Sicilian Butcher is an experience from the moment you walk in. The décor alone is worth the visit — from cutting boards and clever wall displays to wine bottles lining the space and handmade pasta being crafted right in the corner. It feels authentic, lively, and thoughtfully designed. The food was absolutely to die for. The calamari steaks were so tender they cut like butter, and the truffle pasta was bursting with flavor in every single bite. Truly unforgettable. The service was just as amazing — Emma was outstanding! She was attentive, friendly, and made the entire dining experience even better with her warm and knowledgeable service. And don’t skip dessert — the classics are done perfectly. The tiramisu and cannolis were amazing, and being able to mix and match cannoli flavors is such a fun touch. An incredible dining experience all around — we can’t wait to come back!
I was looking for a place to eat for my birthday dinner and I love Italian, so we decided to try this place out. Our server Sam was excellent, she was very attentive and quick on drink refills! I had the Ragu which was excellent. Mom had the lobster pasta (basically ravioli) and the wife had menage A trouis...also very good! Our favorite was the meatball ferris wheel though, very good, different and fun.
This place is so good <3 Went here on 2/13 for an early Valentine’s dinner and it was great. They had a special seafood menu for the holiday. Sam was super sweet and we had a great time!! Service was a little slow but it was a holiday and quite busy so it made sense :)
Just ate dinner here for the first time. I was dining alone so I sat at the bar, under the suggestion of the hostess. It was a Sunday evening at about 7 pm. The restaurant was occupied but not busy. The bar tenders, Aubrey and a Natalie, greeted me warmly. I ordered the statue of David cocktail (mostly because I wanted to drink it out of the statue head) and it was well-balanced, lightly fruity, and generous. I had the pleasure of meeting the sous chef, Chris. I asked him what I should order and he guided me to the Menage a Trois - a blend of shrimp, calamari, and clams tossed with pasta in a San Marzano, saffron, and wine sauce. I was concerned about the chili in the dish, so he brought me a couple slices of the pepper to sample first. I asked if he could have the dish prepared lite on the chili, and he said absolutely. That pasta dish was *chef kiss* perfect. The flavors were so harmonious and fresh. Each bite of seafood was cooked to perfection. The pasta is made in-house daily, and it shows. Aubrey hooked me up with a great Tuscan red, light-bodied and smooth, that complimented the dish perfectly. I haven't had pasta this good since I was in Sicily. Chris came back out to make sure I was enjoying the meal. I was stuffed from my dinner, but couldn't resist getting a piece of tirimisu to go. (There is a Sicilian bakery attached/inside.) I couldn't go to bed without at least sampling the dessert, and it was some of the best I've ever had. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone. From the friendly greeting of the hostess to the banter with the bartenders and the genuine passion of the sous chef, this restaurant is firing on all cylinders. If you want fresh, quality food and drink prepared with love, The Sicilian Butcher is the restaurant for you. I know it's the restaurant for me!
Came with my family and from the moment we walked in the service was amazing! The hostess and host up front made sure to seat us where there was space for the stroller. Followed by Jacob the KINDEST most patient server ever. He had the best recommendations and was on top of everything. For drinks we tried their ginger strawberry mocktail, so yummy and the ginger had quite the kick. For my entree I had the chicken parm with rigatoni vodka sauce off the lunch menu, it came with 2 bruschettas for the starter (the basil pesto one was was SO GOOD). Then for dessert Carmel gelato. We also tried the margarita pizza. Everything was a 10/10. Service, pricing, food taste and quality. We will absolutely be back! Thank you Jacob!!!
Some of the best service we’ve ever had! This was our last anniversary before getting married, and we were looking for the perfect restaurant, which we absolutely found at The Sicilian Butcher. We were seated immediately for our reservation and surprised with a handwritten card wishing us a happy anniversary, signed by the staff, along with a card for a free cannoli. The manager, Nic, personally greeted us, thanked us for choosing to celebrate with them, and could not have been kinder. To help us celebrate, he brought out the Italian saganaki, which was insanely good. Our food came out incredibly fast, and both of our pasta dishes were divine. Our server, Hannah, was super bubbly and was an absolute joy. We wish her nothing but the best, she was truly amazing For dessert, we ordered the tiramisu and cannoli, which were brought out on a plate wishing us a happy 8th anniversary, something we only mentioned once when Nic asked us in the very beginning. The attention to detail throughout the entire experience was incredible, and we genuinely felt so special. We can’t recommend this place enough and are already looking forward to spending many future anniversaries here!
