Just went there a couple days ago. The food tasted fresh and everything came out hot. The guac and queso were my favorite. The drinks were strong but still tasted good. Service was fast and staff was excellent. I’d definitely go back.

Went to grab dinner with a friend on National Margarita Day + had some really good drinks, music was flowing, food was amazing as always. Our server Jordan was very attentive.

Excellent Saturday night (again) at Aguacates, fun and lively atmosphere. Dany was awesome! Excellent service, friendly, and attentive. Just remember if you want to stretch the experience, order guac and queso first and wait to order mains.

This place was amazing!! I drove my wife to power yoga buffalo on a snowy day and had nothing to do but eat. This store was in the same complex so why not try it out. I bought the cuban rueban sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. When my wife was done teaching she asked me to go get her one, so I did, and then got myself another one because it was amazing. Everyone was so nice, the owner gave me a free chicken pot pie to eat when I got home. It was also unbelievable.

Out of the 50+ times I have visited there is only one instance where there was an error with my order and the owner, Alice immediately ensured it was corrected. I had a combo meal, half sandwich and cup of soup. The soup was a delicious beef chili, in a good size cup. My choice of sandwich was a cranberry chicken salad on whole grain bread. With dark greens, fresh tomatoes and more it was too thick to put my mouth around. It was very filling. Two combo meals and drinks was about $25. Well worth the price. It is a homey place with several tables for dining in. It is a nice little market. The dessert options looked great, but I was too full to try any.

Looks delicious and it’s a very large for lunch portion. Had to get it reheated because my beans were cold. Overall it was very yummy! The pork is delicious it tastes home made!!

We went there based on a Google review which depicted a lively and vibrant atmosphere. A very festive amd traditional atmosphere That's just what we got! We ordered fajitas and they were delicious. One suggestion is to have four tortillas instead of the usual three. And to maybe have some tortilla chips that have multiple colors rather than the standard and unexciting brown only. Just because everyone else does it that way, doesn't mean that these guys have to too. In all honesty I found the price high for the quality of chicken that was used in the fajitas. They were strips of meat rather than sections of breast It always helps to stand out and be your own place with your own vibe. Just set yourself apart from the rest. I would definitely go back again maybe a little less close to closing time. Even though it wasn't late, before 9 I'm sure, it did feel like we were maybe being surrounded by staff waiting to clean the place up even though it was definitely not very late. As soon as people seated at the bar drinking got up to leave, the staff seemed anxious to clean up and go. And as we all know, that's never comfortable for the client. So hasta la vista.

Great vibe and decor. Place was clean and tables are well placed, you wouldn't feel cramped up. Food waa also great, real tasty. Some of them too tasty like the calamari but the squid inside was soft. I loved their al pastor! Price point was decent for the food and serving size you are getting. Too bad we weren't able to do cocktails that night. I wouldn't mind coming back. Service was efficient, they've been polite, we know we overstayed a bit.

We walked in, party of 3 happy about our friend's birthday. It took the restaurant maybe 5-10 minutes to accommodate us to a table that fit us. They don't take reservations, but you can walk in, provide your phone number and wait to be called. Our server, Jordan seemed ticked off by us throughout the dinner? Her responses and attitude did not match how we felt walking in. We spent $60 on a marg tower and ordered the nachos supreme. After the service was over, Jordan collected our separate checks and I said "I can pay for mine but she is in the bathroom." Referring to my friend. I finish mine, and she goes "Can you just fill out the tip option for her?" I said "Um I'm sorry no? She's in the bathroom" I've never seen that before, she really seemed visibly upset with us when we were just trying to have a good time. By the way all 3 porcelain side plates you gave us had cracks in them. Would you sit down to use the bathroom on a cracked porcelain toilet? Liability waiting to happen

I WISH this place could get orders done right! EVERYTIME we order from Globe Market the order is wrong. Sometimes its the wrong dressing on your salad, sometimes they forget to add the chicken you paid for to your salad, sometimes they add cheese to your sandwich when you requested NO cheese, the list of mistakes goes on and on. Not once have they gotten our order correct. On a good note - Everything is Fresh, tastes good and they offer tofu for your salad, unlike a lot of places. The homemade blue cheese dressing is the best Ive ever had and the Caprese Salad is amazing. If only they could get the orders right, we would order from their every day! Unfortunately we go elsewhere because of the constant mistakes.

Update from October 2019: my companion and I wanted to go out for a bite and decided on Globe. We were both completely underwhelmed. We both bought wraps, his tasted like a hint of roasted peppers. Mine tasted like a medley of lettuce. Completely disappointed. 2018: My experience with Globe Market is fantastic. I've always been wary of trying tofu, but their tofu wrap slayed me. Everything is fresh and any problem is addressed. For nice summer days it's a great place to get a bite and sit out on their patio. If you're taking a trip down the Elmwood strip, give this place a try.

The food is ok, prices are higher than serving sizes would indicate, and the men's bathroom is atrocious. One of the chefs is consistently occupying the 5 minute parking in back, and overall I'd rather go to Panera across the street, even though this place is local (not something I usually say).

I used to go here all the time until today. I spent $50 just for my food to come with fully cooked bugs in it ! I’m so disappointed I will never eat here again

This place was a very good sandwich spot but sadly it has changed. The quality and freshness of ingredients seems to be getting worse as the prices have risen. The hours have decreased with the cleanliness. Unfortunate this was once such a gem. Rotten lettuce throught both sandwiches we ordered, minimal effort to use fresh ingredients.
