I go to this location daily and the consistent kind interaction every member of the staff gives me not only as a customer but as a person is awesome. Tonight I finally introduced myself and Christy was quick to offer her name back with a smile. It makes me look forward to returning everyday.
What a pleasant surprise! It was the first I've been in since the major remodel. How nice that you don't have to wait at the counter anymore for your order. It is now delivered to you by one of the Associates. Nice!
I was on a busy work appt with a youth & we ran into lunchtime. The staff misheard my order initially, because it was busy & loud & lots going on, but they fixed it right away! & they were extremely nice about it! Which I especially appreciated having a youth in the car coming from an appt. Thank you all!!
There was no water in the soda pop fountain the Sprite was just soda water
One of the farthest McDonald’s from me but I go back every time because of the great service and how the orders never come out messed up or wrong and it brings a nice vibe being there

This is as good a McDonald’s as the rest of the local locations. We’ve never had issue waiting too long and somehow those multiple drive thru speakers do seem to help, because whenever we come through, this DT is busy, and they still move things along pretty quickly. Our order is always correct, too. 👍🏻
I had the greatest burger from a McDonald's ever tonight. I usually like the Bacon Smokehouse burger and have never had it made so perfectly. It was hot and not too messy! I love the table service they give now too. The staff is pleasant.
I visit this location about once a week for breakfast and they are always very fast. Even when the drive-thru line is long, the wait passes very quickly and the staff has always been pleasant and professional. The food is consistently good and tidy.
The food took a couple extra minutes but the fries were very crispy and fresh, the staff was generous and kind. I love Mickey's!
I usually do not rate national chains. This location was clean and the crew members were nice and attentive. This is a great location for friendliness and professionalism that keeps us coming back!!

Has a consistent problem when ordering from a kiosk. Employees will close your order in their system before giving you any drinks you order, leaving you to ask for your drinks. Otherwise good and punctual service.
Four stars for health of ingredients. Would have been five for flavor and speed. Look; we all know that fast food is bad for you, but what if it wasn't? Imagine Omega 3s and fiber. Imagine vitamins and minerals, and replenishing drinks!!! Nope; but hey we can hope for a better tomorrow, can't we?
Can't go wrong with a Filet-O-Fish sandwich. Place was incredibly busy but all the workers were keeping up with the orders. Drive-Thru orders, Kiosk Orders, APP orders, and walk-in orders. I was impressed with their hustle!
Food is always good, just wish you could get the drink you order right. This is like the 3rd or 4th time we've gotten a diet coke by mistake. How can an automated system screw that up?

Some people do not know how to use the double lane drive thru, but other than that.... The food was good. They seemed a bit understaffed but were not rude. 4/19 update: Placed a rather large order. Lots of McNuggets. Got home.... No sauce! None! And only a few napkins.
Service was fast, wait was long. Well past the 8 minutes it takes to cook most items on the menu. New kiosks no faster than ordering in line. On line app is easy to use and full of deals.
Great service and great food. I wish they had more than one toy at a time. They also advertised for the stitch toys with signs but had none. I wish they would limit people/employees buying just the toys without the meal. My two kids were disappointed when they saw the signs for stitch toys and got Mario cart cars instead.

This was my second visit to the newly renovated McDonalds in Canandaigua. I used the new touchscreen to order and pay, which are largely self-explanatory for anyone familiar with McDonalds food and the use of touchscreens. There is also the option to order with a cashier at the register. The restaurant now has table service, in which your food is brought to you after you order and get your drink yourself. My order was accurate, but it did take longer than I had expected. Even so, I very much enjoyed the new layout and features.