We will be back. I brought a picky teenager and there were no leftovers. We had 2 shareable appetizers, the Fritto Misto and Nonna's bread. Then we each had a pasta dish, and desert. We loved the mufaldine pasta. It held the sauces perfectly, and the Taomaso's Sicilian meatballs were so good too. Tiramisu and Lemon Canolli were the perfect finish.
I made a reservation in advance to celebrate my son’s birthday. He wanted gnocchi! I had notated that we were celebrating, but sadly, there was no mention during our dining. No worries though. We were promptly seated, enjoyed the busy atmosphere, and noticed the large outdoor dining area. We were greeted by our server in a timely manner, and were not rushed. Water was provided, and our drink order taken. When our server returned, he was very helpful in going over the menu with us since I had never dined here before. We chose the Stuffed Squash Blossoms, and both ordered the Gnocchi with Vodka Sauce with Tomaso’s Sicilian Meatballs. The Stuffed Squash Blossoms arrived, and looked quite delicious with four to an order. We were both underwhelmed, unfortunately. Although generously stuffed, the corn overpowered the smooth texture of the filling, the mint we could not taste, and the dish desperately needed salt. I will say that the batter was wonderfully crunchy though. Our main course was delivered before I had a chance to finish my appetizer. I personally prefer to be completely done before my main arrives, but I understand they were quite busy on a Friday evening. Upon first glance of the Gnocchi with Vodka Sauce and Tomaso’s Sicilian Meatballs, the dish looked inviting albeit a bit messy with the plating (the photo has been edited to clean up the plate). First bite of the gnocchi….pillowy perfection! Tender, soft, and almost no chewing required. Very pleased. The vodka sauce was excellent, and perfectly balanced. The meatballs were amazingly tender and delicious, and with three meatballs to a portion, quite generous. Overall, excellent! Now, while I personally would pass on the squash blossoms, I would definitely return again to try other pastas, and a different appetizer. The experience and the food was lovely overall.
Great experience all around! The food and dessert were excellent, the portions were very generous, and the service was outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from start to finish. Highly recommend and will be our first stop when we visit Arizona again.
Enjoyed a fabulous anniversary dinner here tonight! I had the branzino fish dish, and it was the best fish I have had in a long time; delicate, flavorful and so perfectly prepared I asked our wonderful server Nico to give my compliments to the chef. The manager Angelo, and Chef Adam came to say hello, and we were so impressed with the staff, along with the excellent service and high quality of the food. My husband had the butcher’s pizza and he loved it. The wedge salad was the best, with a smoked creamy sauce, and our appetizer-mussels in a smoky Calabrian chile broth, left us cleaning the bowl with the delicious bread that came with it. We had tiramisu for dessert that was freshly made in house. Even the house red wine was smooth and delicious. If we could give 10 stars we would. We highly recommend The Sicilian Butcher and will be back soon! Buon appetito!
Absolutely amazing experience at The Sicilian Butcher in Chandler, AZ! I started with their espresso martini topped with Neapolitan cold foam—perfection in a glass. The Italian saganaki was sooo good, rich and flavorful. For my main, I had the meatball Ferris wheel, and it was incredible—especially the chicken parm meatball and the turkey meatball with pesto, both bursting with flavor. Finished with the lemon meringue tart, which was the perfect sweet ending. The service was very attentive from start to finish. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Arizona!
One of my favorites…. I had the cappuccino martini, the stuffed zucchini blossoms, the wedge salad, the baked gnocchi Mac n cheese and the cured meat & cheese board. Yes I did have help. I will be back! Don’t forget to take dessert home with you from their awesome bakery and gelato place!
You can’t go wrong eating here. We frequent the SB as we have never had a bad meal and I am totally thrilled with their Lobster Ravioli and more specifically the lobster bisque. For 40 years I’ve been trying lobster bisque at restaurants worldwide and couldn’t find one that was as good as the Fountainblu MIami 1985. I found the best Lobster Bisque here at Sicilian Butcher!!! Baked Cannelloni and Salmon with Nonas Garlic Bread and Lemoncello!!!
My friend and I went to The Sicilian Butcher over the weekend. The food was absolutely incredible, but more importantly the service was top tier. We had Oliver as a server, and he was such a whimsical human. He was extremely personable, good-natured, and very on top of refills. We had a really pleasant experience and would definitely go back! ps the pizza cutting scissors are very satisfying 😎
We went there to celebrate our anniversary, and they didn't disappoint! They had amazing food, and so was their service! I ordered the Meatball ferris wheel, a great way to sample a bunch of their flavors. We sat in the outside dinning area. It was great, except the sun was setting and the umbrellas they had wasn't enough to block it out. The manager apologized for the inconvenience, and said he wants to get the pull down shades but it's not up to him. It was a minor detail in the overall experience. We just adjusted what direction we sat in. We will definitely will be returning to try more of their delicious food.
