The staff is super friendly and this location has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. There's a wide variety of weekly events for both kids and adults, and the food is great. Super cheap happy hour prices as well!
We attended a kids birthday party here. Host was great and the kids ages 5-6 had a great time making their own pies. Pizza was delicious!
The best vegan pizza I know! It’s always wonderful to go to Two Boots anywhere in the city, and this location is no exception.
Stopped in to grab 2 slices, pizza was really good, finally something a bit different to most others. Service was 👍🏻 Will be back 💯
I only went once, got a free beer at a comedy show. It's worth stopping by for sure.
A nice quiet little spot for a peaceful little bite. Nice quality to price ratio and a very good glass of iced latte. They bake all their desserts on premises. Karen Michaels Moss
Just some of the best, most interesting pizza in the city. The crust is spectacular, and their delivery game is much improved during these weird times.
I loved the pizza! The reason why, though, is because of the pleasingly unusual toppings. You should come. (If you're near 5th Ave on the borderline of Gowanus and Park Slope).
Just came from there lovely staff I got to chat a little while with jasmine and she is lovely pizza is delicious like always you can never go wrong with a glass of red wine
Came here late on Superbowl night. Ordered a small vegan pizza and it EXCEEDED my expectations! Pizza was extremely filling and worth the price. My friend got the buffalo chicken pizza and also enjoyed his meal. This place has a nice ambiance and the employee was extremely nice and patient with us. Its pretty close to Barclay's center so it is a good choice for any pizza cravings after shopping at Atlantic mall!
Holy smokes. This place is amazing. Bought a white pizza with spinach, fresh tomatoes and fresh garlic -- best pizza I've had. Also, the vibe is really amazing inside, they had this funky music on and really artsy decor. Easy 5 stars.
DELICIOUS! The corn meal crust is unlike anything I’ve had before and I loved it! Some good vegetarian and vegan options too!
Absolutely yummy pizza with lots of vegan and vegetarian options . Moderate priced for park slope . Definitely check it out! Two boots is probably my favorite place to get pizza , it's to me like fancy pizza ! Love the fresh ingredients and the pesto yum ! 15 dollars for a 12 inch pie with lots of toppings . Well worth it and they are filling as hell , 1 12 inch pie was enough for my boyfriend n I to share
Excellent slices. Proper ny slice, little bit floppy. Also maybe a little light with the extra cheese, but never the less delicious. Owner is a great guy, super friendly. Place is very clean and has plenty of tables. Cool brick styling. Prices are also pretty reasonable.
The vegan pizza is mind-blowingly good. The homemade pesto sauce is so tasty I get mine without the Daiya vegan cheese so I can focus on the pesto. The vegan sausage is REALLY GOOD too. It's not on the menu but I always get it. I'm sure the non-vegan pizza must be good too :)
Two Boots is the best! Distinctive taste, corn meal crust, all fresh ingredients this is the best pizza in Brooklyn ... and unlike any other pizzeria in the country. The Two Boots, are Louisiana and Italy ... so the mash up of cuisines borne out in flavors are an artisnal culinary delight to be savored and treasured. I prefer mine with a fountain drink, and Two Boots delivers.
Stopped by on Sunday the pies were amazing, and the staff was super helpful in walking us through the menu.
The vegan pizza was one of the best slices of pizza I have ever had. Reasonably priced beers on tap, good atmosphere, and fast, friendly service. Definitely worth it.
This pizza was so good. My five year old Who is the pickiest eater alive loved every single bite of the regular slice. Defiantly a great place to get some good pizza.
The best pizza ever! I love it! I have been there many times and every time I enjoy their pizza, beer on tap and delicious cookies! Highly recommended place to go out!
I tell you what, I had been meaning to stop by this place, and I am so glad i did. They have some of the most amazing vegan pizza I have ever had. Part of me wishes I hadn't stopped in because now I am gonna be all up in the joint gettin' my fix. (Solid beer lineup as well)
Only order their cheese pizza but I love it. I stumbled on their Manhattan location some years back and was surprised to see them in Brooklyn, I think there’s two locations in Brooklyn. Hope Queens is next. Same great taste.
sometimes i miss the Two Boots I grew up with, but now that i can't digest lactose (getting old amirite?), i LOVE the ability to grab a vegan slice without special ordering an entire pie ❤️ every version of you, two boots!!
