The food and the atmosphere were both great and at a reasonable price! I'm not from the San Francisco area, so I have been having what my Midwestern brain would consider very expensive meals. I was shocked that I could get a crepe stuffed to the brim, a latte, and some ice cream for $16. I thought the portions would be small, but I was so full when we finished eating here! The staff were also very friendly, and the area itself is so cute! I would 100% go back.
The afternoon manager is so delightful -- really takes care of the diners. I love the food -- nice portions so I always get two meals out of eating here. Servers are very attentive, plenty outside seating, and heaters to keep us warm.
I've been here for 3 days in a row while on a trip and I have gotten consistently the best food and service of any restaurant in this area. Food comes out quickly and with the same quality each visit. Love the staff, atmosphere and food!
An amazing place for any time of day. The wait is not very long even with a line out the door. Staff is friendly. Service is efficient. Food is excellent. I ordered the cote d'azur benedict and my friend ordered the Burlingame sweet crepe. Both dishes are well made. My poached eggs are perfect with just the right amount of hollandaise sauce. Paired well with salmon, spinach, and English muffin. My friend's crepe is not too sweet and the ice cream is a nice touch than the usual whip cream (though crepevine give you both! *two thumbs up). We did not feel rushed. I definitely recommend coming here!!!
My favorite place in Burlingame - see prior review but now with expanded eating area minimizes any wait on the weekends and new bathrooms capable of serving multiple people make it much more convenience. Second fireplace, lots of space, fantastic food, even better service led by the magician manager Gio - just a great neighborhood eatery. Highest recommendation
The Crepevine location in Burlingame expanded providing a nicer ambiance. Food great as always. Huge portions!
delicious! Very attentive staff. Fresh, high quality feeling ingredients. Very good.
As a traveler and a food lover, I’ll admit—I’m picky and a bit eccentric when it comes to reviewing food. My top priorities are always taste, quality, and service. Let’s be upfront: the Bay Area has hundreds of great restaurants, but let’s also be real—service often leaves a lot to be desired. However, there are a few rare spots that go beyond delicious food and offer an incredibly warm, enjoyable experience. That’s why I had to review this place. My girlfriend and I ordered the Cardinal Chicken Breast Rustic Garlic Aioli Sandwich with arugula and French fries. Oh my god, those fries! They were beyond amazing—crispy, golden, and perfectly seasoned. I’d come back just for that sandwich and those fries. But if you’re in the mood for something unforgettable, you must try the Swedish Oatmeal Pancake with Fruit Compote on top. It blew my taste buds away! We asked for the compote on the side, and it was perfect. We also tried the Americano Breakfast—three eggs, high-quality bacon, and, yes, those fantastic fries again. And the orange juice? Wow! It tasted unbelievably fresh because they squeeze it right there. You can taste the difference. But let me tell you, the service here is something special. It felt like we were dining at a friend’s house—they truly treat you like family. This is an amazing place with amazing food and incredible service. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Wow. Where do I even begin?! I haven’t been this blown away by a restaurant in years. My s/o and I are on the road traveling (all the way from Louisville, KY) and we found this spot online. We are near the end of our trip, fly out insanely early tomorrow, and have had a little bit of a hard time navigating through new Covid protocols while in town, but we finally found a spot with outdoor dining, open late enough for us to get a good meal before bed. Upon arriving, we noticed a man bussing a table outside. He saw us walk up and greeted us on the patio. A super nice woman (I believe her name is Margarita) also greeted us immediately following, but told us her card machines were down — that they were accepting cash only. Sadly, we had no cash, so we thanked her and turned around to leave when she stopped us and said “it’s okay! Come in and eat! You can come back another time.” So surprised by her reaction, we told her we were from out of town, so we wouldn’t be able to come back as we fly out early in the morning. She insisted still that we come in to eat, and told her staff behind the counter to give us whatever we ordered. Watching her do this, without even a little hesitation, was so humbling. We were completely taken aback by her immense kindness. Knowing we can’t even repay them another time, because we aren’t from here, she still insisted we come in and eat with a smile on her face. Now - if that wasn’t amazing enough, we continued to be wowed. After ordering, we chose a seat on the patio, and a nice gentleman came over to ask if he could get us waters. The service was so fast, our food probably arrived within 10-15 minutes of being seated. We had some of the BEST pasta (see photos). The food speaks for itself, and the service was top notch. Not one table around us sat dirty. As soon as people left, they were cleaned. As soon as we finished our food, a gentleman came and quickly cleared our plates. If you’re considering visiting this place, please take this as your sign. You have to. Their food was great, service was even better, and the family aspect of their restaurant radiated from every corner. If we lived here, it would be our new regular spot. I know when we come back to California, we absolutely will visit. Thank you, thank you to our friends at Crepevine (Burlingame Ave) for the great hospitality and doing us a favor on a late evening amidst some long travel days. We are forever thankful.
