A coffee shop worth visiting. This place has a great vibe. It is a comfortable space, a pleasant place to hang out. The coffee and matcha art is pretty, with attractive drinks. The lavender matcha is delicious. Latte was not quite top tier (bean issue?) but served at good temperature, good presentation. Enticing pastries available. The staff are very friendly. The shop is on the edge of a pleasant mall, a nice area to stroll around. I recommend this place while strolling in Burbank.
This place is a great spot to study or get work done. There are plenty of charging outlets, and the WiFi is reliable, which makes it easy to stay productive for a few hours. The coffee is excellent, and the food is really good too. Everything tastes fresh and well made. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming, making it an ideal café for both work and relaxing. Highly recommend!
Hidden gem in the Burbank town center! Okay I’m not sure if it’s really “hidden” but the outdoor seating area feels very private and cozy. It’s a little hide away from the busy streets outside. We ordered mocha, americano, and a banana cake. They are all great, with elegant presentation. We will definitely come back again when we are in the area.
First time here, was in the area — got the honey lavender matcha and a breakfast burrito. the matcha was a lil milky but had good flavor. LOVED the burrito— but the potato chunks were a lil too chunky 🥵 still had a pleasant experience and great service :)
Best on the BLOCK! Can’t get a better coffe anywhere else! Thank you so much! My purp Carmel latte was perfect!!!! Matt and Jamie many blessings! Need them managing stores!
5 stars in every category. Everything about Republik Coffee Burbank is wonderful. I had visited the other location in the past and this was my first time, a lovely experience. Everything was delicious, we had coffees, iced tea, espresso tonic, and a variety of pastries. I am a pour over freak and it was delicious. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. One of our guests was older and did not speak the language so she had trouble ordering and wasn’t happy with her espresso. Without any hassle they immediately brought her another drink which she really enjoyed. Such a beautiful experience with family, looking forward to coming back again soon. Thanks Republik! Highly recommend for lunch, coffee, and pastries.
I’m excited for this new coffee shop in Burbank. I’m a coffee aficionado and love to discover new caffeine suppliers. The place is neat and bright, great selection of coffee drinks, and welcoming staff. Black Vanilla Latte was tasty and cozy. I particularly like the black lids it comes with. Much better than the standard ones. Fun seating areas inside and outside. The crowd is young and stylish.
London Fog Tea Latte - 5🌟! Ham & Cheese Crossaint - 5🌟! I was in Burbank to see a movie but I was there early and had time to kill. I wasn't ready for lunch so I looked around for a place to have a light snack. I'm not sure when Republik Coffee opened but it must be fairly recent because I am in the area every couple of months for art fairs, movies and shopping and haven't noticed it before. I can't recall what was in this space before but Republik Coffee seems like a great fit and I hope they have many successful years ahead of them. It is right next to the theater and the main shopping area of Burbank. Parking is easy to find. There is a large, free parking structure (one of many in Burbank), connected to the plaza where the coffee shop is. They had London Fog on the menu and if you haven't had one before, you should try it if you like the flavor of Earl grey tea but want to try it in a latte form. It is a delicious, hot beverage. The tea mixed with the frothy milk is tasty and relaxing. The croissant was incredible. I forgot to ask if they make it in house or source it from a bakery. However they got it, I was very happy with the choice. It felt and tasted like a more upscale savory croissant compared to what you find at most places. They have indoor and outdoor seating. If you are in the area and want to visit a fun, creative, and high quality coffee shop, give them a try!
First time stopping in. Great atmosphere, surprised they had a few more food options than just coffee and pastries. Will stop in again when the opportunity presents itself.
Nice place to take a break and have a good coffee. There is a bench out front where a homeless woman often sits. Last time I was here I gave her $20. After that, I remembered Avalokiteśvara. I was then compelled to stop as I walked past Village Liquor & Market on E Olive. The owner happened to be sitting out front. He got up and opened the door for me. I don't normally buy these, but I bought a scratcher and won $100. I went back and gave her another $20. The rest of the winnings were gifted to some hard working locals. I did not gain and I did not lose, yet four people benefited in some small way. If you come for coffee and she is there, say hello.

