The absolute best place around for donuts and sausage rolls! Been coming here for decades. Don't know where any of the negative reviews are coming from, I've tried all the other donut shops in and around the area and nothing else compares. I honestly can't believe how much better their sausage rolls and donuts are than any other place in town. I've been there at different times and days, everything has always been fresh

This is the gold standard for donuts! Perfect icing ratio, soft inside, slightly crusty plain/chocolate donuts. The old-fashioned/cake/buttermilk style are to die for!!

Yall I've never had donuts like this place. omg the fluffy texture of the donuts. the icing and omg anything with cinnamon so freaking good. I'm already craving to go back tomorrow. My husband doesn't like donuts but he was asking me to go back hahaha. this will be our new go to donut place

Highly recommended I've had every donut in Johnson county none of them are even close to being this good my kids and I have ate here the last 10 yrs and the owner has always been good to us she is such a sweet lady

I have to say this is one of the worst donut shops that I have been to. I ordered 3 different kinds of donuts and the sausage rolls and each and every one of them were hard. I'm quite sure they were left from the day before because this was at 7:30 in the morning. I'll continue to go to the one on Renfro.

Employee was nice. Donuts were just ok. They felt and tasted like were old though instead of fresh fried.

I’ve lived in this town for 34 years, and this has been my favorite donut place in town for like 30 of those years. I’m not sure if someone else bought it, or what’s going on because here lately there’s barely any eclairs, no 2% milk, NO milk at all today. As well as no donut holes at all? What the heck man?

Definitely not Southern Maid donuts! The ladies were nice but that’s all the good I can say about this place. The donuts taste weird, they don’t taste stale but they don’t taste fresh either. They are soft, but they have some sort of funky taste to them it’s hard to describe. The chocolate doesn’t even taste like chocolate, it literally just tastes like sugar paste. Me and my family couldn’t even finish a full one each, we tossed the rest in the trash. Will not be going back.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Pigs in a blanket are nasty and stale. They split the sausage in half to give you the illusion that it's bigger than it actually is. They taste like they were made last week. Breading has no flavor at all, and they just slap a piece of cheese in the middle. They are the worst thing I ever tasted. What a waste of money. It amazes me that someone could mess up something so simple but yall sure did. Too many other options around town to eat this slop. Go somewhere else.

This is not a Sothern Maid Donut Store.. they are using a quality name and registered trademark illegally.. .. nosign, noboxes, what a disgrace.... I mean dont label itself southern maid.. really should be illegal