Usually really busy and I have to wait about 7-10 minutes to get my food, other than that staff is curtious, friendly and polite 96%of the time.
Went for lunch on Saturday. Half the tables were open but all of them were dirty. We ended up wiping down our own table. Food was brought out to us. That was nice and she asked if we needed anything else. Food is the same. The decor was unimpressive. The chairs look like cafeteria seats. The dirty tables fit right in. I think for someone just passing through and never being there before would ever know this McDonald's was just renovated.
There seems to be issues with this location and the word plain. I ordered drive thru, plain quarter pounders with cheese and they came regular. A lady asked how they were supposed to be made. I said plain meat cheese bun. They made them without cheese. We use curbside now and I usually select none for the items I don't want. Today, I ordered a spicy chicken without sauce and pickles/ whatever else (see picture). It gets marked as plain on the wrapper and came with sauce...I didn't know the sauce is what made it spicy, however I had selected no sauce. Ordered for curbside pickup, sat there for 30 minutes total. Jon went inside and none would acknowledge him despite standing at the counter. Left without food.
I enjoy some of the food, mostly coffee drinks and fries. The rest is too high in saturated fat!!! and causes diarrhea. And also the food is cold by the time you pull out of the parking lot. Most of all, not sure but almost everyone is in a bad mood, management needs to uplift their associates and train them in great customer service. If your associates are happy then your customers will want to come back. McDonald's franchise is a household name, be careful your customers decide they really don't need you.

Sometimes good service and food, sometimes not so good. I drive Uber so I'm stopping at various locations, usually for a large Coke. McDonald's had absolutely the BEST COKE COLA E EVER!.
Their drive through attendants need to work on their customer service skills. It would be nice to hear a nice greeting instead of "what do you want" to me, that is extremely rude. When we asked to see the manager, she came to the window and said "ya, can I help you" we said nope you're the problem. They need to take lessons from the taco bell attendants

Quality has diminished greatly since late 2018. Depending on what shift you place your order, it will determine the quality of your food. Dinner shift, you may notice: - Undercooked 4:1 patties - Dry 10:1 patties - D’hyd onions coating 10:1 patties when specified without - Missing toppings, even with a clear printed label - Fries lacking salt Negatives behind us, there are some positives: - Friendly crew - Assertive and prompt managers - Attentive youth looking out for customer satisfaction As long as you have patience and don’t treat the crew like dirt, your order is usually right the second time.
Ever since the second part of the drive thur was put in the average waiting time for the drive thur is anywhere for 15 to 25 mins if not more. Friend went to wendys the same time we went here and they were finished eating by the time we got our food.
There was this one guy who did not bring my all my food and I asked him to make it and never made it. Also there was this one lady and she was so kind and remade my food when it was wrong.
Need to do better on p utting orders together and making sure fries are hot.

Place was dirty! GarbGe cans outside were overflowing. Plants were dieing from no water. Kid behind the counter handed me my soda cup, hands all over the lip, after he just walked back from blowing his nose!!! I said NO THANKS!!
Cashier was rude. After waiting for my food, the fries were limp, unsalted and cold. After asking fresh, hot fries, they came the same way. The cheeseburger deluxe was thrown together sloppily. Half of tge toppings were outside of the bun. Cheeseburger was hard and crunchy, not fresh. I ordered my lunch around 11:30 a.m No reason for the cold, undercooked fries or the over-cooked burger.
Been going here for years. Always been the absolute slowest mcdonalds ever. Doesn't matter the time of day. Doesn't matter how.long the line is. They are SLOW. 2 hamburgers, 2 fries, 2 sodas and we waited 26min. Thank goodness I'm not in a hurry!

Every time I go and order a sauce with my meal (which is the meal with 2 cheeseburgers and a Diet Coke and fries because it’s my perfect go to), I specifically order ranch because it’s my favorite and I NEVER RECEIVE MY SAUCE!! AND I am getting charged for it. This has happened too many times for this to be acceptable! I looked forward to having my delicious ranch with my meal and immediately get let down as soon as I look into the bag. I even ask making sure and I am told the ranch is in there! And guess what, it’s not 😻hopefully I will get my ranch next time🥰
Went through the drive through gm was on the speaker inpatient when I was trying to make my order straight disrespectful I feel bad for the employees if this is the way she treats the customers
Staff Was Friendly but don’t want to take your order they ignore you so your forced to use the machine. A Cheeseburger , Small Fry and all of our drinks were forgotten to be given to us. Biggest complaint was how dirty the inside of this McDonald’s was every table was filthy as well as the drink machine area.

