This place is amazing— best Mexican restaurant in Buffalo in my opinion !! I’ve been here a few times. The queso appetizer is amazing, I keep bringing people here to try it. The margs are the best, my favorite is the honey dew. The crispy brussels tacos are my fave! You can tell care is put into the food. The service is also outstanding. Can’t wait to go back!
Look no further! Best Mexican flare in the Buffalo area. Hard working owner, friendly, every cocktail has a flair, prices are fair for the quality (heavy pours), food is authentic and fresh (you pay for great quality). Atmosphere is upbeat and vibrant with a friendly audience every visit. Don’t walk, run! Thank you Casa Azul.
really delicious and fun place with helpful staff. Pleasantly surprised since the neighborhood looks a bit of a mess right now! We really enjoyed the food. It was a busy Sat night before Halloween party so it was a bit hard to talk down the table, but other times would probably be quieter! Would go again.
Our group of four headed out for restaurant week to try a new restaurant and we were not disappointed. We started with the margarita special at the bar - $5 each during happy hour and they were very tasty! Half had theirs with salt and half without and everyone enjoyed them. We also enjoyed the guacamole as an appetizer off the restaurant week menu and everyone agreed that we are glad we sampled it. It came with a cricket - extra protein! Dinner was delicious, service was excellent and we will be back again and bring others with us. It is a great place to try for restaurant week if you want to sample many different dishes.
This place puts Deep South and it’s predecessor to shame! They serve the 3rd best Negroni in the city, but the best tacos by far. I even tried the cauliflower pepper taco and it was much better than I expected. The usual beef and pork versions don’t disappoint and the shrimp taco is something I’ll be dreaming about for weeks. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff seemed to be enjoying their work day. Enjoy!
Food and drinks were absolutely amazing. Salsa was three different variations all with their own special twist. Chips were warm and homemade! Trio of tacos I had 2 fish and 1 shrimp taco. Tacos had small corn shells with fried shrimp and fish respectively. A good amount for the size of the shell with pickled onions and seasonings on top like cilantro. The tacos are great for a quick bite to eat after work paired with one of their delicious margaritas. I had the vanilla pear marg which was outstanding. Will be back to try other food options again.
Great vibes upstairs and downstairs. Street parking is pretty good. Tacos are great. Nice thick tortillas and a wide variety of unique recipes for cocktails and the tacos! Our bartender Megan was thoughtful with our orders and still went way above and beyond despite my group of 20 flooding the downstairs bar.
Great food....great drinks.....great price!
the food and tacos are great here, and i love their flavored margs! the patio atmosphere is also super pretty and the service is always attentive and thoughtful. i would definitely recommend this place!!
I'm known for not being big on Mexican or tacos but this place won me over. The fish and al pastor tacos are wonderfully delicious. I'd also recommend the chips and salsa trio, dragonfruit + ginger fresca, and churros.
I had the loveliest bartender Meghan, drinks were AMAZING! It's overlooked by far too many! I strongly recommend the Espresso Martini and the Old Fashioned. Excellent service, didn't really eat anything but what I did have were portioned generously and delicious!!
Today was my first time in Casa Azul and it exceeded my expectations. I ordered the carne asada and it was absolutely amazing. My brother got a fish taco, a pork belly taco and a carne asada and he said they were all great. Not to mention they have bottled Coca-Cola! The female bartender taking care of us was great and I highly suggest you put this on your bucket list for Buffalo restaurants.
I always come here when I visit Buffalo! Great Food and Cocktails, and they have the BEST patio in the city hands down! Order carne asada and a Cucumber jalapeño margarita - you won’t be disappointed!!
Top notch food and service. We walked in on a Friday evening and we were seated in about 5 mins. The vegetarian taco trio and mole enchiladas were definitely a stand out.
I have been in this restaurant, absolutely by chance. Food is mexican but modern and full of colours. A wonderful experience made by authentic flavour, all dishes are aesthetically refined and so good! Service is gentle and fast. Average price. The environment is welcoming, modern and pleasant, even outside. Wow guys, I love your restaurant and your job, well done!
This place is awesome! Loved the atmosphere, and the service is great - but the food is even better. We loved everything, from the fresh salsas to all the different types of tacos we had (with delicious toppings!) - and then, of course, churros for dessert. Best fish taco I’ve ever had, and they had multiple vegetarian options which I also appreciated. A must-try while in Buffalo! Wish we had a similar place back home.
My favorite restaurant! The best food and the best people!
