The pulled pork sandwich was absolutely amazing. We loved the variety of sauces available and my son's burger was too big for him to even get a full bite...he's not a little kid, he's 18!

Rib special is spectacular, our server Sam was fantastic, really friendly and had great suggestions. The banana pudding has chunks of banana and was delicious, big enough to share. Loved the flavored butter with my sweet potato fries

Delicious BBQ and a nice place to go with friends and family when I was back in town. The waitress was patient as there was a great bit to choose from and we also took a lot of time catch up. The cornbread and pecan butter are outstanding and a must have in my not so humble opinion. There's plenty of parking and it does get busy. (Because it's so good!)

I’ve been coming to this bar for about 10 years, and it’s not just the drinks or atmosphere that keep me coming back, it’s J.J. (The bartender) She’s got an incredible personality, always making you laugh! She not only remembers our drinks but also our food orders before we even ask. She has a knack for this business, and whether she’s waiting on me or someone new to the bar, she treats them like a friend of 20 years. Five stars!!

I went to get the wings I sampled at Taste of Syracuse "Bones Way". Finger licking hood. I also had a really good frozen strawberry lemonade while I waited for my wings.

Coming from the south to the north food with good flavor is hard to fine, with that said the brisket is very good along with everything else I tried thus far. I'm known as the brisket man since I attend on a weekly basis for their BOGO brisket!!!

We had a great experience tonight. No wait for a table. Our server, Tonya, was great! The nachos were excellent!

My wife and I were seated ~5pm tonight with our 2 young children. Our waitress Lily was exceptional as she was patient when our 3 year old ordered for herself and was prompt with our food and service. She was also kind & understanding when we knocked a glass mug over that shattered on the floor. I'd give a 6th star for service if I could.

I am not from around this area, I was just looking for places to eat on my way through and I honestly got extremely lucky. My husband and I couldn't decide on a meal so we got two to split and they were both great. We had an amazing waitress! We never had to track her down, as she always checked on us with great energy and a smile. Her name was Lilly, so if you are able to request one, I would ask for her! I would definitely recommend eating here and hope I find myself in the area again.

Tonya was an awesome waitress! The first time we came she was super friendly and extremely patient, explaining the menu and different wing options. We just came again after a month and she remembered us and our order from last time! The food is delicious and wings are definitely worth the price.

We chose Smokey Bones for lunch today and we had an awesome lunch. Our Dad asked our server if you had Sloppy Joes, she said unfortunatly not but suggested the brisket grilled cheese which was delicious. Prior to our food arriving to our table, the server brought over a custom made sloppy joe sandwich. Our Dads face absolutely lit up and he ate the whole thing! I came here late on a Wednesday, and was promptly seated. The kitchen closes at 1AM, which surprised me, since I was used to places shutting down much earlier. I had their smoked wings and brisket, which were both top-notch! What really made me loyal was their stellar service. The manager came out and told me that since it was the end of a long day, he would let me get premium sides for free since the ones I would have gotten wouldn't have been as fresh as they should have been. We had a wonderful dinner at Smokey Bones! We started with the delicious nachos! I had the bourbon chicken and buffalo wings combo and my husband had a rack of BBQ ribs. Everything was delicious. Our server LENA was friendly and spot on! We didn't have to ask for drink refills and she checked on us regularly to make sure we were doing well and didn't need anything else! Was a wonderful visit!

We had been ordering their food online and that made us visit this place. Lovely grilled environment to enjoy the food. Their half grilled bbq chicken is just out of this world. We have also tried their loaded nachos which was very delicious, didn’t like the onion rings and chicken tenders. It was hard to chew them. Rest was all amazing. Again must have their half chicken with coleslaw and baked beans, loaded nachos and chocolate cake. Will visit them again for sure.

