This was amazing. My brother comes here regularly and I am in town visiting. The Calamari was amazing, perfectly cooked, delivered fast, and the best I have ever had. We ordered the gnocchi, the same, the best I have ever had. Pappardelle con Funghi e Capesante was fabulous, scallops cooked perfectly. Cappellacci di Manzo was so tender, fresh, and delicious! Penne alla Vodka con Porcini was amazing and delicious. Thank you for a fabulous meal. We will be enjoying the leftovers all weekend!!

Nikita was an amazing server. Her knowledge of the menu was very helpful. The food was decadent and by far some of the best we’ve ever had. We had the prime filet and prime ribeye was so tender the pasta and vegetables were outstanding. The tiramisu was delicious!

Came here for the 1st time and everything was AMAZING!!!! All the way down to the location. Go down park on the Beach pay the $10 bucks & Make a day of it.Surf & Turf with salad instead of Carbs. Chilean Sea Bass cooked to PERFECTION:) Highly recommended that dish and I'm not a fish lover.Had a tent across the street 4 min walk and had a little night cap to bring in the sunset....Ty Vigilucci Seafood & Steakhouse for a Wonderful meal & experience for our 1st time in Carlsbad

While visiting family in the area, they were excited to take us to Vigilucci’s — and it did not disappoint! The service was impeccable, and the food was absolutely delicious. While we had hoped to sit outside and enjoy the sunset, we were lucky to grab a table indoors without a reservation. They’re currently expanding their outdoor seating, which will be a great addition. Food and drinks are on the pricier side, but worth every penny. The spaghetti with meatballs was mouthwatering, and the mushroom risotto was equally impressive. If we lived nearby, this would definitely be one of our go-to spots!

Best Italian restaurant in the area hands down. Authentic, delicious food perfectly prepared and presented every time. We ordered several appetizers and all shared several entres and desserts, and everything was stunningly good (Hint get the gnocchi as an appetizer). The service was fantastic, exactly what you would want from a nicer restaurant. We were lucky enough to even have a server from Italy and she was very patient with my novice Italian language skills. The food and drinks can be a bit pricey for some, but it is absolutely worth every penny. You pay for quality and ambiance and that is exactly what you get from Vigilucci's. Can't wait to go back!

We enjoyed happy hour at this great restaurant by the Ocean. Staff was attentive, drinks were amazing and the food very tasty. Beautiful and full of flavor. I highly recommend.

This restaurant is great! Atmosphere is relaxing and the staff is really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, some italian classics and some twists, steak are really tasty (Tomahawk) and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. Have in mind, they only have valet parking. Reservation 100% recommended.

Wonderful meal! I had the fried calamari and the caprese salad with added prosciutto. I also had a glass of wine. Service was excellent. Food super fresh and authentic.

Nice view, pleasant upscale setting, no self parking, impressive, interesting dishes, very well made, unfortunately disappointing non-Italian, stale, just re toasted bread, paired with cheap olive oil.

Everything is excellent except for the parking and the price. It is expensive but the quality is awesome. And there is valet parking but finding street parking can be challenging.

Beautiful views. The perfect place to have dinner during sunset. They offer valet parking but fills up quick, try nearby streets. Menu has many seafood, pasta and steak options. Portions are large but some of the food was under seasoned. Its worth noting the staff are amazing and what make this place shine.

Stopped in for Happy Hour at the bar. They have a few solid items for food and drinks for Happy Hour. We also perused the menu, it's a little pricey but not more than what you would expect for location and views. They do offer valet parking for $10 but you can find free parking on the nearby streets if you don't mind walking a block or two. The interior is lovely with most tables having ocean views. Extensive wine and cocktail list. Service at the bar was decent—nothing exceptional, but perfectly fine

Vigilucci Steakhouse was such a great experience! Service was attentive and friendly, and the ocean view made for the perfect setting. We started with two appetizers—the Caesar salad, which was not your typical style but more of a “Caesar boat” (very fresh and fun presentation), and the Caprese salad, which was light and flavorful. For mains, both my boyfriend and I ordered steaks. I had the 10oz filet over mashed potatoes with veggies, and he ordered the same. The filets were cooked perfectly, tender, and cut like butter. Absolutely delicious and one of the best we’ve had in a long time. We couldn’t resist dessert and got the chocolate lava cake. It came out hot, with a perfectly cold scoop of ice cream—an amazing combination. To top it off, I had espresso (five double shots total!) and each one was smooth, bold, and well-prepared. Between the food, the atmosphere, and the view, this is a spot we’ll definitely be coming back to!

My husband and I enjoyed a nice dinner here, sitting outside during sunset. Service was very good and prompt. We both enjoyed seafood dishes and an appetizer along with some wine. My husband had the Chilean Sea bass which was cooked perfectly, however the lentils that were included on the plate with it were too overpowering for the dish. I had a variety of seafood which was pretty good. Overall, we both liked our food but agreed that it wasn’t $200 worth.

"Wow, just wow. We went to Vigilucci's while we were visiting family, and it was an amazing dining experience. From the moment we walked, the ambience was elevated. The food? Forget about it. I had the risotto, which is gluten free, and it was clear it was homemade – like, seriously delicious. My son went for a steak, and it came out very undercooked so we unfortunately had to send it back. My husband had the sea scallops and raved about it all night. The view? Wow again. We timed it perfectly for sunset, and watching the sun dip into the ocean while we ate was just magical. It wasn't stuffy or anything, even though it's clearly a fancy place. It just felt…comfortable and celebratory. You can tell they really care about the little things, like how the table was set and how attentive our server was. I also heard they're adding a new patio next year with even better ocean views, as if it could get any better. If you're looking for a place to make a special memory, or just want an amazing meal with a killer view, you HAVE to try Vigilucci's!

Came here for our honeymoon looking to get a special experience and honestly the experience was POOR. Our waiter didn’t really care at all to give us actual good service or personal connection. She just wanted to move on her way Food honestly was super good but overall service was trash. If you’re going to spend this amount of money id recommend looking for other options.

Seafood yes. Steak no. Great enviroment. Excellent customer service. First off, you can tell they take pride in their seafood. Its always very fresh and well balanced. ***Perfect for those nervous to try seafood*** its everything you want seafood to be. Price compaired to the portion size and quality is appropriate. The steak was lacking. Over cooked and under seasoned. Asked for medium rare and got medium well. For a $88 choice grade steak, I was very disappointed. I understand this could have been a 1 off situation. But for a $100 meal, the expectation is high. No room for any errors when spending that much.
