationale was that apparently it’s 3$ a topping. I guess it’s 10$ for like 6 pieces of broccoli and 3 pieces of pepper? Apparently I look like a schmuck. It probably would have been cheaper to just get individual slices. I know pricing in greenpoint is stupid, but next time I’ll go to old reliable Russ instead.

My gf and I came in for a slice of pizza and the guy at the counter acted like he never seen black people before. He was rude and passive aggressive and we literally saw him do none of that to the white guy that ordered before us. DO NOT EAT HERE. It was a Friday at 3:40pm. Disgusting.