My husband & I stopped here on a whim tonight. We stopped because the parking lot wasn't packed. What we got FAR EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS! We were welcomed & seated immediately. Our server, Lena was FAST and so, so warm. The food came out fast & was absoluteky amazing. My husband said the brisket was in par with some of the best brisket we've had in the south. I had the filet mignon...cooked perfect & melted in your mouth. Lena, though....she's the crown jewel of it all! We went to dinner around 3:30. Perfect time, not too busy. The atmosphere is great and looks neat and clean, also not a lot of noise so it's easy to have a conversation at your table. The food is really good. Ribs, steak, and sausage were our favorites! Our service was excellent and the waitress was very friendly! We will definitely come back again.

Went for an SU game a couple days ago, sat at the bar and ordered the smoked wings and a BBQ Mag Nacho. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! One of the managers, I think her name was Ashley came by to ask me how everything was. I noticed she was moving around a lot, lending a hand almost everywhere (running food, changing kegs, I think I saw her helping in the kitchen at one point) and she still made time to check in and ask how customers were doing. I will keep coming back if my experiences are like this!

A great plate of pulled pork nachos is all about the layers. The pork was incredibly tender and smoky, with just enough BBQ tang to stand out without overpowering the other toppings. Every layer was packed with flavor, from the fresh jalapenos to the cool crema on top.

Hubby and I went for date night with a little coupon to save a couple bucks. Our hostess was sweet, courteous and seated my hubby first so I could use the ladies room, then she pointed to where my hubby was seated. I found him and our server came right over. She was friendly, polite, knowledgeable about the menu and able to assist us with some of our decisions (appetizers) as we already knew what we wanted for our shared meal. She was very attentive, provided real world conversation without neglecting any of her responsibilities, and made us feel very welcome. My apologies, I meant to write this review the other day but something came up that distracted me. We had the pretzel sticks, and cornbread. I have to say, the pecan butter for the corn bread was better on the pretzels than the cheese sauce. The cheese sauce was loose, bland, and, meh. The pretzels alone were outstanding. The cornbread was great with the pecan butter, but a bit crumbly and dry. I added extra butter to compensate and the taste was delicious overall. We ordered the meal for 2 that is served on a mini BBQ grill at the table. It had chicken, ribs, smoked sausages, roasted peppers and onions, and smoked chicken wings. Incredible. Succulent. Or server's name was Leanne (I think!!!) She is 20 years old, has a true passion for the service industry, and LOVES PENS, SHE HAD A POCKET FULL OF MANY COLORS OF PENS. I LOVE USING MANY COLORED PENS!!! I lost my receipt or I could've looked.

Excellent place, would definitely recommend!!!!! Our server, Lena, was fantastic, and her attentiveness as well as gratitude in a clearly-bustling restaurant was not unnoticed. As well as providing some great menu advice, she was seriously one of the reasons we enjoyed this restaurant so much and will probably return. The food was also special. I went with the brisket platter, which was admittedly slightly smaller than I'd envisioned, but Lena did not lie and was spot on with saying it was plenty filling if you're starving. It was really juicy yet tender, and the quality of a real BBQ establishment was tasted with each bite. It was tons of fun sampling their own variety of barbeque sauces which were all very different but very good. The corn side was also not excessively salty, which can happen, but it was rather memorable and about as perfect as could be. The barbecue beans were also great (although I was craving them), and I was fortunate enough to receive an extra mini-bowl due to another table changing their mind while the kitchen already made the dish. The beans were to die for, and were probably some of the best I can remember. Seriously! Prices were reasonable too, and you really do get what you pay for if not extra. The vibe of this place is also really neat, you can smell the grill & meats upon entering. For entertainment, there are a plethora of screenings (even non-sports like Jeopardy were on) while people enjoy the pool table and dartboard. It's such a cool place and I'm sure there's a bunch I left out, so I'd strongly recommend checking this out if you want to experience it for yourselves! We were only driving by, but I can confidently say this improved my night and is definitely something to come back for.

