We are traveling for a cruise leaving out of ft Lauderdale and decided we wanted to try a new Italian place. The atmosphere in here is absolutely like an Italian restaurant that I love, mellow, but full of energy. Our server George is great and was super knowledgeable about the menu/drink specials and the food was absolutely amazing like one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever ate at.

We had such an amazing experience this evening! From the moment we walked in, the vibe and atmosphere were warm, inviting, and spotless - you can truly tell they take pride in the cleanliness and overall vibe, cleanliness, and organization of the space. The food was absolutely incredible - every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The portions are generous, and with their daily specials and pricing, it's honestly an amazing deal for the quality and amount of food you get. The cocktails were next-level. Brian behind the bar is seriously talented - perfectly balanced, creative, and crafted with care. You can tell he knows exactly what he's doing, most especially with his referrals and suggestions. Michael provided impeccable service throughout the entire meal. Attentive, friendly, and professional without being overbearing - he truly elevated the whole experience. Between the outstanding food, incredible cocktails, amazing service, and unbeatable value, this place is a must-visit. We will definitely be back!

Food and service was excellent! Very attentive server. We will definitely return. Everything was delicious. Minus the calamari, it wasn't the best. The clams appetizer in the white wine butter sauce!!! Perfection. 🤤 Dip your bread in it. Yum! Delicious meatballs. Very tasty short rib risotto.

Drove an hour out for a family birthday dinner. Restaurant offers complimentary valet for patrons. Parking in front of building is charged at $5. Valet is behind building and free. Dishes were very yummy. Didn’t have a lot of variations available for menu items. Not a bad thing though. Portion sizes were big.

Super great place, just getting to know it , hence 4 stars, I'm sure we'll be five stars. Very comfortable bar good drinks good food, good music good service will be back again and again. UPDATE!! 5 ☆ now! Had a lovely dinner w husband and 4 other friends, their first time. Service was great by AJ, atmosphere is very nice and cozy w white table cloths, water and bread served right away. Ordered an antipasto for the table which was delicious. Everyone loved their entrees and took home half, portions are huge, no room for dessert. I highly recommend. And they have sunset special dinners for $ 19.99!!! We'll be back!

From the moment you walk in the hostess is friendly and wonderful, the waiter was also friendly and very informative about the specials. The atmosphere was a mixture of casual and romantic, the wine selection was plentiful, the food was very delicious and the desserts menu was a bit short and nothing too spectacular that wows you, but what it lacks in selection it gains in authenticity. Definitely coming back, if its your first time they give you a 1st timers disccount..do not forget to ask you waiter about it prior to your check.

Food was great. Quaint place kinda like the old school Italian feel. Only complaint was the canoli was mediocre.

Definitely worth checking out. First night we showed up it was packed ! Unfortunately they were booked. The next morning we made a reservation and it lived up to the hype . There was 4 of us. We started off with the fried calamari (smaller portion) the amount of calamari was plentiful! The next appetizer was the crispy eggplant topped with buratta. This was the perfect combo to start with. The kids had food from the sunset menu, (3 course meal 19.99). Pasta fagioli was a hit along with the rigatoni with ricotta and meatballs ! I had the rigatoni with sausage and broccoli rapini ,. The wife had the veal chop and these dishes were amazing as well as plentiful . For dessert we shared hazelnut gelato , pistachio gelato and a piece of tiramisu along with a nice espresso! Definitely top notch food along with service. Giorgio was our server and he was on top of it all. . definitely coming back!

Today I had an extremely pleasant dinner at this restaurant. We started with Clams Oreganata, which was delicious. My wife preferred Gnochi Ala Caprino and I preferred Veal Parmigiana, which were perfect. To finish off with dessert, we ordered Tiramisu. The waiter was very attentive, helpful and quick with our order. I'm sorry but I do not remember his name, but He was able to explain everything. He works with his brother there. We will certainly be back.

First time customer.. Great experience. Had the ideal table outside (in a corner away from everyone and the downpour Sat night). Great food. Restaurant abiding by social distancing, masks, etc. Large portions allowed for both of us to take some home. Two items they can improve... bring out bread (we had to ask for it) and cardboard boxes are flimsy for leftovers if your meal has a sauce. Ask for a bag too.