The menu is diverse mix of flavors that are delicious. I had the octopus taquitos. Also they have a mocktail menu. I had the jalapeño & cucumber seltzer which was yummy.
Really nice place with great service and amazing food,,,all homemade in house,,,check it out
Delicious mole dishes here. Menu is a bit small but you can a table pretty late here and it's always lively. Wait staff can be pretty overworked though.
best tacos i've ever had. Everything on this menu is amazing. Great service and atmosphere. We had a shower which was awesome because we chose casa. Also the spicy marg is fire
Best place for parties/happy hours! Recently celebrated my birthday here and was not disappointed!! Staff is amazing and food is 10/10!! Definitely give their margaritas a try!!
Amazing tacos but definitely order 3-4 per person. I usually conserve on portions but for one the tacos are delicious and for two, they are on the smaller side but worth every bite. The beef tongue is my all time favorite, I know it may not be a common choice but a must if you are adventurous. The drinks are fantastic, the staff is so nice. An all around fantastic place.
I've had the pleasure of dining at Casa Azul on Allen in Buffalo, NY, both as a company outing and with friends, and I must say, the experience is always exceptional. The food here is outstanding, showcasing a creative blend of traditional and modern Mexican cuisine that keeps me coming back for more. Each visit is a delight, with dishes that tantalize the taste buds and a vibrant atmosphere that encapsulates the spirit of Buffalo's culinary scene. One of the highlights of Casa Azul, especially during the warmer months, is the back patio. It's easily one of the best spots in the city to convene in the summer, offering a cozy yet lively outdoor dining experience that's hard to match. Whether it's a casual get-together with friends or a more formal company dinner, the ambiance here sets the perfect backdrop for any occasion. Overall, Casa Azul holds a special place on my list of favorite dining spots. It stands out not just in Buffalo but as one of the better Mexican joints I've experienced anywhere. The combination of exquisite food, a warm and welcoming environment, and the unbeatable back patio makes it a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy some of the best culinary offerings Buffalo has to offer.
By far one of my favorite restaurants in the city, some of the best cocktails I've ever had. I can't get enough of their margaritas! The patio is super inviting, a great place to meet up with friends for happy hour.
I had the AL Pastor Torta ($10$) that I had for dinner was delicious, well-made, and quite flavorful with or without any hot sauce added to it. I would highly recommend getting this the next time (or the first time) you go to visit. I didn’t grab a drink this time but I have had their margarita in the past and it was a good as well, unless they've switched something
Best staff, best food, best vibe. A weekend spot. I’d take any tourist here when they come into town. I had a Halloween party in the enclosed patio it was incredible.
Had a great meal with the family. Service was excellent ! We were tired of the same old taco joints in the suburbs and I had a desire to change the scenery a bit. The tacos had great flavor and the appies ( meat queso skillet was amazing). My kids are finicky taco eaters and typically like meat, cheese, salsa and lettuce. We pushed their comfort level a little with the different flavors they put into the tacos and they loved it. If you get Apps I’d say 2 tacos is plenty. the main restaurant is upstairs and has a nice vibe to it. Downstairs was a nice bar with what looked to be a nice selection of tequilas. It was family night so we didn’t get a chance to enjoy that but I’ll be back. You can add an egg to any of the tacos... if you have a taco without an egg is it really a taco? Yes, sounds weird... but trust me... do it. I added mine to the Al Pastor and it was magical. Would love to see a Chorizo taco on the menu-hint hint . Great food, service, vibe. Well done casa Azul.
I can not emphasis enough how deliciously amazing their churros were! I’ve been to Spain and had churros, these are better. Hands down the best churros I’ve ever had. Their cocktails were equally amazing. This poblano infused bourbon martini was divine. Exceptional service from the bartender as well. Wonderful experience.
Great service, with nice open and airy seating inside. The food was delicious - had three tacos and the brussel sprout/cauliflower cesar salad which was so unique and tasty! Had two different margaritas and a cocktail which I enjoyed. Service was wonderful and I'd definitely come back when in Buffalo!
Casa Azul is the perfect spot for date night in my honest opinion! The restaurant itself is decorated beautifully and is always pristine, the food is on another level; the flavor card does not decline and hasn’t any time I’ve been! The servers are all very knowledgeable, the bar staff is friendly, and the food always comes out promptly and quickly! The newly renovated patio is incredible as well! Perfect space to hang with a big group of people, and honestly could be utilized as an event space! The cocktail menu is quite impressive too, the diverse selections of tequila and mezcal will turn anyone into an agave enthusiast, and the drinks are consistently just good. Homemade juices and flavors, fun rim options for margaritas, this truly is the only place you should be spending your margarita mondays, your taco tuesdays, and really any other day of the week.