Stopped by for dinner, while on a trip. We had never been to a Smokey Bones before. The place has a Large menu, with plenty of seating. Wings were delicious. Everyone was friendly. Aside from being a bit slow, service was great. I would have expected a restaurant like this, to serve dinner rolls with dinner, but sadly, they don't. I would still go back, though.

I ordered take out of 6 Smoked Wings and 6 Tradtional Wings. They were delicious!!! The only issue I had was instead of receiving 6 Tradtional Wings I only received 5. It doesn’t sound like a big deal but when you pay for something you expect to receive what you paid for.

Service is hit or miss. Sometimes it’s great, other times you feel that you’ve been forgotten about. Food is consistent, good barbecue for the region. Several TV’s with different sports, etc.

EICHEL was an excellent server, our host also was excellent. We had no wait time, seated immediately. Was here about 355 PM. My only complaint is I ordered 1/4 chicken not thinking about both of us in our party getting the same choice- one got leg and thigh and the other breast and wing. I will know, now, to request leg and thigh for both of us as neither of us care for breast portion. Beans could have been less spicy as people our age (60's) have issues with heartburn (GERD). I WONT CHOOSE THEM AS MY SIDE NEXT TIME. Corn was a DELICIOUS side option and we started with 3 soft pretzel logs with cheese (Absolutely Amazing!!!) We will be back! We went here for lunch just so I could get some diners club points for air miles with AA. They have a new item on the lunch menu. Your choice of a mashed potato bowl or a Mac and cheese bowl. We went with the Mac and cheese. My wife upped her order with a brisket bowl and I went with the pulled pork. Both bowls were good and inexpensive. I will be back here for lunch. I have yet to try dinner so can't comment. See pics.

I ordered from Uber eats so i am rating from the delivery aspect. My food was still very warm as if it had come straight from the grill/ oven. The Brunswick stew was very flavorful and reminiscent of food from my childhood growing up in south Georgia. The pulled pork sandwich was really good however it could possibly have been so much better with a sauce option either on the sandwich or on the side. The baked beans had a smokey yet subtly sweet flavor and was full of small bits of meat. I really appreciated that little touch of mastery. This restaurant will most definitely be going onto my reorder list.

It was ok. The brisket was meh. The sausage was good. The pulled pork fantastic. It was tasty and moist. Perfect. Sweet taters fries were over done and like tbe brisket, cold. I would eat here again. It was super busy, so I reckon my order was simply overlooked.

Establishment gets 3 stars because all of the dividers were filthy! Food, handprints, and who knows what else was smeared across them. The food was amazing some of our steak was under looked but no complaints. The drinks were excellent and they weren't stingy with the alcohol.

Absolutely loved the food here. Some of the best food we’ve probably eaten. This is a nice cozy place to stop and get smoked bbq. Service here was quite poor though. The waitress was nice but she put our order in incorrectly, she also didn’t stop by and ask if we needed refills. When we did ask for refills she forgot one of the drinks as well. The food took a while to come out as well. Close to 25 minutes for the main course which is to be expected with barbecue but desert took over 30 minutes to come out (one slice of chocolate cake and a bag of donuts) the donuts also were not brought out how the image is displayed but were still very good. Lastly we had to get up from our table and ask for the check since nobody ever brought it to us. Overall food is amazing but expect to wait a very long time for service as well as some of the items on the menu can get fairly pricey.

Honestly the food isn’t bad and the service is usually good. The lower stars are for how consistently slow the kitchen is with the food (whether I’ve been literally the only one there or full house) and for how they don’t know how to cook food. For example this burger is absolutely BURNT on the outside yet still rare as can be on the inside when I ask for medium well. As a cook at one of my part time jobs, I can cook burgers medium well without the charred outside just fine with no issues. But I will never understand how this place can consistently screw up a burger this often and I’m not trying to sound like a downer about it, it’s just humorously impressive at this point.