We tried the Abruzzo pasta and it was just amazing. The sauce was smooth and creamy and the roasted almonds just made it perfect! We also got the cafe mocha and it's the perfect balance of coffee and chocolate! The service here is amazing as always. One thing I realized is if you want to avoid the rush here, better to go for dinner as the place is crazy for brunch and lunch.
Went for breakfast this morning. Had the Costa del Sol Benedict and the Tri berry Crepe. Both were excellent, size of the portions very good and prices reasonable. Nice outdoor seating available with heating if needed. Good selection of dishes including gluten free options. The only thing that could have been better was the counter service. A good morning or welcome would have been appreciated. I will stop by again for sure.
Susma was working the day my fiancé and I visited, and from the moment we walked in, we felt the undeniable warmth and hospitality. She greeted us with a warm smile, promptly seated us at a spotless table, and informed us about National Crepe Day, which we greatly appreciated. The food was incredible—truly the icing on the cake, or should I say, crepe. The combination of fantastic cuisine and outstanding service made it the perfect date for my fiancé and me.
Visiting friends and decided to go here for breakfast. Didn't regret a thing. Service was great; coffee was great; the crepes , of course, were delicious! I suggest sharing a plate between 2 people because the portion sizes are pretty large. Make this a must for any time of day dining.
AMAZING!!!!! There aren’t words to express how much I loved this place! Extensive menu, HUGE portions. Great value, I would have paid way more for this meal. You could tell everything from the vegetables to the meat and eggs were fresh. Farm to table I bet. The service was fast and I mean FAST!!! The staff was exceptionally considerate and attentive. This place is a MUST visit. I’m coming for breakfast tomorrow before we leave and every visit back to San Francisco and they surprised my best friend with with a birthday song and crepe!!! Top notch
yumarooooo! my favorite is the crepevine club and salmon pasta! of course allll the dessert crepes too! I love coming with people I know I want to have a long meal with (iykyk) no rush here!
My 1st time here. Friendly service from all the staff. Savory crepe, potatoes and salad were delightful. I'm anxious to go again
Everything in the Crepevine is super delicious great place to grab breakfast or lunch the atmosphere is great the waiters are great and the food is great and great portions as well. -Big Sur Sándwich grilled angus, roasted onions, mushrooms, chipotle with provolone and it comes with home style potatoes on a soft roll. -Carolina is a pulled pork sandwich with seasoned fries. -Chicken Shawerma is rolled up chicken rolls with seasoned fries and a Caesar Salad. -Chilaquiles comes with 2 eggs, avocado, cheese garnish and red sauce. -Burlingame crepe is banana, strawberries, Nutella, drizzled with chocolate sauce and ice cream.
Fast service for a great meal in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The Tuscany cost $16, and was a HUGE meal. The crepe itself was very unique and the fries were much better than I had anticipated. Cheese was fresh and the every piece of the meal complimented the other. Sitting on the patio didn’t have too much noise and the chilly wind made a great for a great location. I’ll definitely come back and try some of the other crepes!
Love it for a casual light dinner had the Florentine crepe with spinach and mushrooms and it was very good Not a fancy place but enjoyed it and the outdoor fireplace was a nice touch.
Great food, huge portions, reasonable price, fast service. Highly recommend if looking for a good breakfast. We got the Santa Fe crepe, it was balanced, salsa was delicious. And the ham and cheese omelette, it didn't have too much cheese like a lot of omelettes do. The marble rye bread was surprisingly good.
I’ve always loved this place. Very good food for very reasonable prices. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Hard to beat in this day and age. Mostly recently I had the Bari pasta (Fettuccine with fresh salmon, spinach and parmesan cream sauce) and it was delicious! Very savory and hearty meal. Couldn’t finish it; all the portions are very generous for the price.
