It can be loud but great to talk, entertain, and interactive with everyone. The bar is great to just grab a drink or even add a great meal. Table service as well. Noise depends on time and day of week. Noisy when full.

I have dined at IlMulino in NYC many times so I was a little nervous that the Boca location would Be a disappointment. Thankfully it was not as a matter of fact it was wonderful Our Captain Henry was so attentive we felt live we had know him for years. And our waitress Helena was cheerful pleasant and helpful she even helped us pick our desert (Teramisu) And it was delicious. My entree was a pounded chicken coated in cheese and a lemon butter Sauce. It was exceptional My husband had the squid ink pasta with seafood, the pasta was perfectly cooked and there was so much seafood he could barely finish.. We will definitely return, thank you for such a special evening

Henry & Helana , Captain and server greeted us warmly and were professional and delightful. I had the black squid pasta with seafood , best example of the dish I’ve had in Florida . Wife had a chicken encrusted with an aged Parmesan and in a light lemon butter. Delicious and quite ample portion. Tiramisu splendid. All in all a 5 star experience.

We had an excellent meal at Il Mulino Boca to celebrate our anniversary. Our server Henry was so kind and attentive to anything we needed. He even brought us a dessert with a candle and Happy Anniversary written on the plate after another diner told hm we were celebrating. He was amazing. Please eat there you will not be disappointed

Always a great time at Il Mulino Boca Raton. Jonny greats all his guests so warmly. The food is delicious. We love every dish especially the veal parm on the bone. We had Patrick as our waiter for our meal the other night. He treated us so well, friendly & professional. Definitely get the chocolate soufflé & fun to do an after dinner lemoncello shot. Was a fantastic night.

Il Mulino is the kind of restaurant that reminds you why dining out can be an experience. From the moment you walk in, the warm ambiance, impeccable service, and inviting aroma of rosemary, sage and garlic set the stage for an unforgettable evening. The highlight of the night was, without question, their 45-day dry-aged ribeye — perfectly seared, incredibly tender, and bursting with rich, deep flavor. It’s one of those rare dishes that makes you pause after the first bite just to appreciate how expertly it’s prepared. This, coming from someone who rarely deviates from their infamous lamb chops. Equally impressive was the salt-crusted Bronzino, which arrived beautifully presented and filleted table side. The fish was unbelievably fresh, moist, and full of subtle Mediterranean flavor — simple, yet one of the best seafood dishes in Boca/Delray. A helpful tip: be sure to tell your server at the beginning of your meal that you’d like the chocolate soufflé for dessert (this was new). It takes about 30 minutes to prepare, but it’s absolutely worth the wait. The soufflé arrives warm and airy, with a perfectly melted center that pairs wonderfully with a scoop of vanilla gelato. What truly elevates Il Mulino beyond other fine dining experiences, however, is the incredible staff. The servers are remarkably attentive, anticipating your needs before you even have to ask, and John Gonzalez, the manager & maître d’ is second to none — gracious, accommodating, and always willing to find a way to squeeze you in, even on the busiest nights. Once you’re seated, they all go above and beyond to make sure your experience is flawless. Quick note - their staff retention is impressive, you can expect to see the same warm, professional and inviting faces every time you come. From start to finish, Il Mulino delivers excellence — world-class food (just like they do in Sunny Isles and NYC), genuine hospitality, and an atmosphere that makes every visit feel special. Whether it’s a for a romantic dinner, business meeting or a celebratory night out, this Italian gem never disappoints. Highly recommended — 10/10 ALL DAY LONG!!!

A Memorable Anniversary Dinner at Il Mulino We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Il Mulino, and it was an experience we’ll never forget, thanks to our fantastic waiter, Henry. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel special and ensured every aspect of our evening was perfect. This was our first time having Henry as our server, and he truly went above and beyond. Not only was he attentive and friendly, but his thoughtful gestures made our celebration even more memorable. I had the pleasure of dining at Il Mulino Boca with my girlfriend, and it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment I called to make a reservation, Viviana made a fantastic impression. She was not only professional but also incredibly warm and attentive over the phone. She made sure to ask all the right questions—whether we were celebrating something special, if we had any dietary restrictions, and whether we preferred to sit inside or outside. When we arrived, the general manager, Johnny, greeted us with a warm welcome. He recommended several dishes, and I chose the pasta special along with the caprese appetizer. Let me tell you, the food was absolutely delicious! Every bite was perfection. Not to mention the rice pudding for dessert. My girlfriends favorite dish of the night. Throughout the evening, Johnny was extremely attentive, ensuring our experience was seamless. The service was impeccable—everything we needed was taken care of without having to ask. We waited 45 minutes past our reservation time no big deal, we’re patient, calm, understanding adults. Or at least we were at that point. After finally being seated, our waitress apparently embarked on a personal journey of self-reflection for another 20-30 minutes before acknowledging our existence. When she did arrive, the vibe was less “Happy Valentine’s Day” and more “How dare you need service.” We were shown a huge tray of bread we’re allowed to pick one small slice of bread each. About 70 minutes into the meal, we had enjoyed one piece of bread and two ravioli each. Final dish came it was just awful and did not taste like real meat or steak. So $345 for a slice of bread each, wrong appetizer, 2 raviolis and a slab of mystery meat. Treated with annoyance by our waiter and 150 minutes of time. Service: painful. Food: confusing. Experience: unforgettable for all the wrong reasons. The saddest part was seeing my fiancé so disappointed on Valentine’s Day. If you’re looking for a memorable evening filled with hunger, delays, and emotional damage, this is your place.
