I dropped by on Sept. 25 and bought an ice cream cake for the hubs. Its different from the usual fare for cakes baked with pastry underneath. Needless to say, it was a hit and everybody enjoyed it. Happy Birthday hubs! 💘
Ice cream machines aren’t putting out as cold as they used to. Seems to be problem in most of Dairy Queen’s now day. Still good but plan on a mess
My boyfriend and I just got out of the drive thru & Christian (I think that's his name) helped us. He was wonderful! He was so nice and he went above and beyond to help us piece our order together. We really appreciate him and all his help. Thank you so much!
I just started going to this Dairy Queen. Bought the burger meal and the dairy queen sundae for my teenager. He loved it. It was tasty and the sundae was incredible. Highly recommend this location. I believe it is under new ownership and the place is really clean.
I was in the mood for a soft serve vanilla cone and I decided to stop by this Dairy Queen location along Federal Highway to get it. This place not only offers the classic frozen treats and drinks, but there's also a hot food menu where you can get cooked to order - burgers, hot dogs, fish & chicken sandwiches, chicken strip baskets, and sides. It was pretty quiet inside when I entered the building. I greeted a male employee and asked for a small plain cone which I received very quickly. The ice cream was creamy and so yummy...almost made me regret getting a small size.
I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding an incident that occurred at one of your locations. On 10-09-2025, I visited the store a little after 10:10 PM as a DoorDash driver to pick up an order. The front door was completely open, so I entered the restaurant to collect it. Immediately upon entering, the Manager on duty began yelling at me, stating that the inside was closed and he could not assist me. I understood that policy was being enforced, and that in itself was not the issue. The problem was the way in which it was handled. Instead of speaking respectfully, the Manager continued shouting at me in front of other staff. When I asked why he was yelling, his only response was, “This is how I talk.” He then went further and insulted me by saying I should “get my poor DoorDash working out of his store” because I “only make a dollar anyway.” This was not only unprofessional but also highly offensive and degrading. His comments made me feel belittled and discriminated against. I am a licensed aesthetician and also own two other businesses. While my professional background should not matter in this case, I share it to emphasize that no customer or delivery driver regardless of their occupation should ever be treated in such a disrespectful manner. It is deeply disappointing that someone in a managerial position is representing Dairy Queen in this way. I have already reported this incident to DoorDash as well, but I felt it was important that Dairy Queen leadership be made aware. I truly hope this matter is addressed, as no one should be subjected to this type of treatment at your establishments. Do better, Dairy Queen.
The workers here cant handle the pressure of a 5 car line. The older dude manager was having a mental breakdown lol. I came here as a doordasher and theyre rude to us dashers too. They dont prep the sauces properly so peanut butter sauce is like hard scooped regular peanut butter. Just drive up to the one north of it. 100x better. Ill never come back here as a customer.
This place sucks, there like no mangers, or anyone to help customers at the front counter, there’s 4 people in line no one in the drive thru and everyone’s letting the lady struggle with a coupon at the front counter.
Service very slow. One customer was told it would maybe be better to use the drive- through. I left without placing an order because there was so little effort to take care of customers.
No one had a key to the freezer. And they forgot to make the cheese curds, so the ice cream was all made, and the cheese curds had to go into the fryer. There was no way to keep the ice creams that were all cold in the freezer because no one could get into the freezer. I did not receive my dilly bars. And the ice cream was completely melted. What a joke.
Asked for a medium cone got a small, ordered a small banana split blizzard with pecan and didn’t have any pecans so hard to follow directions will not be coming here again
Ordered 2 ice creams to go, they gave me one and then made me wait 20 minutes for the other. Didn't offer any compensation or any remake for the melted ice cream. Made multiple people's orders who came after me, including people who ordered the same exact ice cream??? Will not return, very disappointed.
I’ve been coming to DQ for over 40 years! First time ever receiving terrible service. They made an error with my dipped cone order . I asked them to remake it after I explained 3x’s how the cashier made the error. I was shocked when the Manager on duty told me to ask nicely if I wanted the cone replaced ! DQ headquarters you should definitely look at the store's video to see how your customers are treated by this Manager. 12/29/25 4:19 pm I’ll be back to DQ but never to this location!