I don't give 5☆'s out often but I was blown away by the service by Mitchell right out the gate he was very friendly and was on point with his menu items , and let's get to the drinks and food beyond amazing Mitchell's drink choices where great and strong and the food is the best tacos I have in W.N.Y hands down , when you leave a restaurant and littery make phone calls to everyone about your experience you know it was great cant wait to come back
Been here like 3-4 times already and I’m gonna keep going! I always get the queso, guac, and salsa. The charred Cesar is sooo tasty. All the tacos are great. The sandwiches is great. The drinks are great. The tostadas are great. Atmosphere is great. Music is great. Service is great. Etc etc love it all
I don’t often leave reviews but I must leave one for the mushroom huarache!! It was freaking delicious! We got the enchiladas with mole verde sauce with al pastor meat and also 3 tacos with barbacoa. SO GOOD! The portions are very generous here too!!! Also- they have rotating mezcals at very fair prices!!! If you got a craving for Mexican food- don’t wait! Go there tonight! (Check their Instagram for daily specials- we went Wednesday and it was BOGO for drinks)
I've been following this business around since they were a blue food truck, to when they took over a former hot dog restaurant, had every manner of kick back here from talking shit about basketball at the bar during a snow storm to hosting corporate dinners with dozens of people. What I can say definitively is this is one of the great restaurants in the city, and a treasure. It's a privilege that we get to have a culinary mind like Zina's throwing down things that are intentional, honor the craft and the ingredients, and taste great. I make it a point to be here every time I am in town.
I come to Buffalo occasionally for work and have a new favorite place. I'm gluten intolerant so just about everything is sans-gluten. I'm also Mexican and can speak to the authenticity of the food, very authentic and some of the best tacos outside of Mexico and California. Really did not expect this in Buffalo. I got the guacamole, chicken taco, al pastor taco, and potato and poblano taco. Their green salsa was my favorite; tangy and spicy. Very reasonable prices and the staff were polite, fast, and professional. Great atmosphere! Can't wait to come back and try more things off the menu.
Casa Azul is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is vibrant yet welcoming, the service is warm, and every dish bursts with authentic flavor. The tacos and margaritas are standouts, fresh, creative, and perfectly balanced. You can taste the care in every bite. Whether it’s a casual night out or a special occasion, Casa Azul never disappoints!
Genesis was our server, and was absolutely amazing. She gave us a great tequila recommendation with Forteleza. We even were able to order their rita flavors using the Forteleza Reposado which were absolutely amazing! Food was okay, our taco shells were soggy as it seemed they didn’t care to drain off the meat but still no fault of our amazing server. Can’t wait to come back and have her serve us again!
We came here for our anniversary. We had a “Be Our Guest Buffalo” gift certificate to use. It was delicious. The vibe felt like NYC in the background. The mezcal margarita with dragonfruit and a ginger/salt rim was exceptional! I had the carne asade which was good, but even better when I decided to order a side of HOMEMADE tortillas. My husband got the pescado and the gravy-like sauce was delicious, especially with those tortillas dipped in it. Since it was a special occasion I also ordered the churros…OMG…so fresh and amazing! We agreed, we will be back!
Highly recommend this restaurant! The trio of tacos were on point! I loved their Hot salsa as well- it was definitely spicy and I do spicy all the time. Staff was very attentive which I found very impressive. The speed at which the food came out was amazing as well, despite them having a full house.
Super glad I finally had a meal here. Very fresh and flavorful food and all came out quickly. We had a lovely server who gave us excellent margarita recommendations from the specialty flavors list. Appreciated the three vegetarian/vegan taco options as well as the weekly specials they had. The inside had great energy for a Tuesday night. I know on weekends it can get packed especially out on the patio. Will definitely return for quality Mexican food and drinks
This location has been three different restaurants during my time in Buffalo, but this is the best iteration. Previous spots were too loud, the fare too expensive, and the vibes off. Now that Casa Azul is here, this place shines! The staff is wonderful and offers good suggestions when you can't decide between certain entrees or drinks. The food was top-notch, and I was full onyym order of 3 tacos and some guac. The guac has pickled red onions in it, which were divine, and the chips it came with had large salt crystals all over that you could SEE (I am a salt fiend so this was a big bonus for me!). I don't know what was better- the drinks or the food. I ordered a mule (vodka based drink) instead of a tequila based drink, since that is not my particular jam. My drink came in THE cutest, hand painted terracotta little mug! It was delish. My friends all got tequila-based drinks, and I think the group favorite, after sampling multiple drinks, was the Pineapple something or other (maybe Pineapple Express? I can't remember, but it looked good!). The only sad moment was an entree someone wanted was out for the night- which is a good sign when something sells out! The food was so good, and the total for all the food and drinks was very reasonable. I am definitely going back, and can't say enough good things about this place.