I am a regular in the area and the service here is always fantastic. They are always friendly and welcoming. Other bad reviews are simply untrue, I come here all the time. Not once have I had a negative experience and the staff, especially the girl behind the counter are always working hard to go above and beyond for customers.
Pizza with a difference. Crunchy crust and creative toppings. Worth a try for sure!
Good pizza, no weird pricing games.
Tasty and original. A NYC classic. Pies reflect the hippie spirit of the New Orleans transplant that founded this institution. Thin crust, spicy sauce, and brilliant topping combinations. More than just pizza, live entertainment most evenings satisfy both social and slice cravings.
Our Friday go to for Pizza Night! Unique options, crispy crust with cornmeal. They also have a tasty gluten free crust option.
Whats not to love about two boots? Maybe the prices.... But its worth it. My Bff and I always make our own pie with shrimp, crawfish, mushrooms, and fresh garlic. Heavenly!!! My fiancee loves the Bayou Beast with spicy peppers and andoullie sausage. Their crazy pizzas are great for anytime. On Wednesdays they do a great comedy show at the parkslope location. (Not for the kids) Hilarious! Go and grab a pie and some beets with friends. You won't regret it.
I contacted two boots a couple of months ago to see if they can accommodate about 20 people (kids and adult) for a casual pizza lunch. Zack was friendly, prompt, accommodating and helpful! It was super casual and easy and today, when we have the party, it was perfect! The pizza was delicious ! Thank you so much!
True gem of a pizza joint... Creative specialty pizzas, great prices, and Zack served up the slices and beer deftly, quickly and with a smile. Great for lunch, or for a quick bite before going out. Good draft selections on tap too.
Had the special cheese slice and diet soda for $4.50 Got another sausage slice. Very tasty and unique pizzas. Nice music in the place. I charged my electric scooter too. No problems. Everything was under $10.00. Great price for such great pizza. Will definitely be back to get some more pizza and sandwiches too. Two thumbs up.
Ordered 2 Gluten-free vegan pies. They forgot to make one of them Gluten-free so they had to remake it when we arrived for pickup, but it wasn't a big deal and they made it right away.
Arrived here at 12:57 AM and some slices right before closing. The staff we interacted with was SO nice. The pizza was delicious and I loved that they had a vegan slice with some veggie pepperoni.
Will happily drive across brooklyn for their Meet the Vegan Mets pizza with jalapeño pesto. I would go to another vegan pizzeria closer to me but two boots blows them out of the water by far. Crust brings it home every time. I just add a bit of salt when it’s done for my personal liking. If you’re a vegan order this you wont regret it!
Awesome atmosphere with great pizza selections and beers. Also, the Tuesday comedy shows are hilarious!
I had been looking for good pizza in Brooklyn believe it or not and now i can happily say this is the Best pizza I’ve had in NYC! I am soooo glad I gave it a try. I recommend buying a fresh pie! I had the Larry Tate and it was scrumptious from crust to to fresh toppings. I will be back and I will be bringing friends/family here. Thanks for good quality pizza!
Expensive, but tasty. Their sausage was very flavorful, unlike the salty greasy sausage you usually find on pizza. They also offer lots of high quality veggi toppings. Their cornmeal crust made the pizzas texture very interesting (in a good way). Highly recommend!
Not only do they make the best vegan pizza in south Brooklyn, they also have outstanding customer service! Eating in has this really cool vibe. It almost feels like you're more in a bar that also makes pizza kinda place (in a good way). That gives it a much more laid back feeling than a traditional pizza shop.
This wonderful place has a family ambience that's mellow and mature, the cleanliness add to the fact that you can see them prepare your food before your eye just takes this place several notches up in my book! Omg their very vegan pizza is out of this world!! Yes they put mushrooms on it nice thin slices, but if you don't like mushrooms you can request what you wish. I've had this vegan " vegan gold"lol several times and it just keeps going back for more!!! Great job guys!
Love me some Two Boots! V for Vegan is delicious and has been my favorite slice even before I was vegan/vegetarian/seagan. Great options. Really fun pizzas. Great delivery too. Never any leftovers, it's just too good!
Always good. So many vegan options that are so tasty you don't have to be vegan to enjoy it. The service is always kind and they play sports on a few screens and serve tap beer.
