Amazing tacos. Quick service. Take them to go and eat along the esplanade!
Definitely in the top 5 tacos in Los Angeles. Tiny place but great food and the best fish taco! High quality fresh ingredients and if you get there early they have an amazing breakfast burrito.
Best Mexican spot we got here in the South Bay. More of a quick lunch or pick up spot so maybe the atmosphere isn’t the main thing, but who cares? IT’S DELICIOUS 🤤 Pro tip: if you are not big on spicy food, ask for spicy on the side :)
Like all the other reviews said, this spot feels like a well kept secret but they absolutely deserve 5 stars. Everything is delicious. The tortillas are particularly amazing, and even with a line the staff keeps things moving fast. On the weekend they sell Baran 2239 breakfast burritos which are a religious experience. Get a carne asada taco and thank me later.
Off the chain! Hands down the best tacos and burritos I’ve ever had. The breakfast burritos are amazing but everything else is even better.
Some of the best flavored tacos in town! They’re willing to do “mild” or “no spice” for anyone who doesn’t like spice (which makes it easy to order for a group.) Haven’t had a soggy taco problem with takeout orders either, which is rare. Rave reviews from all my friends I’ve taken these to. Highly recommended lunch or takeout spot. So delicious!!
The Mexican Restaurant that never misses. Living in Redondo for 8 years tried everything. Tigres is the best Mexican Food Restaurant in all South Bay. This food is made with love, the quality is top shelf. Staff is happy all the time. The creative combo of flavors leaves you feeling accomplished. You didn't go eat, you went to go have a mini experience. MUST HAVE: Fish tacos (battered) (pico de gallo recipe is unique & refreshing) Al Pastor unbelievable combo of flavor (if you're not into spice ask for it on the side) Al pastor Nachos are incredible because of the quality of the meats & the chip they use (gotta be the corn tortillas made in house). Coconut Horchata (holyyyyy moly! You'll keep coming back for more!) incredible! They would be considered the best nachos on planet earth if only they had actual nacho cheese sauce. Not the shredded cheese that's used in 95% of places. Next time I visit I will ask for cheese on the side & run to Taco Bell or Chipotle only for the cheese sauce (not even joking). CA Burrito is fulfilling & great if you're into that. I'd try the tacos before anything. Nothing else like it. Ask for all the salsas. They're not jerks about it at all, the staff simply wants you to have a good time. Bottom line, the best Mexican food restaurant in South Bay. I say the best because of the authenticity, quality & presentation. This isn't tarasco rosas goloso chains. This is authentic real Mexican food.
Their breakfast burrito is now the number one in the South Bay. If you like Phannys, don’t come here, these burritos are actually amazing and live up to the hype.
Really happy we got to try this place out. We ordered a couple different tacos and a ceviche and everything was delicious. Seating is limited so consider getting your order to go. If you're in the neighborhood, it's definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend.
This is controversial, but I don’t like tacos (besides birria tacos lol) but Tigres Fuego has changed my mind. Quality ingredients, amazing and fast service, good vibes, and tasty drinks. Def try it out if you’re in the area! All the tacos I had were amazing, I even liked the sweet potato alternative!
Best tacos I’ve had in the South Bay and some of the best in LA. Fresh al pastor is so bomb. The jerk chicken one is also was really tasty. On the weekend you can get the famous Barans breakfast burritos - this place is worth a visit! Delicious and casual
Tacos were well composed with a range of flavors but an acute spice profile. Meat is tender and rich, and an array of creative vegetarian options are also available. A great stop in Redondo especially while enjoying the gem of coastline.
I shouldn’t be doing this… this spot feels like a secret to the hands down the best burritos and low key my personal choice for my last meal on earth if it came down to it. The asada Jim bob burrito is otherworldly like… it doesn’t make any sense why it’s sooo much better than any other burrito I’ve had in LA… yes it’s 15$, yes that’s expensive, yes it is 10000% worth every penny. This is a small VERY talented somewhat young crew who are absolutely killing the game. DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS SPOT… DO NOT WALK.. RUN to this spot if you’re craving life changing levels of Mexican food
The counter staff are always cheerful. The menu is short and filled only with items that can be faithfully and efficiently executed. It would be nice to have more seating options, but the size of Tigres Fuego is its only objective shortcoming. Turkey carnitas is delicious every time.
Civiche was amazing! The burritos are quite large. Decent line when ordering. Only two tables. We were able to snag one, but many others were taking their orders to go.
Place is unreal and always busy. Everything I get is always good. Peruvian ceviche & Jerk chicken taco are some of my favorites. Despite it always being busy, the service is great. Coral is working non stop, yet is always super nice. It hit me today how great the whole team is there, when one customer was unreasonably rude today. Thank you Tigres!