What an amazing night out with friends!!! Particularly of note was the chocolate mousse which might be one of the best desserts I have ever had in Buffalo. Their nonalcoholic frescas were SUPER tasty and perfect for my way too pregnant friend- the peach basil was a win. The shrimp taco and guacamole were also incredible and I wish they would serve the brussel sprouts as an appetizer because they were good on a taco but I think they would have been incredible on their own! (Sorry you won't get a picture of the mousse because I ate it with great vigor and attention, but the churros were also a top notch end to our meal!)
We had a lovely dining experience at Casa Azul. Jessica provided great service and knew the menu well. The hostess also worked hard to get us a table not in the Sun (thank you)! They were able to modify the tres tacos to be vegan (already gluten free). In spite of removing the queso, there was plenty of nice flavor. Chips, tortillas, guacamole and beans and rice were pleasant appetizers. Others at my table enjoyed the churrros with great delight. Especially if you are vegetarian, vegan or gluten free this is a destination to include on your Buffalo itinerary.
Outstanding. Food is delicious, gluten free homemade tortillas, amazing specials, homemade rice and beans is phenomenal, little clay pots you take tequila shots out are super cool, and the tacos were delicious! Also the chips and dip is made in house and fabulous as well. Staff also knowledgeable and friendly as well. Highly recommend!
I have been to Casa Azul a few times and each time I go, I love it! The food is delicious! The best taco is the pork and beef taco. You must try it! I think the drinks are a bit small for the price, but taste okay. The atmosphere is fantastic. I prefer to be seated upstairs, so if you get a chance do so! Reservations are a must, as they are always packed!
FOOD 7/10 Creative menu + some must haves and typical tacos Great selection of vegetarian options I tried the Mole Verde, it was great but needed more freshness. The guacamole was delicious. Our group loved the picked red onions on top. We also tried the 3 vegetarian taco options that Casa Azul has. The best one was the potato taco, followed by the cauliflower with shishito peppers. The Brussels sprouts taco was a bit too sweet for my taste. DRINKS Margaritas we're ok! Could improve by adding more lime. 8/10 SERVICE Extremely friendly staff! 10/10 Overall a good experience and great atmosphere. I look forward to going back and trying other things on the menu.
My wife and I ate supper here a couple of days ago and it was great. We shared a combo of tacos and a Baja Bowl and it was perfect for us. Very flavorful and it looked good too.
Bar hopping with friends, bartenders were very friendly and welcoming. Good atmosphere for a nighttime drink
Meal (trio of tacos) I would recommend to anyone who will listen. Drinks were DIVINE. Very cute and aesthetic location. The only downside was that the staff wasn’t as personable as we are used to, but overall quick service.
Hidden patio seating is the perfect spot to enjoy tacos and tequila. Attentive service and fresh, delicious ingredients.
The restaurant is nice. They have nice ivy plants growing on the walls. Nice big glass windows. We ordered several different street tacos. The chicken taco was okay. The shrimp taco was the worst of the three( it's not necessarily bad). The Brussels sprout taco was the best of the three I had. Definitely try it if you like Brussels. We ordered an appetizer of the queso , and that stuff was weird it was just melted cheese. It's like the stuff. If you don't chew, you'll choke on it. Again, it was not necessarily bad either. It was just different. If I was in the area, I would come here again but wouldn't make any special trips to go there.
