Great spot for brunch! I came here recently on a trip to Buffalo and they accommodated our very last minute reservation for 10 people and were super nice! The vibe is super cute and even though the menu’s not huge, they have some great sweet and savory options. The $5 mimosas were the cherry on top! I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

Omg!! Providence social is the place to be on a Sunday for brunch style food. The mimosas are out of this world and the service is incredible. A beautiful corner house turned into a bar restaurant you will not be disappointed with the homey feel and this location and the food was amazing as well. Lizzie our server and owner made us feel right at home. I have continuously gone back every Sunday since the first review and have tasted a new dish and a new mimosa every time and I’m delighted by the quality of food.

Fast and friendly service with delicious food marked at a moderate price makes for an exceptional experience at this establishment. Lizzy, the owner, was very personable and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here! Will try their bottomless mimosas next time! Highly recommend this place!!

Can we say mimosas? And can I say, best brunch spot, especially during the summer. I have to say though, year after year my pet peeve is the bees! Not sure that they can do much about that but it’s the only thing that usually ruins my good time.

I hadn't been there in awhile.. I was able to get in on a Friday night w/o a reservation which made me very happy. The Covid stuff was all in affect so I felt good about being on their beautiful patio. Our server,Sharon, was the tops! She even got my blue cheese stuffed olives in the Sapphire martinis my wife and I ordered. The menu was limited but the heirloom tomato salad was delicious. The 2 main courses (a blackened 1/2 chicken & the perfectly seared scallops) were great.

I went here on Saturday around 5pm with a couple friends. We sat on the patio which was absolutely beautiful. The food was really good, specifically the Buffalo Chicken Nachos. 10/10 would order again. They also had Loganberry Creme Brulee. I'm a Buffalo girl through and through, so Loganberry is my jam! Definitely enjoyed the experience!

Great service. Get there early for brunch otherwise you may have to wait. Parking is across the street.

Great neighborhood bar! Very chilled atmosphere and friendly, down to earth service. Relaxed and stylish vibe throughout. They make a great old fashioned as well.

This place is a nice local place. The egg benny was delicious and mimosa was amazing! Great place!

I ordered the social salad which was yummy with smoked blue cheese, pickled onions, bacon. Flavors blended nicely. Hubs got the Philly cheesesteak sandwich, which blew me away in flavor. All In all very nice evening, and a last minute trip to their back patio, which is super cozy with several lawn couches and wrought iron tables. Would love to have drinks on their patio next visit ! Deducting a star for the internet saying there's a happy hour, we get there. No happy hour

Been here twice, ordered two completely different entrés and both were spectacular. Like literally some of the BEST breakfast food I’ve ever had. They have bottomless mimosas for only $18 also and a TV outside for bills games. Literally doesn’t get better than this place.

I'm from south Jersey visiting the falls for a friend's bday She wanted mimosas. So we Googled and the first 3 reviews and the pictures sold us. LIZ the owner is a BOSS hands down amazing. The chef knows what he is doing. Staff excellent. Absolutely no complaints about this restaurant. #bottomlessmimosas

Absolutely amazing. Mango and passion fruit mimosas. Beermosas. Steak was perfect. Eggs fluffy as angel food cake. The stuffed French toast is the best I've ever had. Highly recommend!!!

I'll be brief. 1.) excellent food. Smaller portions, if you're a table of 4, get 6-7 plates to share. We must have tried 20 things from the menu so far and have loved every dish. 2.) brunch is unreal. 3.) drinks are very very good but a little pricey at $10/drink. The socialite in the winter became my lifeblood, and their sangria in the summer has taken its place. If you go for drinks, go to happy hour where drinks are half off, or get the daily specials ($5 glass sangria, $2 Utica club/cream ale/Pbr)

What a great patio and the wine selection was spot on. I didn't eat but the food that I saw and smelled was tempting :) This unassuming spot is good for groups as I was there with the alliance Française and I will return again. Highly recommend for a casual upscale spot!!

These guys really do something special. The patio is one of a kind, cool place to try one of their awesome cocktails (I never drink cocktails). Solid food menu and you couldn't ask for anything else from their beer selection. Check it out guys you won't be disappointed

Great food and atmosphere! Took my parents here for brunch and my 72 year old Morher ( who’s been to many restaurants) said it was the best meal she has ever had!

All of the staff was excellent. Didn't have reservations, but still go sat no issues. They social distance. We got doughnuts with our drink orders. 12/10 will recommend.

