For a gluten free mexican food, this place is amazing. I had the quesadila and the churo bites, neither of which I would have guessed were gluten free. Highly recommend the church bites, truly incredible. I also got the seasonal cantaloupe aqua Fresca, it was shockingly delicious.

We have a personal injury law firm across the street from Tocaya, and we absolutely LOVE this place! I probably order from this place at least twice a week and it never disappoints. I'm sure they know my name by name by now because I always order the Tocaya Salad, which is delicious. The chips are very crunchy and tasty, too. I highly recommend this place. If you like good burritos and tacos and you like a more healthy option, you should check this place out!

Had an awesome time at Tocaya Organica! I ordered the Al Pastor Bowl, which was packed with flavor, paired it with a refreshing Guava Margarita, and ended on a high note with the Churro Waffle Bites—so good. Big shoutout to Letta and Luis, our hosts, who were both super warm and welcoming. Great vibes, great food. Definitely coming back!

One of my favorite go tos! When I want something healthy and quick, Tocaya saves the day. Always fresh & delicious. Love their salad and bowl options, and get burritos sometimes too. Never disappoints! And the team members are very friendly and efficient.

We found a healthy eating treasure in Burbank called Tocaya Modern Mexican. It's a clean cafeteria-like atmosphere in which you can order from your table using a QR code or walk up and order from the cashier. My son called it a new age type business where cash is unacceptable. The food is clean, old-world, and fresh with classic flavors. I enjoyed the Baja fish tacos; the hot sauce brought the flavor out. The corn bowl was excellent, too. The strawberry basil drink was refreshing, along with the sangria. The service was perfect. We will be returning.

Best part is you get best of both world, Vegan food and meat eaters food plus the place is clean and refreshingly different. They also do catering so you can order for the office or for an event. Cool place with large selection of Mexican dishes. The restaurant is brand new and clean. The staff are professional.

The food is incredibly fresh and tastes great. The place has a casual vibe—it's not a formal restaurant—and tends to get busy during lunchtime. If you're looking for a bite, definitely try their birria tacos or birria bowl. Not fancy, but absolutely delicious!

Went here because I got a flyer with some coupons. I used the 2 bowls, 50% off. This place is easy to miss. When we were driving down Riverside Dr. we were keeping an eye out, but still missed it. It's next to Bob's Big Boy, but sandwiched in-between other shops, a pair of trees, and there's a bus stop shelter covering the front. Anyway...I ended up parking my car on a residential street and we just walked it, trying to find it that way. Once you find it, it has a nice outdoor area and inside it's clean and modern with a wall of plants. You can go to the counter to order or use the QR code at the tables. Everything looks healthy, which is great if you're vegan/vegetarian like me or a meat eater like my sister since there's options for both. We were given a number and the food was brought out to our table fairly quickly. The portions are big enough to take some home and the food tastes great. My stomach was growling before we got here and I was sure I'd be able to finish it all, but still had some leftovers, which is good since it is a little expensive. There's also agua frescas to drink, which also tasted good, and were pleasantly surprised that they came in cute mason jars with a handle that you can take home. Overall, it was a good experience except for trying to find the place and parking.

A great spot for a date, just grabbing a bite, or a group to get ready for a night out.

The food was all right. The service was really good. I hate ordering from an app, but the servers made it as easy as possible.

Ordered the steak salad for $20. It’s nice & fresh but tiny, side dish size…. very small portions!

Sadly this Tocaya was a huge disappointment. I'm a big fan of the chain and have come to expect great things from it, but the Toluca Lake location didn't deliver. I found VERY little peppers and onions in my fajita burrito (so few that it took me about half the burrito to find even a diced sliver). My husband also got a burrito, the Mexicano, and each of them were filled about 50 percent with rice, which was undercooked and crunchy at that. The beans in mine were overcooked and mushy also. Another in our party said his chorizo had no flavor and just tasted like ground beef. We won't be returning to this location.

The restaurant is cutting costs by splitting the drink cups holders in half, causing drinks to spill during delivery. I can't understand how such an expensive restaurant allows for such unprofessionalism.

When my friends & I visited this location, we were told that online ordering wouldn’t work for us to get our drinks table side but the Caucasian couple next to us was getting table service. We asked the server if we could order more drinks & she stated that we had to walk up to the counter & order our drinks again! We ordered drinks & waited 20+ mins in a empty restaurant AFTER we had to walk up there and pay for our drinks unlike the Caucasian couple! Their drinks are EMPTY while our table is EMPTY! After waiting over 20+ mins for our drinks, two were made incorrectly. When they made the correct drinks, they gave the ones made incorrectly to two females on the patio for free. Instead of giving them to us complimentary for the mess up! HIGHLY UNPLEASED!

Terrible customer service!!! Called because I paid $30 for 2 burritos that barely had any filling in them. Anita the manager was raising her voice on the phone, telling me I could not get a refund. I don’t understand how someone with such a bad temper could manage a store. I will NEVER come back to this location because of Anita, and the terrible food made here. I love Tocaya I’m a frequent costumer but Toluca Lake Location has lost a loyal customer because of their poor management.

I expect it to be wrong at this point, and it always is. I’ve complained just one other time to the manager, because I order through postmates, and it’s just a nightmare that it’s wrong every time. I was offered a $30 gift card from Georgia, I never picked it up because I don’t like complaining, and again I typically order delivery so I don’t like going there if I can avoid it. but this is soooo annoying that my whole order is utterly wrong 100% of the time. My apologies to the kitchen staff but why, and why does the expo send my order wrong every time… (I have photos, - the ticket was sent correctly, and all the instructions were just ignored and sent anyway). And the quesadilla is barely cooked (there was fully unmelted cheese inside). Edit: 2 weeks after original post and they yet again messed up my soup order…. Added pictures. Every time they get it wrong, I don’t understand. Edit: I changed my rating from 2 stars to 1 star, because I felt bad for the hourly employees who are simply not paid enough, but I have no sympathy for the corporate response which is transparently pathetic (and predictable). The rot begins at the root, the people in charge here have their heads up their plastic a**es. You’re paid too much; do better, you incapable morons.
