What an experience. It has been a delight over the last almost decade (how time flies!) seeing Bri (the kids call her Briana aunty!) open her restaurant and grow from humble beginnings to a new location, all the while enduring the pandemic. For so many years, we had wanted to visit and finally got the opportunity, despite the frigid cold—the food and impeccable service warmed us right up! My wife and I had drinks from the bar, which were delicious in every way. The kids even got some Shirley Temples so they didn’t feel left out. All the tacos and the signature chimichanga we ordered were authentic in every way and stuffed our bellies to the point of almost bursting. Luckily we had some room left for dessert! It was a pleasure seeing this wonderful slice of Buffalo. Even better was catching up with family. Sincerely, The Georges

We were excited to try this place on a snowy date night, and for the most part it definitely didn’t disappoint either of us! The service was outstanding from the second we got in there. I wanted to call out the staff member esp who helped us find a table. A crawl made the scene look chaotic when we got there. She got us a table in no time and even led us through the crowd. Especially helpful being our first time there! There’s something missing about the food and atmosphere that isn’t a huge deal. I love the make your own mule concept, and wondered if they could do a make your own taco type thing? This is a great spot for a vegetarian, and you can incorporate a lot of veggies into this corner of the food world, so just some room to continue improving here. Chips could be a lil better quality. Every one of twelve chips I ate was covered in salt. The atmosphere had a quasi cafeteria vibe unless you were seated against the wall. Maybe it’s the setup for part of it. Also the music came in HOT around seven. Kinda took a minute to adjust. But the bar area is massive and gorgeous. Perfect for a bunch of drunk little elves and a thirsty, festive pup that was the scene tonight. The portion sizes for everything were PERFECT. I walked away with a full tummy but didn’t want to make me cry and crawl back down Elmwood. There’s a great variety of options on the menu, and definitely enough to look forward to coming back again sometime real soon!

After hearing a friend talk so highly of Breezy Burrito Bar, I decided to check it out with my sister today and it did not disappoint! Breezy Burrito is located conveniently on Elmwood Ave, making it a great stop before heading out for a night of drinking or a refreshing meal after shopping! All the employees were extremely welcoming and created a fun atmosphere. I would highly recommend the chicken tortilla soup to start! It was a huge portion and the most delicious I’ve had in a while. Our favorite drink was the Spicy Mango Marg! Though the food is moderately priced, the attention to detail in every aspect makes the price worth every penny. Oh! And don’t forget to check out the bathroom (I know it sounds crazy, but I promise!). Overall, Breezy Burrito Bar will definitely become a consistent stop for us!

We had avocado, steak and fish taco. They were really good. Also margaritas were good. We had mango and passion fruit. Service was great. I didn’t quite like the choice is music and was slightly too loud but this is just my personal preference and I am 42 so I guess that’s that lol!

Came here for dinner a few nights ago and highly recommend it. Prices are very fair the total before tip was 59 which was an appetizer, 2 drinks, and 2 meals. The atmosphere is excellent, has a Miami upbeat vibe. The music was on fire and kept you in a good mood. Very friendly staff but a little slow on water refills. We has the tortilla chips for an appetizer which came with guacamole, salsa, and queso. It was more than enough for the two of us and could easily be good for 4 adults. We both had the hex with braised beef and it was absolutely amazing, I'm still think about it. Drinks were excellent and not overpriced. I highly recommend this place for dinner or even just drinks. I will be back.

It is a nice place with indoor and outdoor seating. We ate indoors and the service was good, our food arrived quickly. Though my chicken was tender, the burrito was a little spicy for my liking. The portions are good. The music was loud but I would go again.

I had the street tacos with pork and it was fresh. Flavors were okay. Chips were ok. My frozen margarita was good. And I liked My partner's drink too. My partner liked his dish but he thought it was just okay. My issue is with the slow service. There was only one server and I think she was trying her best but the kitchen was so slow. I wouldn't have mind if our server set the expectation and told us it was going to take more than an hour to get our food. But when we arrived at 8 pm, people were already finishing up their food, so we were expecting faster server. But we didn't get our food until 9:20 pm! That was an almost 1 hour and 30 mins wait. I even had to ask for water and our server never brought out silverware even after I requested it. Was it worth waiting over an hour for the food? Nope. This place isn't for me but if you don't mind waiting and want affordable and decent/average/okay tasting Tacos and drinks with outdoor seating, this place is probably for you. I did enjoy my drink though.

