Been coming since I was a kid. Nothing compared to Surf brothers. Very nostalgic comfort food.

Some of the best teriyaki chicken I’ve had in a long, long time. Nicely cooked, fluffy white rice. Perfectly done chicken. Lightly dressed coleslaw. Perfect portion for lunch. Great job! Just remember, what used to be a $10.00 lunch is now $14.95.

I arrived 1 min before close. They still took care of us and the food was fast and delicious.

I visited the Carlsbad location, and placed my lunch order online. I love how simple and clean their food is, especially for a quick grab and go. I always order a large salad which stays good for that night’s dinner and lunch the next day.

Best food i’ve ever had!

Food is delicious. The teriyaki sauce is sweet without being too sweet. Rice is perfectly sticky. The steak is 👌. The people working are the real gem. They are so nice and friendly. Patient with people who haven’t been in before. Would definitely come here anytime! The Lite Bites are perfect portion for one.

Went in to Surf Bros Teriyaki for the first time today and they did not disappoint! The food was phenomenal, tasted great and very fresh. Simple yet effective and tasty. The staff was friendly, prompt and provided great service. I would highly recommend Surf Bros and their food, especially being a former athlete and training as hard as I do. I need the proper fuel and nutrition and they provide it. I definitely will be going back!

Food was amazing! Sometimes you go for plates and it’s the fatty cheap meat. This chicken & steak was amazing! The sauce was perfect also. Customer service was top notch!! Will be telling all my friends & I’ll be back.

Always a consistant high quality choice for lunch or dinner! Fast friendly service. Tasty protein choices with rice and healthy slaw salad. Mobile take away orders are always ready and waiting for fast pickup.

This place is quick and good . Staff is friendly and love that the older gentlemen is always there with a sweet smile . Overall food is really good

The products used in this restaurant are very high quality. It is interesting that they only offer about three products, but that actually works well because they manage them very carefully. I think the price is competitive, and the sauce they provide is very sweet and tasty.

It is a fantastic place to stop for a quick bite to eat. Great quality food that's ready super fast. The rice and chicken were cooked PERFECTLY. Sauce provided on the side, and it was easy to transport in the provided containers. The staff was super friendly and accommodating to modifying the orders as needed. The portion sizes were great. You certainly won't leave hungry. The menu is very simple and easy to choose from. Extra sides are super affordable as well. Dinning area is fairly large considering the size of the restaurant. Parking was easy to find.

In my opinion it’s always the places that keep the menu simple that do it best! Decided to randomly try this place for the first time and I’m thankful I did! Now I have a good teriyaki place close to me with friendly staff that go out of their way to help. I thought the food was delicious and it shows by the constant flow of customers coming in. The food portion was perfect the chicken was cooked perfectly and that was some of the best tasting chili and teriyaki sauce. If you haven’t already try this place out

Picked up some great tasting sliders for lunch. They were hot and ready on time and tasted great. Wish there was a little more filling inside the sliders, but both the chicken and steak were tender and enjoyable.

Super basic fast food. The chicken looks like the stuff you buy frozen in a bag, it's slapped on rice with a small cup of teriyaki and boom $14. With a drink it was 17.50 for basic chicken and rice. Not bad but did not what I expected. I will not return.

Not fresh at all. Wasn’t off the grill. Cold slaw tastes off. Chicken tastes and looks like it’s been sitting for hours…

This 2 star review is due to the lack of veggie protein options on the menu. Food is always amazing and fresh, just would be nice to have tofu on regular menu not just catering

Calling this place Hawaiian cuisine is a joke, no pork, no macaroni salad, and no spam. It’s literally rice, coleslaw, I’d prefer straight cabbage, and your choice of steak, chicken or both. My food was ready before I had even sat down, meaning my steak was dry and sitting in a pan. The seats would be found lacking in width for a full bodied person. Don’t waste your money here if you want Hawaiian food. The service was pleasant I must add.