Visited two boots in Park Slope, Brooklyn NYC. Grabbed a vegan slice. Best vegan slice in NYC IMHO. Blew my mind. Can't wait to come back. Had the dog so did take away
Love two boots!! I really miss their old restaurant but I’m glad this still exists. The concept is amazing and the pizza is very good. They have lots of creative options and dietary choices for everyone. Pizza can get really expensive these days and this isn’t that bad. Getting dinner for under $20 including tax and tip feels very rare but you can do it here! Was a comfy place to eat w/ friends and chat for a couple hours. Cozy and warm.
I thought I had tasted the best pizzas in Brooklyn but I was wrong. We had dinner here and it was absolutely delicious. The crust is amazingly thin and crunchy, just how I like it. We ordered a slice of Cleopatra Jones and Giglio and a personal-size gluten-free pepperoni. I want to go back soon!
Great vegan-friendly place to grab some quick slices for a very reasonable price! Seeing all their vegan pie options online had me sold so I stopped by and was pleased to find out you can order by the slice. They had 2 vegan pizzas ready-made so I was able to try a slice of each and they were both great (especially the one with the pesto). I’m only here for a week and I’ll probably be back next time I need a quick meal in the neighborhood.
I haven't been for quite some time. (I live in a neighborhood with a lot of great pizza places.) Having said that, the slice I had at Two Boots today was fantastic. I can't recall if the pizza is always this good, but if so, get your butts over here! 😃
Ordered from here several times in person.I bought two slices. I've tried the regular meats pizza. I've also tried the vegetarian meats pizza. Both were excellent. I liked the vegetarian pizza so much I wound up buying a whole pie to take home. They have an excellent crust made with flour and cornmeal. Nice and crunchy.Very unique flavors and spices. I highly recommend them.
Visited here via Too Good To Go since I was Brooklyn, and got the "Dinner" option. Service was quick. I received 4 large pizza slices of different varieties: margherita, cheese, buffalo chicken and an "everything" slice (buffalo chicken missing from the pic because I ate it 😂). All tasted great and the atmosphere was amazing. I wish this had locations in the Bronx.
While this is not the most classic NYC style pizza, they have really creative ingredients (Cajun style anyone?) and high quality as well. I’m a meat eater but there are also great vegetarian/vegan options as well. Definitely something unusual and different as compared to most pizzerias in the city.
A reminder to vegans or vegetarians or vegetable lovers, who also eat meat: this is a place for you. I usually only get vegetarian or vegan here, and the slices deliver on flavor: red peppers, mushrooms, cheese, sauces; these slices are packed with deliciousness and so crispy! love the cornmeal crust. Beats the regular slice any day of the week.
I used to have my Pizza at their location in the Upper East, and I am happy to find they have one here. Might be little expensive for some of the options, but at least the food absolutely worth it! I had decent slice here, and my sister had the vegan meal, both tasted good enough, and for sure worth a positive review.
Really enjoy the unique selection of pizza slices, and the corn meal crust. Liked it so much we had them cater our wedding! My only gripe that gets 4 stars is sometimes theyre not always the friendliest, but never rude, just a great place to grab a slice.
Everything about this place is great; it's clean, amazing customer service, and the pizza tastes good as well. The only reason it didn't get 4 stars was because their pizza was slightly too thin and could have been cooked a bit longer. Otherwise, good experience.
I would go as far as to say this place has the best pizza in Park Slope (I’ve been to a ton of others like La Villa, Smiling pizza, Pino’s, Nanna rosa, and others). The only downside is delivery and staff. Some of the staff just seem like they are having a bad day, everyday. When you order delivery, your pizza may have the cheese falling off. The best pizza but staff and delivery aren’t the best.
Lapin and I came here after our painting class that was not to far from here. Unlike other Two Boots we went visited, this one had a full bar and a public bathroom. The server was nice and served us our pizza quickly and on par with other Two Boots restaurants. It was around 10pm when we went and the place was laid back but lively. Only qualm is a couple homeless people came in and out, one actually followed us out of the door and down the block yelling at us to give him money for some slices.
Great pizza by the slice. With some unusual but delicious toppings. They have a special oven to reheat your slice so it nice and crisp.
First time I've been to Two Boots since they moved to 5th Ave. I'm still a sucker for a cornmeal dusted crust. The toppings were a little hit or miss compared to what I remember from the past but the plain cheese pizza was warm from the oven and tasty. The one with sausage and hot cherry peppers had a nice kick to it too.