Absolutely incredible! The patio is gorgeous. We went for brunch on a Sunday. Just a walk in at 1pm- they only take reservations for 6 or more. The service was welcoming and attentive- Lola and Sara are our favorite! Our food was amazing. The potatoes where crispy. We had a drink at the bar after- the cocktail selection is extraordinary . What a diamond the the rough. Can’t wait to come back!

I’m from New Orleans and travel extensively for work both domestic and internationally. This is one of my favorite places I’ve ever been. The service and atmosphere is amazing and the food is even better. The owner Liz touch’s each customer, remembers the regulars and has a personality everyone loves along with her entire staff. If you are ever in the Buffalo area and looking for a great brunch with bottomless mimosas you have got to stop. You won’t be disappointed!

Amazing brunch! I brought my 3yo and she loved the waffles. I got the stuffed french toast (which was A++) and my husband got the breakfast poutine (which was so good I ate like half of it). The service was awesome and they seated us immediately even though we didn't have reservations. The decor was kinda weird but I like the character. Will definitely return!

Had their brunch and it was fantastic. The restaurant was clean and the service was friendly. Food was delicious by all accounts (there were eight of us in total) and their drinks were great. We ordered a little bit of everything on the drink menu so the bartender had some work to do. They did great. As a very nice bonus, they have a good amount of parking out front, and a little bit in back. This is a nice plus for a restaurant in Buffalo.

Brunch here was excellent! The food was very good, especially the stuffed poblano pepper. They were even nice enough to start our meal with a complimentary apple waffle and I'll probably get an entire one next time I come it was so good. The drinks were also good and priced nicely. It can be a little tough to tell if you've found the right place and they're open since they're a little lacking in signage.

Went for Sunday brunch.. nice brunch menu with lots of options. The biscuits with sausage gravy were delish! Blood Mary had a nice spicy kick to it, but unfortunately they were out of the Slim Jim garnish ( for an additional $2.00). It was busy with a large party of (10-12), and a couple of parties of 6 that all came in at once. I think the kitchen got a little overwhelmed, but my friends and I didn't really care as we were just enjoying ourselves... Reasonably priced, plenty of parking. Didn't check out the patio, but here it's nice. I'd go again!

Delectable, memorable, scrumptious. All words that perfectly sum up the experience offered by Providence Social. If the food takes a little long to come to your table this is immediately forgotten once the first forkful of food goes down. Plus you will have been enjoying one (or several) of their fine drinks while waiting. Can't recommend enough.

Had just come from Left Bank across the street (didn't make a reservation so there were no open tables) and so it was a little strange that the place was empty except for three people at a booth and some at the bar. The lighting was darker than normal, but the decor was nicer than normal. Relatively small 1-page menu, but I had a hard time picking from the good options. Food and service was great and there was a live band in the front room. Was nice to have that but also be able to hear ourselves talk.

Probably the best happy hour in Buffalo. Great craft cocktails. Really good Sunday brunch. Large patio is really nice. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Johnny always makes us feel welcome and his drinks are lit af!

I love this place! There food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. The patio is outstanding! It is relaxed and has very cool container gardens. You can even bring your dog. I've had some great meals here and also love coming just for cocktails. Make sure to check it out!

Amazing atmosphere, incredible, imaginative cocktails, served by a first-rate, talented barmaid. The food is incredible, as well. Lamb sliders were delish. Wonderful, friendly, efficient staff. Cool tunes. Desperately wish we had a bar like this where I live.

This wasn't my first time for brunch but it's been years since I've been. I ordered the Smoky Pork Hash. It was so good. I did add ketchup as I do with all of my hash meals. One of the owners was so nice. She came over to our table to apologize for the wait but we honestly didn't know we waited for a long time since we'd started our bottomless mimosas. Overall I'll definitely be back far sooner than the last time.

Stopped for brunch while on a relaxing weekend in Buffalo - a short "vacation" of sorts. Sat in a nice window seat for two with my lovely wife. My meal consisted of coffee, a virgin Bloody Mary, and Huevos Rancheros. The sunny-side up eggs were well cooked and balanced with a fresh pico, pickled onion and jalapenos, served with chorizo, cheese & refried beans on corn tortillas. Each bite of the dish had a good blended taste and ingredients worked together well. As some who prefers a bit of heat (ok, a lot of heat), I added a few splashes of hot sauce. My wife ordered the Biscuits and Gravy. It was served with sunny-side up eggs. The biscuits were well layered but dense - only one of the three absorbed the gravy enough to soften it. The gravy was light and the sausage was very flavorful, but I prefer a greater portion of sausage (I've made a family tradition recipe for years that I consider our standard). The herbs to flavor the gravy were fresh but the only real issue was the cracked pepper was sometimes uncracked and a bit overpowering. It was overall a great experience with a very pleasant wait staff and certainly worth additional visits.

