The homemade pasta is a world of difference! The lasagne was brilliant with light as a feather layers of pasta. The salad is big enough for sharing and the homemade dressing was very good. The pizza is thin crust and tasty. The crust is left to mature and is really tasty. The owner is very nice and welcoming. The wine selection is good. My only pick is the music is too loud I would prefer a little Sinatra.
First of all, I love supporting small local businesses and this place definitely hits the spot. The owner I believe is Italian and was so personable. They serve fresh handmade pasta as we were looking for a place similar to Patrizi but closer up north. And Dough it Up definitely hit the spot in terms of a place that is serving handmade pasta that is very well done. You start by ordering at the counter and you can choose which type of pasta and which type of sauce you would like. You can definitely modify the menu to what suits you for example I wanted pasta with tomato sauce, but did not want vegan cheese and they were able to adjust so that I could have handmade fettuccine with tomato sauce and real Parmesan cheese. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. The sauce had a right balance of acidity and sweetness from the basil. The potion size was just right. The tiramisu was also very good as it was not too watery with espresso, even though I did not think it needed the chocolate sauce. The texture of the tiramisu was perfect. My husband got the Bolognese and enjoyed it as well though he thought the Bolognese in bologna was better, but does that surprise anyone? No you can’t beat wherever the dish originated from. Can’t wait to go back to try more pasta, dishes, and curious to know how the pizza is. Parking is free as it is in a strip mall. Restaurant is on the smaller side so wouldn’t recommend it for groups larger than 6.
After reading all the comments for Dough It Up restaurant finally made it tonight. I heard last night there was a line out the door. The place is small so it can get busy quick. We went around 7:30 PM which was perfect . When we walked in, we were waiting to be seated and someone dining there told me you have to walk up to the counter order and then you can sit anywhere. They’ll bring the food to you. I was going for the lasagna because from what I read in the comments, they make it the way my Italian grandmother used to make it not with ricotta cheese., but with béchamel sauce . They were sold out so I definitely have to go back and try it. I got a Margherita pizza. It’s not on the menu, but the owner said they can make it. The pizza was amazing. Perfect. I don’t like pizza with lots of sauce, and this pizza had perfect amount of sauce. It was very delicious the crust was perfect the bottom was not too thin. My husband had the meatballs with fettuccine and red sauce. I also had to try the Bolognese with spaghetti. Everything was al dente and delicious.
Solid spot that just opened up in the CP Lakeline area for Italian food that nona would approve of! The sweetest owners and crew were very helpful in assisting with our order taking. Dough it up's space is a little cozy and can be a tight fit at peak dinner hours, advise coming early because by the time we finished our meal, folks were hunting down our table and bussing up the dishes we left. You order at counter and then pick a table to sit at after, which I noticed there were several people who were confused and waiting for someone to greet them, but then realized this spot was counter service. The prices are a bit higher than we anticipated but we recognize the labor and effort in terms of quality of dishes and agree that it justifies the costs. We loved the pastas, cooked perfectly. I didn't really feel we should've gotten the garlic bread and fries, and the extra bread we paid for with our pasta dish, made me regret my picks so wish the staff had talked us out of this as this was too much bread for our meal. We enjoyed our meal, and are looking forward to returning for the next time we get to try their pizza :)
We really enjoyed our meal here! We ordered the pasta and pizza, and both were great. The pasta is made with house-made noodles, which made it even better. You do order at the counter, but the staff brings the food to your table, refills your water, checks in to see if you need anything, and clears the table afterward. Definitely coming back!
Family stopped in a couple of weeks ago (BIG pasta 🍝family) This place is AMAZING the food 100% authentic. They have a brick oven for pizza🍕 and a good selection of wines🍷 and beer🍺. Only down side was the seating is a little tight. Hopefully they will be able to expand within a couple of years.
FINALLY. Finally, finally, finally—North Austin has a true Italian restaurant. As someone who spends a lot of time in Europe every year, I can say without hesitation: this is the real deal. The owners are in the kitchen, cooking and working the floor themselves. The pasta is made in-house. The lasagna, layered with béchamel, is outstanding. There’s capricciosa pizza. There’s German Paulaner beer on tap. The music actually sets the mood instead of fighting it. Honestly—does it get any better? We tried all of the above, loved every bite, and already can’t wait to go back to explore more of the menu. This is exactly the kind of experience you’d expect at a small, family-run café tucked away in Tuscany. I sincerely hope this place is around for a long, long time.
