The Three Broomsticks offers an immersive Harry Potter dining experience with a lively atmosphere. Many find the food quality surprisingly good for a theme park, especially the ribs. Waits can be long during peak hours, and some dishes are hit-or-miss.

We went to The Three Broomsticks inside Universal Studios before 12pm, and there wasn't much of a line, which was great! We ordered the herb chicken and mac & cheese... both were delicious, and we truly enjoyed our meal. The atmosphere was so nice, it really added to the whole experience. We're definitely going to go back
Quality food, especially for the price and being in a theme park. This place is always our goto place to eat. The atmosphere is on point for the Harry Potter theme. Get the Pumpkin Juice, it's surprisingly wonderful!
The Three Broomsticks restaurant was delicious and the atmosphere was really cool. I think the Harry Potter area of the park is the most immersive area they have at Universal Studios. I got the shepherds pie and thought it was really good especially for theme park food.
Expensive, but if you are a fan, definitely worth the try. Butterbeer was the most memorable for me.
Went here with the family for lunch. Ordered the fish and chips, Mac n cheese, half chicken and BBQ ribs meals. They were all pretty good. The BBQ ribs were the standout in my opinion. The kids loved their food. The prices aren't too bad considering where we were. We received our order very quickly even if it was a busy day. Just eating in a Harry Potter themed restaurant was great to us.
This themed restaurant provided an exceptional and unique dining experience that deserves five stars. While the food was on the expensive side, it was worth it. Their Butterbeer, famous from Harry Potter, had a delightful sweetness and a distinctive taste. The Chicken and Corn dish was delicious, and the Fish and Chips equally satisfying. The excellent customer service and the captivating ambience added to the overall enchanting experience. Highly recommended for fans and foodies alike!
Always fantastic!! Ribs and fish and chips are my go too. Highly recommend.
This place is really good for theme park food. Any Harry Potter fan is going to really love this place, obviously for the atmosphere. But also because the food is tasty. You can get butter beer here frozen, hot and cold. The best thing was the ribs, but I had tried the chicken, Shepard pie, and fish and chips. All were really good
Dine in the world of wizards. We had the rib and chicken platter. They come with corn and plenty of mixed vegetable. They serve interesting alcohol free and wizard beers. Try the place if you have already been to Nintendo cafe, and you need another restaurant in the Universal Studio. Beware, it can get filled up pretty quickly.
This is my 2nd time dining here, and it's been another fantastic experience. The vibes are just perfect, and the food is SOooo good. The first time around, I had the Bangers & Mash (10/10!). This time around, I had the Shepard's Pie 🥧 (9/10!). This place is doing a great job for theme park food! It was quick to order and pick, and they have plenty of seating inside (and outside). This place is a must for any Harry Potter fan for sure! ⚡️
I've dined at quite a few places at Universal and I would definitely argue that this is one of the (if not *the*) top restaurant spots at the park in terms of the quality, portions, bang-for-your buck, and atmosphere! There was a 1 hour wait during lunch so we went elsewhere but returned for dinner and it was probably for the best! Not many people dining at dinner so the whole experience just felt more authentic without the crowds. Pictures are ribs, sticky toffee pudding dessert, roast chicken, Butterbeer potted cream, and pumpkin juice.

If you’re a Harry Potter fan, you definitely need to give this restaurant a try! The place really gives off those Harry Potter vibes it feels like stepping into the wizarding world.⚡️ I got the Bangers and Mash, which was really good with a decent portion size. I also tried the Butterbeer, and I loved it! The prices are pretty reasonable too.Definitely worth trying at least once especially for all the Potter fans out there! 🪄✨
Ambiance is awesome. What else can I expect from Universal Studios Park? The back patio is great for one of the quietest spots in the entire park. 5 of 5 Counter service was friendly and pretty fast. 3.5 of 5 I came for the butterscotch pudding. It had some vanilla ice cream on top. It was very good. It was basically a butterscotch bread pudding muffin. I wish it was bigger but it was very good and a fair price. 4 of 5
It's definitely the best food on the park! The bangers and mash are a good option. The portion size is decent, we felt full. Theres plenty of seating inside and outside.
For theme park food, Three Broomsticks exceeded my expectations. Theming is outstanding! I may not be a Harry Potter fan, but I very much respect and appreciate the attention to detail, it was such a fun and unique dining experience! •Half Chicken, Roasted Potatoes and Corn 4/5 (Fast Food/Theme Park Scale): two of us shared (one big eater + one small eater), we had plenty of food. The chicken was well-cooked, not overly salty or greasy, roasted potatoes were well-seasoned, and the corn had good flavor. This is a great option over something heavy or deep fried! •Chicken Salad 4/5: my friend ordered this, we were shocked by the portion, it was huge! Shredded chicken, variety of leafy greens, cucumber, lots of corn, grapes, and choice of dressing (on the side). For the price, it’s a lot of a food and shareable. They have every kind of condiment, staff were friendly and promptly clean tables. This is definitely a hot spot, so if possible, eat here outside of “normal” meal times. Highly recommend, not just for the immersive environment, but as a healthier alternative inside the park!

