Bought a take out, was the first customer that day. service was great, food came out with decent time frame. Fresh sushi and not so much rice on the rolls. Not a fan of the age chicken though, it could've tasted better. Salmon teriyaki was good. They take cards with a charge fee.

Ordered a spicy tuna roll,a crunch roll and one wasabi tobiko. The crunch roll was ok, but not well made. The spicy tuna wasn't good and the tobiko was scarce(mostly rice). Even the ginger & wasabi were bitter tasting. Can not even come close to Arirang! I think I'm done with this place

The restaurant is located in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn. They prepare Japanese cuisine. I ordered two bento boxes. One bento box with grilled eel over rice and the second bento box with sushi. Both boxes were good. The boxes included California rolls. Both were not good. They had no taste and both broke apart when I attempted to eat them. Both boxes included seaweed salad but it was a small amount.

Food not bad, food really taste good... but waitress was absolutely unrespectable !!! I been here few times to give a chance to this place, I was kind and tell them please and thank you, and answer was only sound "mhh " with closed mouth 🙄 I left 3$ tips and maybe at the last place came back 🙌🏼

My visit to Ichi Sushi Brooklyn was deeply disappointing, and I would not recommend it to anyone. The overall experience was a letdown, from the chaotic atmosphere to the subpar food and questionable service practices. The restaurant was in a state of disarray. Cluttered and messy, the tables felt chaotic and uninviting. To make things worse, a sign stating a $50 minimum charge per person was displayed on the table, which I found off-putting and unprofessional. The service was abysmal. Our server was more interested in chatting with a friend (in what sounded like Chinese, or another language I couldn't understand) than in paying attention to us or any other diners. It was almost impossible to get their attention, and they seemed completely apathetic to their duties. The food itself was a significant letdown. While not entirely inedible, the sushi was decidedly low-quality. The fish had a unpleasantly fishy taste, which is a major red flag for any sushi restaurant. The rice was overcooked and mushy, turning each piece of sushi into a flavorless, watery mush. The entire meal lacked any distinct or appealing flavors. To add insult to injury, the final bill included an automatic 18% gratuity. Despite this automatic charge, our server still had the audacity to ask for an additional tip. This practice felt dishonest, especially given the complete lack of service we received. Ultimately, my experience at Ichi Sushi Brooklyn was a regrettable one. The combination of poor service, low-quality food, and shady business practices makes it a place I will never return to and will actively discourage others from visiting.

Not very impressed with this place. I was disappointed that they do not serve calamari rolls but when the server suggested the fried calamari, I was happy to order it to my surprise the portion was not what I am use to...the food was o.k. and so was the service but I have had better sushi elsewhere.

The sushi was awful. I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt and came several times to see if it would be any better. But Everytime I went it was a huge disappointment. The menu has a huge selection and the sushi looks very appealing but the taste is a huge let down from flavor to quality. On top of the poor taste , they charge an automatic 18 percent service charge!! Which is insane! I will never give this place a chance again.

The pictures can speak for itself… the rice to fish ratio is absurd. Awful quality, not fresh, and could work on customer service. Asked twice for water. This is insanity.

It's rare that I give 1 star but the food and service was absolute trash. I ordered the soft shell crab appetizer which was disgusting and inedible. I also ordered the scorpion roll which comes in the shape of a scorpion which was pretty cool. It consists of 12 pieces of soft shell crab sushi pieces and all I could taste was the rice. The sushi wasn't fresh at all and was also flavorless, dry, and stiff. It definitely wasn't made fresh today and was probably stored in the fridge for a day or 2. I also ordered the chicken teriyaki which was so disappointing I couldn't believe what I was looking at. They boiled some chicken and poured some sauce & sesame seeds on top of it. The chicken wasn't even grilled, sautéed, or seasoned. Just bland, boiled unseasoned flavorless chicken. Absolutely disgusting!! It came with miso soup which had these weird pieces of tofu in it which the soup was also gross. Even the sake was nasty. I love sake and have never tasted bad sake but they definitely have some. I was super uncomfortable as the female waitress was standing there watching & staring at me while I ate practically the whole time. She even at one point sat across from me and had a loud obnoxious conversation in her language with the other employee. It was so rude & unprofessional. They charged me 15% gratuity and still printed out the gratuity slip and stapled it to the front of the bill where you sign after using your credit card. You included the tip already so why would I give you any more of my money. Why has the world become so greedy!!! This is hands down the worst sushi I have ever tasted. Everything was nasty!!! Feels riped off ordering their special roll. I ordered their dragon roll to go. If you look at my pics, all you can see is cucumber, the cheapest ingredients, barely see any eel at all. Better off ordering a eel avocado roll, there will be more eel than their dragon roll. This should be call a cucumber roll, not a dragon roll.