We’ve been coming to this particular Crepevine Restaurant for quite a few years. We have never had a bad meal or a bad experience here. All the food is freshly prepared and delicious! Most of the dishes come in large portions, and many people end up taking food home with them. The way this restaurant is laid out, keeps wait times down to a minimum during the busy hours. No reservations, just show up, order and be seated. Food comes very quickly. The restaurant staff are extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. There are many items to choose from on their unique menu board, so you can easily pick something different each time you visit. Highly recommend the Crepevine for breakfast, lunch or dinner if you are on or near Burlingame Avenue.
Wife and I very rarely have free time to have a moment for just us. What we find ourselves doing is finding nice brunch places. This place is great, casual, friendly staff, and great food for such a good price. With the state of the economy, the fact we were able to enjoy ourselves so much for less than $50 is unheard of. We’ve definitely found our new spot right in the heart of such a nice little neighborhood.
This crepevine was super prettily decorated for the fall. There were plenty of indoor and outdoor seats, and there were heat lamps near the outdoor seats so it didn't feel cold. I got the philly crepe and it was so good with the melted cheese and onion and mushrooms and slices of beef. It was a great meal and made me happy.
We stood in front of a sign that read 'Please wait to be seated' for over 10 minutes. A waitress came over and handed us menus. A person behind the food counter in front of us said hi but didn't offer to help us until several people walked up to her and ordered. When I asked what the process was, she then said to place our order with her, receive a number to put on our table, and pick where we wanted to sit. The please wait to be seated sign was very confusing. After we ordered, we got our order pretty quickly, and the food was delicious. Plus, plenty of it. Huge menu with a lot of gluten-free options. Our crepes came with a side salad and a choice of potatoes. The garlic home fries are gluten-free and delicious. The French Fries are not gluten-free
Ordered the Luna savory crepe and apple hill sweet crepe! The savory crepe was delicious with sausage and guac, the fries were perfectly crispy, and the sour cream and salsa really tied the meal together. Was pretty crowded but the service was great and food came out super fast. Overall amazing brunch spot, would definitely come back
Crepevine is popular for a reason. First of all, even though we order at the counter, crepevine offers the best service!! The servers are so fast and attentive. We never once have to ask for a drink refill or extra napkins. They are constantly walking around and surveying your table to see if you need anything. Better service than any other restaurant in town! The food is delicious. We typically order the crepes, which are giant! But ordered the sandwich and salad this time. Both have large portions and were very good. I almost burnt my tongue on the fries because they were so hot and crispy! Must order the fries 🙌🏼 They have lovely outdoor seating and prices are great, especially for the amount of food they offer
Food is delicious! the servers are quick and friendly! The environment it’s cozy! My only complaint is the paying for parking! We’re from Houston TX visiting and noticing everywhere you go here you have to pay for parking! It’s ridiculous! Definitely would come back! Recommend to all food lovers out there.

Good crepes. For my taste, some of the options have a few too many ingredients — I personally prefer simpler combinations. That said, the quality is solid and the prices are very reasonable.
a very popular restaurant on the main street of Burlingame, it has a huge outdoors area and lavish decorations. The crepes are absolutely huge and come with fries and salad and quite a few of the options were appealing, sandwiches also seem popular here. The waitresses that work here are completely ditzy barely understand us and didn't even bring us the correct bill, stop hiring immigrants
A little behind on my posts, but came here on New Year’s Day for brunch with the Miss and one of the kiddies. I had the Cote D’Azur (under their benedictions) and boy oh boy was I pleasantly surprised. Salmon was exactly what they described it, smokey. Hollandaise was pretty good Throw everything together and it was an excellent dish. The greens, potatoes, salmon eggs all complimented each other. The Miss had a Sonoma sandwich, and one of the kiddies had the Palermo pasta (I forgot pictures 😩) Service was quick and helpful. Expect a long line however it moves pretty fast. A spot you can always count on to be a place to go to. Will visit again.