One liner: hidden hipster coffee / cafe shop with unique coffee, tea drinks, and food Parking: paid street parking or unpaid parking structure or outside parking lot Atmosphere: live music and casual Sitting: inside and outside and tasteful stylish Drink: vanilla latte- delicious, up there with one of my favorite coffees Tip: Get free cookie, drip coffee, croissant if leave a review
I love working from a coffee shop that nails the vibe—great food, quality coffee, and a chill crowd. For me, that spot is always Republik. I usually hit the Pasadena location, but I recently stopped by the Burbank one to see if the experience holds up—and it absolutely does. Same great service, same energy. Had to drop this review.
Matthew took care of me and he was so kind and helpful. Atmosphere was super chill, and service was quick. The food and coffee were so delicious and high-quality. Would definitely come back. Thank you!
I love a cafè with good food and good coffee. I enjoyed the late and the chilaqules and breakfast sandwich were delicious. Love the vine of the cafe as well. The girl who helped me was very friendly. I would return.
I've walked past this coffee shop a hundred times and it's always too packed for me! But this day I was out early and decided I'd see what all the hype was about! I'm sure I'm getting this wrong, but I ordered a black activated charcoal, vanilla latte... it was delicious! I do think it was a bit expensive for the size and it was full of ice, so that made my feel a bit jipped, but i got over it! I will say downtown Bubank is starting to get a little sketchy in the mornings... so be careful
Pretty damn good and also pretty damn pricy! The food option was overpriced - coffee was killer though. Matcha - meh. Lovely vibes though and outdoor seating is a big plus!
I met a friend for coffee here at the whim and we had breakfast. The breakfast plate was amazing. All the food tasted great and it was a large portion. I especially loved adding the sauce to the rest of the items on the plate. It really made it different. Unfortunately, while the latte I ordered was beautiful, It didn't taste like anything except milk. The coffee shop is tucked between other restaurants and a parking garage, which sounds weird, but actually is quite cozy. There is lots of shade outside and plenty of inside seating. I love that they offer reusable cups for people who want to stay for both water and coffee. The raspberry danish I had was also fantastic and yes, I had way too much food.

A tucked away cafe with a small indoor area to sit in and about the same outside. Good coffee with an interesting menu. They also have some pantry items and to go products in a fridge. The staff is very friendly and seem to really care about how your food is. The pastry I had was alright but the coffee was delicious. Plenty of parking in the area. So it’s a good choice to hit versus Starbucks or something else like it.
Place was packed, cute aesthetic though. Ample seating inside and out. Line to the door. I ordered an iced pistachio latte with Oatmilk and the pistachio foam and my friend ordered the ube latte hot. The ube came first which was not liked at all…my iced latte took literally over 20 minutes to come to the table and I did not taste even a hint of pistachio. It’s a cute place, but if you’re a serious coffee person, you’ll probably be disappointed.
I got breakfast plate - the sausage were not meaty like made out of soy, pickled onions were out of place. The rest was decent. Outside patio was OK, the music was blasting beyond comfort level, and seats were not comfortable. The food was server fairly quick, the service was great. Seems that locals like this place, to me it was one and done.