Love the vegan pizza. It's really the best! The staff can be a little stand offish and sometimes of day it's filled with lots of little kids which can be not so lovely when you want to eat and relax. Otherwise a great stop for a vegan slice, one of the few pizzarias that offer this!
Really good pizza with tasty crust and lots of options for a quick slice. Atmosphere is nothing noteworthy but very solid for a chill lunch or to grab something on the go.
I’m training for a marathon and whenever I’m in training mode, my carbo-load fuel of choice is pizza (and potato chips, but that’s another story). I just moved to NYC and never thought much about New York-style pizza. =X But now that I’m here, I am obsessed! On average, I buy a large pizza every week and pretty much ravage my way through it. I’m eating my way through Two Boots vegan menu. I’m currently stuck on the Super Vegan. I’m a creature of habit. When I find something I like, I tend to go back to it at the expense of others. But that shiitake mushroom with broccoli and red onions on basil pesto is *chef’s kiss*. I promise I’ll eventually get to the other options. I love that there are so many vegan pies to choose from! Thank you Two Boots for making a convert out of me.
An excellent vibe, wonderful music, friendly team, and delicious 🍕 pizza. I finally had a chance to stop in to have two slices. I enjoyed the taste of "The Buckminter" slices. O yes, check out the bathroom it's clean. I always check out the bathroom for cleanliness. That will tell you much about a restaurant. Two Boots past the test. I recommended this pizza spot when you are in Park Slope.
Their vegan is decent if that's your thing. Most of their slices are good enough, but they lack variety and aren't a good choice if you're a meat lover.
I love two boots. especially when you walk in a buy a slice. Thin crispy crust, just the right amount of cheese. BUT their delivery pizza is sort of like a Dominoes pizza. Gummy and over cheesy. Thick crust. I just don't get it!!! Why can't they make the same level of quality pizza for take out / delivery.
I normally love this location, but lately when I order only vegan pizzas I feel they go really slim on the toppings. In particular the vegan meat. It’s a bit misleading, especially since their meat pizzas are quite heavy with toppings while being the same (or less) in price.
Love the concept but the execution is not it. I’m dairy free but I eat meat, so I ordered the Cleopatra, add pepperoni, substitute vegan cheese. First issue is there was barely any sausage on it, it was weird little crumbles as if they ran out and just gave me the crumbs. Second issue is the sausage was disgusting. Idk if they gave me the vegan sausage because I ordered vegan cheese but it was gross. Advice: don’t skimp on the toppings for a $20 SMALL pizza and don’t assume that someone wants vegan meat because they ordered vegan cheese. Follow the order exactly as placed by the customer. It’s not that hard.
Hi im not sure if it's a pizza problem or something with me but it seems like majority of times when i go there for lunch and get a afternoon special i get really naesous and vomit after a few minutes or get a really bad stomach ache afterwards but overall the pizza is good its just that i get really sick afterwards
Loved the last pizza we ordered for delivery 2 months ago. Waited for one hour and 40 minutes for delivery tonight, and the pizza did not have much of our3 toppings on it we paid dearly for. Extremely disappointing.
Please be careful if you have celiac or any auto immune disease! Their gf crust is delicious (if you get it). But the other night I tried to order gf pizza three times and now I have 5 pizzas in my refrigerator that I can’t eat… not sure who’s fault it is (app, me, the restaurant) but when I called they were pretty unbothered by the amount of money I had spent and the fact that.. oh I don’t know… I have a pretty serious autoimmune disease and needed to eat... Make sure you know what the gf crust looks like (Thin) before eating if you are only ordering gluten free, friends! Hopefully you can speak to a human who cares about your health :)
Used to like em, but these days the crust keeps coming well-done and flavorless/dry with barely any sauce/cheese
So I ordered a meatball Parm Cajun po boy it’s supposed to be on garlic bread, it’s not. They just burnt the bread so i guess that’s the Cajun part smh it’s very sloppily put together and I’m pretty sure this is just 2 cut up meatballs on regular bread with sauce and cheese. The delivery man just stood by the door once I buzzed him in instead of coming up the stairs. I greeted him said thank you As he cake half way up the stairs and he didn’t say one word. I will never order from them again. Wow!
The vegan calzone tastes a bit too creamy and the garlic knots felt too ‘doughy’. Perhaps I got the late night batch.