Made reservations for Xmas dinner at Luigi’s. Seated promptly by the hostess. Our waiter AJ was awesome. He quickly bought us our beverages and patiently answered all our questions. Decided to have the House salad, so huge that we had to share. Our Chicken Piccata and Chicken Francaise was just as hearty as the house salad, we decided to take it home to try the creamy Italian style Ricotta cheesecake. Overall, I can understand why this place is so busy. The food is delicious. The staff were all friendly. Valet parking is a must. Not a lot of parking spots to be had.

Fat Boy panini, excellent and perfect in every way. Initially I was expecting a warm/grilled panini, but this is served cold/room temp and I think it was better that way. I got it to go and it came carefully wrapped in wax paper inside a to go container. Cut in half, this sandwich a good size and the focaccia bread is excellent. By the way, the pistachio spread/truffle stracciatella combo is ACE, absolutely phenomenal. 10/10 definitely worth trying

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Luigi di Roma! The pasta sauce was out of this world – rich, flavorful, and clearly made with love. I ordered the short rib, and it was incredibly tender and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. My son couldn’t get enough of the chicken meatballs and the eggplant pancakes – both were a hit with the whole table. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. Warm, welcoming atmosphere and amazing food – we’ll definitely be back!

Had dinner here last night with a close friend of mine and it was excellent. The server Frank helped me choose an excellent white wine since I am just starting to try out wines and it was a great choice by him! Great all around will definitely return eventually.

We had a party of ten on Saturday night before Christmas. Food and service were excellent! Everyone was very pleased and would definitely go back. We’ve been regulars for a few years. We were surprised that the place was not busy, but we had a great experience.

You don't have to eat a whole meal there it's very pleasant to just sit at the bar have a glass of wine, and relax in the relaxed atmosphere. By the way the food is really delicious if you do want to eat.

Good food and nice atmosphere. We were looking for a low key Italian restaurant, this place was a little more high end than what we were looking for but was a good experience and good food.

First time there. VERY BUSY Valentines day. A little more chaotic than Im sure they are every night. Hostess nicely but firmly we are running behind said your reservation may be a bit late and it may be either outside or inside. I appreciate this communication instead of waiting and wondering. Called to table sooner than expected. When we got sat it was like we were the only ones there as far as our waiter George was concerned. He was EXCELLENT attentive. Food was amazing dessert great. Had heard some negatives about entertainment noise... NOT TRUE. not loud at all EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE. Will be back for sure.

The Food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was full of rich, authentic Italian flavor and tasted incredibly fresh. You can truly tell that care and passion go into the food. From the first bite to the last, everything was perfectly seasoned and satisfying. The portions were generous, the presentation was beautiful, and the overall experience was outstanding. If you’re looking for amazing Italian food that feels homemade and comforting, this place is a must-try. I can’t wait to go back!

LUIGI di Roma Why fly first class to Italy when you can get first-class white linen table service with Italy’s favorite melodies in the background? Your reservations get your passport stamped for the heart of Italian cuisine. The entire menu is impressive, offering a variety that suits your taste. The Veal Parmesan is a tender, breaded veal cutlet layered with rich marinara and bubbling mozzarella, served over a bed of perfectly al dente spaghetti. It’s a classic done right, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and unapologetically comforting. The Snapper Francine is pan-seared to golden perfection, then bathed in a delicate lemon butter sauce with capers and herbs that elevate the dish to memorable taste. It’s light and flavorful. The day we went, we ordered the Chef’s Specials, which featured shrimp and crab with crunchy vegetables, cooked to perfection. From appetizers like stuffed mushrooms and shrimp cocktail to indulgent desserts like tiramisu, cannoli, or cheesecake, Luigi’s menu is a curated journey through Italy’s culinary landscape. Pair your meal with a wine or crisp Stella Artois, or the best lemonade in town, and you’ve got yourself a night to remember. Frank, the server who’s been there since the beginning, provides you with a warm welcome and sound advice.

First time here..nice place, clean. Lighting was dimmed and it changed the whole atmosphere to a dark bleak. Light came in through the windows instead of the hanging lights above...I was very disappointed. Service was wonderful! Its expensive for Italian food. Rigatoni w some sausage, broccoli rabe $29, side dish of escarole and beans $8, glass of prosecco $10...my bf had a seafood dish$49, side ceasar $9, glass of white zinfindel $9,..dessert tiramisu $10, cappuccino $6. Total check $130..oiy, hurt my heart.😔 Portions were very large, almost comical. My dish didnt have much taste, side dish was blase too. Would have liked more garlic, salt and parm. Tiramisu (homemade) was very nice...light and flavorful. Cappuccino was very good! My bf enjoyed the Seafood Fra Diavolo but not worth $49. Sauce was good, cooked well..he toned down the spice a bit. The bread and butter really yummy. Being Italian and knowing how to cook, it pained me to spend this much money...but my sweetheart wanted to check out the restaurant. Learn to make it at home !