In town on business, went here for dinner. We ordered the Pane Cunzatu for appetizers, everyone at the table agreed they were amazing. I chose to order the Craft Meatballs, Sauce & Pasta. The Uncle Arthur’s Sausage meatballs, the Parmigiano Cream sauce and the Strozzapreti pasta. It doesn’t appear to be a lot but it’s very filling. The meatballs were amazing, the sauce was good, I would order different pasta next time, it was weirdly heavy (could just be me). The service was great, the appetizer and main course came out when expected. We were there a little before the dinner rush. We all agreed we would come back again.
Espresso martini was amazing, meatball ferris wheel and bruschetta flight were amazing, pasta was alright (not the best). Deserts were good as well and great service. We will definitely eat here again to try more of the menu.
We're visiting town and feel so fortunate to have discovered this amazing restaurant. The food was absolutely perfect, a solid 10 out of 10. Sam, our waitress, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and full of great suggestions that made our experience even better.
This was our first time here at The Sicilian Butcher and it was phenomenal from the food to the service from Jesse. We branched out and had their bruschetta and were amazed by the amount of flavor on each and every one of them. The pasta was just as delicious and very filling. We will definitely be back!
Emma was out server she was so gracious and accommodating! We loved her! The Paparedelle and Meatballs with Bolognese The canola cart for desert and the gelato were just like being in Sicily!
Went here for our anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint! Our server Julia made us feel so special and gave great recommendations. Food was delicious at a great price! Our favorite dining experience in Chandler we’ve had so far.
Great food. Attentive service. Atmosphere was a little loud and amazing decor! They have an open kitchen for showcasing how they make their pastas and meatballs. Would definitely come back to try other dishes!
Had dinner Saturday night. The atmosphere was great and lively. Food was amazing and everything tasted fresh. The espresso martini was THE BEST I've ever had and highly recommended. Melody our server was A1 and keaton at the bakery was awesome. Im ready to go back.
We recently dined at the Sicilian Butcher and had a lovely experience overall. The service we received was truly exceptional, with attentive staff ensuring our needs were met promptly. The quality of the food was outstanding, and we thoroughly enjoyed every dish we ordered. We also want to commend the manager Ken and the bartender server Bryson as they were both very pleasant and helpful. We would certainly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal.
Had a wonderful lunch at Sicilian Baker! The saganaki was delicious. Lasagna was really good, I loved the thin layers of pasta and the tomato sauce was perfect. The mushroom sauce was very flavorful. Will definitely come back for dinner. Dessert was delicious as well!
I celebrated my birthday dinner here and as a first time customer, I really enjoyed it. The food was cooked to perfection and my waiter, Jesse was amazing. So happy to have come here and I can't wait to try more of their menu items when I'm back. (I had the Negroni Spritz and 10 layer lasagna)
This is a great place. It's upbeat and the service was awesome. Food we ordered mushroom pasta and the prefix dinner for restaurant week. Nonna's garlic bread. Personally I was under impressed on the garlic bread and the garlic herb butter was underwhelming. The main courses, the mushroom pasta was fantastic. I had Nonna's baked cannelloni. It was good I would have preferred more ragu and less white sauce to balance it out with the ricotta but it was good. Dessert was Italian assorted cookies. They were awesome. Good to note their bakery has traditional Italian cannolis with chocilate chips in the filling and some dipped. Gelato ..blood orange which I will try again. I definitely recommend. The atmosphere is great and upbeat. I will return.
Stopped in for lunch and the place was lively even for being mid week. Our server was very friendly and we received our food quickly. The appetizers were great and love the build your own pasta dish option. All of the dishes are pretty well portioned and they even offer a three course lunch special for $27 that’s totally worth it!
Went a few years ago for my birthday and thought about it every day since. Was able to go yesterday (day before Thanksgiving), and it was just as good. Service (thank you Natalie) was great very friendly and personable, food delicious, and atmosphere delightful. Will be back
Food was amazing and our server, Azriel, was very attentive and so friendly. Will definitely be back!
Lobster filled pasta. Excellent. I just had their meat lasagne. Hardly any meat but very good. 6 meatball ferris wheel very good. Tiramisu excellent. 3 different days.
