Service it varies who you get. This last time we came service was mediocre our waiter looked miserable since the start. He just shouldn't had been there. Food was like whatevers ,this time around it let me down the portion the presentation and food was blah...now Other times we've gotten other waiters and they greet you and treat you great and the food and drinnks are good. Our usual Waiters they have that friendliness that makes you want come back again and thats why we do come back, but when you get waiters with the attitude that dont want to be working and not smiling then that what keeps you away.. we probably wont come back in awhile. And we do spend our good amount of money here so we expect good service all the time.

A short walk from our Hotel, this little gem seated us quickly and even provided optional digital photography of your visit. The food (and margarita) was EXCELLENT as was the service...we came back the following evening and was recognized by our waiter who served us again. Amazing food and service. Came on a Friday evening, 6pm, surprise it wasn't as packed but parking lot is shared by other businesses so it might be a little difficult to find a good spot. Especially for oversized vehicles. Seafood is fresh and seasoned lightly, just the way it should be so you can add lemon, salt and hot sauce to your liking.

They always have good food and drinks, nice place to go with family or friends. Keep in mind that the servings are big so you will get full quick, even the appetizers; some of them are big and it’s to share.

Prices are great , lunch goes right into happy hour. Service was good. I went 3 x in one week. Good thing I walk and exercise to balance it out. Great atmosphere.

This restaurant is a five-star experience all the way. They offer great food great atmosphere and awesome service. The place is decorated to the hilt and definitely not boring. They bring you chips and salsa and water immediately. Food options are great I bet you can pick anything on the menu and it'll be good. Last time I was here I got the Molcajete it was great. This time we got Mr burrito! A live band came through and was playing around the tables and then moved up onto the stage. I also noticed that It was popping in the bar! First time visiting this place and I loved it!! First of all I loved the fact that they had a photographer!! We Had dinner with friends and received a free postcard with a picture of our group! You also have the option to buy more pictures if you want! Our server was Guadalupe she was great! The food was delicious and had all the authentic Mexican flavors! We tried the oysters, tacos combination plates, grilled Chicken and the molcajete! Everything was great! The busboys kept up with our table the dishes were picked up as soon as we emptied them! The atmosphere is what makes the place vibe! From the Chavo del ocho in a barral, and Jack Daniels statues to the light fixtures, vibrant colors and live music!! It's a must have experience!! El Pescador is located in a strip mall in Carson. Parking is free and easy. They have a large lot. The place itself is large so you can't miss it once you drive in. They have daily specials and all sorts of events there. It has a large bar and we could see people having the best time. I think soccer was on. Sometimes they have live music and Happy Hour. You can give them a call and see what is up. They have every drink you can imagine. It can get a tad loud in the bar, but once you enter the dinning area it is quiet and a real family restaurant. There is a lot of seating in comfortable booths and the service is excellent. The staff is super nice and very kid friendly, this looked and felt like a family restaurant and everyone seemed very happy. The food is great. It is brought pretty fast and boy is it hot, so beware. We just loved all that we had. Their guacamole is tasty and they have really great enchiladas. We also had nachos and they were fresh and packed with everything my grandson wanted. The servers checked on us often and made us feel at home. All of the menu items looked good. We did not try their special fish dishes. We need to do that. Enjoy.

I have been coming to this spot for a minute! Vanessa is the reason I always come back. I have had not so good service here before years ago, but since Vanessa came into the picture, service has always been 5 stars. I usually get the Pescador, Carnitas, or Carne asada lunch special. All are good but the Carne Asada is the best in my opinion. Chips are light and not greasy. Salsa has a lot of flavor but no very spicey. Drinks are good. Sometimes weak, sometimes good. I don't expect an over pour but come on guys. Another ounce won't kill your bottom line, especially when I order two intead of one!

I went here after many years, the service was good, the food was okay, I order the fajitas, steak.,shrimp.and chicken, it was ok to me chillies taste better. Yne drinks were good. For it being taco Tuesday it was alright, I might stop by again and see if I might change my review.

