You get a lot of really good food for the money. Servings are huge! Servers are friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy. I never have room for one of those pies, but they look SOOOOO good!!!

Such a great place to visit on a long road trip. The service is always warm, friendly and efficient. I've had everything from French Toast to the Veggie Burger. The food is consistently delicious. Definitely a must try if you have a group of people who can't agree on what to eat. The menu is vast! Kids love it!

This restaurant was overall great! Me and my Wife had no wait time on a Saturday night and had a warm greeting. The place is very cozy, charming, and had a relaxing feel. Jasmine was our waitress and she was amazing. She gave great recommendations and treated everyone so respectfully, as if we were interacting with a family member. The food was great, well-portioned, and at a good price. I had the chicken fried steak with broccoli and onion rings with no regret. Overall such a great experience.

I only been to Black Bear a few times, and each time its been this location. I love their food and service. My server Autumn, she was great, was very sweet and attentive. Ill be back soon!

Fabled Narrative

I found this place to be a really enjoyable experience. The entire atmosphere was all about bears. You walk through the gift shop at the beginning, so the atmosphere is unapologetically, "bear" 🐻. It was awesome. Chairs, tables, decor, support beams: "bear" 🐻. Our menu were newspapers with, you guessed it, "bear". 🐻 Our server did a good job with attending our needs, the atmosphere was the best part, and the food was actually really good. I ordered the omelet with a biscuit and fruit. The biscuit was SO much bigger than I thought and it was fluffy! The kitchen was like an old time diner. (Unlike IHOP), you can see the kitchen window and it was more of an open concept where you could sit at the "bar". My mother's response was, "It was efficient. It was clean. Everyone was nice." I agree. A food company is really only three things, "Food, Service, and, Niche/decor/hook." I think the Black Bear Diner has all three. I would love to see the young staff more on their toes knowing that the guests coming in pay their checks. But I was satisfied with how everything was being ran and the attitudes of those there. Worth trying out at least once. 👍

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stopped in at Black Bear Diner and it was an amazing experience! We ordered The Grizz and two Sausage Biscuit plates with extra bacon. Let me just say—I’ve never had better sausage and biscuits in my life! The biscuits were fluffy, the sausage was seasoned perfectly, and that bacon… absolutely to die for! If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. On top of the incredible food, the decor is so fun and welcoming—it really adds to the whole experience. Highly recommend!

This was my wife and I's first time here. The atmosphere is Bear themed throughout, I liked it. We were seated right away on a Saturday morning. The waitress was Amber(Am-bear on her tag 😊), she was great, very friendly and on her A- game. I ordered the Grizzly plate. It had eggs, thick bacon, sausage and delicious ham. It also had hash browns which, out of my whole experience, I think could have been better, because they were rather crispy, like thin tortilla strips. They weren't bad, just not what I expected. The pancakes were the best I've had anywhere so far... Kudos!!! My wife enjoyed her plate also, similar to mine but smaller. She loved the ham as well. Our coffee cups never got less than halfway. I found my new spot. I definitely recommend! You will enjoy the food and the staff.

The restaurant was clean, charming and it has a multigenerational feel to it. This restaurant has exceptional branding. We were immediately seated and our waitress promptly came over to greet us. Our waitress (Shannon) was fantastic! She was welcoming and accommodating. DH ordered cinnamon roll French toast with house made Italian patty sausages (hot) and scrambled eggs. He said all his food was really good. He enjoyed the sausage and it had just the right amount of kick to it. I ordered over hard eggs, house made Italian patty sausages (mild) and sweet cream waffles. My food was very tasty. We also both ordered coffee which we enjoyed. We plan to bring our family next time!!

Normally, I would have to wait until my trip to Salinas, CA to eat at Black Bear but there's one near me now. Have mixed review on the food. I dined in (breakfast food) and to-go (dinner- meatloaf and roasted turkey plate). I forgot to get photos of the to-go orders but they were plated well and sauce seperate. The meatloaf and turkey were overcooked and on the dry side. The sauces were very thick and slightly salty. The veggies were cooked and seasoned well. Now, the breakfast items was a perfect. Pictures attached. Large portion (served on a small plater). Our server was attentive and polite. The place was clean and spacious.

The portions are huge and the food was good. But I got there early the sun was not up. I guess at that time they run with one server or someone didn't show up, either way, it negatively effected my first time visit. I had to wait to order, because after the menu was delivered, the crowds showed up. Not really, maybe 4 or 5 tables, more than the server could handle I waited too long for everything: to order, for the food, for my coffee, for my check, for my payment, for the to go containers. I'm sympathetic to understaffing, but it does not make the truth of the visit better. It sucked. Would not recommend. Won't return. Great food is easy. The experience means everything.

Sunday after church around 1:00pm was pretty packed. It was my boyfriend and I. the wait was 25 minutes, but we got in after 15. PROS: ✅ ATMOSPHERE -is a fun Colorado cabin style, it was clean and taken care of and a nice smell. Our table and seat were clean as well as the others around us and also workers cleaning.🧹 STAFF-The first hostess was a young girl with red hair and she was kind, our waitress Jolene, it was very sweet and apologetic because our service did take a while and talk to the manager and got five dollars taken off our tickets because of our wait time without us even having to ask. She did a well job on updating us. There is also a tall African-American guy with chains and an arm, tattoos, and he was nice as well. ✅ FOOD- The mashed potatoes and gravy were good as well as the bacon (taste wise) and the turkey club sandwich. CONS: ❌ STAFF- it took us about 45 minutes to receive our food we had the Grizz and the turkey club. I understand that it was busy but for the size portions, I feel like it could have been done quicker. There was a couple times we could hear the staff yelling at each other through the window. FOOD-for the Grizz, we were pretty disappointed in the size because the menu makes it sound like it is a very large meal as well stating the bacon is a thick cut. as a ham steak, which we believe that it must’ve been cut into thirds because it was not even the size of half a ham steak. The bacon was skinny, and the pancakes tasted like they were made out of a box and were very light in color. We got a fresh fruit side, which was only melon and TWO grapes. We were at least expecting a variety of melon like maybe some cantaloupe or something or some strawberries or anything than just honeydew. The turkey club was quite delicious. It was eaten on sourdough bread and the mashed potatoes and gravy were honestly really good so there wasn’t really an issue with that order. This being said there was a piece of lettuce on the Grizz plate that had like four different types of crumbs on it as well as a piece of cheese that was not even in the food that we were getting so it seems like maybe it was on the counter or something, but it was pretty un appetizing and seemed a little worrisome as well as a red Substance on the pancake plate when there was nothing else red on the food that we were eating, which makes me feel like the plates were dirty. (Show in photo) WE WILL TRY AGAIN!!! we’d like to try again since we really like the atmosphere and the food wasn’t horrible, but maybe at a different time during the day or a different location.

We waited for almost 45 minutes to have the food served and when it came the food were not hot. The plates were hot but not the food. The hash brown weren’t cooked (its still just chopped potatoes). The french fries that came with the reuben were cold and stale, like its been sitting out there for awhile. The reuben tasted okay. The pancake was not hot, no butter served or available at the table. I understand that the restaurant was busy but if I had to wait 45 minutes for the food, at least served it properly and fresh.

I ordered off of the breakfast menu. The price was not bad. The waitress was friendly and polite. I placed my order along with everyone at the table. Some received their meals and other, (along with myself) were still waiting. After I finally received my order, it was cold! I asked her to take the meal back. I also asked to pay for the coffee, but the waitress apologized for the delay and took care of the coffee. She was really nice about the matter. I did purchase a beautiful necklace for my granddaughter.