Excellent service from Jesse at The Sicilian Butcher in Chandler. Attentive, welcoming, and knowledgeable with great recommendations. Service felt genuine and professional, making the dining experience truly enjoyable. Jesse helped make the evening memorable and is highly recommended.
Great pizza, meatballs and salads! Bartenders Jason and Israel are awesome! Excellent spumoni and cannolis!
Our dinner at Sicilian butcher was delicious, everything came out quickly and was flavorful. Jesse was our server and was extremely attentive and helpful as we had many questions and asked for recommendations. We will definitely be back!
Absolutely amazing food, atmosphere and service. You can’t go wrong with the pizzas and meatballs. Happy hour at the bar all the time! The dessert is to die for! Love this place.
Familiar with Chandler but this restaurant was a very nice surprise. Scottsdale level dining in every way. Reminded me of a fox restaurant we love called Olive & Ivy but this is a lot more Italian. Very efficiently run, staff looked genuinely happy which is usually a good sign. Decor is creative, menu is unique, food delicious beginning to end. We’ll be incorporating a stop here every time we’re in town visiting our AZ family. We ate too much to even think about grabbing dessert but we’ve been to Sicily and the bakery looked 100% legit. Thank you for such a perfect evening TSB!
We celebrated our anniversary at The Sicilian Butcher, and it was a fantastic experience! The restaurant is so cute, and we loved sitting outside on the big patio under the string lights—it created such a great ambiance. Our waitress was wonderful and made the evening even better. We started with the stuffed zucchini blossoms, which were absolutely delicious, even for us non-mint lovers. My husband had the Sicilian wedge salad, which he said was crispy and full of flavor. For our mains, I ordered Nonna’s baked manicotti, which unfortunately wasn’t my favorite—it was a bit overpriced, overly salty, and not as hot as I expected. However, my husband’s dish completely made up for it! He got Uncle Arthur’s sausage meatballs with gnocchi in vodka sauce, and it was incredible—so flavorful and perfectly cooked. After dinner, we walked over to their bakery, and wow, I was impressed! The selection was amazing, and we especially loved the cannoli bar. We wished we could have customized mini cannolis, but we still left with a box full of delicious treats. Overall, we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a while and with friends coming into town it seemed like the perfect time? Tara genuinely made our experience so lovely! She was very knowledgeable about the menu and when we told her it was our first time she was more than happy to explain dishes to us and tell us her recommendations. The food was phenomenal and the drinks were too! We stopped by the cannoli bar at the end to look at options but we were so full that we had to leave empty handed, which just means we'll have to come back to try the cannoli another time! Thanks so much to Tara for all the help and recommendations!
We ate a birthday dinner for my wife yesterday evening and had Kevin C as our server. He was outstanding. Although we had eaten there over a year ago, he took us thru the new menu and made excellent recommendations. My wife ordered the Senor Hugo Spritz and we shared the flaming Greek cheese Saganaki, prepared tableside. It was really tasty and the presentation was superb. Our two entrees were the Strozzapreti shrimp a la vodka & the chef favorite picchio pacchiu sauce with Campanella pasta and eggplant meatballs. Both meals were really tasty. After dinner my wife ordered a decaf cappuccino which he made and they brought her a complementary tiramisu with a birthday candle which we shared. All in all, it was a great meal accompanied by fabulous service! We will be dining there again and will be certain to ask for one of Kevin’s tables!
I went to this place today 1/13/26, with my co-workers (3 of us) around 11:20 am. Ordered the spaghetti with meatballs—sauce was fantastic, hearty portions, cooked to perfection. Atmosphere was relaxed, staff attentive. And our server, Caitlin—now she really made the visit. Always smiling, knew exactly what to suggest, had this great energy. Made the whole lunch better. Definitely coming back soon.
First time here and the staff were super sweet! Our waitress gave us great recommendations, and we ended up enjoying the “build your own pasta.” The pasta is made in-house and it’s really delicious! The espresso martini is made with actual espresso, 10/10 recommend. The tiramisu was a little disappointing though, I could taste the grittiness of the sugar in the crème.
This restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, which was nice. It was our first visit, and we started with the bruschetta — it was good, and we especially liked the fig jam and ricotta. For our entrées, we had the eggplant meatballs with vodka sauce (wish it had a little more spice and sauce), the pork rollatini and gnocchi (very good, but could use a few more gnocchi), and the kids’ chicken Milanese with fries — which was excellent! Overall, we enjoyed our meal and would come back to try more dishes.