One of my favorite late night spots because they have food late night. Their tacos are delicious. I always get the beef barbacoa and al pastor. The tortillas are always fresh. I always get a dozen to go and make my own tacos or chips at home. The oxtail taquitos are the ones shown in the picture. They are so so good. It’s an appetizer not an entree but I think this is enough for dinner. It’s 4 taquitos (flautas is what I call them) sitting on a bed of sauce that’s very mild but all the flavor comes from the oxtail. Ask for hot sauce if you want them to be spicy pretty much for anything. Now for service, I’ve had very good service on many occasions. There’s one server who is amazing and really sweet so lucky you if you are served by her. However, on multiple occasions I have had to ask twice for the hot sauces because I can’t eat unless I have my spicy sauce. I’ve waited till my food was cold and finally had to get up and go get it myself. I know sometimes it can get busy but a guest should not be waiting on something for that long when asked from the get go. I don’t try to be rude at all or throw anyone under the bus. I do hope that they give better service to their next table. Don’t let this keep you from heading over to have great food. Overall I would give this place 4.5/5. It’s definitely more of a modern take on Mexican food. The food gets to you super quick. The margaritas are great! I recommend to everyone.
Food was phenomenal. Very good with great selections and mix and match options. I wanted to get everything on the menu. Service staff very friendly just seemed possibly short staffed like most places. Had to keep going to bar to get our own drinks. We also had large group so that could have been part of it. Would definitely go back however as very cool little spot and again food was fantastic! Edit: 2 years later and food, even door dashing on Cinco de Mayo, is still fantastic! Went perfectly with home made margs. Great job!!
I ordered a pick up order for 57 people, and they did so great with such a big order! The staff here were so great to work with, I would give them 10 stars for that! My only complaint was that the tacos were smaller in person than they looked online, and there wasn't any salsa included, so they were quite dry. We got the trio of tacos with pork, beef, and chicken. I really wish it was more filling and came with salsa or else I'd give nothing but a rave review!
I came here on Margarita Monday with my family when our first choices were closed. $7 house margaritas and they were cool, nothing special but the price. We shared the nachos and we all had different combinations of the taco trio. The nachos are really good. Flavorful with a little spice. The tacos were just okay. Between four of us we had chicken, fish, shrimp and barbacoa. The barbacoa lacked flavor and was a little dry. The shrimp and fish are battered which I could’ve done without for my shrimp taco. Our server was nice. Overall it was cool I would come back for drinks and a snack but it’s not my first choice.
Casa Azul is a Mexican restaurant in Buffalo, NY. The drinks and the food are above expectations. They had vegan, gluten-free options on almost all their menu items. The only downside is the wait time, as the place is popular. We had a variety of flavoured Margaritas which were highly potent. We also ordered Guacamole with corn chips which were so delicious that we ordered another. After that, it was a round of tacos and enchiladas. All worth it. We finished every bit of food even though we were full. Great place for a meal with friends and family.
Love the vibe of the place, although I sincerely loved the old location more. But this fits with their current quality of food and drink. It's definitely nothing special anymore. Servers are great. Hope the chef is working on some new high end ideas elsewhere. Would recommend the barbacoa or brussel sprouts tacos, and the margaritas.
Loved the Security, he was very friendly. Had to check our ID before going in. Did not have a lot of options in my opinion for food. Was very rushy. The restaurant was beautiful. Might not be back but have recommended it to others in case it is more thier cup of tea.
We sat outside at what they called the bar but it was basically several high top tables without service. You had to order at the bar and there was no further service after they brought you your food. The guacamole there is amazing. The toppings really add to the flavor. The tacos were not very good. We got Barbacoa, chicken, and fish. They all lacked flavor and the meat was chewy.
Disappointed by this re-located re-opened place that was on Genesee downtown and was previously Cantina Loco at this Allentown address. The selections ordered were just mediocre, not as good as either place previously. I would give it a second chance due to decent service, pleasant setting and good location. Went back a few weeks ago. Was told to wait at bar for a table in about 20 minutes which turned into 45 minutes at least. The queso was barely edible according to my companion and guacamole not much better, had an almost sweet taste. We cut our losses and left before ordering more. At least the waitress took the queso off the bill. 4/29/24.
Was visiting from out of town and really excited about coming to this restaurant for dinner. The food did not meet my expectations. Chicken taco was extremely bland and the house margarita was way too strong. We got a side of rice and beans that tasted like nothing. The best thing on the menu was the salsa trio. The atmosphere and the service was great but I would not go back for the food and drink.
Went here on a Friday night. It wasn’t particularly busy but we waited for a while to be seated. Then the folks behind us just went out to the patio, so we did as well. The patio is beautiful! The service was not. We ordered drinks at the bar. Our Mezcal Margs tasted like all Mezcal with a hint of mix. It was hard to drink. Then I went to the bar to order different drinks and literally waited 10 mins before the bartenders came over. They were busy socializing then closed out 4 other folks before letting me know the cocktail I wanted they were out of. At that point, we just paid and left. We went to nearby bars and had a much better time there.