Crepevine in Burlingame is truly a sanctuary for those seeking exceptional food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Every visit feels like returning to the heart of a loving family. The staff greets guests with sincere warmth, often remembering faces and treating everyone as if they’re long-missed friends. It’s one of those rare places where the hospitality is as nourishing as the menu. Each time the family visits my mom, sisters, even pets the restaurant offers genuine kindness and attentive service. The staff is enthusiastic, inviting, and always eager to make guests feel right at home. Family, friends, and even dogs feel embraced here; Crepevine’s menu is a treasure trove of crêpes, sandwiches, salads both savory and sweet. The freshly pressed juices provide a bright, healthful complement to any meal. Every dish feels crafted with care; the ingredients are always fresh leaving diners satisfied without a trace of heaviness. Whether craving classics or exploring something new, one can trust that the meal will be both wholesome and absolutely delicious—truly chef’s kiss quality.
The verdict: Good food that arrives in a timely manner, but mediocre service. The savory crepes and omlettes outshine the small selection of sweet crepes, something that could perhaps be overlooked in any restaurant not named "Crepevine". Don't let the long line deter you, it goes by quickly, and even for our party of 5 and a full restaurant the food came out within 15 minutes. They have sizable portions, and can easily be shared between two people. You order and pay at the register, the tip portion is filled out here as well. It is not full service, there are people who run out food, help out, and bus, however no dedicated servers. The Mazatlan omlette is a solid choice, along with the San Francisco, and California savory crepes. The French toast also is very good, not soggy not dry but crispy and moist. For dessert we selected the midnight blues and the Santorini crepe. The bananas seemed a bit green in the midnight blue, and it was hard to detect the rum sauce. The standout flavor was the sour bananas, with tart and sweet blueberries, but it was otherwise bland. The Santorini also lacked any distinguishing harmony of flavor, overwhelmed by marscapone and not enough cinnamon. Both crepes perhaps would have benefited from a tablespoon of powered sugar, something the French toast had an advantage in.
Came here not too long go to visit the bay. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma with fries and it came out swiftly along with my coke. No complaints about the food whatsoever and the tall, young lady gave excellent service and checked up at my table. I think my only complaint is that I notice the silverware is kinda dirty. Overall great experience would come again
We got their soup of the day which was chicken noodle soup, chicken Alfredo pasta, savory crepe, and some pancakes. We normally go to their Irving location but we went to their Burlingame one this time. I felt the food tasted a bit different and portions weren’t as big. I’m not sure if maybe they changed how they cooked their dishes at both locations but I personally prefer their Irving location. Their dishes just seems more flavorful their.
The first glimmer of hope for the crepe hanger 😁 in the family since Mirasseau in Palo Alto shuttered some thirty years back. No, one cannot get a Super-Wando with garlic aeoli on the side, but there is more than plenty of rolled up richness to be enjoyed. As a bonus, there's an expanded bill of fare which includes a variety of well constructed and tasty sandwiches for the bechamel phobic. But wait - there's More! They will actually provide home-frys as an alternative to French Frys! The format is deli; order at the counter, get a number, and quite rapidly, the food materializes. Loads of pet-friendly outdoor seating.
Crepevine is still a favorite of ours — most of the signature dishes are very good and reliably consistent. The main downside is shrinkflation: smaller portions and higher prices. On the plus side, they’ve expanded the restaurant with more seating, which has really helped reduce the brunch crowd. Still a good spot, just wish the portions reflected the price.