Went there for dinner and the food was good. But I have one complaint the music was so loud in bar area I could not have a conversation with someone without yelling it was very annoying. Also music from bar was blairing into the dining area but not as loud. That is why I took one star away.

Great food. Owner needs to install sound deadening foam in dining area to reduce the echo. This was definitely the loudest breakfast I have ever experienced in my life. We had to scream to talk to each other.

Very cute patio setting and dining area inside. I ordered Cajun wings and fries which were pretty good. I’ve also dined here for breakfast and had the chicken & waffles. I’m never disappointed with the food.

Loved the interior decor and loved the vibe. Wonderfully eclectic brunch menu. Will be back to check out lunch and dinner options. One suggestion: toast the sour dough bread a bit less.

Great place for brunch (especially for the $2 mimosas!), but the biscuits and gravy were not super great. My boyfriend really liked it, but I was not a fan. It was too far out there for me. I like a traditional biscuits and gravy dish.

This was my first time at Providence Social, I love the outside seating. The complimentary apple fritter waffles were amazing!!! We ordered the huevos rancheros, it was really good, but I wish it came with the black beans as starting on the menu. We asked the waitress, she went to check with the chef and came back but didn't answer our question. She just asked us if everything was good and if we needed anything else. Lol... maybe she forgot but she was inclined to mention she was just the bartender. Overall the food was good, the drinks were okay and the patio was great. I hope they work out that whole changing of management again thing she telling us about.

The food and beverage menus are great, the food is great, but this particular brunch Sunday today the service was minimal. I forget what our waiter's name was. It took a long time, at least 15 or 20 minutes, after we were done eating to see the waiter again. I wanted to order another drink but seeing him again took too long that I ended up not wanting it. I assume that he was swamped with tables in the dining room (we were out on the patio). I'm all for restaurants having lots of business but at a certain point your servers may become too rushed. The food, drinks, space, and atmosphere that Providence Social provides will be enough to make up for this visit. My boyfriend and I will be back to try more of the brunch menu but maybe we will sit at the bar next time instead.

Most recent revisit was disappointing, ordered veggie appetizer and got pork, entre' was okay and chocolate dessert was so hard it nearly flew off the plate when I tried to cut into it... it was not frozen. Signature bar drinks and service were awesome despite the kitchen debacles. Hoping this was just a bad night at an otherwise fine restaurant.

Stopped in for brunch for the first time since their reopening this past weekend. I'll start by saying that the atmosphere here was not an issue. The host and waiter were friendly and accommodating, and the patio is a really great space. However, we had a not so great brunching experience when it came to the actual food itself. My friend and I both ordered the brunch salad, and the waiter informed us that they were out of one of the items...no big deal. We then receive what I would refer to as a "glorified side salad" with just crumbled bacon on top. We were missing almost all of the ingredients, which the waiter graciously provided us with the fruit that was missing. He said there were some salads that were coming out that were even missing the dressing. I understand mistakes happen, but as we were leaving we did see someone who had just received their meal with all of the correct toppings, plus the one the waiter said they were out of. Long story short: the ambiance was pleasant, but the inconsistencies on something as simple as a salad really put me off, especially since we paid full price for salads with 2 of the 5 or so ingredients listed.

Hands down, this used to be my favorite brunch spot in Buffalo. I went recently for first time in several months and was so disappointed! The first thing I noticed was they didn’t provide the complimentary waffles-even though this is minor, it was also something that set it apart from other places. When my meal came it seemed like it had been sitting in the kitchen for awhile based on the taste/temperature. I know there is some new ownership in the picture so not sure if that has to do with this negative experience. I’m willing to give the benefit of the doubt and go back again sometime, but certainly won’t be my first choice anymore.