I tried three varieties of vegan pizzas, but found none to my liking. The first was excessively oily, while the other two were too dry and lacked flavor. Additionally, they were rather costly.
encountered very bad behavior cashier or server around 9pm Feb 14 Shes a girl with Red hair , not fully hearted to serve the pizza for take out, i asked her she can put the pizza in the plate and put in paper bag cause i am riding a bike and I can’t handle the box and its just 2 slices of pizza vegan pizza to be exact. And she started to said to me in higher voice and she told me I don’t understand her. And i got high temper also and said if you don’t like your job dont work. And she got out in counter area and trying to attack me with lots of bad languages coming on her mouth and one of her friend not working there depended her and we all fight and a girl throw my pizza cause she being so bad and rude Review the CCTV of that area how rude they were. The Red hair girl tells me shes the Manager of the store
Came for the comedy show. Pizza is normally good. The cashier was a bit rude.
Both me and my friend got food poisoning :( I had a vegan slice he had a regular one
I have been to this place many times before and their pizza is good.. But today was very troubling to me as i went in and told the guy behind the counter my order i was on my phone so i really didn't make that much eye contact with the guy who put my order in the oven i just paid for the pizza's he handed to me and sat down to eat. When i finished my pizzas and got up i looked over to the guy to say thank you and thats when i saw he had many large opened uncovered wounds all over his arms neck face and the back of his hands, i was shocked and also disgusted to see that because i ate the food he gave me and he was behind the counter handing people their food.... My question is? Is that not a violation under the health code....? Im very very disappointed because i really liked that place..
You have to give them credit: They have gotten the order wrong every single I've ordered delivery. Consistent service.
So we ordered a pizza for my nephew who's this young child and a small pizza and it was burnt. It was inedible the pepperoni were black so I called up and they offered to make another Pizza which I thought was the appropriate thing to do and I sent my babysitter to pick it up and I'm waiting and I'm waiting and I'm waiting and I finally go there and I say how long is it going to be? It's been more than 25 minutes and the counter person said I don't know where it is. I don't know how long it's going to be. We put the order at the end of all the orders and I said what do you mean you put it at the end of all the orders you had burnt the pizza he said well it's Friday night. We're busy. That's the way we do it and when I told him I was going to make a complaint he said oh spell my name correctly then this is not a place. I'm recommending that my niece and my nephew use again. I've been coming to two boots since they opened in South slope 30 years ago and I will no longer use two boots in Brooklyn, Manhattan or anywhere else. I work too hard for my money to be treated so badly. I don't treat people that I work with that way and I don't expect to be treated that way
Garlic knots in the oven for 20 mins still cold from inside. All the food taste bad and the service sucks.
Our pizza arrived absolutely DESTROYED in the box. You'd have thought the delivery guy had run it over with his scooter. Delivery guy stared at me with a gormless look on his face when I showed him how'd ruined our pizza. Called Two Boots and they said there's nothing they can do. No refund, no replacement pizza. If you like braindead delivery guys, uncaring customer service, and pizza that looks like the left-overs when Oprah had her stomach pumped then Two Boots is the place for you.
I have to say that the pizza was not the same like in Manhattan two boots the dough was raw to much veggies in the pizza very disappointed will not return again
Pizza we order was undercooked. This place doesn’t have the fountain that other locations have in the city. We should’ve order the slices already made was very disappointed .
I went here yesterday, November 20th to get a few slices for my girlfriend and I. Let me start by saying I have no qualms with the service, the young man working the counter was polite and approachable. I ordered a cheese and pepperoni slice for myself, and the two vegan offerings for my girlfriend. However, after I ate I immediately felt nauseous and like I was going to throw up. I wasn’t alone— my girlfriend got sick as well. We have no allergies. Something must have been contaminated, I’m still feeling a bit off 24h later. It sucks because I wanted to like this place, but it will unfortunately be my first and last time going here.
I’d rather have a dominos slice than one from here. The “garlic knots” are sold individually for 1.50 which is pretty weird and they’re more like rolls with a million pounds of oil and burnt garlic. The burnt garlic really kills it giving it a super bitter taste. I don’t know what’s in the water in park slope but the locals seem to enjoy it.
I wish I could leave no stars. So disappointed at the service I received yesterday with my coworkers. The person at the register was unkind and impatient. The food was unseasoned and cold. What was supposed to be a treat for us ended up being terrible. I don't think I'd ever come back