05/05/2023 I ordered a strawberry margarita for $9 cash. The drink is more if you pay with credit card. The drink was OK. I don't know what kind of tequila was it in. A guest sitting next to me ordered Nachos for $16.

The food was below average, drinks were decent but I would only go during happy hour to get a deal. Prices here were high for just tacos, better off going to taco bell. The service was good, friendly wait staff. the nachos were good *included in the happy hour* Entrees not so much, food was bland. Don't waste your money on over priced menu items. I reccomend the happy hour.

Ordered on doordash. Food was absolutely disgusting. The HEX was soggy, meat was super salty. The nacho supreme didn't have sour cream or cheese on it. I will never order from here again.

The bar tender was really nice and sat us . It wasn’t busy maybe two other tables and they had their food .We were the only people ordering food and it took over 25 mins for two orders of street tacos. There was 3 people in the kitchen idk why it took so long .

As fellow residents of Elmwood Village, my husband and I used to love Breezy Burrito. The food was always fantastic, the atmosphere fun and welcoming, and the staff incredibly friendly. We even stopped going to other local bars because we enjoyed the vibe here so much. Unfortunately, last night was such a disappointing experience that we’re genuinely debating whether we’ll return. While the food and drinks were as delicious as ever, the staff’s demeanor was shockingly rude. The main bartender—who I won’t name and who is usually warm and personable—wouldn’t even make eye contact with me. I felt so uncomfortable asking her or the other bartender for anything that I ended up having my husband request things on my behalf every time. That’s embarrassing as a grown adult, and it’s certainly not the kind of atmosphere we’ve come to expect here. When we left, I asked my husband and our friend if I was imagining things—they both agreed it was bizarrely cold and uncomfortable service. I’ve never acted inappropriately here, and I’ve always been polite and tipped well. So I’m left confused as to why a place that once prided itself on friendliness would treat a loyal customer this way. It’s a shame, because Breezy Burrito used to be a place we recommended to everyone. But hospitality matters just as much as the food, and last night it simply wasn’t there.

Went here on a Sunday 9/18 around 1:15 pm. It wasn’t really busy but you could tell they were short staffed. One waitress, one bartender, and two people in the kitchen. We got seated outside. Then it was a long wait to get water, then another wait for them to get our order. Fine. Chalking it up to being short staffed. Then other people’s food and drinks were out. At one point the waitress was talking to the people in the other table. Then she came back again with shots. Then she took the shots with the customer. She was saying something about cheers and wanting the restaurant to be less busy. Talked about how she was working in New York City but because of the pandemic and a break up she went to buffalo. Fine. Story time. But then we haven’t even been brought our appetizers. When it finally came (queso and chips) it was the saddest looking plate of chips I’ve seen. It wasn’t really hot. The queso looked like it came from a can. It wasn’t even that warm and looked just pathetic. I don’t know if the owners or whoever thought about what to serve in this restaurant have ever been to the south but this is NOT how you do queso. Then another forever waiting for the food. At this point we have been seated around 45 minutes and all we have are waters and chips. I asked for an ETA and she said she will check. The next time she came she said the kitchen was backed up. I told them I’ll pay for the chips and I’m going. It took another ten minutes just to run back and forth from the kitchen to get the ticket. I was even told that “it’ll be out in five minutes do you want to wait”. I have had enough so I said no, I just want to go. No warning that the kitchen is backed up. There were lots of tables with people waiting inside and outside. And here’s this server taking shots and sharing life stories with other customers. Couldn’t believe it. I wanted to pay in cash and go, but I made sure to pay with a card to have proof I ate here. An hour wasted because of a poorly run restaurant. Drinks are probably what keep this place afloat and people who think gross microwaved cheese is good food.