I ordered a chicken strips sandwich combo large size. The combo was $10.29. They charged me $4.49 for a large fry and an additional $4.49 for a large Coke. So the total for just the combo was $20!!! That’s absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. I will not be coming here anymore. These fast food chains like Dairy Queen, who price gouge need to be put out of business.
Well I wanted to treat my daughter to a large blizzard and a 6 piece chicken basket. It’s kind of far from my home so I didn’t question the fact that my total bill was $23 and change. No receipt was provided. I didn’t question it at the time because this is a treat for my daughter. Can a manager reach out to me and explain why no receipt was provided and why you hire little thieves to work your store. Thanks!!!
Usually have a good run in with this location. Today I waited in the drive thru line for over 20 min and my car did not move an inch. I decided to go inside to see if that would be faster. Same thing on the inside. Long line and no one at the counter. There was an older lady in the drive thru I overheard said they were short staffed and it was only her. No I did not end up getting my ice cream tonight :(
What an absolute joke! There aren't many DQ's in this area so you really have to drive if that's what you want, I drove 25 minutes for this dairy Queen just to be like horrified by the cleanliness of the staff and restaurant. And then I had to wait 10 minutes at the window for cheeseburgers, cheeseburgers! And then after the 10 minutes they told me to park and they would bring them out to me... Yikes and based on all the other bad reviews that have generic responses from dairy Queen they do not care they do not care about this restaurant!
I just ordered two very simple burgers from DQ as take out drive up and when I got home less than 5 mins later these were the coldest, slopped on saggy burgers I have ever gotten thru any drive thru. They must have been put in the refrigerator as they were cold! Nt Luke warm at all. DQ now I know why there were not others cars there! Couldn’t even fix in air fryer! What a waste of $30 ! Extremely disappointed.
Drove 30 mins. Chili dogs were good but salty. Chicken tenders were ok. Two small blizzards were disappointing. Messed up both of them gave the wrong order. Restaurant does not feel clean. Ladies room was wrecked. Not worth $40
I used to think Dairy Queen was just a fun place for ice cream, but my experience recently changed my mind. The employees there were truly disappointing — rude, inattentive, and completely unprofessional. I stood waiting at the counter for over ten minutes, and not a single employee acknowledged me or even looked my way. When I finally got their attention, they seemed annoyed and unhelpful, barely bothering to answer my questions. The service was slow, and the attitude was even worse. It’s shocking to see such a lack of courtesy and professionalism at a place that’s supposed to be family-friendly and welcoming. Honestly, I’ll think twice before going back after witnessing such terrible treatment from the staff.
I visited Dairy Queen on March 11, 2025, and purchased two chicken strips. After my son took a bite, we immediately noticed that the chicken was completely raw. This is absolutely unacceptable and a major health risk. I called the store and spoke with the manager, who seemed unsure of how to handle the situation. The only resolution offered was a refund, which does not address the seriousness of serving undercooked poultry. I made it clear that if my child gets sick, this issue will go beyond a simple refund. Serving raw chicken is a serious food safety violation that should never happen. I expect someone from Dairy Queen to reach out and address this properly. I also urge the management to take immediate steps to ensure this does not happen to anyone else.
Imagine I never ate Dairy Queen a day in my life and I ordered Dairy Queen for the first time last night and this is how they did me. I ordered a bacon stack burger, and look at the picture. That is what I received. A sloppy burger with barbecue sauce no lettuce no tomato no nothing just a meat patty onion rings, spit, and bacon. I know for a fact, someone spitting that sandwich I’m not sure if it’s because you guys were closing in 30 minutes but this being my first impression of Dairy Queen I will never eat Dairy Queen again, You guys don’t even deserve a second chance, I’m never the type to call corporate because I will just do a review and keep it moving, but this was such a horrible experience that I literally called corporate. The fact that they can see my order and really give me something like that is so unreal and unbelievable, and to make matters worse, DoorDash won’t even refund me after showing them the pictures so I’m out of $20! Dairy Queen is a sorry excuse for a restaurant and I will never Order from them again.
