Was looking for a quick lunch and found this place on my way. Looked really cool first glance read robots cook the food?? Had to give it a try and so glad I did it was delicious. The employees helped me understand the process so I first get a tray then pick out your dishes. I picked the orange peel chicken, fried rice, and the employee recommended the pepper kurobota pork. For drinks I got the unsweetened oolong tea. Orange peel chicken: 10/10 Fried rice: 8/10 Pepper Kurobota Pork: 10/10 Oolong tea: 9/10 Orange chicken tastes sooo good reminded me of Panda Express but this one had more meat and was more savory Fried rice was good it wasn’t too oily and it had bits of sausage was a nice touch Pepper pork was my favorite it was so juicy and soft it would melt in my mouth. I also loved the grilled veggies that came with it. Oolong tea was good not too strong in flavor but a great way to refresh between bites Extremely clean when entering, the floors were practically sparkling. Decorations were beautiful I loved the mirror ceilings and the lamps. It’s very cute and inviting. Saw the robot woks in action making some food was really cool to see and the food tasted like an actual chef made it no joke Overall really liked this spot and will be coming back again
Really cool spot in Burbank! Tigawok Mini Bowls lets you pick different small dishes so you can mix and match your own combo — super fun and great for people who like variety. The food is surprisingly good, especially knowing it’s cooked by a robot! Everything came out fast, hot, and consistent in flavor. We tried the braised pork rice, tomato egg, mapo tofu, and wagyu curry — all tasted fresh and comforting, just like homemade. The place is bright, clean, and the staff were friendly. Prices are reasonable too. Definitely worth checking out
Absolutely loved Tigawok Mini Bowls in Burbank! Their robot-cooked dishes are amazing — full of flavor and super affordable! The quality and variety make it such great value for money. My top picks: braised pork rice, sweet tomato & scrambled eggs, cola chicken, and pepper pork — every dish was delicious and perfectly cooked. The wagyu mapo tofu and brussels sprouts were also great sides to mix and match. The restaurant itself is bright, modern, and spotless, and the staff are friendly and efficient. It’s so fun to watch how fast everything comes out — the whole “robot chef” concept really works! Definitely one of the best new spots in Burbank for quick, tasty Asian comfort food.
I’m surprised there are mini food bowls only $3 to $7 in LA. I love that I get to try a variety of food here. All their mini bowls were pretty tasty. My favorites were the tomato egg, wagyu beef bowl, and eggplant and string beans. I like how they have veggies too. Portions were good and filling. This is a quick and easy meal that is so affordable. It is nice this is in downtown Burbank with lots of parking lots nearby. It was clean inside and to go boxes were on the table so that was convenient.

I just found this hidden gem in Burbank — Tigawok — and I’m honestly impressed! 🍱 This place serves small bowl dishes that are super affordable and full of flavor. Each dish is around $5–$6, so for about $10–12 you can try several different kinds. Perfect for someone like me who wants to taste a bit of everything! The food was freshly cooked by robot stir-fry machines, which is really fun to watch. Everything tasted so homey — the stir-fried noodles were smoky and chewy, the shredded potatoes were light and crunchy, the spicy pork was tender and flavorful, and the curry beef was rich and comforting. You can tell they put real effort into keeping each dish authentic. The restaurant is bright, clean, and super convenient. You can help yourself to packing boxes and bags, no tipping required, and there’s free parking right behind the restaurant (huge plus in LA!). If you’re in the Burbank area and craving good, affordable Chinese comfort food, Tigawok is definitely worth checking out. I’ll 100% be coming back soon to try more dishes!
One of my fav places to go for a modern spin on Chinese-fast food!! I love that you can buy things individually and it’s so affordable. I usually come here with my partner and we are able to get a few things to share (: my faaaav is the wagyu pork bowl and the new chicken salad dish!
I came today to try out this place, the place was bright and clean. The service was friendly and professional. I chose the Pepper Pork combo, it same with a bowl of Rice, bowl of Pepper Pork and comes with a bowl of Broccoli chili and soda, the Pepper Pork was delicious, it was spicy enough for flavor and not too spicy, the broccoli chili was surprisingly good and goes well with the rest of the meal. They only accept cashless payments only. But they take cash as tips.
