We celebrated my son's 26th birthday there on 1/3/2026, and it was fantastic! There were 15 of us and we had drinks & apps and then ordered off the menu. Our server Jake was phenomenal, the bar manager Cheyenne was so personable and on point and all the food came out hot and together! Will definitely be back! Kudos to the entire team from mgr to kitchen and all! Thanks VICE!

We had an excellent meal and an even better experience overall. Our waitress, Tatum, was fantastic, and Veronica, the event manager, did a great job making sure our group was well taken care of. The kitchen manager even stopped by to check in, which was a really nice touch. This place is perfect for group dining—we had about 30 people and were given a private space in the upstairs loft (no elevator). It was a bit loud with the football game at first, but they kindly turned the sound down so we could actually talk and enjoy ourselves. Highly recommend Vice!

Me and my best friend came here for dinner before last night's show at Shea’s. Jake was our server and he was amazing. Friendly, easy to talk to, and very genuine in helping us make decisions about the beverage / dining menus. After Jake cashed us out - a manager popped over to ensure we had enjoyed ourselves, nice touch! I had only been to Vice once before this, 2 years ago and didn't leave with any particular impression. After last night's experience, I'll definitely be returning more often. **food items ordered: spinach & artichoke dip, beet salad, French onion soup, beyond burger - all delicious!

This was our first time at Vice restaurant. They have a decent menu. I had the wood fired meatballs in marinara for an appetizer. They were very tender and tasted great. For dinner I had the steakhouse burger and the chopped salad. The burger was very flavorful. It had two patties. The chopped salad was really good too. My wife got the shrimp tacos. They were delicious and had a little kick to them. We were too full for dessert. My wife had a couple of their signature drinks. She said they were very good. The atmosphere was good. It wasn't loud. There's no parking for the restaurant. So you have to either park in a paid lot or get lucky and find street parking.

This was our first time here. We came to celebrate our anniversary with dinner before we went to see “Wicked”at Sheas. We didn’t know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised at what a nice place this was. First of all our waitress,Brianna was the best waitress ever! She was very pleasant & very accommodating Her service was speedy & with a great smile. The manager stopped over to our table to see how everything was & he was also quite pleasant. Service overall was great! I ordered the small strawberry feta salad with grilled chicken & my husband got the wood fired steak sandwich. Both were excellent. & the menu prices were very reasonable. The restaurant atmosphere was “industrial” modern with high metal ceilings that made it a bit on the noisy side but not so noisy that you couldn’t carry on a conversation. . I’m glad we found this restaurant! We will be returning for dinner &/or drinks next time we are downtown. I highly recommend it!

Yayyy LOVED it so so so much. Mia helped my friend and I out last night and we absolutely loved her!! She was a good time! Food is definitely a little pricey but the portion size made up for it. Loving the vibe and industrial atmosphere at Vice Restaurant in downtown Buffalo! Great menu to choose from! Delicious appetizers in shareable portions. I've been here on several occasions trying everything from their wood fired pizzas, salads, and on this visit I had their chicken cutlet entree which was really good! I really appreciate their creative cocktails and extensive bourbon selection too! This is a great place to dine before an event. They know how to hustle service if you have timed tickets for a show. I definitely recommend making a reservation. One odd thing I noticed this dining experience that never showed up before was an automated gratuity charge for only two people. We had already left a really generous tip and I didn't notice until the next day when I looked closer at the receipt. It was fine since the service was great but if they continue to do that for any size table not just groups it really should be mentioned when the bill is presented. Otherwise it was another great dining experience at Vice!

Excellent meal. Our waitress Tatum was great. Veronica tge event manager accommodated our group nicely. The kitchen manager checked in with us to see how everything was. Highly recommend this for group dining. We had 30 in our group. Kimani is a wonderful server! The beet salad was on point. Husband got the salmon and loved it. My shrimp and Brussels sprouts were delish. It’s a lively spot, good music, great draft selection. Definitely glad we ate here while we were in Buffalo!

I would rate the food 10 stars if I could, so so good!! Seared Ahi Tuna, very fresh and tender, and the wood fire bourbon meatballs sitting atop scoops of mashed potatoes, was so fantastic! I would return just for those meatballs in bourbon sauce. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. We came around 11:30pm so the vibe is probably different than a typical dinner hour. It was loud, but people watching was at its all-time entertainment!!

This was our 3rd time coming here and as usual each time has been great. The staff is amazing and always on top of things. The food comes out fast, hot and fresh each time. I’m starting to think the manager Chris just lives here he is always here lol. Very nice though and very much interactive with all the guests in a genuine way. Tonight we had Sam as our waitress and she was amazing. She was very sweet and helpful. I felt bad because we had to make her run up and down the stairs a bunch of times for things but she was right on top of it with a smile. This place has definitely become a regular of ours.

