When was the last time you visited a restaurant where the manager came over to see if you had a good experience and to personally thank you for coming in? Today at Smokey Bones, she did. My experience was wonderful. The Bone Fire was amazing. The grilled chicken, sausage, sirloin and ribs were tender and smoked to perfection. Felicia and Greta provided outstanding service. They were both very nice and attentive to my service needs. The atmosphere was warm and cozy.

We love going here for lunch because the bowls are a great price and perfect size. I love the mac and cheese with pulled pork. The extra sauces were a nice touch. I found the brisket to be a bit dry so not worth the extra fee. Felisha was our server and she was great. Will be back again for sure

Finally, I decided to try this place. The food and service were good. The mango habanero wings were absolutely delicious. I would definitely come again.

We had the sweetest waitress. But the kitchen definitely needs help. Our fries were recooked yet cold, (they were super crispy and hollow) the pulled pork was dry and lacking flavor, the Cole slaw was just off. Mac and cheese was quite tasty. The burger had two hairs in it, a blond one in the cheese, then was cut open to find a long black hair running through the whole patty and fries were cold. There was a full refund give on this plate after showing the waitress. The Smoked wings were phenomenal, I had a mango habenaro sauce, and it had an amazing flavor, sweet and very spicy. I wish we would have just stuck to wings, and Mac n cheese, I feel we would have had a better experience.

Never asked how any of the meats, 3 burgers and 1 steak, should be done. Did not like a well done burger. Didn't put in for sweet potato fries, nor brought out requested ranch. I understand this may have been a new server, seemed like it, but questions they should know or a trainer with them.

The corn bread, ribs, and wings were amazing! The mac n cheese was soggy and the fire roasted corn lacked in flavor. Our service was great, but a couple left after not being served. We watched the interactions and thought that they server definitely should have offered them service faster. They sat for 15 min with no drinks offered or anything. Other people came in and were served quickly. I would go back for the BBQ for sure but no sides.

Mediocre at best, the “bar manager” was tending, I seriously hope the bar keeper knew something before this guy trained them. Had to explain how to pour a draft to a server. Food was quite good and I will be back at least 1 more time.

Crossed the border to do some shopping and stopped off at this restaurant for a bite to eat. Hostesses in the front were amazing and did their absolute best to accommodate, great customer service by the girls! Food and quality is pretty average, I got a burger and when it arrived it wasn’t even warm. Pretty dry and they forgot the pulled pork which was suppose to be on it. Overall, all the dishes we got were of average quality and portion size was decent. Expected a bit better for the prices.

Horrible experience. Go anywhere else. Should have known when the girl seats you by throwing menus on the table and keeps walking. Same girl was eating and feeding her kid while working, but whatever. Server tried but was overwhelmed as bartender called in. Sandwich ok, fries are gross and waited forever for everything. Should have hit Mcdonalds as it would be 10 times better for half the price.

Never again. My wife took me there for a birthday celebration. Never again. The bathroom smelled like pee so bad. It's like ammonia strong. It's gross. Brisket grilled cheese sandwich.. There was so much salt on it we couldn't eat it. It was a waste of money and time. We will never ever go back and we will get the word out to others. Our waitress was good though if that matters.

If you’re looking for a place to practice patience, this is it. The wait for food felt endless, despite the restaurant not being busy at all. The host greeted us with the warmth of a brick wall, and the rest of the staff followed suit—rude, dismissive, and clearly inconvenienced by our presence. By the time the food finally arrived, the excitement was long gone. Amazing how a simple meal can take so long and still come with such terrible service. Won’t be back anytime soon. Highly disappointed, don’t recommend this location.

Very disappointing experience at Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill. I arrived at 10:43 PM, and their posted hours clearly state they are open until 11:00 PM, yet they refused to serve me a beer. It is extremely unprofessional for a business to stop serving customers while still within operating hours. If they advertise being open until 11, they should honor that. I left unsatisfied and cannot recommend this place due to their poor customer service and lack of commitment to their own schedule.

These aren't smoky wings. They're deep-fried, dry, flavorless chicken with your choice of sauce. For me, "smoky wings" are like grilled wings. The steak was fine, grilled as it should be.

Edit: Since this review had two more awful experiences. This location has a habit of running out of items and giving you “whatever” without checking if you’re okay with it or you can even eat it. Or mixing a side that was for another person in your other entree’s container meant for another person and covering it with barbecue sauce and meat. Also If you can’t eat what they choose to substitute- oh well. This picture was from 8/11 and apparently the chicken dinner. It is my fault for giving this place another chance. I don’t know what has happened to it but its gone way downhill between food quality and customer service (who accuses a customer of calling a “scam number” that identified themselves as the restaurant and took your order when being directed from the website ordering system?) ——- I've reviewed here before a while back but wanted to update my review and it wouldn't let me edit. This location seems to have a bizarre range of experiences... from great to awful. Last night, 7/28, I tried to place an online pickup order through the website. It wouldn't let me and said I had to call it in, and the submission button turned to a button to call, including the number, which was the restaurants. I call and am on hold a while, which is fine. Someone answers and it sounds more like a call center, again, that's find. I place my order, the $14.99 special that includes and appetizer and meal. It's set for pickup at 10:35PM. When I arrive, there is confusion. My order isn't ready. Actually, there is no order. I don't want to blame initial staff because she was new and trying. She said it didn't exist. I explained to her and showed her (I had the windows open on my browser) and she suggested I called a "scam number." So I pull up your google information and show it's the restaurant phone. She says she'll go check with a manager and disappears in the kitchen. When she returns she tells me that the call center messed up and this is the second time today this happened. That the special no longer exists according to the manager. I ask why my order was taken by the main restaurant call center then and I wasn't told the promotion ended, I asked why it was still on the website then and listed to running through 7/31. She didn't know and that they "mess up." I'm told I can order something else though. A server comes over and helps, she hears me mention the special and says "that's still running." She helps place the order, assures me it'll be "right up" and also mentions a discount or something extra for the inconvenience. I get the order. It's fine. I'm not given a discount or anything extra. I'm not saying mistakes don't happen but it was a really awkward situation. The manager was nowhere to be seen, yet making new employees engage in situations like this and passing wrong information to them, potential escalating the situation, instead of handling it.... like a manager. I've been in customer service, including management for over 20 years and this is not how you diffuse or handle a situation like this when it's on the restaurant or company's end. Also to promise a discount or item for the situation then just not include it.... it would be better not to say anything. There was another guy there waiting and had some kind of issue I overheard. Staff came out with an item stating whatever he ordered was out so they replaced it with something else.... without asking him if that was okay. It was pretty odd and he was equally confused about his experience, making a comment to me when we were both waiting. Also, just a thought. When packaging meals, it would be nice not to throw things like cornbread in a container mixed with a bunch of other items and sauces. Some people don't mind the mix but others don't, or can't, or it might be meant for later. It was pretty gross and inedible as it absorbed a bunch of liquid and got soggy gross.
