We walked past this place one night and decided to go for breakfast in the morning and we are so glad we did! The chilaquiles and the lox bagel were delicious. I recommend the hashbrowns as well. We went on Sunday morning around 10 and Waited for 25 mins for a table.
The staff member was handsome and had the most wonderful smile, and the food was delicious! Is this place really open 24 hours a day? That’s incredible. Thank you so much for such a lovely time during a heavy snowstorm. I was worried about the weather, but this place was truly comforting and healing. 🙏 I sincerely hope this restaurant continues for a very long time.
Walked in for 2 guests Sunday morning around 9:51/9:30am - able to get seated right away at the counter. Nostalgic vibe in the restaurant - bar stools, chrome touches, lit up pastry display case… very old school and I love it. Hot coffee, delicious breakfast - I don’t know how they cook their eggs but they were phenomenal. I want to go back and try to strawberry pretzel salad or maybe a milkshake. Run, don’t walk, to Kellog’s! Be advised there was a line w / a bit of a wait by the time we left around 10:15/10:30.
Writing this review because I had the BEST experience at Kelloggs tonight because of our server, Bryan! He was amazing! I’ve come to Kelloggs a few times in the past but haven’t thought to write a review until now. I really enjoy the old diner ambiance and appreciate the variety of menu items. This time, I came searching for the disco fries I got last time. I didn’t see them on the menu and had no idea they were only apart of the late night offerings until I asked. I decided to order a side of fries and queso, but Bryan surprised me by bringing over some of the gravy that they had prepped for later that night! It was such a nice surprise, and I really appreciated the gesture. I guess I am making this review as a PSA that the disco fries are only a late night menu item and also to shoutout Bryan for his hospitality!!
This place is awesome and the whole neighborhood knows it. The food is great and the coffee is really good. Very fresh. This was the coldest day of the year and the place was so slammed that people were waiting outside. If you are in Williamsburg, Brooklyn this is a solid play. Enjoy!
Lively diner right by the subway. Long wait though service is quick. Cocktail is strong and unique. Food was tasty and the server was attentive. Good spot for a comfortable brunch.
This is a great place. We went on a Wednesday mid mornjng, so there was no wait. We had great servive, everyone was pleasant. I had the short rib sweet potato has - AMAZING! I love eggs so I ordered extra.
First timer at the diner and I will be back! Food was extremely delicious. We got the patty melt and chilaquiles with steak. The star was the chilaquiles, the steak was melt in your mouth. Everything was flavorful and hot. The dinner was clean and I really loved the pink touch! Our server was extremely kind and the whole staff was attended. We were offered water several times. I would highly recommend!
Albert the marvelous host and security guard took excellent care of us, as he always does. This evening, someone tried to start a fight with us and between Albert and the manager we felt very well protected. They handled the situation quickly and professionally. We are all grateful. Food is delicious and great vibes.
Got proposed to by a friend and then immediately asked to tattoo him using a ballpoint pen here. I barely knew the guy and I am no tattoo artist. But the food was great and so was the vibes, so I stayed sat with the guy until my plate was cleared. Food so good it can help you forget the whiplash of all the random things life throws at you. No to the guy but yes to the chilaquiles.
Some friends and I came in around 4:30am give or take on a Monday night after trying to hit another diner that was closed but it was a blessing in disguise. When we walked in we were greeted by what i believed to be the security guard named Albert and he opened the door for us with a smile and amazing service! Then the well dressed clean cut host walked us to our table where we then ordered the food with our waitress who seemed a little shy but was still amazing! The food was so good even at super late hours I ordered the huevos rancheros and they were genuinely so good ! Attached is a photo but it is blurry due it being a screenshot. My friends also enjoyed their meals and milkshakes ! I want to add that the bathroom was freshly cleaned when I went with multiple brand new toilet paper rolls. The overall vibe of the place was so good everyone was super kind , the food was delicious , the place was clean and the food came out fast ! Thank you Kellogg diner I’ll be back !!
Growing up in this area I’ve spent years going to this diner, my family and I spent so much time here. Going into my 20s I also learn it’s a great spot to end your Friday/Saturday night, seeing as they’re 24 hours, I’d also recommend it for a Sunday recovery after a long weekend. They’ve made so many changes over the years and there recent renovations bring a new aesthetic but still staying true to their original vibe. It’s a neighborhood go to and I genuinely love it here.
This was such a great move. I got the masa pancakes and they were delicious. my girlfriend got two eggs (scrambled) and they were also top notch. bonus was they give you my favorite hot sauce! (valentina) i was delighted they played some of my favorite classic rock songs like crazy train, creep, and bohemian rhapsody. i mean cmon how awesome is that. they also gave us free little cups of orange juice. this place initially felt over priced but i guess thats just the times. plus its new york so i mean isnt everything expensive here? the only negative thing is the syrup bottles. as you can see from my attached video they drip down the side of the bottle when you open it so you have to watch out because its a little unpredictable. but isnt life unpredictable sometimes? i know mine is. the waiter was incredibly nice. amazing service.
Really enjoyed my experience at Kellogg’s Diner. Delicious and simple Tex Mex inspired diner fare at good prices. I think their reviews carried over from before the renovation, as the restaurant was packed and every plate we got was delicious. Recommend for a good bite In Williamsburg. The migas was delicious, same with the short rib hash.
They hit me on the spot. They serve good food as a diner, the server was kind and friendly, prices were reasonable. Chill vibes for families, couples and solo visitors. 🦐Shrimp & grits might not be best of the best but good enough with big and fresh shrimps on it. Taste was flavorful but not too intense. 🍫🍪🍦ice cream sandwich was fire! Rich chocolate with crunchy hazelnut around. Highly recommende!!
After an afternoon spent dancing in the rain, the glow of the neon lights promised a cozy respite. When we went inside, I immediately loved the colorful paper flags strung about the space. It added a festive flare to this retro diner. The food was spectacular and reasonably priced (by New York standards). I really appreciated the vegan and vegetarian options, and I ordered the veggie enchiladas. They were rich and hearty, and I loved the kale and sweet potato. The coconut custard pie was divine— fluffy whipped cream, creamy custard, and a crunchy shortbread crust. A great experience!