4.25/4.5 stars. At 9:50 a.m. on a Saturday, Tigres Fuego was refreshingly line-free, already earning points for efficiency. I ordered the breakfast burrito with chorizo, and it appeared so fast it beat my receipt to the counter. The cashier was warm and welcoming, setting the tone for an easy morning stop along PCH and Avenue E. Seating is limited, so this is a grab-and-go kind of place, and it suits the vibe just fine. The burrito itself comes wrapped in a soft, non-greasy tortilla, a small miracle in the breakfast burrito world. Inside, fluffy eggs, seasoned rice, cheese, tots, and chorizo come together in a balanced, satisfying bite. It’s tasty with or without sauce, though the green brings more heat than the mellow red. At roughly six to seven inches, it’s filling without being outrageous. Not the best I’ve ever had, but absolutely rotation-worthy. Solid 8.5 out of 10, and worth revisiting often soon.
The breakfast burritos were delicious 😋 We had one bacon and one chorizo. Tasty salsa too! Long line but it moves quickly because they're pre-made- and because of that, they sell until sold out. I think breakfast burritos are only sold on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Our friends brought us to Tigres and kinda hyped it up. And me? Never about the hype but THIS PLACE is IT. So good. Local and comfortable vibes, right near the beach - perfect for a quick pickup. Coral at the front was lovely and accommodating, and the guys are all hard at work cooking up each order freshly grilled. We loved all of their tacos, burritos and ceviche but personally - the Jerk Chicken taco was extra tops. Definitely a must-visit!
Came because we love the Baran’s breakfast burrito, but their lunch menu is just as fantastic. Tried the Cali burrito with carne asada and the jerk chicken taco and both were a 10/10. Perfect spice level and the salsa was killer too. Will be back!
Wait in the line (it'll move fast) order a breakfast burrito (chorizo is best, bacon a second best) and walk a couple blocks to the beach and enjoy on the Esplanade. I heard so many good things about this burrito and it did not disappoint! It may be the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. We had four people in our group and everyone agreed. The salsas are so good though the chorizo was so good it didn't even need it. One of the rare cases where the food lived up to the hype.
Yum. Sinfully good! I got Jim Bobs burrito and it has probably one of the best burritos I’ve had. The meat had a nice flavor. Everything was well proportioned so you got a taste of everything in every bite. The size was perfect. Totally filling but not ridiculously huge where you feel gross after. So good. Can’t wait to try the ceviches and tacos next.
Stopped by because I read that they serve the famous Baran 2239 breakfast burritos. Sure enough, they do and the breakfast burrito is as delicious as advertised! It’s on the pricey side for a breakfast burrito ($15 and change after tax) side but well worth it!
Looove this place! Best tacos and ceviche! A new concept from one of my favorite restaurants, Baran's 2239. I'm always so impressed with how versatile this crew is. The menu is simple and packed with flavor. 5 tacos, 4 ceviches, 2 agua frescas and 1 horchata... boom! The Agua Chile Ceviche is my absolute favorite. Spicy, green (like the walls!! 💚) and oh so delicious. Also love the Al Pastor and Veggie Tacos. They will tone down the spice factor if you want... but the flavors are so good. The tacos are generous! Bigger than the street tacos I expected. I either get 2 tacos or 1 taco and a ceviche and it's perfect for me. It's a tiny place that's mainly take-out but there are a couple tables outside and a few indoor seats along a bar if you want to stay and eat there. Peach Jamaica Agua Fresca is a must, too. This place is crushing it! Ave E & PCH. Highly recommend!
Good quality ingredient tacos. Tried most of the tacos. Our favorite is the potato mushroom, turkey carnitas and Al pastor . The carne asada is a little too spicy for us.
Handmade, packed with flavor, layers, the way tacos should be. Not just tacos, though- ceviches, freshly curated, and drinks from scratch. The team has taken the concept of taqueria to the next level. Everything here is good. Everything is homemade. These guys are A-level.
There will usually always be a line for their breakfast burritos on the weekends, which sell out very fast. My favorite is the chorizo, but I am also partial to their specialty burritos. If you miss the weekend breakfast burrito or want to stop by during the week, they have amazing ceviche, and the Jim Bob burrito is delicious! Two of the Verde Salsa always!
Really good, elevated fresh tacos, burritos and ceviches that are pretty healthy. Had the sweet potato & mushroom taco ($4.50) that was the highlight. Also had a turkey carnitas taco ($5.00) that was good too. Only drinks offered are sodas in a can and various types of bottled water. No seating other than a small bar with 5 stools and two high-top tables outside. Will definitely be back.