The Three Broomsticks at Universal Studios Hollywood is a unique dining experience with a Harry Potter twist, but the food can be a bit hit-or-miss. I visited around quarter before noon when it was still relatively quiet, and had the Fish & Chips while my girlfriend tried the Roast Chicken Platter. Unfortunately, both dishes were somewhat dry and overdone. The Fish and Chips, while crispy on the outside, lacked moisture and flavor in the fish itself. Similarly, the Roast Chicken was dry and could have used more seasoning to enhance its taste. The British fare was decent overall, but the execution left something to be desired. The atmosphere, however, was enchanting and truly transported us into the world of Hogwarts, making the meal somewhat memorable despite the culinary shortcomings. If you're a die-hard Harry Potter fan, it's still worth a visit, but be prepared for potential disappointments on the food front.
The service was quite slow, there were very few people but we waited 20 minutes for our food. The inside looks nice, but could have had some more Harry Potter touches
The Three Broomsticks at Universal Studios Hollywood is a must-visit spot if you’re exploring the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Located right along the main street in the Harry Potter area, it’s hard to miss and draws a big crowd—especially around lunchtime. We visited at peak time and the line was quite long, which is expected for a theme park restaurant, but the process moved along steadily. The staff were friendly and helpful, walking us through the menu and answering our questions with a great attitude. We ordered the fish and chips, spare ribs, and both a hot and a cold butterbeer—because how can you not when you’re in Hogsmeade? After placing your order, there’s another line to pick up the food, and you’ll need to listen carefully for your number to be called from one of the pickup windows. Once you have your tray, you’re guided into a large, themed dining hall with plenty of tables, though finding an open one can still be tricky during busy hours. We got lucky and snagged one just as another group left. As for the food: the portions were generous, and while the flavors didn’t particularly wow us, the quality was solid—definitely better than your average theme park meal. The fish was crispy, the ribs were flavorful, and everything came out hot and well-prepared. The cold butterbeer lived up to the hype, while the hot one was very sweet—my partner loved it, but it wasn’t really my thing. If you like rich, sweet drinks, you might enjoy it more than I did. Overall, the Three Broomsticks delivered a good experience with hearty food, immersive decor, and that magical Harry Potter vibe. It might not be a culinary standout, but it’s the perfect place to recharge with a solid lunch before heading back out for more rides and adventure. Definitely worth checking out if you’re spending the day in the park!
The vibe is nice but I wouldn’t say it gives you as much of a “cozy” vibe that you would expect with a Harry Potter theme. It’s feels kinda empty inside. It definitely needs more tasteful decorations and more in theme seating options to help give people the cozy vibe you would expect. The food is alright. It’s in my own opinion slightly above average for taste. The butter beer is delicious though. Especially the hot butter beer. I wish they had more food options. The food options you see in the movies definitely don’t really match the food you see in the restaurant. The staff are very nice of course. I would go back but probably just grab another hot butter beer and go somewhere else for food. I feel universal was so close to making the place what it could be but they just didn’t get the nail directly on the head.
Good food quality, but slow service. I tried fish and chips, and they served in about 30 minutes. Hopefully they'll increase service speed soon. Place atmosphere was great.
Regular food, portions were fine. Had the roast chicken, fish and chips, and the sticky toffee pudding. Chicken was a bit dry, the fries had no flavor and the toffee pudding was mid.
Of course the wait times can be crazy but which place does not have crazy wait times in the park if you go during the most busy times? Overall the ambiance of the place is good. Food is mediocre. Their corn on the cob, stick pudding and the potatoes that come with the chicken were really delicious. The chicken and fried fish were just okay. Butter-beer is refreshing and sweet, I didn’t personally like the pumpkin juice. You have to have all your food before you can get seated. So if you are a big group everyone has to stand in a corner or wait until the food is picked up to get seated. The staff at the counters is friendly but the staff in the dining area seems to be fed up with their jobs and I did catch one of them Being rude to some customers.

I'm sorely disappointed in the food at The Three Broomsticks. I ordered the shepherds pie and it was incredibly salty. My boyfriend ordered the chicken and it was very bland. The butterbeer tasted of sugar and nothing else. The sticky toffee pudding tasted very dry and was difficult to eat. The only thing I enjoyed was the pear cider which was delicious! The best part was being in the Three Broomsticks and the staff that were friendly and gave us a few genuine laughs. I recommend going in to check out the restaurant but not eating there.

We had lunch here 12/9. My husband and I ( on separate tickets) both ordered the holiday meal. He ( who ordered after me) had his food in about 5 minutes. It took them 25 minutes to finally call my name. I waited patiently for 10 minutes as party after party behind me retrieved their meals. When I finally spoke up, the staff was dismissive, saying that it may depend on what is ordered (?). The menu is small, and my order was not unusual. After the third inquiry when I was seriously considering canceling the order and demanding a refund, I told the staff I was not leaving the counter until I got my food. They seemed annoyed but someone grabbed the check and finally, after just under 30 minutes, I had my lunch. No apologies were given. The restaurant was not crowded. There were plenty of tables available. It’s a shame the service was so poor because the food is very good. This experience put a damper on what was otherwise a fun day at Universal Hollywood.