This is a pretty big restaurant with a lot of outside seating and inside seating and a very active bar. The service was great and we enjoyed our clams pasilico appetizer that we shared. We also shared a Caesar salad which was plenty for two people. There were a lot of clams in it. The only thing I didn't like about it was the sauce. The tomato sauce on the clams was dark and thick and for me it didn't have a great taste. My frutti di Mare was a very large portion and delicious. My husband had the pounded veal chop on the bone which he says was good but not great. We would definitely go back and try the clams again with a white sauce on it. And their other entrees which look delicious which were coming out of the kitchen. I also think one entre and one appetizer would be plenty for us both since the portions are really family style.

We went for the Sunset Dinner. This is a three course meal for $19.95. The eggplant parmesan was excellent. The salmon Marco Polo was a tasty and healthy choice. This is a great deal with good service.

I have hear d about Luigi di Roma and decided to try it. A very large and busy restaurant with a sizeable patio area. Very nice and reasonable menu and wine list. Started with Calamari Fritti with pepperoncini and marinara, come in either small or family style portion. We got the small which was nice size. Very crispy with a very good marinara sauce. For mains, I chose the Seafood Fra Diavolo ,clams, shrimp, calamari, 1/2 lobster tail, and mussels, marinara over linguini . Very good, there must have been a pound of pasta. Also I really enjoyed the Fra Diavolo sauce, nice spice and great flavors. My tried the Meatball Stuffed Eggplant Parmigiana, stuffed with meatballs and baked . Definitely unique since we have never seen it on a menu before. Huge portion that she had for an additional 2 meals. Also very good. I highly recommend Luigi di Roma for very good good Southern Italian food.

A great go to place for good authentic food. Great service and chef. We had pasta primavera.. a little salty and too much sauce. We had fried eggplant app. Good taste. Normal. I had the veal chop parm. This is why I come back. I’ve been here 5 times. One of the top three places for bone in veal chop. Great texture and perfect blend of cheese and sauce. My only issues is the atmosphere. The bar is huge and always a lot of people but you see the bar and enter kinda through the bar. It’s kind of awkward and takes away the intimacy. But definitely an authentic Italian restaurant

We went to Luigis for the first time with our dear friends and were pleasantly surprised with the overall experience. Atmosphere was very good, Food was excellent quality and prepared extremely well and to top it all off the service was exceptional. We will for sure be back real soon.

We have been to Luigi di Roma several times and while my shrimp/crabmeat and my son’s salmon was flavorful, the latter was soaked in butter. Unfortunately, my wife’s meal was less enjoyable- she described the snapper as “tasteless” “tasted like a defrosted piece of tilapia”- I enjoyed the cheesecake but the meal overall was expensive and not up to the level that we experienced in our prior meals.

S
Silvio Perissinotti

This restaurant has a good service and good atmosphere, but the Italian dishes are poor, the risoto they served us was made with white rice instead of Italian Arborio rice, this a big fault and deserve a C grade, the rigatoni scallopini Marsala was tasteless also a C. Won’t come back, this not an Italian restaurant.

It took some time before our waiter came. I got the fish of the day which was Swordfish. Very good a friend of mine got pizza and asked for sausage and peppers on it when our food came out he was served a plain pizza they put the toppings in my boyfriends meal... the waiter gave him a free desert.

My experience at Luigi Di Roma was just average. When I walked in, the hostesses greeted me with a very unfriendly attitude. The first thing one of them asked was, “Are you Veronica?” — without a warm welcome or any professionalism. For me, that’s already a bad first impression and poor etiquette. I was also looking for something healthy to eat since my kids eat pizza but I prefer healthier options. The server never took the time to explain or recommend anything on the menu. I ended up ordering something that I didn’t like at all and couldn’t even eat because it was honestly terrible. The only positive part of the service was one male server who was actually attentive and came to check if everything was okay. When it was time to pay, my server was a bit nicer, but by then the overall experience had already been affected by the lack of good service earlier. Out of respect for the industry — because I’ve worked in restaurants myself — I left a 15% tip. But I can’t give 5 stars to a place where the service was so inconsistent. I’m giving it 3 stars because of the one employee who was kind, but the attitude of the hostesses and the lack of guidance from my server made the visit disappointing. I truly hope they improve those details, because customer service means everything.