Rainy day created wet floors leading to the floors like a skating rink. Place was dirty and unkept. Food was not the McDonald's standard remembered. Many other choices for the money. Tried to reply. Your site wanted a case number after I responded. Gave up.
Came to McDonalds and ordered Deluxe McCrispy, 4 piece chicken nugget with Ranch and a Fish Fillet. The McCrispy bun was hard and completely stale, the lettuce was brown and wilted and the tomato’s were bad. There were no napkins and no Ranch in the bag. The only edible part of the meal was the fillet and the fries. It was so disappointing. Service was fine. I went through the drive through so no idea about atmosphere.
Yes, mistakes happen.... However, when I bite in to a burger from a fast food place, it shouldn't be THIS under cooked. The locker was that when I called, the managers response was "oh was this the quarter pounder with no onions".... Which tells me she knew there was a product going out that wasn't up to par. I was so disgusted I didn't even go get my refund. I think they need to pay for more training anyway so maybe that'll help. I'm the mean time, is probably stay away from this place. It was suspect before I had this problem and this was the icing on the cake.
Speed and quality aren't the greatest. I'm updating my review due to my most recent experience. The store was freezing, the service was impeccably slow and an interaction between a manager and a customer flabbergasted me!!! They messed up his order and due to it his food got cold. He requested the rest of his missing food along with replacements due to it going cold waiting. The Manager told him and I quote!! " you'll need to throw that out. We can't bring it back into the kitchen due to covid and it's your problem." My jaw dropped! You should be ASHAMED with the way this store is being ran!!! Your staff is rude, talks about smoking pot and purposely make people wait longer that they don't like! I have witnessed it! I used to run a kitchen at a McDonald's! Your staff should be fired!! And you need not be owning a Franchise!!
Old morning staff should be fired. Disrespectful and forgetful. Over a dozen times my order has been messed up. There minimum wage should get dropped.
An order for 4 people. First they mistook our order to start with so we corrected a few times. Then we get to the window and they gave us all of our drinks with no drink tray so we had to hold them. Then as we got down the road we realized what we ordered was only half right on the receipt and then realized they didn't give us some of the sandwiches we ordered. This is what happens when they have a bunch of people packing bags and no one checking them before they go out.We didn't go back for them cause the line was all the way around the building like always for the drive through. We didn't want to sit there checking the order in the drive through out of common courtesy of the people that have been in line for over 15 minutes because it was wrapped around the building. Never going back. 10/10/2020
Nine times out of 10 there are no salt on the fries, I've been in there several times over the last 6 months and heard other people complain about this but the problem doesn't ever seem to get solved. Every other time I'm in there sometimes more than that my meals are cold or the condiments on the burgers are missing. I ordered a bacon Quarter Pounder the other day and I got three tiny little bits of bacon on it. This place has gone downhill in the last 5 to 7 years I don't know if it's because of new management or what the problem is. This used to be one of the best McDonald's in the area now it has become the absolute worst McDonald's to go to you can almost count on the fact that your order will be messed up or cold. I did a mobile order today and it took me over 20 minutes to get my order and when I did get it it was cold. I'm absolutely disgusted by the lack of care an attention put into their jobs. They want a living wage but they can't even make a burger properly
Every time we order from this McDonald’s something is messed up. Tonight I ordered two kids meals one cheeseburger and one chicken nuggets. They were both chicken nuggets and they had no toys either or sauces. Worst experience at a McDonald’s by far. Hopefully people that continue going here take heed and check their orders because the employees obviously don’t care.
Can't get an order right, unwilling to fix their mistakes reasonably. When I drive out in bad winter weather, drive through their drive through, and they can't get the simplest order correct, I expect a refund. Apparently, they can't do their job right, and don't care to fix it, either. Don't leave the drive through without making certain that your order is complete.
Not sure why some McDonald's are still charging a dollar for large iced tea as they have for the last year or so and others is charging $1.60 sounds like a $0.60 rip off to me or a smarter franchisee. Now another question is why is it that when you ask for lemons on the side and equal packets are sweetener packets on the side it's so hard to get that through their heads and they always throw it in the drink I'd rather my hand squeeze it and I put the sugar in our substitute in why is it so hard to get things the way you ask for them The people of the registers do not communicate with the people who put the orders together properly they'll say special requests but won't tell anyone or no one will ask I give up just share stupidity
Went in for one reason, and even after it being advertised all over they didn't have what I was after, then they discontinued two other items I would have substituted. I really haven't had ANY good experiences at a McDonald's in some years. Even their unsweetened iced tea tastes disgusting anymore. I love iced tea and am not that particular as long as it is iced tea. Theirs doesn't even come close. Tasted like coffee which means they now share the tea making with the coffee making and you cannot mix those.