With the motto “Life is too short to drink bad coffee, our first morning meal in California took us to Republik Coffee on E Palm Avenue in downtown Burbank, right next to the theater and the main shopping area. Upon arrival as first-timers, the establishment’s entrance was set back a bit from the street. The interior was modern, inviting, clean, and bright. It was busy with diners predominantly seated inside on a May gray Friday of Memorial Day holiday. My partner and I found it hard to choose from the many offerings for breakfast on the menu, with a number of vegan options, plus flatbreads, salads, sandwiches, bowls, pastries, prepackaged meals, and a few desserts. We decided on a cappuccino, a sandwich of the day consisting of Mortadella, Irish white cheddar, butter lettuce, cherry tomato, chopped pepperoncini, aloli over baguette, a chicken salad sandwich, and a cinnamon bun. The only downside was that it does get busy, and it can get hard to find a table. So, we sat on bar stools by the entrance. Unfortunately, no one called out for my cappuccino when it was ready, as it had been sitting at the counter for at least 15 minutes, resulting in it being warm and not hot. The sandwich of the day was tasty, but the bread was hard. The chicken salad sandwich had bits of cilantro that were not listed on the ingredients, and my partner had to throw the rest out. They do a good job of making their food look good, but it lacks a lot of things. Unfortunately, we won’t be back.

When we first walked in, the place looked clean and well-maintained. We were served quickly, and the cashier was generally friendly, but no one offered any additional recommendations or suggestions. To the left of the cashier, there was a small display case with croissants, pastries, and sandwiches. However, the case was quite small, and everything inside looked somewhat dried out, as if it had been sitting there for too long. We decided to sit outside. The outdoor waiter was not particularly friendly—there were no smiles, no greetings, and no one checked on the guests to see if they were satisfied. The service felt indifferent. We ordered two ham and cheese croissants, a flat white, and an espresso tonic. The drinks were fine—nothing special. The croissant was mediocre but served hot. However, the service sequence was off. They brought the croissant first, even though our drinks weren’t ready yet. It would have made more sense to serve the drinks first and then the food. Our table was quite dusty and not very clean. We didn’t ask for it to be wiped down, but it should have been done before we sat down. When the croissant was served, no one asked if I needed utensils, nor did they say anything polite like “Enjoy your meal.” The croissant was simply placed on the table, with only a basic white napkin underneath it—on a visibly dirty table. When our drinks finally arrived, we asked for utensils. The waiter brought us two plastic forks and two plastic spoons, again placing them directly on the dirty table. However, we noticed that other guests had proper metal utensils. We had to go back and ask for regular cutlery, which was then brought to us wrapped in a napkin. The flat white was served in a dirty cup—it had visible stains and watermarks, clearly not washed properly. The espresso tonic was served in a plastic cup, which felt cheap and out of place. Overall, I was disappointed. Despite the 4.5-star rating, the service, food, and overall experience were underwhelming. No one checked on us, no one asked if we liked our food or drinks, and there was no interest in customer feedback. The restroom was relatively clean, and the indoor seating area was tidy and fully occupied. However, the dirty tableware, low-quality plastic utensils, and lack of attention to service were major letdowns. No one offered sugar, cinnamon, or syrups, and when I specifically asked if they had sugar-free syrups, they said they didn’t. Additionally, placing napkins directly on a dirty table is simply unacceptable. There should at least be coasters or trays to maintain hygiene. I am giving this place 2 out of 5 stars. I was disappointed and wouldn’t recommend it based on this experience.

Very kind staff and cute atmosphere. The cappuccino was seriously disappointing. Brazil and Guat beans? Brazil is arguably the most boring and inexpensive bean there is. Add the guat for a little bitterness in the back end, represented here. The milk was steamed way too hot so didn’t get to taste the lack of taste for a little while, but even after the cooldown I would have rather had coffee in my hotel room. Most of my reviews are on coffee. I also roast, so I know the challenges. The music in this coffee shop was quite loud. (Likely I’m too old.. yes) good playlist however- Patrons were yelling at each other as they sat at their tables. I saw someone’s order of avocado toast and it looked fantastic! But i didn’t ask for a bite so dunno the taste score. The lids did not fit the small cups. Addressed this with the staff. They agreed. They got new cups.. but not new lids. Apparently they don’t quite get along. So, my rating unfortunately reflects my coffee experience at this store. If you are going to be a craft roaster, please have some interesting profiles available. Thats Not Brazil (unless you’re near the Stuttgart airport in Germany. They have an Incredible brazil!). - If i want boring coffee and loud music, charbucks is across the street.