Nice restaurant with a bar and an open kitchen. They even have cornhole for people to have some fun. We had the steakhouse burger and beet&goat cheese salad. Steakhouse burger was tasty, oily and a bit too salty. Overall, a good burger with some costco texture fries. The salad was good. The disappointing part is that the receipt comes with an automatic 20% gratuity, and after you pay, the audacity to show an additional tip option on top on the receipt. The service was good but there were only 2 of us, not a party of 4-6+ people. Would I recommend, probably not, it wasn’t exceptional, just a regular sports bar with an enforced gratuity.

I’ve been to Patrick’s on multiple occasions & my friends & I love it but this past weekend the staff seemed very underwhelmed & slightly unprofessional for the amount of reservations booked. After 2-3 comments to staff about being given 4 stools for a party of 20 when we were previously told arrangements could be made we were accommodated for the size of our group we had booked for in the first place. A staff member walked off on us while we were trying to give back a misplaced order she hadn’t helped us the rest of the evening after that . Multiple plates were brought to our table that we hadn’t ordered & we felt that they were taking their frustration out on us because the order system THEY have . More bar tenders & staff are needed also a more diverse staff!! Lastly we arrived at 6:59 1 person in our group was told we can stay 2 hrs another person in our group with reservations was told 3 hrs & we were all told around 10:25 the 11pm reservation was here early & we had to leave the space . Hopefully they’ll improve don’t know if I’ll be back in the evening too chaotic .

The waitress was high or aloof or something. She was clueless as to what was going on. She forgot our order. She forgot we were her customers. She was cool but seemed a bit out of touch.

The drink was good, the atmosphere was awesome, but the bartender took more than 20 minutes to just notice i was at the counter. He repeatedly served people that had arrived after me and ignored me.

Have been here a handful of times it never gets any better. The service is maybe the worst I’ve ever had. My husband and I wanted to go enjoy apps and watch the sunset this past Friday. The only reason this review got 3 stars is 100% off the view and overall atmosphere of the place. But not once being acknowledged by staff (maybe 20 people there total) and when brought to their attention joke and laugh and say we thought you were taken care of. Yes after waiting 15 mins to order a drink another 15 to order food another 15 to close our bill. Meanwhile your staff is just walking past our neatly stacked plates and empty drinks. Again…no one there. I don’t know how this was possible. But I def won’t be going back for that type of outting there again.

Tatum provided good service. Came to try the brussel sprouts since it was Monday and other recommendations were closed. Edible but not the best I’ve ever had. I would explore other venues before returning. But overall meal was decent and service was acceptable.

Few positives and few negatives about this place. Positive was the chopped steak sandwich, the bread was fresh and steak was delicious. The shrimp appetizer was very good. The negatives: we were seated in a very uncomfortable end of the bar where chairs were same height as the table top, not sure who came up with this genius idea; we ordered Steakhouse burger, fried shrimp for app and wood fired steak sandwich. We waited for almost 15 minutes for food and at the end the burger came out cold, cheese was already solid, the meat was barely warm so not sure how long it’s been sitting on the station. The burger was underwhelming, totally not worth the price and the bacon was half cooked. I think the main reason we came there was because reviews were high and highly praised their food, I feel like it is an average place and no way as good as these people were giving it. Just my two cents, we never thought we’re were taken care in timely manner by our bartender, maybe that’s why he left our food sit so long or maybe because we didn’t order alcohol?.. who knows.

So my party of 9 arrived on time at our 6:30 reservation time. Wasn’t seated until 8:10pm, ordered food and drinks that WE NEVER GOT. We left at 10pm after realizing we would not receive any food and although we spoke to 4 managers and the owner, we never gotten any resolution. They wouldn’t even offer us free drinks for the inconvenience. We suspected friends and family were being seated and served before us but after receiving this post, it’s confirmed. Do not go here unless you know the owners or one of the workers or you won’t be seated or fed

The views provide a great ambiance. However, as a young Black professional I did not feel welcomed at all. The staff did their job but did not seem interested in serving us and I noticed the security only asked for ID from the Black men. It appears the establishment is only interested in serving a certain type of elitist crowd and if you do not fit that persona you may not have the best experience. Thankfully there was one server that made the experience okay. She displayed humanity and treated people with respect!

I ordered truffle fries and a double order of wings half mild half hot garlic parm. It took an hour to get my food. My fries were cold and they sent me a double order of mild wings. When I said something they gave me a cup of parm to sprinkle over my wings. I really like it the establishment, but please do better with the service!!! I will try it again!!!

The bouncer was very rude and unprofessional. The way he screamed at me made me very uncomfortable. I would not return to this bar/club again because of how rude and aggressive the bouncers were. I have never been treated this way at any establishment. This place is not worth the money they charge to get in, you will be treated terribly by the bouncers, screamed at and humiliated. The rooftop is nice, but the way the bouncers behaved ruined the experience. This place is a bad representation of Buffalo.

They shut the place down for a private event and didn’t tell anyone with reservations that they were cancelled. Wouldn’t recommend.
