I ordered the spicy pot at Q Seafood Boil and it was very delicious. The flavor was strong and rich. I chose a medium spicy level, and it was perfect for me. It was spicy but not too much. The seafood inside was fresh and cooked well. The food came out hot and smelled amazing. Sometimes, some staffs didn't care about the customers that is why i gave 3 stars for service. Overall, the restaurant was clean. I enjoyed the spicy pot very much. I will come back again next time. I recommend it if you like spicy seafood.
First time there was a great experience. According to the bill, the main server was Kexin. wonderful job she was polite and Just great. The place had a cool robot deliver the food and her and the other server name not known help place it on the table. If you enjoy seafood I think it's a must try. The adult drink was great also and decently priced.
First impression: We went at 1pm, not too many people here but a good atmosphere. They have music played at a reasonable volume! Not many restaurants get that right. Staff was very friendly and quick, they walked around making sure everything was going fine. Drink and food came out very fast! Food and drink: I got the broil mild-garlic-butter-combo D and taro milk tea. The corn was absolutely delectable, as well as the potatoes. Now the sea food was on another level, the spice was at a perfect balance. As someone who doesn’t like spice this is very rare. I ate everything, after, I wish I ordered even more. The seafood was 10/10 and yummy. Would recommend.
Been wanting to get in here and try this place out. Finally stopped in, and I was not disappointed. If you like seafood, check this place out. I got fried calamari and fried rice, it was larger portions than I was expecting, so that was nice. It was very delicious. I will be back for sure.
Such a great spot! Hands down the best seafood in Buffalo, NY. The service is fast and unique with the help of their serving robots, which makes the experience even more fun. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. On top of that, their boba is delicious, the perfect sweet treat to go with the meal. Definitely a must visit if you’re in the area!
This was my first time here but will not be the last time everyone enjoyed what they order my daughter had the seafood bowl every seafood you could imagine was in it. , I enjoyed my mussels and shrimp boil my husband enjoyed his crab leg boil you will not be disappointed the serving robot is also here
I highly recommend The Q Seafood Boil and Hotpot for their spicy hotpot! The broth is rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced between spicy and numbing. All the ingredients are fresh — from seafood to vegetables and meats — and everything is prepared really well. The portions are generous and the price is very reasonable for the quality. The service is friendly and attentive, and the food comes out quickly. Whether dining alone or with friends, this place is definitely my top choice for hotpot in Buffalo!
I would go back!! Went here to try their malatang hotpot where you build your own bowl and they cook it for you. I been wanting to try a place like this but didn’t know we had one in buffalo! Super clean place. I with there was a bigger selection but it’s okay. It was pay by pound and really affordable, I packed leftovers. I got the spicy dry pot for my hotpot, and it was actually spicy. Not unenjoyable, but definitely comparable to buldak. Which I liked. My friend got the spicy Szechuan broth and that tasted like a typical malatang soup, not too oily either! Tbh their robot is a cool concept but unnecessary bc the waitress just follows slowly behind to grab it anyways. Overall nice!
Loving their new cocktail menu! The servers are very friendly and always happy to help. The dry pot is very good, always the right amount of spice and cilantro. If you wanna try their seafood boil, I would recommend the Handful combo and the Juicy Cajun sauce in medium. The potatoes dipped in the sauce are amazing!!
It’s a little taste of home. So I’m in college close by and my friend and I love coming here after exams as a way to reward ourselves. It’s never really packed when we go in so it’s kind of nice. I always get the homemade juice but and it’s so good but I only wish it was less sweet. Their snow crabs are meaty but they do seem to vary. Their headless shrimp is so good and the extras are cooked to perfection. I get a side of rice and mix sauce into it to go and I stir fry that in the dorms and it’s like another meal. I really hope people can come and eat here because their business does not seem to be doing amazing and I hope they don’t end up giving up on the restaurant. 🫶🦀🐙🦞🦐🦑🦪
Highly recommend this place!!! We’ve been looking for a good seafood boil spot in our area and totally found one! Food was cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly and tasted delicious! I got the Cajun spice, medium heat and it was perfect. Not too spicy but a nice kick just like I wanted. Price was really good, staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back.
My first concern was the price and quantity of the food but for the money you pay you get enough food. The quality of the food is great, but I must admit as someone with less seafood experience I went to a safe choice: Salmon. I ordered house salad which was great specially with balsamic seasoning + Cajun fries which were plenty. The salmon it self was great very tasty, not overcooked or undercooked. I even preferred it to those cheeses on top of the salmon. Overall, this place is both quantity and quality wise good and the price is very reasonable. The only suggestion for the restaurant please put a sign to direct people to the front door I could not do entrance door first.
Good food I only order out so I can’t comment about the service but satisfied with the food prices are steep for the economy but comparable to other seafood restaurants in the area
Mud bugs cooked perfectly, need to order one heat level up from normal. The shrimp in the boil was ok. The sausage bowl was not what I thought it was it was a plate with thin sliced sausage, hard boiled egg, 1/2 ear of corn and a scoop or rice on the side and a bowl of hot sauce. The calamari was like rubber bands. Servers are friendly and knowledgeable, but.... Never got a drink refills. The robot that brings out the food is a bit unnecessary as the server runs over to pull the plates off anyways. Would I go again yes but not at the top of my list.
Food came fast and hot. Still trying to figure out why the garlic butter flavor came out red (was baby spice). I don't recommend the sausage because they are thin slivers and you pay for them by the pieces, not by the pound. The shrimp were good sizes and the snow crab was average size. Very messy (they give you bibs & gloves) but worth it for the flavor.
I will never order from here again. The meat is GREY and STINKS like rot. Potatoes and corn tastes old. Mussles were ok. Everything else. Terrible. I just threw away an $80 dollar meal in fear of food poisioning. Don't order from this place.
I was extremely disappointed with our experience here and would not return. My family and I went specifically for a seafood boil, but right away the experience felt unprofessional. Several menu items did not have prices listed. When I asked our server for pricing, they didn’t know and had to ask someone else. Eventually, I was quoted an astronomical price for a very small quantity of food. We were told a seafood boil would cost $170 (photo attached), which is completely unreasonable for the quantity provided. It was nowhere near enough to feed four adults. This is especially misleading considering their Google page advertises seafood boils at $20–$30 per person. Our total bill ended up being over $200, and we still left feeling unsatisfied and not full. To be clear, we ordered nothing premium—no steaks, no lobster upgrades, no caviar. The boil consisted of crab, shrimp, corn, sausage, and potatoes only. There is absolutely no justification for charging this amount for such basic items. To make matters worse, when I reviewed the bill at home, I noticed we were charged a $30 server fee. For what, exactly? Service was minimal at best. We had to repeatedly call for our server, and even basic tools to eat the crab were not provided unless we specifically asked. If we had to ask for everything ourselves, I don’t understand how a server fee is justified. Overall, the pricing was misleading, the service was poor, and the value was absolutely not there. This was a very disappointing experience, especially for a family outing.
I've never had an issue with this place until tonight! First thing that happened was I ordered sausage with my boil and did not receive it, that was a little upsetting seeing as how I paid for it. This was a doordash delivery for reference. Then the worst thing happened I went to open my crab leg with my teeth and bit into a BARNACLE! This was so disgusting I could not even finish my food. Worst part is if this causes me to get ill it will cause me health complications because I'm currently undergoing chemo so my immune system is pretty much non existent. I just wanted to treat myself the night before my chemo session, I now regret it, deeply.