Service was fair, food was terrible. I would rather eat at McDonald’s than here, the food was awful. My brisket wasn’t just burnt the meat was hard, dry and salty. My daughters boneless chicken was hard with little meat, they gave her a salad with whole sliced tomatoes. The salad was served on a plate so small it was falling all over and hard to eat. Absolutely worse quality than fast food and I paid over $25 for my plate alone. I will not be returning.

This has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had for a long time. I leave maybe one bad review every ten years. I really don’t like doing this. I ordered my food 40 minutes ahead and came the exact time they said it would be done. The 1st employee checked on my food and said a couple more min it’s almost done. I waited 7-8 minutes then Asked another and the next said 5-10 min. 10 min later I asked again and the next simply said “uhh it’s not my fault” and didn’t even check in the food. The most arrogant and rude attitude. The crazy thing is she also said it was busy but not even half the tables were full and there was 4 girls standing 6 feet away from me gossiping about last night fun. Finally the last girl went to check and said oh they are bagging it right now. 6 min was how long it took to bag two and a half boxes. The worst part of this is they forget my salad. I asked medium rare for my burger which yes it took then a whopping hour and 9 min to make from order time and it was very well done and cold. The onion rings with my wife’s medallions were completely rock hard. I called back just to complain about not having the salad and the manager promised me a refund on my salad and a refund for the wings, which was actually the only good thing I ordered. She said 2-3 business days and it’s been past that and not even a pending credit. I have been treated with complete lack of respect, served mostly cold and overcooked food, and even worse lied to by the manager. You best believe I’m going to call every single day from now until I get what’s promised to me. I didn’t even complain about anything except the excessive wait time and a salad, I actually let go of the rest of their cooking mistakes and they got the nerve to lie straight to my face. A manager! She asked my name and credit card info and acted like she was going to refund me but it was all for show just to insult me further. I just cannot believe the staff on 9/21/25. it was an entire staff of girls in the front end with attitude and rude demeanor. The guy who came in the same time I got my food told me he ordered only 30 min ago and his bag is the same size as mine. All I had was a burger and some medallions and wings. I was thinking oh if they just cooked it then it’s gotta be fresh and hot. That was not the case. The crazy part is my family just spent 300 there last week for a birthday and everything was excellent. We tipped easily over 20 percent. Do not ever order out here or at least avoid this day because it was appalling how they reacted over just a take out order. Hopefully this restaurant fires and rearranges its staff. Especially a LYING manager. What the heck? Unprofessional is an understatement.

My friends and I who frequency come to this establishment had probably the worst service I’ve ever been given there last night 8/6 at around 7. We all ordered a round of the five dollar shots yet they didn’t recognize one that was on the menu so he had to take it to the bar, no big deal things happen when there is a new item. We finally get the shots back and clearly one of the main ingredients was missing from it and the shot glasses were dirty (Still decided to not complain as we drank them anyway) My boyfriend ordered a vodka SODA with lime, And he receives vodka with WATER and no lime And the waiter said that he would be back with one, never comes back with one so we had to go up to the bar ourselves and get a lime. When our food finally came out, all of the sides were messed up, and my boyfriend had never received his brisket claiming it would be about five minutes later, 8 to 10 minutes go by and everyone has already almost finished their food and that’s when I finally went to speak to the manager. Instead of speaking to the manager, I talked to a nice girl with pinecone necklaces, and she relayed my message to the manager that I at least wanted his food comped. Shortly after she Comes back to the table, saying that he is willing To take my boyfriend’s, honestly gross sandwich off. I figured the manager would present himself at the table, but clearly couldn’t even do that, bad service. I understand businesses have bad days, but when it’s every step of the way, I find it very unacceptable and I’m not one to complain. To be honest with you, the only competent person was the nice girl with the pinecone necklaces. Unfortunately, I will not be coming here for a while And it is one of my favorite local chains. Our waitress could have cared less if we were satisfied. She did the bare minimum. Only checking on us twice the entire time we were there. The food was scarce for the price and not as good as I remembered it to be.
