Excellent, fried haddock dinner, clean oil, not at all greasy...and the best fries I've had in years. They took my order over the phone even though they where closing. Also very reasonably priced.

Hands down the best place to get ice cream. They have everything from soft serve cones, flavors of their own creation, slushies and, gluten free options and accommodations. And their fish menu has been revamped to include all of our old favorites and new loves like this crab cake sandwiches, po' boys and curry coleslaw. Visiting this place is always a treat.

I had a med. size cone of homemade maple walnut ice cream.... It was 3 scoops!!! Mm mm, so creamy and lots of walnuts! It was delicious!!

Always accurate and delicious! Sandwiches are large. Actual “sides” aren’t big enough though, so I always order a small instead. This is definitely one of my regular spots at this point and I wish I’d found it sooner! Highly recommend the Thanksgiving sandwich

Have started grabbing lunch from East Ave Deli, superior food and great service. Look forward to trying more menu items. Was not overly impressed with the Mac and Cheese. The homemade chips are awesome and so are the specialty sandwiches that I have tried so far. Definitely recommend.

Made my first trip to the deli this afternoon. Very pleased with both the service and meal I got. The young man seemed making my meal seemed not only excited to have me as a customer but also to put out a great sandwich. I ordered the wild bill panini. And it's already become one of my new favorites. The mac n cheese is homemade and delicious as well. I work nearby and look forward to eating there again

I love their hard ice cream. It's made there. Delicious flavors with lots of good stuff inside (nuts, peanut butter cups, etc) and it's just so creamy. The best ice cream store around!!

Had broiled scallops and fish sandwich. $10.50 for 6 large, juicy, well-seasoned scallops that were so good! Fish was great too. Had way more fries than I could ever eat. They weren't my favorite. A bit too greasy for me.

You must make the drive to Central Square for this little slice of heaven. The I had the Antipasto sandwich and the bread was heated perfectly and the meat has fabulous flavor. We were waited on in the deli by Denise and Bill. Then we went outside for ice cream. If you haven't tried Sundaes Best Garbage Plate ice cream in a Murtle Turtle Sundae, then you have been missing out! We were helped by Katie and Allison. The whole team at East Ave. Deli and Sundae Best makes you feel like you belong there. They are well worth the time and money.

I had Turkey club and it was delicious sandwich. I recommend trying this place out.

Ordered takeout through a 3rd party app. - This place is a little gemstone, just off the 81 interstate. The food was prepared promptly and tasted great. The Turkey Club was the winner here!

I stopped here to get lunch during a road trip. I was pleasantly surprised with East Avenue deli. The service was great. It took about 10 minutes to receive my order which I thought was pretty quick. Everything was sliced fresh and made to order. There’s an ice cream shop attached to this building as well. That was very good. I would definitely return here if I’m ever in the area.

First time here. I got the antipasto sandwich. It represents the Italian sub. Lots of meat and the flavors was fabulous. The pickle on the side was perfect. It seemed like a great place for the locals to gather and just talk.

1st time in, many options avail, including Fish fry and pulled pork. Today I got a daily special and a small Italian wedding soup. My only "complaint" is that more seasoning/ flavor would be nice. The soup had a watery flavor, maybe try cooking it in broth? All in all I did enjoy my meal and will return to try out more of the menu! Service was excellent!!!

Lunch time. Well, what's local ?? This amazing shop !!! Fresh made, fresh cut meat, rye bread, corned beef, cabbage, roasted red peppers, some of them halyoupeno peppers !!! Did I mention grilled ?? Oh, and it's it macaroni season already?? Snowing out, first day of spring, homemade macaroni salad.... Fantastic !! I can't wait to get back there. Great stop if you're out on the bike, coming down off the lake, grab some food, take it home.... Yum.

Everything is so delicious and fresh. Even the smell when you walk in is amazing. Don’t get me started on the bread, I can’t go on enough about how well-baked they all are. The antipasto sandwich is my favorite - swap in garlic mayo! Definitely a gem of a shop.

I really like this place. The salads and sandwiches are very good. I feel for them cause they are kind of tucked away out of sight. They always seem to be a bit overwhelmed as well. The club sandwich I had was good, but they used the heel of the bread as the middle piece, so there was this giant chunk of toast in the middle of my Sammi. Who does that?...anyway, still like this place, but they seem to suffer from the same labor shortages that we are facing everywhere, or maybe somebody was just having a bad day. Anyway, I hope they can hang in there, but next time, give the heel to the hounds...

Stopped here for a fish dinner. I was not allowed to pick my own side. I had to take the fries and I got to pick another. I asked for mac and cheese. That's more money. Why? I decided on Cole slaw instead. I got a 2 ounce cup of slaw. Cost me 16.53 for basically a piece of fish that was over cooked, fries I didn't want and two spoon fulls of slaw. I won't be back.

Placed our order, told them we were eating in dining room. Knew they forgot about us when people that ordered after us were getting their food before us. Panini was cold, potato salad was very bland and my wife's salad was missing have the items that were supposed to be in it ( dried cranberries and pumpkin seeds). Ice cream is good but won't be back to the deli.

Ordered the Giardinelli Chocolate Brownie Sundae for myself and my wife also got one but with different ice cream (chocolate peanut butter) added peanut butter sauce. What we got were rock hard, burnt brownies topped with a tablespoon of chocolate sauce. Then the ice cream; mine, I didn't realize when I ordered it was soft serve vanilla and hers plain chocolate with a tablespoon of peanut butter sauce. Mine was then doused with whipped cream and looked like a white mess. Hers had a little bit of whipped cream which seemed to be a proper amount. The flavor was not the best. Overall we were very disappointed.

Pulled pork was horribly dry and had afreezer burn tatste. Mac and cheese tasted like overcooked macaroni no cheese flavor. I paid extra for baked potato salad but didn't get it. They gave me regular potato salad with huge pieces of hard carrots instead.

My family arrived at 8:20 p.m. and was told all they could sell was hard ice cream because they were closing soon. Apparently the young kids they have working there were too concerned about leaving at closing time instead of making simple milk shake. Not a way I would want my business run. We wont be back.

Over priced meat 18.70 for one pound of roast beef 14.95 for one pound of Turkey. Didn’t give me price until at register and cut. Might be a good place for sandwiches but no cold cuts.

Ordered the Beef on Brioche for takeout. Beef was drier than beef jerky - no cheese, peppers, onions, or horseradish. Way overcooked and overpriced.

Dont bother. At a place where your eating one of the most sticky and messy forms of food, they don't let you you use the bathroom and don't have anything of which to cleanse yourself of the stickiness after eating. Unless the diner is open. But if it's just super sticky and messy ice cream stand that's open, then you can't use the bathroom inside to clean up. I wonder how the workers use the bathroom? Scallops not cooked right and way over seasoned. Clam chowder way under seasoned.[that I can fix]. Scallops were like jelly before I sauted them a bit more, was unable to save them. Mac salad looked like mac and cheese I was worried it was bad and threw it away. 1st time last time.

Ordered a mint chocolate chip shake, it tasted like they poured mint extract into it. Overpriced and the food is horrible. They used to be the top notch place in the square for seafood and ice cream, now they are the worst

My first experience at this location wasn't good at all. Found a long blonde hair in my soft serve ice cream. Totally disgusted by this. Will never return!!

Was super excited to try the homemade hard ice cream and custard. We ordered 4 flavors of hard and two different soft cones. All of them were made with broken custard. Gritty, grainy, gross.