Took my GF here for her birthday. Got there around 1:30pm, first thing we ordered was bottomless mimosas. The OJ they use for the mimosas isn't the best but it's whatever when you're trying to get litt. Food took almost an hour but it was good, except for the French Toast which was cold. We got the Huevos Rancheros, French Toast, and Burrito. Our waitress was nice too, just wish she would've came to check up on us more often and remind us about the bottomless time limit. We weren't keeping track of time so didn't get to take full advantage of the bottomless. Bathroom was disgusting. Throw up all over the sink and no paper towel. I guess the staff wasn't aware but once we told the manager she took care of it. Now, the reason why Im giving them 2 stars is because as we're walking out, the bartender stops us and confronts us about the tip we gave the waitress, which was 10%. She starts lowkey pressing us and asking how the service was and why we gave her 10%. Where I then explained my reasons: wait time, infrequent check ups, and overall not a good experience. She says that it's not the waitress's fault and that I should tip based on service. We just walked out after that. I don't know how you guys feel about this but I was a waiter before and there were many times were I felt my service was exceptional and sometimes didn't even get a dollar. But I never went on to confront them about it. Let alone press them to give more lol. Nice place, good food, just a bad day and unfortunately we won't be returning.

Let the buyer beware. Received a gift card for Christmas last year, only to have the restaurant shut down a week later. Held onto it, and was excited to use it to celebrate an anniversary brunch. We were looking forward to visiting what had been one of our favorites . The reopening was much anticipated! Server was terrific! Attentive, witty and knowledgeable...despite the fact they were out of many menu basics. Then the food arrived...sad to say the least. Our old go-to dishes were a mere shadow of their former selves. I was then told that they wouldn't accept my gift card... Used some persuasive negotiating with the owner, who kept trying to walk away from me. He eventually relented...so I at least got back $26 from a $50 gift card to pay for the meal. Disappointing to say the least. The restaurant business can be finicky, though it seems that winning regular customers with good customer service at all levels could help. Building relationships is paramount. Hope they don't realize this too late. Not going to be sending my friends here anymore.

I've been to lots of restaurants for brunch, dinner etc and anytime I've ever had a problem with my food, drink or service...the management has always been professional and accommodating. Regardless of how they might of felt about the complaint, I've always been shown respect and good customer service. Unfortunately my 1st time visiting PROVIDENCE SOCIAL was just the opposite....I've never been to a restaurant and waited close to a hour to order food, I've never been to a restaurant that didn't know how to make scrambled eggs, I've never been to a restaurant with such rude waitresses and to make matters worse when you complain to the OWNER she's just as unprofessional, rude and disrespectful as the people she employs! It's too many places in Buffalo to eat, drink and receive EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Trust me when I say, this isn't one!

J
Joel Scott

Wow, went there with great expectations and boy were we disappointed. The service was horrendous, it took us almost 20 minutes to get our first drink and then longer after that. The waitress kept saying sorry for the delay but the bar is jammed busy, I got up to go to the bathroom and there was three people at the bar. Not busy, just poorly managed. The drinks were also very watered down. The food was pretty good with the exception of the Ahi Tacos, pass on these. Patio is nice but there was no lighting at the tables, we litterally had to use our phones for light to pay our bill. Lots of great places in the city, this one is just not ready for primetime. The 8 us will not be back, they got our $400.00 once, never again.

S
Samantha Pfohl

Service was so slow! It took 30 minutes to get a drink! One drink should not take that long. The server came back 3 times to get our order for a simple 2 eggs Benedict and one social breakfast which is not too difficult. We first sat at the bar and the bartender was the best thing about that place. It used to be my favorite place to be but now it was so slow and not worth the visit!

E
Elijah Haigler

This was my second time here and it was a 4/10. It was over crowded, short staffed and 100%? Overwhelming. The food took forever to come. My friends food was cold plus she found a hair in it. We paid for bottomless mimosas but didn't get the bottomless experience due to the long waits. I dony think I'd return.

A
Aaron Kandefer

Came here previous to it closing and reopening, I believe under new management and the food was outstanding back then. Let's just say brunch on 9/15/18 was horrible at best, but at least the drinks were good. 3 different meals were ordered and the eggs requested over easy for all the meals, well all the eggs were over charred, cooked to oblivion and well over done. The biscuits and gravy, the gravy was congealed and completely unappetizing and the look definitely mirrored the taste. Of all 3 meals only one was semi appetizing and the 3 of us shared that one meal. The other 2 meals less than a quarter of the meal was consumed and to make it worse the server when asked if we would like the meals wrapped we responded no and she never inquired as to why the meals were barely touched. All in all a terrible experience for $70.00. Would love to hear from the owner.
