What an amazing place to eat! Highly recommend! The host was extremely friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed which was exactly what we were looking for after a long day. Thank you for an amazing meal! Can’t wait to come back.
I love Indian cuisine & this just fills bill! Ordered samosa for appetizer & was served hot & delicious. My main dish was chicken biryani was generous, just right spicy & fabulous. Dessert was kheer, perfectly creamy & light for ending a delicious lunch. Will come back for more!
Absolutely love a delicious meal. If cost is your thing you’ll love the cheap bill here. Could use a revamp in the decor/dining experience. But my favorite thing to talk about and look for is food. We have had endless deliveries and dine in with our family and friends here and have never had a bad meal. I’m sure now after several years of dining here that we have had everything in the menu by now. Our favorites are the coconut soup, peshwari naan, chicken melai kebab and biryani. You won’t be disappointed here.
Hands down one of THE BEST restaurants around! Whether you dine in or take out, this restaurant is the only one around that is CONSISTENTLY incredible! I have tried so many different dishes from Indian Grill and they have all been so flavorful and delicious! This time around we opted for the shrimp tandoori, goat biryani, garlic naan, and rose lassi, with some adult brews! AMAZING! The service is incredible! They are truly the nicest most welcoming humans you will ever meet! So willing to accommodate you, and they just make you feel like family! I highly recommend going if you want a delicious and full belly, and to just feel welcomed!
First time ordering from Indian grill and the second time having Indian food. Indian grill was very clean, relaxing vibes, and friendly servers. I ordered chicken tikksa masala, chicken tikka saag, and garlic bread. All of the food was amazing, and I highly recommend the menu items listed above. I will be coming back to try more items on the menu.
Authentic Indian restaurant. We had food from Indian cuisine. The food was really authentic. Ordered gol gappa, grilled chicken tikka, goat curry and garlic nan. Everything was very tasty. Nice location lot of parking and movie theater showing Indian movies near by. Would love to visit again.
My boyfriend and I came here a week ago. We were the first ones there so we had the restaurant to ourselves. I’ve only had Indian food a few times in my life and this place is by far my favorite. I tried the cheese pakora for the first time ( I believe I got the name right) and I fell in love!! I regret not taking some home. The seasonings were everything. I also had the chicken curry and it was a double win. Portion was large so I got to take some home. Decor of the restaurant is beautiful, food is delicious and the price is reasonable. I will definitely make the drive again in the near future.
Love the food generally! We eat takeout every month or so, but the garlic naan on 2/13 was dry and hard and over-baked? Spent $8 for inedible bread. Would love a free replacement next visit.
My first visit to this Township 5 restaurant was an enjoyable one. I had for years frequented India House in Liverpool and its downtown predecessor, Taste of India. Unfortunately, Indian House recently closed their doors and we are now looking for another restaurant where we can enjoy our favorite Indian dishes. Although the food here is very good, two items fell short of my expectations, the poori bread and the pistachio kulfi ice cream. From the internet, it appears that the garlic naan is made on site and it receives positive reviews. Next time. As a nice touch, the restaurant provided a basket of papadum with three sauces. For an appetizer, my wife and I decided to split an order of aloo gobi masala. This, combined with our main courses of lamb tikka masala and lamb rogan josh comprised a very enjoyable meal, and we had leftovers to take home. The service was outstanding. We will return. UPDATE-1: On our second visit, I had the lamb tikka masala again, but this time I requested medium-hot masala sauce, and ordered it with garlic naan. An excellent meal. My wife tried something new. The special chicken cheese masala was outstanding. UPDATE-2: I ordered an appetizer of fried peppers. The menu warned that the dish was hot. What they really meant was that the dish was very, very, very hot. The peppers were enclosed by a delicious crunchy well-seasoned coating which initially covered the heat. However, by the time I finished one of the two peppers, I was experiencing a four-alarm fire. I immediately ordered a Kingfisher beer and had some of the naan bread we had ordered. Once the heat came under control, I added small bites of the coated peppers to my masala sauce as I ate my main dish. My wife ordered the chicken saag and shared some of it with me. We both loved it. UPDATE-3: Tried two new dishes, mango chicken and chicken tikka masala. Both were excellent, but I prefer the masala sauce which I've had previously with lamb.