The Service: Jessie was helping me at the counter. Super friendly & thoughtful. Excellent customer service! The Food: I chose the orange chicken combo. Portion is generous. Very affordable price. I got there a few minutes earlier before they open, there was customer waiting already. By the time they opened at 11am.... customers walking in one after the other. Everything I ordered was just freshly prepared. They taste like home made Chinese food. I am so impressed with the new technology they use in the restaurant. They use robots to stir fried vegetables. They rice cooker is so high tech & the color matched the store deco too. The self-serve station has everything you need. In addition to napkins, chopsticks, fork & spoons, they also have the lids for the bowls & to-go bags. No need to ask for to-go boxes anymore! Your bowls are your to-go boxes. Microwave & reusable! Nice. Drink station, beside the sodas, they also have unsweetened oolong tea & honey scented black tea (not overly sweet). The Parking: Underground parking (free). Enter from First Street. It's located in downtown Burbank and across from AMC theater. Great location!!
It looks like American Chinese food, but it’s not! It’s very authentic and delicious! The price of the mini bowl is from $3 to $8 each, very affordable! Very nice workers and environment! If I were able to go to this area again, I would definitely check it out again!
Amazing!! Food was absolutely delicious and tender and moist with bursting flavours. The service was very polite, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure after serving our food to wipe any excess sauce around the bowl! Wow!! 10/10 would recommend for a try!
Really good and authentic comfort Chinese food. The service was great and ZERO wait as well. Many healthy choices too for those wanting a lighter meal. The portion is great for combo meals. Would come again!
I stopped by here tonight with my wife to try this place. It was a great decision because the food at Tigawok is delicious. I went with the orange Chicken and rice which also came with broccoli too. I thought the rice was cooked to perfection and the Orange chicken was delicious. My wife got the chow Mein and kung Pao chicken. The chow Mein we believe needed some Sriracha and the kung Pao chicken tasted like basil seasoning. I also ordered chow Mein and pork bun to go for my sister. The staff here are wonderful and dining experience is great.
Here is an awesome spot for a quick lunch break or for a young group because the prices are great! Its actually fit for all ages, it gave me the impression of an Asian cafeteria. You choose from 3 bases: Chow main, steamed rice, and seemed rice with wagyu kurobuta. The "base" is a 16Oz bowl, and it cannot be mixed with other "dishes", hence the mini-bowls. The minibowls are 8Oz, a surprisingly generous portion for the price point. I wanted to try the curry but it was all gone so I went for orange chicken and spicey pork. All the flavors are really good, the restaurant is super clean, and the service was very friendly and patient (even offering tastes to the "munchies" hungry customers). The seating area is littered with power sockets for the customers, another nice touch is the containers the food is served in. The containers are made to be covered if you need to take them home and they have a convenient station with all the kids and silverware. They also have wheelchair accessible bathrooms that are separate for both ladies and men. Definitely give it a go, I don't think you will be disappointed! If you are, you need a hug!
I highly recommend the orange chicken here! I love that it was perfectly crispy and overall each piece was cooked the same (is it because of the wok?) I'll have to try other locations to see! The interior is clean and the staff is super nice at this location. I recommend this spot as a quick grab in go for lunch or dinner.