Sat at the bar on a Friday night, pretty dead atmosphere, friendly service but the food was disappointing in both flavor & portion size. Wouldn’t recommend.
The food and service were both great. Being a Friday evening we chose to sit on the patio. Half way through dinner I noticed what I thought was a Cat run by my feet, I was wrong it was a Rat. Totally understand we're downtown and the surroundings can't be controlled, but having a Rat basically join you for dinner is a bit off putting. Little guy meandered around for a bit and then we lost sight of it- paid the check and left.
We normally come here a lot and the food and service is normally awesome. We had Eliza as our server tonight ( stated on our bill) and from the moment she came over to our table of 6- it started off poorly. We asked to order apps, and she refused to take no more then drink orders until everyone was seated - even when we said the rest of the party was on the patio and coming in shortly. We also asked to split the bills and had eyes rolled at us and was told “sure” very aggressively. We had to ask for our table to be cleared multiple times, water to be filled and had to ask for a Diet Coke twice. She was extremely dry, unfriendly and not attentive at all. Further more, my meal was apparently “ over looked” by the kitchen and I was the only one without food while the rest of the table ate. When we ordered a second round of drinks and questions where they were , we got told “ the bartender was backed up” … the restaurant was empty. If I could give 0 stars for the service I would, she was horrendous.
Went to try this place last minute. Overall drinks were great. Food on the other hand was not good. We got the queso which was just a lump of baked cheese that we could t break apart with barely cooked onions in it. The chips tasted stale. The salsa we got was interesting to say the least. The tacos were ok some better than others. Chicken taco was bland, barbacoa was ok, potato was good. Overall won’t be returning.
Ordered takeout shrimp and fish tacos. They use frozen breaded shrimp and frozen breaded fish that was microwaved !!! I have never been to a Mexican restaurant that uses frozen shrimp or frozen fish that is microwaved in a taco. They all saute the shrimp or the fish so they take on the flavor of the sauce except for this place. I would never go back this place for Mexican food.
I normally don’t write reviews but this was my worst experience in America in the last 4 years. 1. Empty restaurant, over 15 minutes to have our drinks ( couple of beers). 2. We arrived around 8:00 PM thinking we will be able to eat and enjoy the fireworks at Niagara Falls. We lost the fireworks and the opportunity to enjoy our dinner. 3. Food (12 tacos) arrived after over one hour 4. My father had to grab glasses from another table for his beer, the waitress the whole time disappeared. 5. There was no manager at all, a blonde waitress try to apologize but she was frickin out I believe she was new. 6. We had over 3 servers for our table, but we never understood who the server really was 7. Isn’t nice to see that meanwhile you’re waiting for the food your employees are doing shots at the bar and not taking care of the guests 8. Simple requests such a “one more beer” they forgot twice, we had to ask if the beer will arrive having 2 bartenders and over 4 servers and 1 hostess nobody could run a beer to our table. 9.The worst part a table close to us arrived after 20 minutes we arrived and they had their food first , the same tacos we ordered. 10. The food was good, the music was great but you need a supervisor or somebody directing your staff. After all of this that was mentioned to the 3 servers we had, I was expecting at least an apologize or a guest recovery adjusting the bill etc, none of this happened. We will never come back.
one star is honestly generous. this was a few weeks ago and i was going to not make a review. their cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages have the same names. me and my father both ordered off the non-alcoholic menus. the server brought out drinks that were full to the brim with alcohol. mind you, i’m 17 years old and do not look over 21. the waitress didn’t bother asking for id or confirmation that we were looking to get alcohol. my father has not had a sip of alcohol in over 7 years, until we went to this restaurant. extremely dangerous and irresponsible behavior. when we returned the drinks, the waitress was incredibly dismissive and did not understand why we were so upset. she came over to the table to apologize to my father (who had to go outside for fresh air), so she didn’t really even apologize to him. completely dismissed me, as if she was not sorry for serving alcohol to a minor. the food wasn’t very good either. if you’re looking for authentic mexican food, run in the other direction. i debated reviewing this place, i was just going to keep my negative thoughts to myself. but honestly this was such a dangerous and disgusting experience for me that it felt downright immoral to not let others know. i’m adding a picture of the drinks we were served. the pink and green were ours, the third one is my cousins. minimal professional or remorse shown, i’m furious even weeks after.