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon around 3:30. The dining area had no clean tables, the drink station area was trashed and did not look like it has been cleaned since they opened this morning. From the dining room you can see through a door into the kitchen and it was also trashed. Ended up walking right back out. I’ll never stop here again. I feel bad for the folks in drive thru, having no idea their food is being made in a messy kitchen and a all together messy restaurant.
The one guy was rude I'm allergic to onions and they put onions on my food so I took it back in and explained I was allergic to onions and he was like maybe she should go some where else and talking a lot of disrespectful crap will never go back ever
I would like to know why, I can not get what I order. Twice now with different people on the windows I have had to ask for the rest of my order after they have said thank you and closed the window. Then you have to get their attention. Today I had to drive home and then when I opened up my sandwich, which was in the correct wrapper with the correct sticker was a biscuit instead of a Mcmuffin. I don't know if the preparer is doing it on purpose. Or what. Cause I have seen similar complaints. In a round about way its theft. If I'm receiving something of a lesser value.
About 3 weeks ago I ordered a triple cheeseburger with no onions. When I got it it had the receipt with "no onions" on it, but it had a ton of onions. Right around that same time frame I ordered a double cheeseburger with no onions. It had onions, more ketchup on the outside of the wrapper than on the burger, and the burger was half off the bun, and the cheese was half off on the opposite side of the bun. I was not at the restaurant and ended up throwing the burger out because there was no way of getting the diced onions out of that mess. I also got soda water with no flavor. A few days ago I ordered a double quarter pounder. I thought these were supposed to come out fresh. It was cold and dried out. Burnt to a crisp. The burger was black and tasted like charcoal. Tonight I ordered a triple cheeseburger, no onions. After waiting at the window for just under 10 minutes for my order (it wasn't busy) we took the order home. The burger had a receipt on it that said "big Mac no onions". It was my triple cheeseburger but burned to a crisp and had tons of onions. Had to scrape all the cheese off to remove the onions. I went to flush the dried out patty down with the root beer I ordered to find it was diet coke. These are only a few of my most recent bad experiences at this McDonald's. I know...why do I go back. I just figure maybe next time I'll get good food. Lesson learned.
Curbside pick up is painfully slow. If they aren’t going to have someone bringing orders out consistently they shouldn’t have it available. Especially during peak times. Waiting on my order going on 15 minutes with two screaming children in the back.
The girl at the window was so rude, she was on her phone the whole time. I was waiting- I didn't want to just drive away and pull on the next window without them confirming if it is in fact my order since its mobile order. I used to work there so I know how it works unless it changed. She opened the window and go "WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?? MOVE!!", didn't even say Hi or anything. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE..
The place is disgusting. The bathrooms were gross, the floors look like they haven't been swept or vacuumed in days. The drink counter was sticky and not wiped up, coffee all over the floor. Understand it is a busy McDonald's but you can't tell me that 1 person can't go wipe things down or clean the bathrooms quickly when there is a lull in business.
Ordered kids meal, at the pay window, was never asked or given my receipt, and pickup window was rude. I asked them to please give me the same type toys for my kids meal. My kids are Irish twins and they like to have the same toys. The person was so rude and said that no this is all they got, and seemed to be very agitated that I even asked this question. I have worked in the fast food industry, I know they are trying to keep their window numbers high but this is not customer service. I did not want to hold up the line so I didn't press the issue but as I drove off noticed we were missing the juices. I couldn't go in the restaurant, with toddlers and the drive thru was too long to wait. It's not the first time they messed up my order, I feel like around rush time they don't give the receipts out for a reason. Next time I was there, told them what happened with my last order and their response was " it wasn't me, probably the shift where all the school kids were working" and that was it. Such a shame, I won't be going to this location anymore.
Every single time they forget something in my order. I almost refused to go back to this place if it wasn’t the only McDonald’s in the area.
Supposedly open 24-hr, but three times now I've shown up at 1:00AM - 2:00AM and, despite there being workers in the store every time, nobody would take our order. They just stood around and glanced at us as we drove up and drove away. If you're too understaffed or lazy to operate 24-hr, then change your hours or motivate your workers better.
Worst McDonald's experience. The Person taking our order was very confused about how to do his job. We ended up getting the wrong drinks and our daughters happy meal came in a small paper bag without fries or a toy. They really need to work on Training their people.
Over 10 minutes to receive my mobile order and the food wasn't even fresh food. That was at 730. Well before night shift should be reducing the amount of food stored and instead staff needs to be prepared to serve customers still not deep cleaning the store. Location is 24/7 so plenty of time to clean later in the night. This happens when they are busy as well. Causing delays over 5 minutes to get mobile order food. Constantly making mistakes as well.