Came to Indian Grill for lunch with a friend. We started with the special soup. This was a nice portion of an “upgraded tomato soup”. It was tasty enough but didn’t have much ingredients (vegetables and chicken). Naan came next with 3 dipping sauces. Very tasty. Flavors throughout our meal were fantastic! - why I love Indian cuisine. Next we had the chicken curry and chicken madras. Nice amount of bite size chunks of chicken, sauce and, white rice. We were immediately offered more rice if needed but we didn’t need it. Absolutely delicious. Server recommended the garlic naan which added a nice touch and flavor of garlic. Great service in a very nice clean, eclectic atmosphere. Only gave 4 stars overall due to a bit pricey for lunch ($24ea), but we had a filling, flavorful meal. Definitely recommend. Look things up ahead of time so you know what they are.
Had a very nice meal at the Indian Grill. They have a good size menu with typical favorites and enough variety to get you outside your comfort zone. Everything was very good, it was mostly empty on the Wednesday evening so everything was really lightning fast. We had the lamb biryani, chicken tikka masala, the veg bullets and cheese pakara. All enjoyable, all well flavored, nothing mind blowing but would absolutely go back to try different dishes. We also felt it was very reasonably priced so that was an added bonus. No complaints here. Enjoy!!
My wife and I tried this for this first time last night. The food was good but maybe a little more bland than we're used to. I got the chicken madras and she got the chana chaat. Both were good. The rice was a little dry (precooked?). The crispy bread stuff they put on the table as a welcome is really good. Sauces were okay too. My wife loved the onion chutney. The samosa's were average. A meat option for samosa's might be a welcome addition to the menu. The menu, btw, has a lot of options. The restaurant looked clean and tidy. One way I decide if a place is truly clean and they really do keep things clean behind the scenes is I look at the ceiling. If light fixtures, duct work, vents, curtain rods, etc are gross or caked with cobwebs or greasy dust, you can bet money that the kitchen and food storage is also not clean. The light fixtures and vents here were spotless. However, and this is why I deducted a star, the bathroom was filthy. The fixtures, door, and handle had some kind of white slime on them. It looked like a painter was trying to get away from a serial killer in there. The place was empty except for a table of 4 when we got there around 6:30PM on a Thursday. No staff at the front desk and we had to wait a few minutes for staff to come out from the back and see us. That was a little bit awkward but not a big deal. It was pretty chilly in there and my wife kept her coat on through the meal. Service was okay. The server was friendly enough. Food came out in a reasonable time frame and the server followed up with us numerous times. One note I hope they read is that, with real linen tablecloths and napkins (which is really nice btw), the expectation of the customer might be that staff is dressed more as servers. Our sever was dressed casually and looked like a customer. Not a huge deal but sprucing up, if even with just a cheap black apron, might be a super easy way to set it apart from mediocre places. Just a thought. Prices are reasonable.
On our way to Costco, we started looking for a Indian restaurant because we wanted to eat curry. And the location of this restaurant was perfect for us. I ordered chicken curry and cheese naan, and my husband ordered lamb curry and traditional naan. There was also a vegan menu. It's like tortilla chips being served at a Mexican restaurant, here Nanchips? was served first, and it was yummy. I don't eat lamb meat personally, so I didn't taste husband's lamb curry, but my chicken curry was very good. Speaking of cheese naan, I like more cheese-cheese naan, so I thought I want more cheese in it. But other than that, the restaurant was clean and the waiter was very nice. So we'll back there again. :)
soup was not authentic - its ready made mix biriyani was tasty panneer shahi - is just a mix of colors and milk cream (no taste) veg manchurain - is sour and uncooked sorry for this review.. but this helps you to re-consider your cooking styles..so that your business grows..
My partner placed an order online and paid online in advance, and our order was supposed to be ready at 7:38pm. We get to Indian Grill around 7:45 only to find out they’ve given our order to someone else and now have to wait another 15 minutes for our order. Asked for a refund, were given a can of coke and told “there’s nothing they can do.” Edit: we just got home, and we ordered 2 extra orders of garlic naan bread that we did not receive and we also did not receive sauces for the appetizers ordered. We will NOT be returning here.
