One of my favorite spots to go for lunch and dinner. Prices are really good and I could eat chips and salsa for days. They are very friendly and you definitely feel welcomed when you first walk in. Check it out, it may just become one of your favorite places too!

Ahh.. where do I start?? Been here before years ago with a large group of people.. service from what I remember was ok.. there were about a dozen of us back then.. This visit however was with my bf.. ONLY place to offer shrimp flautas and they were amazing!! That's a super plus!! The marg flight were awesome, tons of flavor to choose from and great price compared to other places I've been to!! I chose the botana platter to get a sampler of things and it did not disappoint either.. overall, a great experience and will definitely be back.. specially for the marg flight!!

If you go here ask for Karla. She’s the best great recommendations and the food was delectable. Once it came to the table my mouth began to water, the smells made all my senses come to life. From the charred tomatoes to the blistered peppers and the chicken was well seasoned, the pork tamales were ok. The taco salad came with all the fixings & for a little extra you can get assorted flavors in your margarita… Raspberry, mango, and my fave cucumber. The menu selection is good for lunch dinner a special occasion or just a something good to eat.

This was about 3 minutes from our hotel and such a great find. We were greeted once we walked in and quickly seated. Our waitress came out quickly and took our drink order. Then out came one the best darn crispy chips and salsa (has a kick but not overbearing) we’ve had in a long time. My wife is from New Mexico and their Mexican food is different compared to us in Texas and Oklahoma but I must say we were both impressed. This is a MUST try — the chicken tortilla soup is outstanding, OMgoodness it was delicious, trust us, you won’t be disappointed. Wife had the New Mexico style flat enchilada’s which is a traditional food on the Pueblo rez. I had the 2 cheese enchiladas with red sauce and the red sauce was great, New Mexico style and flavored. I also had a crispy beef taco which is was great, ground beef flavored and packed full, rice was tender and moist and the charro beans topped it all off. We definitely had no complaints and highly recommend this restaurant, it won’t disappoint.

This place is always busy so we were very excited to try it! Depending on the time there won’t be a wait or a 30-40m wait. Our server Ashley was on point with bringing our food and checking on us. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors! I am Latina and very pick with seasoning and this was fire! Definitely try the pork flavored beans. It was the best I ever had!

My first time eating here and boy was it yummy. If you're looking for authentic Mexican, this may not be your place but if you're looking for Tex-Mex.... Welcome home!!! I had the chicken enchiladas and my boyfriend had the nachos. We also have an appetizer of queso that was spiked with ground beef and guacamole (DELICIOUS). My enchiladas were delicious as were the nachos. The serving sizes are abundant so you'll definitely get full and the prices are super affordable (especially during lunch). Our waitress (Nora/Noreen), was super knowledgeable about the menu and made great suggestions. She was attentive and made sure my lemonade never went empty. She was truly a joy. The Manager also made it a point to visit our table and was even gracious enough to take our empty dishes. I'll definitely be heading back soon and if you're in the Lakeline area... You too short pay these amazing folks a visit. You're tummy will thank you.

Today I returned to my local TexMex restaurant. Again the Texican cafe in Lakeline delivered. The locale? Service and food were all excellent.

This was a good Mexican experience. I ordered a chimichanga and my wife ordered a shrimp taco set. The waitress was really nice and kept filling our chips and dip up. Super cool. The food was cooked well and had a nice flavor. The restaurant wasn’t too busy for Saturday and I felt the environment was quite warm and receptive. The chips and dip was nice, a corn chip with a salsa not too spicy.

Running Deep

This was our first time to the Texican Cafe in Cedar Park. Overall the service was great and the food was good. Our server, Victor, was friendly and attentive. He checked on us several times to ensure we were happy with our meals. A great smile and interesting to talk with, Victor did a fantastic job. The chips and salsa that were delivered to our table as soon as we sat down were a high point of the meal. The chips were crisp, and the salsa was flavorful with the right amount of spice. We really enjoyed the chips and salsa. I got the Burrito Especial, and my wife got the Texican Dinner. Overall, the food was good. Everything was tasty, and the portion size was large. However, in our opinion, there was too much sauce over the food. The description on the menu for the Burrito Especial says "topped" with chile con queso. What it should say is "smothered" in chile con queso. My wife's sour cream shredded chicken enchilada was also smothered with the sour cream sauce. The food itself was very good and didn't need to be smothered, which unfortunately overpowered the dish. Just our personal preference. Another minor comment would be that the refried beans were basically a bean puree. We prefer some actual bean pieces or chunks in our refried beans, but, again, that's a personal preference. We did enjoy our meal and will come back to try different menu items. This place is worth giving it a try!

Our waiter was great and fast and definitely courteous... my daughters tacos didn't come with enough cheese. My wife's nachos had way too much cheddar cheese so there were no beans to be found under all that cheese so no flavor really. The carne quisada was great only bad thing on my plate was the enchilada I ordered on my plate was not very tasty.

This restaurant has Quality food and friendly staff. Our server, Hannah, was great and took our order promptly. My husband and I split fajitas and some nachos. Everything tasted freshly made with plenty of flavor but not too spicy. The salsa seems mild at first but by the time you finish your first bowl there is some heat build up. Fajita meat was chewy but very tasty. Full fajitas setup comes with it. I have wheat and corn allergies so I have to be careful, and an hour later, I have no issues but a full belly 😉 UPDATE: Went for our second meal a month later, and unfortunately didn't have the same experience as first time. The taco meat looked pink, and had a boiled look and texture. The fajita meat was too chewy, chunky, and couldn't get some of it down. Had the same menu items as before, but just an overall meh 😐 experience during the Holiday season. PHOTOS from first visit.

Sloan Regas

They have a nice patio and the restrooms are very clean. The wait staff are very friendly. The Texican nachos we had tasted like a can of nacho cheese and wolf brand chili. The house margaritas we're too sweet and I think they were non-alcoholic. Maybe the rest of their food is very good, but if you're just stopping in for some house margaritas and nachos not so much.

I had a taco salad. It came out in around 2 mins which was suspicious. Instead of being an actual salad with tortilla chips in it was a big fried tortilla in the shape of a bowl with the lettuce, tomatoe, cheese and chicken inside. It was just an odd combination putting in hot chicken with cold ingredients. The service was good but overall the food was middle of the road. I also wasnt asked where I wanted to sit and was placed by the bar. Sadly, I wouldn't recommend this place.

Whenever we visit Cedar Park or Austin we usually like to stop here. But that's not the case so much these days. Ovee the past few years the service and food had become mediocre. Today's visit was about the same. The waiter serving us took 30 minutes before he even came to get our drink order. Every table he waited on he kept saying in sorry for the delay. Once he did get our order the food came out extremely fast. So this tells me most is already prepared and placed on EXTREMELY hot plates. Presentation of food is nice but lacks flavor sometimes. The fajitas meat was always my favorite but it's more of boiled chewy flavor. My kids love the Queso dip and chips. Chips are always crispy and warm.

We had a very disappointing experience trying to place a simple to-go order. We called and the employee who answered asked us to hold. She put the phone down and never came back. We stayed on hold for over 15 minutes and could hear dishes in the background the entire time, but no one ever picked the phone back up. After waiting that long, we walked into the restaurant while still on hold and found that it wasn’t busy at all. The same employee who had left us on hold then took our order. While we were waiting for the food, a man who identified himself as a manager approached us. We explained what had happened, expecting at least an apology. Instead, he became defensive and confrontational, which was very surprising coming from someone in a management position. Customer service situations like this should be handled with professionalism and concern, not defensiveness. We hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving how customers are treated.
