We stopped by for a quick take out lunch. It was my first time at this location. This is your standard make your own taco/ burrito/ salad spot. We chose burrito and a burrito bowl. There are some great lunch specials here everyday if you are looking for a bargain. Large portion sizes. Lots of indoor seating. First of all the chips, salsa and queso here are awesome! If you get the combo meal you get a huge bag of chips for each meal with your choice of guacamole or queso and salsa. The chips are super light, fresh and addicting. Definitely a highlight of coming to eat here. The queso is creamy and not too spicy, probably some of the best for a take out chain. Salsa was fresh with a little kick. Great to eat alone or as a topping. The guacamole was just ok. Edible but not super fresh and no overwhelming flavor of avocado after eating. The steak and chicken in the meals was just ok. We weren’t overly impressed. The quality was mediocre at best. It was palatable with the fresh ingredients and toppings. I have been to other locations of Salsaritas and the meat seemed to be better, as in maybe more fresh and better prepared. The staff was wearing masks and following covid protocols.

This was my first time ordering from Salsarita's and it was a somewhat disappointing experience. I haven't decided if I'll be back. I ordered the chicken burrito bowl, my husband ordered a chicken taco salad and we got chips and salsa to share. Everything was packed thoughtfully (we ordered delivery) and looked great! They got the order correct with all the toppings and sauces we selected. I also thought the prices were very fair. The disappointing part came when we tasted everything. The veggies were nice and fresh and the chicken was tender...but nothing had any flavor. It was all incredibly bland. I added three different sauces and salt, but it barely helped. It seemed like it was all prepared without salt and very little other seasoning. I'm torn on whether or not to try again. Everything looked so good and had so much potential to taste good, but I don't want to waste my money if it turns out it wasn't a one-off.

It's an ok Mexican restaurant in an area that has outstanding ones. The constant birthday and tower of drink singing makes any conversation impossible.

Food is good... But layout and process is terrible. It would be smart to turn useless bar into a prep area for takeout so people don't wait 30 minutes to order some days...

It’s food. Maybe I’m spoiled by the quality of Chipotle in California, but everything was really bland and under seasoned. For $15 a burrito you might as well go to Taqueria Ranchos Dos on Delaware. It’s authentic and much better

The food was very underwhelming. The beef was just salty and not seasoned well other than with salt. The steak was smoky but did not taste good. The protein was all cold. The service was great, fast, friendly and portions were good for the price. Just the taste of the food was off. Ordered steak tacos, chicken burrito, chicken quesadilla and beef nachos. Would not recommend

The rice was very old and hard. They were out of the plant-based chorizo by 4pm, which was disappointing. The staff seemed uninterested and like they didn’t want to be there. There were no napkins on the tables or available anywhere. Overall, it wasn’t a great experience and I wouldn’t return.

My son and I walked in at 8:01 and they refused to serve us because they close at 8:00. All of the food was still out and ready to serve.

Disappointing Service and Long Wait Times I visited Salsarita’s today (Saturday) and was extremely disappointed with the service. The workers were moving at an incredibly slow pace, causing the line to back up significantly. I ended up waiting 45 minutes just to place my order, which is unacceptable for a fast-casual restaurant. The biggest issue seemed to be the lack of staffing. There were only two employees handling everything, and it was clear that a third worker was needed to help delegate tasks and improve efficiency. With better coordination and quicker service, customers wouldn’t have to wait nearly an hour for their food. In addition to the slow service, I also experienced poor communication from the staff. When I asked for hot sauce, the worker stared at me as if I had said something confusing and proceeded to grab hot salsa instead. This lack of attention to customer requests made the experience even more frustrating. Suggestions for Improvement: Increase Staffing During Peak Hours – Having an additional worker would allow for better task management and significantly reduce wait times. Improve Employee Efficiency – Training staff to work faster and more effectively under pressure would help keep lines moving. Better Customer Service Training – Ensuring employees listen carefully and accurately fulfill orders would enhance the customer experience. Until these issues are addressed, I can’t see myself returning anytime soon. I hope Salsarita’s takes these concerns seriously and works on improving their service.

20 BUCKS FOR THIS SLOP?!! I am INFURIATED. I ordered a Salad. Instead I was given GREASE SOUP that leaked all over the chips, which would've been the only edible thing in the bag. Not that it would've made a bit of difference, other than to soak-up some of the "outhouse surprise" I paid 20 bucks for, but ya forgot the cheese. Oh, and the lettuce too. I'm not counting the 7.3 *shreds* that I got because they happened to be stuck to whatever you pulled from the dumpster to make my order. 50 bucks in the trash, along with my kid's appetite. I don't blame her for not wanting to touch her meal after seeing mine.