Just checked out the new restaurant, dough it up! We got to meet the owner who was also the head chef, Mimosa! (pronounced Mee-Mosa, might actually be a stage name, but regardless loved it!) She gave us a sample of a new plate they are piloting, a cream mushroom meatball plate with homemade focaccia bread- it was so delicious! Then we ordered the meatball, tomato, and basil fusilli pasta ($18) and the Chicken Pesto fusilli pasta ($22). The pasta was HOMEMADE & al dente with a nice mouthful to it. We are obsessed with these meatballs - they melt in your mouth! The portions are huge for the price, and the staff has been so generous & kind! We look forward to coming again and again!
So good!!!!! Hidden new gem in Cedar Park that blows away all the competition near by! I’m picky when it comes to Italian because I am Italian so when I say it’s delicious it truly is. The pasta is fresh made In house and you can tell. We got the fettuccine Carbonara and the Capriccosa pizza. The sauce on the pasta was amazing! The crust on the pizza was so good also. The sauce and ingredients were very tasty as well. The Capriccosa has red sauce, mozzarella, Prosciutto, mushrooms, black olives, artichoke hearts and fresh basil. We will definitely be back and this will be our Cedar Park Italian go-to for sure from now on. 😋 Can’t wait to go back and try more items!
Family owned restaurant has the real Italian food here.. Everything was very fresh and delicious! The owners are very friendly too. We had the Eggplant parmesan appetizer, Contadina salad, Bolognes and Tiramasu. The atmosphere is casual and family friendly. Their pizzas looked very appealing. We will be back!
I have had the pizza, lasagna, arugula and caesar salads all good, but my go to favorite is the prosciutto, cheese and arugula on homemade focaccia bread (see picture) I bought of bottle of Montalcino wine to pair with it. I visited between lunch and dinner which was perfect with only one other table speaking only in Italian. Very welcome addition to the neighborhood.
Fantastic food, seriously a 10/10. Fresh pasta made to order
Wooooow y’all Cedar Park just leveled up on the food scene and we couldn’t be more excited to have this little gem open up. We had the chicken pesto, carbonara and lasagna. All were incredible and very authentic. The owner and “Tomosso” were the absolute sweetest, and while they were slammed with the phone ringing off the hook and a perpetual line at the counter, they managed to bring our food out quickly and it was all perfection. Unfortunately they were out of focaccia so I will have to go back immediately, shucks :) Definitely go check them out!
Dough It Up was absolutely amazing! We had a pizza to start and then the chicken, mushroom, and mascarpone pasta, hands down the most authentic Italian food we’ve had around here! The Tiramisu was really good too.
Dough It Up delivers on fresh ingredients and a cozy atmosphere, offering simple yet delicious pizza and pasta. The dishes burst with flavor and quality ingredients. A truly great spot for a satisfying meal!
We had this Italian sausage pizza and a regular cheese pizza. Some of the best cheese pizza we have ever had. The dough tasted so fresh. The restaurant itself is decorated nicely. A must for pizza in Cedar Park!
FINALLY A GOOD ITALIAN PLACE NEAR ME 🫶🏼🤍🤍🤍🤍 Staff is incredible, food is incredible, fast, delicious oh my gosh i have been twice and both times it was so yummy !! Thank youuu

This is a new restaurant where they make fresh pasta noodles from scratch! We have been desperately looking for a place like this in the Cedar Park area. We met the owner/head chef - Mimosa! We had a great first experience! Fresh pasta tastes so much better and different than boxed pasta! Go try it! The chicken and mushrooms with white cream sauce was excellent!
Authentic Italian food! So delicious with fresh ingredients!
This place is perfect. I was looking for some authentic Italian food here in the US and I finally found it, the plates taste heavenly. They make their own pasta, the ambient is cozy and the food is amazing, super good place overall, go see for yourself if you also love pasta like me. 😋
What an adorable place we got in town now. Food and service was amazing. Ambiance is wonderful and sort of takes us back to Italy. We ordered vegetable pizza and chicken mushroom pasta. Both were great. My kid loved his cheese pizza and said it’s the best in town. Must try this new place! We will be back absolutely.
Super delicious food, nice wine so we will be back but only canned sodas. Then we got dirty silverware. They could use a larger venue, or take orders at he table. The place is so small a lady waiting in line to order pushed our plate on our table with her behind when she bent down.
Just another subpar fast causal American Italian spot. I really wanted to like this place after seeing the reviews… 4 cheese pizza was so salty we couldn’t even eat it… Lasagna was okay but not great. The garlic bread was good but what’s not to love about bread? This place has the potential to be better!
Everything is à la carte here. You have to order up at the front. I thought some bread or even a small Cesar salad would be complimentary but it is not. I ended up ordering garlic bread for $10. For 2 pasta dishes, garlic bread & one canned soda it was $58 before tip. The food was good but definitely way over priced. There’s a few places near by that are just as great that give you bread & salad with your entree. I hope they think about adding in bread or something with the meals, that would be fantastic and worth the value.