Had the Rueben both times! It was that good! big servings, quick service and good prices. They take great care of this place.
Ist time dining here. They actually have a working pay phone. Pleasant servers. The server could have checked in a bit more but he was still nice. We had two of his recommendations and they were good. I had the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans. Pretty tasty and deviled eggs as an appetizer. The deviled eggs were a bit salty but not bad. I would go again if in the area.
You come here for the vibes more than the food, and that’s the deal! It’s a must-try for tourists wanting to experience an American diner straight out of a movie. One of us had the chicken soup with mac and cheese, and the other ordered the grilled cheese sandwich. The food was a bit salty but still good. Portions aren’t very big, but fair for the price. The staff was accommodating, though you do get the feeling you’re not meant to linger too long. A little sad we didn’t get to try the desserts… maybe next time!
Came here on 2 occasions, once for brunch and then once at 4am after a party. It does it all! The eggs and rice in the picture were very spicy- so much so I couldn't eat it and I'm usually quite good with spice. My mistake it said jalapeño, but Aussie jalapeños are not that hot ahha Food was good and the vibe of the place felt very American diner.
everything hit the mark except the pie wasn’t as great as i thought it would be, coulda been stale or exposed in a fridge for a while i couldn’t tell but the flavor didn’t pop. love the cashew queso though and overall everything was seasoned well and service was really great. can’t wait to come back with a big group and try everything!

Nice to find a spot open for food after midnight! We ordered the meatloaf dinner, a stack of pancakes and a tuna melt. All very good! Perfunctory service, but got the job done.
I'm not sure what I was expecting from a 24 hour diner when I went here (sober) after some Friday evening drinks, but sadly it wasn't my vibe and the food was not great.., I had the broccoli rabe melt which was pretty greasy and bland, and my friends had a turkey club which they couldn't finish. We shared fried pickles which were greasy and unpleasant. Staff were generally friendly, but I'm not sure I'd visit again, at least not at night!
I'm giving this spot 3.5 stars. It was a mixed bag with some true "hits" and a few "misses." Our service got off to a rough start. After being seated, we waited a solid ten minutes before a waiter finally came over. When we did try to order, there was some confusion—our waiter repeatedly asked about an appetizer despite us saying no. However, once we finally ordered our main courses, the food came out quickly. The Hits (Must-Try Dishes) Guajillo Braised Short Rib Hash: Fantastic! This was the star of the meal. It had a wonderful depth of flavor—savory with a hint of smokiness and a hint of heat. The potatoes were cooked perfectly (even the skin-on ones, which I usually avoid), and the short rib itself was perfectly tender. My only minor complaint is that there was too much gristle on the short rib. The eggs on top were over-hard (I wish they'd asked my preference), but still good. I would absolutely order this again. The Veggie Burger: A complete hit with everyone at the table. It was moist, flavorful, and had a great, homemade texture. The fries served with it were on point. Definitely a must-get. The Misses Chicken Fried Steak: This dish was interesting—it had a nice crust, flavorful gravy, good mashed potatoes, and green beans. Unfortunately, the steak itself was really dry and tough. It completely slid out of the crust and was very difficult to cut. The Patty Melt: This was just decent. Final Thoughts on Service and Atmosphere The service was not great overall. We waited a long time after the meal and eventually had to flag down our waiter just to get the bill. On the bright side, the restaurant was clean, had a kind of old-school vibe, and the prices were not bad for NY. I would go again just for the Short Rib Hash
Average food in a well designed place. If you’re from the Tristate area, you’ll be disappointed. If you’re not, you’ll think this diner is “amazing.” We got the burger + fries, cortado, and the ricotta pancakes with blueberries. Everything is just fine, mediocre, middle of the road etc. the burger patty was missing salt (!) but the bun was good, fries were overbaked, cortado was good, but the ricotta pancakes were a huge letdown despite the reviews. For the price point and location, you’d expect more, but it’s just fine. You’ll probably come back. It’s just ok.
Every time I come to Kellogg’s, I’m hoping it’ll redeem itself and I keep leaving feeling “eh.” The decor is beautiful and I’m glad there’s a place open late night. The times I’ve come, the food has been mostly okay, but the service tonight was subpar. I dined solo tonight around midnight on a weekday, and while the restaurant was pretty empty, it took a long time for the server to come back and check on me. I had to do the “turn around and look for the server” move a few times, and while someone who I assume is a floor manager came and cleared my table, it still took some time for my main server to come. Food was fine, but I want more from this place.

Food was okay until my wife found a long black hair in her chicken and waffles. Staff members are hard to flag down. When we did, we just got a weird look and no apology. 2/3s of the plate was still there. They finally came back five minutes later to ask if we wanted replacement food. No thanks, just take it off the check. My first warning that the food was going to be mid was that the guests were 99.9% Caucasian. They also allow pet dogs in the restaurant. Also, didn’t get one refill on my coffee. Isn’t that the point of a diner? 🫥