When there are four Mexican restaurants on three corners of an intersection, you better offer something different. El Pescador offers alcohol. But it's also the only real sit-down place. I ordered the chicken quesadilla, extra crispy. They offered either grilled or shredded chicken. I highly recommend the grilled - tasty and tender. I complemented my meal with a traditional margarita. Not too sweet, not too sour. Very nice. But they lose points on service. It was a very slow night and I saw my server three times in the hour or so I was there. Others came by to check on me, but there's no reason for poor service on a slow night. I'll probably return when I'm in the area again, but only if I have plenty of time.

Popular restaurant, we visited after a Galaxy game, and we were seated right away. Service was great. Food was not as good as last time. The cantarito was tasty, had a good variety of fruit mixed in.

A friend of mine recommended this place and we have been coming here for a few years now. This is the second time we have celebrated my Dad's birthday here. This time, we were lucky enough to arrive as the Mariachi began to perform. We were seated quickly even though the main room was almost full. We ordered guac and chips and ceviche to start. I also ordered the Campechana and it was pretty good. Their was a minor mistake with the drinks but overall good service. This place is a bit far from us but willing to make the drive. The Mariachi serenaded my Dad for his birthday and it was another good dinner. Parking can be busy at times. They have a nice bar for sports as well!

The food was great and the people are nice! My only issue with a 18% tip charge of 15 people reservation. They got my credit card over the phone and texted me the receipt of the deposit. I was never told there was an 18% tip included even after we included a tip. They won’t tell you, or you won’t notice unless you check your bank statement because they add it after you signed on the receipt. I tried looking it up online and couldn’t find anything that stated that. I was told by the manager that it should be common sense to expect a big tip already added automatically. This receipt is after a tip and what I agreed to pay for on the signature. They added an additional 18% after from what I agreed to pay. I appreciate that they reimburse me the additional tip, but I think people should be aware. They recommended me for next time to do it through email as it states the rules on there but I was never given the option.

Horchatas here taste great but the food in general is just "all right". We were seated in the bar area which turned out to be quite dark but we figured we could make it work. Our orders where taken promptly but they messed up one of our orders twice when bringing it out. Also their guacamole is good but they put it on top of my "salad" which was basically lettuce and a slice of tomato that my guacamole ended up mixing in. The service was okay, the food was also okay but I would probably not be back.

I have dined here often. Good food and great service, usually! Most recent visit March 15th,2023, was VERY BAD!! Took my best friend there for her birthday, with another friend who had never been to the restaurant. The server got the food and drink orders wrong. The beef was tough. I always get Chili Colorado, but it was horrible this time. Only thing that was good about this visit was the chips and salsa and pictures we took. Even the atmosphere was not the same.

I just felt some way. Unseen and messed with intentionally. So 1st, I asked the waitress where the restroom was. She just stood there looking at me as if I'd dissappear or like she was supposed to and just bluntly ignored me until someone else came. When I see that it's happy hour, but coming to an end I try to at least make the bare minimum of 2 drinks, so i requested 2 drinks and was denied. I was told there could only be 1 at a time. But yet my sister was across from me with a martini, a shot, and an oyster shot. I had to drink mines half way before I could get another. Now I just serviced at the grand prix, and when requested I gave open drink, 1 at a time upon request because that was the limt and as instructed upon training. This particular spot needs to address the issues and repair them. The one in Downey and in Chino, both are wayyyy better. (Area Vice President) its time to get off your comfortable chair and fix these issues, along with the rest of the issues. The waitress was not attentive like a normal waitress. Horrible horrible place. When we arrived they told us to put our name down on the list and we did. They even suggested for us get some drinks at the bar while we waited. I thought it was a good idea. One hour later, we are still waiting for our names to be called. The host had three lists with names and he sat some of his friends before the people on the list. Finally, at one hour and twenty minutes after our arrival, we are taken to our seats. Well, we were asked to move once we sat down because the manager had decided to give our seats to a party next to our table. We didn't even get an I'm sorry, we will give you a discount... nothing. To top it off, we were later seated in the loudest area of the restaurant. This has been by far the worst restaurant experience I ever had.