Dirtiest McDonald I’ve ever been in. Soda everywhere food everywhere trash all over ground is wet , no wet floor signs , bathrooms were unsanitary, Tables not clean , the McDonald’s works outside smoking marijuana in front of children and other customers mind you I went at (9:15 pm) July 5th 2025
What a disappointment this location has become. I walked in to dine in with my children. No line and went straight to the counter and ordered $52 worth of food. 12 minutes later, still no food, while watching car after car go through the drive through and get their orders with no wait. I spoke to the manager to ask when my order will be ready; her reply was "when it is ready". I then responded and said, well, with that attitude, you can cancel my order and I will take my business elsewhere, perhaps even the drive through that serves faster. She then said "we'll get your order next". I waited 20 minutes for my food! Surprisingly enough, the order was correct and warm. What has happened? Do we get measured on drive through performance and neglect the in-store customers? And the attitude of the manager on shift! Come on, leaders... what are we doing? It was 11:00 in the morning and not busy!
When first arriving and waiting for our order I had to listen to the cashier talk to coworkers and customers about hating her job so much she wanted to kill herself. Then after waiting and inquiring about how long of a wait we had we were told "screens full sweetie", we then asked for a refund. Asked again. The staff we all over the place, the cashier had customers waiting on apple pies and coffees, the young lady next to me had been waiting 15 minutes for a coffee while the cashier was stuck running orders to cars. We still were waiting for our refund and had asked three separate people. I then yelled into the back can a manager please help us we would like a refund we had no more time to wait, that's why we ordered ahead online. The manager then yells back calm down your food is right here tossing our bag on the counter, without any of our drinks. She proceed to tell us she didn't have time to deal with us. While yelling at me told me that I was not to yell at her. I wasn't yelling I had a raised stern voice. The lack a respect discipline and leadship was appalling. She then walked away and said she refused to help us, we're 20 minutes into this process now. After threatening to call the police, my husband was given his money back. I'm a fast food manager myself I know lunch is busy those employees and the customers were only suffering because of the incapability at their leadership. Weve also been extremely nice about the fact that there has been mistakes in every order from this location for months, we actually were traveling out of our way to go to the farmington location. It is in no way the customers fault that management can not handle the flow of a lunch rush. Do better.
I have gone to this McDonald's 3 different times in the last 2 months. All 3 times they have messed up my order. 2 of the times I went in to complain and was told one time they didn't know how to fix the overcharge problem. The second time I was charged individually for each item in a meal deal. I know it is only like a dollar difference but still. Now this last time I order 2 sausage biscuit with egg meals... we get home and 1 hashbrown is in the bag and two sausage biscuits no egg.... they have to be the worst mcdonald's I have been to
The Service was not the Greatest. The person who took my order was really lousy. Didn't listen to what I was ordering. Didn't bother to ask if I was eating in or doing take out. WILL NEVER STOP AT THIS PARTICULAR McDonald's again.
I went there on 8/15/25 Around 5 PM And I believe I might’ve gotten food poisoning from this dump. I believe the health department should inspect all these Fast food restaurants in Canandaigua. Just look at the BK down the street. Thankfully, I didn’t have to go to the emergency room. But it’s Tom Wahls or Charlie Riedel's only from now on.
