I stopped here by chance after hiking the Bracco Pass, and what can I say? Francesco is the perfect host: fast, intuitive, friendly, excellent selection of meats, and a lovely little place both inside and out. Highly recommended!

Today we happened to stop by Bar Il Geko for an aperitif! We had two spritzes and were served with some truly delicious appetizers! We browsed the place and were greeted by some truly brilliant people!!! We'll be back for dinner!!!
The perfect lunch break! Parking available, quick and very friendly service, excellent food quality, and a very reasonable price! Recommended for anyone in the Sestri Levante area!
We passed by here on our way to our holiday destination. It looked appealing from the outside, so we decided to give the food a try. We were there on Sunday afternoon, probably at an unusual time for eating out. We ordered hamburgers with fries, and even though there was only one server, it arrived relatively quickly. The portion was generous and the price was reasonable. If it hadn't been so nice here, I might have gotten homesick, because my burger also had frankfurters on top 😂. We really enjoyed our meal, and the atmosphere was nice too. So, why not try it out for yourself?
We had lunch here by chance and it was a pleasant surprise. The owner is friendly and approachable! We chose a double burger platter with potatoes, salad, peppers, and egg! We then tried the torta della nonna and a crostata! 🤤 The place has a beautiful terrace where you can eat :) Highly recommended.

Excellent breakfasts, friendly staff; excellent grilled meats and lunchtime menus are available, with takeaway also available; try the Piedmontese Fassona beef tartare with pesto.

A charming and well-heated place in the center of Casarza Ligure. Sitting on the veranda, if there are no other tables occupied, you'll have to get up to take additional orders. Excellent cocktails served in attractive glasses are accompanied by a platter of various tasty appetizers. It's a shame you can't order the aperitif without a reservation.
A place with no identity that tries to do too much, but none of it is done well. Rude bartender who slams plates on the counter, poor croissants, and subpar focaccia. Unremarkable burgers, dirty place, a not-so-recommended atmosphere, poorly maintained, yet with great potential. It's a shame, because two years ago we stopped by for lunch and had a great time.
We were really looking forward to visit this establishment based on the positive reviews but we left disappointed. My hamburger was very poor, the meat was burnt, the bacon burnt to coal, I could taste coal in my mouth... The bun was also burnt from the bottom. The hamburger was more like from buffet than from so called Hamburger House. Definitely not worth the price. I do not recommend at all..
Embarrassing... the owner must have a drinking problem because he came out with a glass in his hand, yelling and screaming like I'd never seen before. The pastries in the window also looked old to me. I won't comment on the cleanliness.
How's the food? I'd like to know too. After ordering almost immediately, an hour later we still weren't sure if we'd be having lunch or dinner. I paid for the water and we left. Maybe the rice cake was sold out. I strongly advise against it, not because of the food, which I didn't get to try, but because of the rudeness of the service.
