Great friendly staff, tasty food and delicious beer! Restaurant is clean and the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Service is exceptional so I stayed a while longer to enjoy another beer just chilling. As a momento to my exploring San Diego for good food and beer I asked some of the staff to sign my longboard skateboard. Thank you to the great staff at board and brew, Carlsbad CA. Patrick 😎🤙

Such a Rad sandwich shop! The food is fresh and delicious, the bread is sooo soft. I had the Turkey deluxe and did a bonus sweet and sour house sauce! 😋😋😋 we stayed nearby for a week and at here at least 3 times! Highly recomended!!!! All the stars! The staff was so kind and suggested some yummy sandwiches. The atmosphere is super laid back. So much yumm!!!!

Great place to eat out with friends especially in the evening. Really good chicken Caesar salad. Friendly staff and not too long of a wait. Food is fresh and high quality. Good portion sizes for the price point. Would definitely come back here again.

WOW! We were visiting and looking for a quick, somewhat healthy, and inexpensive place to eat that wasn’t a regular chain. This place was perfect!! I really wish they had one in Utah. We even took our leftover sauce home and used it on other sandwiches we made—so good! I wish I knew how to make it. I will crave these sandwiches until we return, who knows when.

I love Board & Brew. Their sandwiches are amazing. They have some great ones listed for you to choose from and make sure you try their orange sauce that they will give you on the side it is to die for. The shop in Carlsbad has limited parking but we have always found a spot as it is all 30 minute spots. They have a decent selection of beers to choose from and a nice outdoor seating area

Very reasonable sandwich prices. The Turkey club is our favorite. The plaza has a small parking lot and small patio for outdoor seating.

Very busy but got our sandwiches pretty fast. Not much seating but the beach is across the street. The Turkado is a big sandwich and very good. My only complaint is that I order a sandwich with turkey and lettuce only and got a sandwich with just turkey and mayonnaise, so maybe stick to what’s on the menu.

So, back in the day Board and Brew was 🤌🤙 so I placed my order based on the memory of how good Board and Brew "was." First, prices are pricey for a sandwich but pretty standard for the food scene in southern cal right now. It will cost you...and hey I get it. Minimum wage for food staff is up there. 2 sandwiches out the door about $30. I ordered delivery because my son was asleep on me for about 2 hrs...and if you're a mom, you know, you're not waking the boy up. Anywho, second, turkey club 👍 very good. Can't mess that up. But, still, respect because it was yummy. However, the Baja beef sandwich, the meat was charred, dry, and baaaarely any meat on the sandwich. I can look passed the charred flavor of the bread and meat. But, this sandwich was SO dry I probably would have benefited from at least 3 sauces for just this one sandwich. Barely any meat or the other toppings and mostly bread. So, if I'm ordering 2 full on sandwiches...paying tax tip delivery fee etc. How on earth is Board and Brew only giving out (1) small side container of Board and Brew sauce? Sorry, I don't mean to be rude but, it's stingy, it's disappointing, and it's pigeonholing customers into buying a $6 bottle of their sauce which is maybe 10 or 12fl oz? It wouldn't be that big of a deal but legit we know that's part of the reason we are ordering Board and brew; They've got good sauce. Customers paying full price for their meal and 1 sauce between 2 sandwiches. I think there's gotta be a revamp and a courtesy for paying customers who truly do love Board and Brew. No one should have to pay extra for sauces they already hope/expect (or need in this dry case) to be able to put on their sandwich from said establishment. I've resorted to using chick-fil-a sauce on my sandwich which is cool, but Board and Brew sauce is better... I looove Board and Brew but hopefully there can be a reconsideration about sauce levels. It would be a really nice touch 🙏💯

The food here was REALLY GOOD! My 3 star rating ⭐⭐⭐ is because there were more flies inside the restaurant than outside! Back by the bathrooms there were at least 50 flies if not more sitting all over the walls. My other reason is because there is not enough indoor seating and outside had one broken umbrella 🌂☂️⛱. Most people do not want to sit outside and bake in the sun while eating without an umbrella for shade. #LOCALGUIDES

This was only our second time eating here. The first time we went, the food was actually really good which is why this was so disappointing!! I ordered the Baja Beef online so my husband could pick it up and we could all eat together at the beach. Unfortunately, both of the Baja Beef sandwiches we ordered were extremely burnt, like the one pictured. The meat was overcooked to the point that it was dry and honestly hard to enjoy. On top of that, our kids said their ham sandwich tasted “weird,” so they didn’t eat it either. It ended up pretty much ruining our beach picnic, which was a bummer! This location is also always very packed and parking is difficult, so when the food quality isn’t consistent, it makes the whole experience frustrating. Maybe it was just an off day, but consistency really matters!!

Not worth the hype. Everything is Mid, the atmosphere and beach vibes at each location are better than the sandwiches. I got the Italian this time since the last chicken club I got was quite dry and average to say the least. It was alright. If you’re a foodie I wouldn’t suggest it.

Food is always delicious, but the customer service from the employees here is terrible. There’s no acknowledgment when you walk into this establishment. I spent $35 on lunch and they want to charge $.50 for ranch, which is absolutely ridiculous I’m born and raised in Carlsbad. I’ve never been charged for extra sauces here at this location. With how expensive the sandwiches are after making it a combo they want to gouge people in charge of extra for sauces. Today The tables were disgusting dirty food was everywhere, especially on the patio and there’s employees inside on their phones and just talking.