Had Two Bugs In my Coke. Could tell the employee through the drive thru just had the drinks open and didnt have tops on them after being poured. Not sure if it was laziness or the fact that he was not trained. Either way this mcdonalds has under delivered time and time again after the renovations. Makes me think management changed because it STINKs.
Slow service with a cashier who seemed confused and didn’t understand the menu. Not very friendly either. Then I waited ten minutes at least for my food which was put in a to go bag. I didn’t order it to go. Floor was filthy with food Al over it. My family and I were not impressed. Also had to listen to a lot of yelling in the kitchen area. Not a good experience. Food was ok. Won’t be back here
Literally came in at 11:15 for just 6 chicken nuggets and a large drink. Ordered off the kiosk trying to be quick before needing to get to work at 12. At the time of review I ended ended up waiting for 15 minutes. For JUST 6 Nuggets. Once I received the 6 nuggets they were cold. Ended up throwing them out and just not eating.they also ended up changing my order to takeout and didn’t give me my drink.
Ordered a coffee on the kiosk. No receipt printed. They got rid of my number and never served the order. Waited and asked about my number disappearing. Server looked right at me and kept serving. Asked 3 more times and he after 20 minutes got a coffee after incredibly neglectful service. My friend walked out without her order because same thing happened with the kiosk and they wouldn't give her good or even acknowledge her. Horrible customer service... horrible system... manager wasn't helpful .... don't order on kiosk
the whole floor inside is sticky and really dirty, it smells like dirt, old grease, and sweat.
We went to get a milk shake and a hot fudge Sunday and their ice creme machine is down!! It is always down at 10pm!!
Wow. Very dirty. We put in an order at the kiosk. Waited 20 minutes and had to show someone our receipt to get the order (just 2 items). Needs a good cleaning & some organization!
I stopped eating fast food for a while now but when I come in here for a door dash multiple times a week and there is no line and 5 employees upfront and they all look at you and don't say nothing no hi or are you being helped or can I help you every single person looks at you and continues doing nothing while 1 person gets the food ready this is by far the worst McDonald's I've been to and have gone to.. and food takes FOREVER!!! get my kids McDonald's ( happy meals) and we are sitting there for 15-20 min after waiting God knows how long just to order that y'all need to step up and be better don't like your job and are miserable find a different job
Can't get a simple cheeseburger correct. Check your food! This happens too often.
Ordered food for my children from this location and it arrived with a blue restaurant grade bandaid stuck inside the happy meal for my 4 year old daughter…. I have been in the industry for 15+ years and Those band aids are designed to be super visible to prevent this from happening. Not to mention if you have a cut and bandaid you should still have gloves on for food safety purposes. Clearly no kind of quality checks happening for food safety and it’s honestly disgusting this happened especially for a meal meant for a child. Luckily I check my kids food and found this before she did.

Missing part of my order Food was definitely undercooked.. impatient employee.
I was in this location today and ordered a milkshake. Over 15 minutes later I had to beg for a refund and left with no milkshake. Only thing I got was an attitude when I asked for a the person to take my order when the screen didn't work. I went down the street to Wendy's!!
People are nice, but they can never make my drink correctly and I pay extra for the additives. I've never had the drink made correctly on the first visit. Train your employees how to make the drinks properly when people pay extra money
Recently got food poisoning and everytime i go something is messed up, charge me for one item get a completely different one. soda usually has less syrup than it should.