We hadn’t been to Crepevine in forever, but while strolling down Burlingame Ave pretending to be fancy “just browsing menus,” this one called our name. Spoiler alert: it was a great choice! ORDERING: This is a “walk up, place your order, grab a number,” type of spot. They bring your food right to your table, and there are runners and bussers floating around to grab you anything you forgot (which, let’s be honest, happens). It’s a busy place — which means your food comes out quick, but sometimes a napkin or extra sauce might go MIA. Don’t be afraid to ask one of the staff, they’re willing to help. FOOD: The menu here is absolutely unhinged in the best way possible — breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. We’re talking omelettes, benedicts, pancakes, crepes (sweet and savory), pastas, sandwiches, salads, tacos, soups… if you can dream it, they probably serve it. And the home potatoes have a wonderful rosemary and herb flavor… SO good! They’ve also got a full kid’s menu — mini everything. Mini pancakes, mini burgers, mini happiness. Also including staples such as chicken tenders, grilled cheese, and Mac & cheese. This visit we split the Chicken Shawerma Wrap, packed with creamy garlic sauce and pickles, served with a Caesar salad and those glorious home potatoes (extra crispy, of course). Super tasty, and big enough for us two to split. We also tried the Soup Du Jour, which was black bean — hearty, topped with sour cream and salsa, and served with toasted baguette. Good, not life-changing, but it did the job. Bonus points for that extra side of garlic sauce (because always more garlic). DRINKS: Crepevine is secretly a mini coffeehouse too. They’ve got organic coffee, espresso, lattes, chai, fresh juices, sodas, iced tea, lemonade, even hot apple cider — basically a beverage buffet. For the 21+ brunch crowd, there are mimosas, Bloody Marys, and Screw Drivers. OVERALL: This place nails it for variety, vibes, and value. Perfect for groups, picky eaters, and people who still can’t decide what they want even after staring at the menu for ten minutes (…me). They’ve got indoor, open-air, and outdoor seating—including tables right on Burlingame Ave for peak people-watching. Friendly staff, delicious food, and good energy all around. Definitely recommend checking out Crepevine! IG: @bbnem.eats
We have not been in such a long time. I always thought of them as a breakfast place. So, we thought we’d try them for dinner. We sat outside. The service is quick, efficient, but polite. I had a Caesar salad with salmon. My husband had a spaghetti with meatballs in marinara sauce. The food was quite good. Can’t say it’s truly Italian but more hybrid. I was pleasantly surprised that my salad greens were not drowned in dressing. The fish was cooked perfectly and they did not scrimp on the portion. The spaghetti with meatballs met expectations too. We will be back!
Stopped by for lunch. Order at counter then take number to your table. Tip at that time or at table. I had the huavous rancheros. Eggs sunny side up were perfect, flavors were great. Only exception was the beans straight out of a can. My partner had the Greek omelet with side salad. It was delicious. Great fillings and nice biting feta. I would definitely eat here again. We sat on the outside seating.
Yesterday, we visited this place for a birthday party with around 12 people. Although we had made a reservation in advance, we still had to wait in line due to the crowded Saturday lunchtime rush. The place is quite noisy. However, the food was excellent, with a wide variety of options that satisfied everyone's preferences. The service was impressively fast. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend it!
We tried Crepevine for dinner in Burlingame because we liked the one in Mountain View already. Technically, they’re the same because they’re chain restaurants. Same menu, same atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food and drink came fast. To be honest, we just paid and were looking for a table. When we found one, the drink was ready and the waitress came to us (I was holding the number) and asked “you guys ordered lemonade?”. I said ‘yes’ and pointed to the available table. After that, the food came out in less than 5 minutes. Big portion food. Both my husband and I struggled to finish our dishes. We both thought we over ordered them. We ordered one Thai savory crepe, one Capri pasta, one Clam chowder soup and Lemonade. Good quality food though.
The good was very good. We ordered a sandwich and a pasta. When we got home the side salad was missing from the sandwich.

Good deli spot in DT Burlingame. I have the Sonoma sandwich an had some tea. Good service, fast but pricey. $22 for a sandwich plate, $8 beer.
Very diverse menu with something for everyone. Nice casual vibe. Attentive servers as well as reasonable prices.
Crepevine really knows how to rip you off when you choose to spend $5 to add tofu to your salad.\n\nI'm serious; I'm not being facetious or satirical or dryly ironic or too cute by half. Crepevine …

The California crepe was basically fajita toppings on a plate; they fall out of the crepe immediately because it's so overstuffed. Didn't care for the salad either. Fries were good though. The La Baron burger was overpowered by its huge patty. The quality of the food was fine, it just didn't work for me.
It's been a while since I've been here, but I used to get their Caesar salad all the time. I went here recently and got their Caesar salad, and for some reason, the dressing was really watery. I probably won't be ordering it again.
The place had a really nice holiday ambiance. However, when my partner asked for a plain crepe with lemon and butter topped with a little powdered sugar, she was served one with no lemon and granulated sugar. This was after her request was confirmed by the order taker... On the bright side, my crepe with strawberry and banana was yummy and perfect. The burger we ordered was large and flavorful, but the tomatoes that were served with it had seen better days. They were mushy and unedible which totally detracted from the meal overall. This place could've earned a much better rating, but it just wasn't in the cards today... At least the place was clean and warm.
food and service was good. Coming out of Covid I knew prices were going to go up, but really! sandwich $14.50, burger $16.50, ice tea $3.25. The kicker was they charged me $1.62 for using…