Delicious burritos! I've had all of their (Baran's) breakfast burritos, available Friday through Sunday mornings and they're excellent, the best in the South Bay. I finally got a chance to try their standard lunch time burritos and I'm equally impressed. Carne Asada California style with fries and refried beans inside, the sauce they use inside is delicious and their salsa is great, could be a little spicier for me but I get that not everyone loves intense heat. I also tried a burrito bowl, not impressed with that one. Flavors are on point but the portion of meat in the bowl was sad for the price. Burritos are a much better value, stick with those!
Best tacos in the south bay. Fish taco is the best I've had down here. Al pastor is my other favorite. If you don't like it spicy let them know.
The service here is fantastic! Incredibly kind and fast. I enjoyed the sweet potato and mushroom burrito bowl with fries instead of rice, and a side of corn tortillas. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. The corn tortillas have a wonderful bite and flavor.
Super tiny place with nowhere to sit but GREAT food. This is our go to Mexican food spot in the south bay. We love picking up from here and walking down to the beach and enjoying our food with a view. Everything we've tried is great, but Im partial to the ceviches (especially the one with Pineapple) and their burritos.

Can real pure Mexican cantina. I had tacos and a burrito.
Excellent tacos, they run out pretty fast, specially breakfast menu. We love the food and the place is always busy.
Very satisfying breakfast burrito. Got here when they opened and there was already a line. The line did go really quick as the cashier was very efficient. Great flavor, had the right ratio of meat to everything else. I prefer the red salsa, smoky and hot.
Great breakfast burrito, excellent flavor and consistency. Must also try their coconut horchata. Always a line out now... Pretty good tacos (fish and carnitas), good flavor and level of spice, will come again try the some more or the burrito. Some counter space and a couple small tables outside.

Tacos have good flavor. But not beyond what you would get at other local Mexican restaurants. The tacos here are not worth the price. Expect prices to be roughly double what you would pay at another Mexican restaurant. The problem is the flavor isn’t beyond those restaurants to justify the extra price here. Atmosphere is bland and there is limited seating options.
Very underwhelming… for allegedly having the best ceviche in la and some of the best fish tacos… I wish I had come into this spot with low expectations, I mean it’s right next to the beach, and you can see some of the prettiest sunsets around, two blocks over… but it was just too spicy and nothing special.
Tigres Fuego sells premade Baran’s 2239 breakfast burritos (Fridays–Sundays). The bacon one is solid, but $16+ feels steep for grab-and-go. The owner lady seems nice—like nice demeanor—but she's always glued to the register, monitoring every customer and move intensely. It creates an uncomfortable, surveilled vibe; hard to feel at ease when she's constantly watching the whole operation. Sometimes I tip, sometimes I don’t—honestly, it’s hard to justify tipping for a $16 premade burrito she just grabs from the back. But last time, she handed me one half the size of what I’ve had before—same Baran’s foil wrap, yet comically shrunken. Tough to chalk up to chance when she personally picks and delivers every order, and it feels like no tip means a smaller portion. Suggestion: Dial back the intense oversight for a more relaxed feel, and ensure consistent portions regardless of tipping. Heading to Baran’s in Hermosa direct from now on.

HORRIBLE!!! I’m Peruvian and that is not a Peruvian ceviche, not here , not in China!!! Some red fish very hard cut in cubes , not in not cooked in lime juice, the cornuts are stale. And lastly Peruvians NEVER PUT AVOCADO IN THEIR CEVICHE. I hope they remove this item from their listing. I guess they know you don’t want to ask for a refund if you try in your car, there is no fork or napkins included . Fish taco was edible.
Tigres Fuego is truly one of the best places to eat in the South Bay and the service is INCREDIBLE. Seriously, I always feel like family there. I miss them. Ever since they changed their hours to literally never be open for dinner, (after I get off work), my whole family hasn’t been able to go. It’s been MONTHS!!! almost a YEAR!!!! anybody working a 9-5 basically can’t go here???? Crying because I haven’t tasted that incredible green salsa in hundreds of days 😩😩 Haven’t joked with the staff over the phone in thousands of minutes. I never leave reviews but this has been so upsetting to me and my family. PLEASE TIGRES FUEGO. I know people like those boujee breakfast burritos but PLEASE, let a working girl eat tacos 😭😭😭🙏 maybe just Friday nights???? love yall. miss yall. ily.
The burrito would’ve been perfect if they didn’t throw a couple little pieces of meat. The ration of beans rice pico and meat is a rip off! You pay $17 for a steak burrito and they grill the meat nicely it’s just such a shame they try to skimp out on meat. Even the pico? All you get is rice and beans which sucks because I would come here all the time if they put in more effort