Went there for lunch with large and sat on patio. They had heat lamps on so, the ladies were warm. Service was Spot-On! Getting orders, drinks, appetizers and lunch was punctual. I had the chicken parmesgan and let me tell you ...it's Large cutlet! Very tasty. Everybody enjoyed their meals and dessert was fantastic 😋
The food was quite delicious the atmosphere was ok. It was a bit loud for my lunch meeting. The portions were decent for the price between $25-35. They don't bring you anything to munch on like other restaurants. The one thing I didnt like was boy our food took like 25- 30 mins so don't come when your hangry because you will have to wait.
Party of eight celebrating three birthdays. Reservation at 5:30. We spent $120 at the bar before being seated. At 8:30, while finishing dessert and still ordering drinks, a woman from another party approached our table, identified herself as the hostess, and told us to “hurry up” because of a 7:30 reservation. The restaurant initially accommodated that behavior rather than addressing it, and no one came to our table until after words were exchanged. A senior hostess later apologized, explaining she was “just trying to make everyone happy,” though we had made no complaints and were simply enjoying our reserved table. After requesting a manager, the meal was comped. We ensured our wait staff was tipped appropriately — their service was excellent, as was the manager’s response once involved. Notably, the same hostess who apologized was later seen walking out with a member of the other party, which did little to instill confidence in how the situation was handled. Outstanding servers. Disappointing front-of-house judgment.
Currently sitting here. Waiting for the waitress to come out and check on us and get the check. The restaurant doesn’t seem too crowded. Yet there is a line waiting to be seated at the hostess table and no workers in sight. We have been here for over an hour (almost an hour and half), I have seen our server 3 times. Maybe they need more staffing? Or, manage the flow better for inside and outside guests. Feels like we were forgotten about.
We sat outside last night for dinner. It smelt like old trash outside , it was light but still there. Toward the end of our meal there was someone smoking on the other side of the outdoor area and it was so strong and a big turn off so definitely don't sit outside if you can. The food , hubby did like his chicken Parm Our pizza (butcher) was good /ok The gnocchi was pillow-y and we got the cheese sauce (don't suggest this at all) The food price was very high and quality wasn't in line. Dessert we got blood orange sorbet - it was ok and lobster tail with cream inside - eh shouldn't have ordered it. Our waiter felt like he was skittish and we would try to say something but he was already running off and he did an ok job but definitely wished there was more attention. I felt like he had possibly too many tables but not entirely sure. Overall we weren't impressed and probably won't go back.
If your looking for a delicious authentic craft pizza please look elsewhere. Honestly the highest disappointment. The crust was thick, pale, and doughy more like underbaked sandwich bread than an authentic artisan pizza crust .This is the worst I've ever had. My Nonna is rolling in her grave. Microwavable pizza would of been better. 🥲
garbage service AND garbage food. a younger family member of mine had an intense craving for italian food after an outing a couple weeks back, and we just so happened to be nearby this spot, so we decided to try it out. after we decided on our orders, it took ALMOST AN HOUR to get our food, and a server GOT OUR ORDER WRONG too. by the time we got the dishes we ordered, the dishes were COLD when we believed that they’d be warmer had they been served sooner. there were groups of a similar or larger size that came in after us and yet got served sooner, and got more communication from the staff to boot! the lasagna wasn’t even flavorful. it just tasted like straight up cardboard. at least my relative enjoyed the pasta and meatballs more, but i WILL NOT come back here on my own volition. if the idea had popped up beforehand, i would’ve left a cent tip, but i didn’t, so oh well :/
Came 12/5 with a party of 9. Our server Oliver was outstanding! Attentive, friendly, knew the menu well and was able to make suggestions with true customer interest. His tip’s showed our appreciation of his effort. Unfortunately that was the highlight of the evening. The dishes to a person were underwhelming to say the least. 2 people had lobster Fazzoletti a $35 dish with “zero” lobster. The 10 layer lasagna was cold and bitter. I had the Stropzzapreti pasta with parmigiana cream sauce with the specialty meatballs @ an up charge. The pasta was cold, the sauce clumped together like it had been sitting and the meatballs were not the speciality but plan like someone just grabbed any three and threw them on the plate. The meals took over and hour plus to come out and many dishes were put in front of wrong people. One of our group heard a server say the kitchen was backed up. Ownership- if you are going to tout your restaurant on a quality level and legacy of Tommaso’s you have to be paying attention to what is going out of the kitchen and more importantly what’s being prepared in the kitchen at fine dining prices.