C
Courtney damato

We keep coming back for the food and live entertainment, which are always great. However, the bar staff—especially the bar manager—could really use some improvement in customer service. Drinks take a long time, even when they’re simple orders, and you often have to ask multiple times just to get basic service. They rarely check in, and most of the time seem more interested in talking to each other than serving guests. I mentioned these concerns to the owner after experiencing this more than once, but his response was, “He’s been with me at my last four restaurants.” Honestly, I found that dismissive—loyalty doesn’t excuse poor service. To his credit, the owner did get us an excellent waitress afterward, but with so many great options nearby in Boca, we don’t feel the need to deal with the attitude.

Ordered one Pizza Margarita to go...Surprised that a VERY simple pizza tasted like a bullet one hour later. The basilic on top was blackened, pity this italian restaurant should have better pizza crust, and oh yes....VERY PRICY for this bullet bite

Incredibly inattentive bar staff. My date and I sit at the bar for dinner. No drink or cocktail menu offered. I have to ask for one. My date orders a glass of wine and the server never comes back to ask me for my order after looking at the cocktail menu and dropping off the wine. Just puts the wine down and walks away even though I was clearly ready to put an order in. I had to ask for a beer. Gives us 1 dinner menu. Had to ask for a drink and another menu. Had to ask again to order appetizers. Tender never provided bread, place settings or utensils and my date had to ask for napkins and utensils while our food was sitting in front of us. Clams oreganata were littleneck clams lacking in seasoning and flavor and also didn't come with a cocktail fork -no oregano or seasoning with a flat flavor profile. Some of the clams weren't shucked from the shell and I'm awkwardly trying to remove them with a dinner fork. Calamari was tubes only, chewy and underwhelming for the price. The spicy marinara was the highlight. I sat with finished plates and an empty beer glass in clear view for 10 minutes. I asked a server walking by if they could describe their signature meatball stuffed eggplant and he goes, "oh it's great!" but can't tell me how the dish is prepared. Had to go get another staff member to tell me about it. Bartender finally takes the plates away and leaves my empty glass and she doesn't ask me if I want another beer. We have to then ask again to order dinner. My date asks if the chicken picatta has artichokes because she loves them. Bartender says yes then the dish comes with no artichokes and she says, 'Oh, my bad." The goes to the kitchen and comes back with cold artichokes for a hot dish. The total lack of attentiveness was so incredibly frustrating. We almost left after the appetizers but I really wanted to try this stuff eggplant that was ok. Zero eye-contact, zero maintenance of your patrons. Head down, not paying attention to literally anyone. Multiple parties flagging her down for the check or drinks. 3-star food made worse by the poor service. One of the lamest and most disappointing $200 dinners I have had in a while. Replace your bar staff and train your servers better on how to present your menu. Don't make patrons feel like an inconvenience to you. This was not a busy night and there's literally no legitimate excuse here. Anyone who was ever a server at some point in the lives and understands what it means to be a proper server or bartender would absolutely lose their minds here. One and done with this place.

F
Fabio Muniz

Worst risotto I’ve ever had. The rice was completely mushy, watery, and tasteless. The meat also had no flavor. I was very well attended to — unfortunately, I don’t remember the waiter’s name — but the food was terrible. I hate wasting food, but unfortunately, we couldn’t eat it. My wife couldn’t eat hers either, so it wasn’t just my dish.

Made a reservation for my family to go tonight. We got there, no one waiting, open tables outside, and they wouldn't honor our reservation. They said they would text us when our table was ready. Its been 2 hours. Fortunately we went somewhere else. Just go around the corner to Patrizia's.

Service, food disappointing! Party of 8.. Coming here for years.. Any restaurant should be run like a well oiled wheel.. Owners are you collecting revenue and profiting from tourists? Shame, it used to be good.

M

I went to Luigi’s Di Roma in Deerfield with my family and it was a terrible experience. The restaurant was maybe 15% full, yet it took over 40 minutes just to get water. I eventually had to walk to the bar myself just to get drinks. When I called the waiter out on the poor service, instead of fixing the issue he told the owner I was being racist — which was completely untrue and unacceptable. The owner then came out and threatened to kick me and my family out rather than addressing the situation professionally. That alone tells you everything you need to know about how management operates here. This place has really gone downhill, and the empty tables make it clear I’m not the only one who sees it. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else where customers are actually respected.