Wow!! I truly feel like being transformed into the future after seeing Tigawok uses robotic machines to cook all their food to precision. This restaurant is located in downtown Burbank area next to AMC where there are few parking structures around. It was my first time trying Asian cuisine cooked by robots so I was pretty excited yet curious about the flavors at first. At Tigawok you get to pick your base that is placed in a bigger bowl and your main that is placed in a smaller bowl. I decided to order both Chow Mein and Wagyu Kurobota Rice Bowl as my base. Honestly, I could definitely eat these without the main because they are super delicious and come in generous servings. Of course, I still got the main to complete this experiences. I went ahead and ordered: Wagyu Curry - beef was juicy and mix well with the curry flavor Kurobota pepper corn- got that spicy kick that I liked Orange peel chicken- crunchy, sweet, and savory Wagyu mapo tofu - personal favorite All in all i was impressed with the wide selections of dishes they offer here and each one of them has its own unique flavors. The server was also friendly and recommended me with some of their personal favorite dishes too. There are plenty of seatings inside with modern ambiance. Most importantly, everything was so affordable that I couldnt believe that I was still able to find this type of deal in LA!! So, make sure to check this out :)
Food is very reasonable priced and delicious and your food comes in a container with a lid that you can warm up later in a microwave

Was walking through downtown Burbank and just had to stop by after seeing the adorable and clean interior design! The restaurant has an a la carte layout and we loved how they gave lots of tasters and answered all of our questions. Absolutely delicious, we are definitely coming again!

Easy parking in a covered lot nearby. Clean store with grand opening signs still up and friendly workers. Premium food options (wagyu beef, kurobata pork) at reasonable prices. Thoughtful touches with mints and floss picks available. Cool new tech with automated rice dispensers and woks. I think Tigawok will do well. To be fair, I've been to the Sawtelle location and thought the food was 3/5 stars, but the concept of bringing authentic Chinese food to the masses with new automated tech was cool. This Burbank location food seems about the same, maybe 3.5/5 stars since it's still grand opening season. Rice was nice and fluffy, chow mien was a bit too oily (they let me get half half with the combo meal), pepper pork was a bit too fatty, pickled radishes and cold garlic broccoli are nice palate cleansers. Unfortunately the tea drinks weren't available when I went on a Monday at lunchtime, and one of the sauces was also unavailable. But overall a pleasant experience.
I attended a Yelp Dinner Party here at Tigawok! I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of food offered and the overall good quality of the dishes. Specifically, I think the best dishes were: - Sweet Tomato and Scrambled Egg - Flavorful without being too sweet and it was pleasantly moist. - Brussel Sprouts - Crispy on the outside and tender in the middle without being mushy. - Chow Mein - Fried just enough to give it texture, without too much oil. - Curry - Delicious flavor with super tender beef and carrots. - Pepper Kurobuta Pork - Nice texture and flavor that wasn't overpowered by spice. Loved the bits of fat pieces through our for flavor. My least favorite were: - Mapo Tofu - Tofu had very little texture, pieces were too small, and soaked in too much oil. Try boiling larger pieces of tofu in salted water first, then add to broth with significantly less oil. - Orange Chicken - Good tasting sauce, but didn't have the flavor of chicken. Also dry and tough to chew instead of crispy. - Eggplant w Green Beans - Eggplant was overcooked and mushy, and everything covered in too much oil. - Potato Shreds - Overcooked and mushy with too much oil. It seems to be the trend for many of their vegetarian dishes, so worth tweaking this recipes for your veggie loving customers. - Pork Buns - Dry on the outside and needed more meat to burn ratio, but the meat itself was well seasoned. Great job on both Maddy from Yelp and the managers part at making this event memorable. It genuinely felt like a dinner party from the table set ups to the fun fortune activities. I was not a fan of all the single use disposable dishware and cutlery however, especially given Burbank's recent ordinance that requires restaurants provide reusable foodware. ""Effective January 1, 2026, the ordinance prohibits Burbank food service businesses from providing disposable foodware for customers dining on-site."" I encourage Tigawok to explore reusable options for their customers who are eating in, as it will elevate the experience while meeting city requirements. They could even utilize the same robot technology used for their cooking to wash their dishes more efficiently.
Congrats on your grand opening and your mini bowls are deceiving in terms of size - Wow, it was a good amount of food. FOOD 4/5 Orange Peel Chicken - Fried chicken in a sweet and zesty orange sauce. Drypot brussels sprouts + rice SERVICE 5/5 Fantastic service when you enter the door, ordering, to when you leave. Love the genuine friendly employees. PARKING 5/5 Easy parking within the parking structure in the back AMBIENCE 5/5 Large, clean and easy to navigate since it’s a cafeteria style. Order + Grab your utensils and condiments, + Toss your trash or recycle when you leave
